In der ARD Mediathek gibt es gerade eine Dokuserie namens "Millennial Punk - Eine Subkultur in Zeiten der Digitalisierung". Die Serie hat 4 Folgen und ist super informativ und spannend! Es geht um Nostalgie, Politik, Diskriminierung, Anti-Rassismus, Feminismus, natürlich Musik etc.

Vielleicht hat jemand hier ja auch Interesse :)

This week is hell, work-wise, but Rock im Park put out a line-up today that is literally everything. I will die, but holy fuck will I enjoy it.

Askin me bout german punk? Thats my favourite topic!

I really like the "Lumpenpack" and "Die Ärzte". It's a bit more pop, but still punk. Just cause it's popular doesn't mean it's bad. But if I really want to scream? "Irie Révoltés", "KAVKA", "Deine Cousine", "ZSK", "Drei Meter Feldweg" and "Engst".

Try to translate those names, german punk is funny like that.

That’s a solid list, bruv. Die Ärzte’s a classic, an’ I’m all for a bit of pop in punk if it’s got somethin’ to say. Ain’t heard much of Irie Révoltés or KAVKA, but you best believe I’m addin’ ‘em to the queue. Names alone got me curious -- German punk does have a way with words, yeah?

Always respect a scene that knows how to scream proper. Might have to swap playlists sometime.
