Hi, anon! Thanks for sending this. Nice question you got there. :)) Yes, I have a favorite squad and that's Ikoma Squad. I really love the vibes within the team. The members are all very likable, especially Ikoma and Oki. Oki is a very calm and collected sniper and I get to appreciate him more on the Selection arc as one of the groupmates of Mikumo. Ikoma is very funny and very unique as a captain. I mean, who talks about nonsensical things right before a rank war? Only this squad and I love them for that. (*˘︶˘*).｡.:*♡ As for the rank war, I definitely looked forward to the 8th and final round being animated and I think Toei did a good job with that. The first reason, Ikoma Squad is there (although they were totally annihilated lol). Second, this round became a huge boost to the improvement of Osamu and Chika. I loved this rank war because it's not Yuuma that became the center of Tamakoma Second's offense to defeat Ninomiya Squad. Osamu really did great in this rank war and so is Chika. Hyuse also did a great job in holding up considering his very unlucky location. He also became Chika's support when she was still hesitating to shoot people. Each member did their role splendidly which lead to a hands-down overall win over other powerful squads. They totally won this rank war because there was no team that underestimated Osamu, especially Ninomiya Squad, and yet they still won. They even went so far as to pretend that Osamu is not a threat to them but too bad, lies don't work on Yuuma. XD Damn, reminiscing the scenes made me want to rewatch that final round. (٥⁀▽⁀ )

Jinyuu + white roses

Jin doesn't actually know what they are himself, but he knows that in hanakotoba, there's a different meaning for every single colour of rose. As he runs his fingers through the weightless cloud of Yuuma's hair, as individual strands drift near-translucent against the backs of his knuckles and fall as soundless and white as snow against Yuuma's nape, he wonders what a white rose might mean. Then again, maybe he doesn't care to find out - maybe for him, 'Yuuma' is the only meaning they'll ever need to have.

Jinyuu + holiday

The breeze coming off of the ocean looks good in Jin's hair, lifting it from his forehead and making it dance in the sunlight. Yuuma likes to rest his cheek against his folded arms and watch it sway, and he likes that when Jin turns to look back to where he's sitting beneath the portico, Yuuma can tell that he's not smiling despite whatever he's seeing in the future. On holidays far from home, with white sand beneath their feet and Jin's broad shoulders baking golden, he can sometimes be convinced to take a break from the worrying, too. 

Jinyuu + clean

Every moment that he's conscious since returning to his flesh, Yuuma is overwhelmed with sensation- as much the burn of incisions struggling to mend as the stuttering caress of fabric, sticking and unsticking as it slides over sweat-tacky skin. He feels filthy in his hospital bed, and his bones and sinew feel wrong all around him, like tattered clothing that he's long since overgrown. It's only months later, when he's back home in Tamakoma, that he finally starts to feel clean again- clean and new under Jin's patient hands.

The difference here is Tachikawa would create this exact string-and-cup thing and Yuuma's would be a more subtle multi-step trap, like first you drink water that he salted and when you become thirsty from it you go for the refrigerator and he's asked Hyuse to set some Escudo to box you in

SKDFJDSK YES getting Hyuse involved would be hilarious because Hyuse would go to Torimaru and be like "have you ever made a thirst trap?" "...what" "Yuuma is making one and he asked me to help out" "........he did?" (hyuse explains what they are doing) "..............Yeah. Yeah he's got that exactly right that's what a thirst trap is, you're doing great"

Katori doesn't know she like-likes Osamu yet but she sure does become oddly fixated on thirst trapping him at the height of the fad Osamu, laying on the ground wrapped up like a mummy in Spider threads while Katori stands over him and laughs, silently thinking 'oh, this is what Kuga meant... it must be popular right now. I can't let people know that I didn't know about it'
