Detroit, Michigan has become the epicenter of the Android Revolution. IRKdroids, humanoid autonomous machines with alien features, sold by the corporation Cyberlife have made their way into almost every facet of human society. 14 years after their debut, something is beginning to change. More and more Defective IRKdroids have emerged and are committing serious crimes. Detective Dib Membrane of the DPD is tasked with investigating these crimes with his new partner, a prototype IRK800 named Zim, and uncovering a conspiracy that could destroy Humanity. A crossover with Invader Zim characters in the Detroit Become Human world and story. Detective Dib Membrane with the Detroit Police Department and a prototype IRK800 android named Zim have been assigned as partners to solve the crisis of defective androids. Over the past two decades, Cyberlife androids, designed to look like green aliens, have become an important part of society, the economy, and source of many problems of inequality. Now in 2038, they are claiming to have developed free will and emotions. How will the pair navigate this mystery, changing world, and the rivalry they have formed with each other?
