STARTER CALL  •  Like this post for a starter from Zia Miller, an original character based on the musical Cabaret and Christopher Isherwood’s Berlin Novels. Length will vary. Verse will be either canon or modern, depending on what I’m feeling - if there’s one you’d prefer, just comment and let me know! If you’re a multi and want to specify a muse of yours, comment for that as well!

ZIA MILLER’S STARTER CALL  •  @imkabarett  •  Herman Jäger
A smile found its way to her lips as soon as she saw him, looking far less out of place than he could have done as he lingered outside the wing of the university that housed her office. She was quick to suppress it, however, as she drew close enough to call out to him; there was no harm in having a little fun with him, even if he was being sweet.

“Darling girl, men like him are ten a penny.” She muses as she lights a cigarette. “You can do much better than him - you know that, don’t you?”

ZIA MILLER’S STARTER CALL  •  @imkabarett  •  Victor Sommer
She hadn’t been to the Klub too often of late - not after everything that had happened. But tonight she found herself entering the all too familiar building, making a beeline for the bar and a very stiff drink. She’d been half hoping that Herman would be behind the bar (to save her the task of actually seeking him out, more than anything), but the employee who she was faced with was wholly unfamiliar to her.
Funny, the things that happened when you stopped paying attention.

ZIA MILLER’S STARTER CALL  •  @imkabarett  •  Tabitha Campbell-Grey
She’d been attempting to find a book in the admittedly rather chaotic scene that her office had become over the last few weeks for almost half an hour, and was almost relieved to hear the door open - largely because the list of people who would come and speak to her without knocking was very short.
Tumblr media
“Thank God,” She exhaled as she looked up and saw Tabitha. “I’m going mad, come and distract me. How did the first years treat you?”
