Detroit, Michigan has become the epicenter of the Android Revolution. IRKdroids, humanoid autonomous machines with alien features, sold by the corporation Cyberlife have made their way into almost every facet of human society. 14 years after their debut, something is beginning to change. More and more Defective IRKdroids have emerged and are committing serious crimes. Summary: Ever since ZiM showed up wearing stockings, Dib's been haunted. He even has an (erotic) nightmare about it and blames his nemesis. As if that wasn't enough, now their high school class was being bussed off for two days of 'outdoor education' in the mountains, which meant two days of being surrounded by people who hated him. Or…he could go look for cryptids in the woods. Guess which one he decides to do?

ZiM saves Dib from hypothermia. Then they fight and make out.
