Little update and writing plans
Hi hello, as you might have seen, I'm back from a very needed break (and into the thick of it, but I am determined not to let it get to me anymore). :)
Scotland was wonderful in every regard. I threw some photos I took in the queue, so I hope you'll like them. The time went by so fast! Also: I don't really like Edinburgh. Go figure. The highlands, on the other hand, were a dream.
I've also adjusted my plans for SoaQ, since it was clearly long overdue. My new self-imposed deadline is the end of October. I'm going to try to do some update posts at least once a week to hold myself accountable. Since I'm aiming for around 80k words for the first draft, that's around 12k a month for the next three months, which is very doable, I think, as long as I actually take the time to write. On that note: I did 2k today, so that's a good start. :)
I hope to be around more again, now. Or I'll try to be. We'll see how it goes.
