This is a 1990 Corvette ZR-1 I purchased from the original owner in March 2022. It is my first and only barn find.

The vehicle was purchased brand new in Cincinnati, during June of 1990, and trailered to the owner's home in TN. After it was unloaded and pulled into the garage, it was left there for 32 years until I purchased it. The oil was never changed so, the original oil filter was still in place, as was the battery and air filter. The window sticker (Monroney Label) has never been removed.

I had the car winched onto an enclosed trailer and delivered to our home in KY. I've spent hundreds of hours cleaning and detailing, being careful not to alter original finishes and markings.

The vehicle was trailered to Haibeck Automotive in Chicago where Marc prepared the car to run for the 1st time in 32 years. All fluids were flushed and changed, seat bladders were removed and new installed. Every component now functions as new and it gets started once per month.

Since the car went 32 years without being driven, I've chosen to keep it that way. I have other cars to satisfy my desire to drive. The hobby has enough ZR-1s with plenty of miles, it doesn't really need another one. I plan to get it out to shows, on occasion, so others can see it.
