Looks like I’m about to dive back into Yu Yu Hakusho fanart, which kicked off my art style in the first place.

Live action just deepened my love for these characters, for this story. Hiei and Kurama will always be faves, and I drew them most, but Yusuke Urameshi occupies a portion of my self-reflective heart permanently.

You're both hotheads, a bit obsessed with fighting: you two train and fight almost once a day, sometimes with your friends, but usually alone

It may happen you argue about the stupidest things (for instance you've banal arguments about seats on the bus), but generally you two make up quite quickly, since deep down you're both kind souls: you love each other very much, and you show it very subtly (only your closest circle of friends can notice that), for example by protecting each other from afar

You two often suffer reproaches from Keiko, who scolds you for skipping school to go to the arcades for example, together; you seemingly ignore her words, but you actually take them very much to heart ("Ne (hey), Yusuke. Maybe we should listen to Keiko…" "Maybe yes…")

It's very funny you've to ask Kurama to help you study, as neither of you two follows the lessons at all and isn't even a genius at studying; when that happens, you study very little, but you've laughs you'll remember forever

Little curiosity: you two compete to see who gets the highest grade in tests at school; for now you're ahead, but only because he gets really bad grades!

My favorite type of anime quartet apparently consists of:

1. The tallest, goofiest dork with the biggest heart of them all.

2. The one trying to be edgy and cool but is secretly also a dork.

3. The beautiful and graceful one (who can also be a dork when they choose to be)

4. The dorky, slightly stupid, but charismatic protagonist who brings them together.

So in other words, they're all dorks in different ways and capacities.
