-ok shun leaping onto his monster to save a small child then everyone being like 'omg i cant believe he'd do that..wow…hes not so bad…' LIKE? YOU THOUGHT HE WAS HEARTLESS??? dude cares SO much hes been consistently trying to stop a war and find his sister and stuff??? jkdashkj (also it was just very dramatic and Cool and made me laugh bc he was SO serious and straight faced during the whole thing. nerves of STEEL)

-'i wonder if kurosaki is a lot like crow'….theyre both bird boys. theyre uniting to be bird FRIENDS and FIST BUMPED OVER IT WHY AM I TEARING UP. SHUN LOST WITH A SMILE TOO….im glad theyre friends and birds and birdfriends. even jack smiled over crow winning AAAUGH. STOPPP. too cute. didnt expect this ep to be so WHOLESOME

-the subs said smth like 'youre one of us' when they were through speaking (which is lovely bc they have a solidarity in that they both have causes theyre fighting for) but the more literal translation of what was said was closer to 'you're one of my/our friends now' from crow. Augh. AUGGH. ;_;

my god the sora meeting up with yuzu then their monsters working together (in an ADORABLE dance sequence) was THEE best thing ever like 2 eps in a row have been BANGERS and making me unlock new emotions. I love both of their decks SO much too????

-yuzu declares shes gotta save yuya bc he is, once again, locked up. girl boss protag! …of course tsukikage interrupted and tbh he and sora had Points abt it being better if sora goes and gets yuya since hes…yeah, trained for this kinda stuff but they all trust each other and the whole teacher and student thing with yuzu and sora…god theyre all so CUTE this is EXACtly what I wanted ;__; exactly what i NEEDED.

-yugo v serena started exactly how I expected jdshjk I LOVE how constantly Pissed serena is. shes SO blunt and I love her for it. (but also wARRANTED he got way too clingy fast and im sure thats Weird for her. gotta assume her and yuri werent…like, even acquaintances or anything by way she acts around the yu boys) she did make sure to let yugo know she expected a lot from him from his last duel which was Something. but my god yugo is SO in love with rin isnt he kjdsahkj hes got like that wholesome childhood friends puppy love, the way he imagines her, and its REALLY cute. cannot wait to actually meet rin…

-roget is so damn annoying that everytime he speaks i just hear the adults from the peanuts cartoons so i cant recall, but hes saying smth abt wanting serena to be a symbol for the commons and the tops and im like. he wants her and yuzu so academia cant have them and has his own plans for them, but. does he know WHY academia wants them? im gonna need him to share with the class. I still need to know too

-also its rly annoying that roget is cheesing the duel in serena's favor. but also I'm always rooting for the girls so like. i get it, but if shes gonna win I want it to be on her own merits yk… (rin seems so cute from the flashbacks also, she always WON IN THEIR DUELS?? GIRL IS STRONG IM EVEN MORE EXCITED TO MEET HER)

-yuyas thng where he can astral project (??) himself into his alt selves bodies is creepy and i KNOW its prob not supposed to be but it IS and I Dont Like it. Pls dont Dissolve yugo too like u did with yuto. maybe it only happens to them when theyre not in their dimension. maybe yugo will absorb yuya instead. I DOUBT it since yuya is protag protected but still

-….yugo being like 'no, i LIKE it that when youre in trouble the course changes and u get an action card!! its cool and a good thing!!!" OK FEMINIST KING JHDSKJF. hes great and I love him. (also yeah its not her FAULT roget is trying to give her advantages but id argue having yuya backseating on the duel is also kinda cheesing it for yugo so. theyre EVEN on the unintentional cheating)

-much as I hate to see her lose her attitude makes PERFECT sense given how she was raised in academia. duels are not Games to her, theyre tools, and she hates relying on whats basically handouts from roget to win or dumb luck. perfectly understandable and I appreciate her stubbornness and sense of honor abt it. but gotta agree with yugo that nah girl take the W if u can jkdhsjk. she ofc changes her tune later in the duel but Still

-oh my god yuri is HERE im going to PUKE just seeing his silhouette made me get so hyped up. i dont even KNOW him hes barely had ANY screentime but the way the other characters and even fucking roget hyped him make me like. dude u better be a hammy villain i have HIGH hopes for u. if hes good at being squirrely he WILL be my fav yuya counterpart EASY bc looks wise hes already my fav. pink and purple is unbeatable. but hes just STANDING THERE. MENACINGLY. with his lil bunny hair...tbh kinda cute.

-AWWW serena being like 'why am i getting kind of excited…' girl has had so little Hype in her life and this is def her first time hearing ppl cheer for her im gonna cry. id hype u up bestie ur SO cool and good at dueling….AND SHE GOT TO SAY LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS TIME. and SHE IS ENJOYING HERSELF GOOD FOR HER. I did kinda figure she woulnt win or go all the way (and I assume the same goes for yugo...) but. still very proud of her. and her and yugo had funnnn together ;w; yugo is lowkey befriending ALL the yuzu counterparts isnt he. king shit! love him!

-the way reiji keeps WINNING (also I love how his scarf defies gravity. very cool) roget is SOO mad and I love to see it. he said hes going to KILL REIJI AND THE COUNCIL? NOT DUEL THEM? KILL THEM OUTRIGHT? oh ok roget. sure you will when we have checks episode count at least …2-3 seasons left. sure you'll kill the sort of rival but not exactly character, who leads the lancers. I totallllly believe u ;)

-eeeeugh roget is so creepy 'normally i wouldve wanted to rework his (yuya) brain first but-' blah blah blah do you realize youre talking abt modifying a living person against their will. i mean hes already done it to every cop and sergey. but still. urgh creepy and bad.

-obv I know yuya will win the friendship cup stuff and duel jack. bc protag. but them pitting yuya v crow seems like swinging a bat at the hornets nest (the fandom) by definitively saying one is a better duelist and would win against the other…sjdhfkjn its the reason we dont get protag v protag duels in stuff like bbt n no conclusive winner to the judai v yugi duel i guess hahah. tbf this duel was p much all Thee Demon and not yuya, and fixed at the start so crow didnt do his 100% best on the first turn, and its not as if yuya planned to go thru with it at ALL bc hes got priorities, but ofc I figured thatd get dashed...despite their scheming...ugh. still a bit bummed. hope they have an earnest on screen duel fr before the end...

-I do love yuya and crow PLOTTING TOGETHER. thats great….schemers! also glad the whole 'crow thinks yuya might be working w the tops' shit was short-lived bc I knew crow wouldnt buy that

-the demon said fuck ya friends im winning the duel lmaooo of course its a demon with priorities to duel. classic ygo moment. the other yuboys are completely controlled and copying yuyas movements and their eyes are doing the Thing….ok, so the demons goal is 100% absorb all of them into one like what happened with yuto.. like to get the power of all the dimensions/their dragons all together? ? still like, doesnt explain why they all look the same or how the yuzugirls/bracelets are involved really, but im pretty sure thats the Idea right…starting to think we cant Friendship our way out of this and the demon might end up being. a real problem and not a Potential Bud. (this is a thing every ygo series does tho so. not a total awful thing I cant look past, but it did give me kinda mood whiplash)

I will say its funny (in a horrible way) they took the Cheeriest Setting (heartland) and did this to it. and that gx setting which is also pretty chill (a school setting...) and made them fucking interdimensional warmongers. and 5s, the canonically most gritty setting was Not Involved like until the lancers showed they were the neutral ones hahah

-arc area project!!! we havent gotten a name for leo's lil 'unify the dimensions' scheme yet until now! so…arc is in the name. back to my og theory the name arc v means more than fifth series in the ygos. and like. theres (5) dimensions for Sure right. (or, the unity of the four would be the fifth?) hm. Thinking

-shingo asking the real q of why the hell turning ppl into cards/waging war on xyz would help fuse dimensions. i also still want to know. (we keep seeing the shot of leo feeding the cards into a machine, so..hes using…soul/ppl power? to power it to fuse the dimensions?? dude what good is ruling dimensions if NO ONE is left in them???)

-…a lot of this two parter was flashbacks/recapping stuff. I…kinda appriciate the earlier flashbacks but god it could've went faster.

BIRD TIME

Why I like this character/why I don’t

It’s kinda strange thinking back on why I love Ruri so much, one spring night, like 2 years ago, I was thinking how unfortunate we only know a little bit about Lulu and Rin, I then thought, hey why not expand on the basics we know about them? It was then I started on making some headcanons for em. My brain then started to get really attached to Ruri, by thinking of her more I started to appreciate and care about her more. Thinking of how she probably was, thinking how her bonds were like, before I knew it I went from being neutral on the gal to being one of her biggest fans, hell I even build her deck irl, and when she came to duel links, I almost immediately started studying on how her deck works, and what combos I can pull off.

Deadass she’s also the main reason I love birds so much now, birds are one of my favorite animals and I get excited at the mention of them.

In terms of stuff outside of that, I LOVE her design, both pre and during war fits go so hard. I also love the bits we got to see of the real her. She’s very kind, loves dueling for fun but still a tiny bit competitive, outgoing, has a special interest in birds, and just wants everyone to be happy! :)

What I like about their appearance?

Collegebound, Chapter 7: The Incident

The care package that Yuya’s parents sent him actually arrived later that same day, and Yuya was very excited. He couldn’t wait to watch the home videos. He called up Yuto to come to the dorm to watch the videos with him, Yugo, and Yuri.

Yuto arrived about two minutes after Yuya hung up, his roommate right behind him. “Hey, is it cool if Shun joins us? He wanted to meet you.”

“Of course!” Yuya said cheerfully. “The more the merrier!”

The group gathered in the living room with some popcorn and drinks, and Yuya put the videos on. The first video was one of Yuya’s mother in a hospital bed, cradling a newborn Yuya in her arms. The tiny baby was wearing a cute little red beanie with a green cuff and green pom-pom topper, and appeared to be fast asleep wrapped in an orange baby blanket. Yuya’s mother kissed the tiny Yuya on the forehead. “Mama loves you!”

“Aw!” Yugo cooed. “Tiny baby Yuya!” Yuya blushed and smiled.

The next video showed both baby Yuya and baby Yuto sitting in high chairs together, being spoonfed applesauce by their mothers. Yuri raised an eyebrow, “You guys really have known each other for a long time, haven’t you?”

“Yep,” Yuto said. “We were actually born on the same day, around the same time, and our mothers were both in the same hospital room, so we’ve known each other since birth.”

“Yeah, our moms shared parenting tips and stuff they’d learned while they were recovering,” Yuya said. “And they’ve been friends ever since, too!”

The next video showed tiny toddler Yuya and Yuto playing in a kiddie pool with a girl about their age. The girl had pink pigtails. Shun raised an eyebrow. “Who’s that?”

“Oh, that’s Yuzu,” Yuto said. “She used to be our friend, but… well… the incident happened…”

“What incident?” Yuri asked curiously.

Yuya sighed. “You know how little kids are way too young to start dating, but they still say they have boyfriends or girlfriends?” he said. Yugo, Yuri, and Shun all nodded. “Well, back on the first day of kindergarten when we were five, I gave Yuzu a cookie and asked her to be my girlfriend, and she said okay. We told our parents when they picked us up, and they all thought it was cute, but Yuzu’s dad said we were too young to be dating. We never mentioned the subject again, and honestly I completely forgot about the whole thing by the time the incident happened.”

“Oh, I don’t think I like where this is going…” Shun mumbled.

“So anyways, when we were fourteen, I noticed that Yuzu was starting to act a little weird,” Yuya continued. “She started carrying around a paper fan and would randomly hit me with it, or hit any girl that flirted with me. I didn’t really know why she was doing that, and at that point I had figured out that I was gay, so the thought that she might be jealous didn’t really occur to me.”

“Uh-oh…” Yugo’s eyes widened. Yuto shook his head, “It gets worse…”

“So, fast forward to the third day of high school, Yuto comes up to me at lunch and asks when Yuzu and I started dating,” Yuya sighed. “I was so confused because we weren’t dating, and I asked him where he got that idea from. Turns out Yuzu was telling everyone that we’d been dating for years, and I mean everyone. So I go to Yuzu and ask her why she was telling everyone something that wasn’t true, and she gets upset and says it was true, that we’d been dating since kindergarten, and then I remember that time when we were five. And I tried to tell her that we were five and we were too young to date at the time.”

Yuri grabbed a handful of popcorn, listening to the story with wide eyes.

“Later that evening Yuzu’s dad comes to my house, mad and yelling at me for playing with his daughter’s heart, and how I was a terrible boy and should be ashamed of myself for asking girls to be my girlfriend only to say we weren’t really dating,” Yuya continued. “He yelled at me for three hours before he finally let me speak. And I told him, we were five and that he said it himself at the time that we were too young to date.”

Shun scooted a little closer, thoroughly invested in the story.

“And then he was quiet for a few minutes, and then turns to Yuzu and asks her if she was talking about that time when she said that I asked her to be my girlfriend,” Yuya said. “And Yuzu says yes, we’ve been dating since we were five, and her dad is quiet for a few more minutes before he starts apologizing like crazy to me. And then he took Yuzu home, and the next day at school I tried to talk to her and tell her I still wanted to be her friend, but she wouldn’t talk to me. And by the end of the second week of school, she had moved to a different school. I haven’t heard from her since.”

“Oh my god…” Yugo said. “That’s like… wow.”

“Yeah, and she asked me whose side I was on when I tried to talk to her about it after school the day after the incident,” Yuto sighed. “I told her that it really wasn’t fair of her to expect Yuya to seriously be her boyfriend at fifteen when the one and only time it was even mentioned was when we were all five. She hasn’t spoken to me since either. From what I understand, she switched schools because she felt like the whole school was judging her for the situation.”

“Wooooow,” Yuri drawled. “What kind of person thinks that they’re in a serious relationship with someone for ten years when it’s only mentioned once when they’re five? That’s crazy!”

“I wish our friendship hadn’t ended like that, so suddenly over a misunderstanding, but like I said Yuzu hasn’t spoken to me or Yuto since,” Yuya sighed.

SD headcanon // Shohoku siblings

We've got the Akagi siblings as part of the official Slam Dunk canon, but I like thinking about what the siblings of the other Shohoku players would be like and came up with my own ideas for my headcanon.

For the record, in my SD headcanon universe Ayako and Rukawa don't have siblings.

EDIT (12/7/2022): THE FIRST SD actually addresses some of this!! I won't spoil anything but omg I'm so happy!!

Sakuragi Mei (桜木芽生) // 20 years old (~4 years older than Hanamichi [16])

is attending cosmetology school in a different city, working towards becoming a hairdresser (although she does come back to Kanagawa every once in a while to check on Hanamichi)

she's super pretty and cool, when Akagi meets her he's stunned that SHE'S related to Hanamichi lol

was a sukeban in middle school and high school

being the oldest daughter she takes care of her family a lot, especially because her mother passed away when she and Hanamichi were young and her father passed away when she was in high school

was the first person to dye Hanamichi's hair when he was in 6th grade (at his request)

while she's tried a couple different hair colors for herself in the past, she mostly sticks to blonde

she dotes on Hanamichi a lot and is partially responsible for his behavior by praising him a "tensai" lol (although the "tensai" bit originally come from their grandfather)

however, she can definitely be tough on Hanamichi when she needs to be, so he's a little scared of her lol

Miyagi Suzu* (宮城スズ) // 15 years old (~2 years younger than Ryota [17])

witty and outgoing, and she does look like/resemble Ryota lol

plays on her middle school soccer team and enjoys it, is considering different high school options since they don't have a girl's soccer club at Shohoku

she and Ryota bicker constantly and make fun of each other (all in good, sibling spirit). It also doesn't help that she and Ryota share a bathroom at home.

adores Ayako and always tells Ryota that he doesn't deserve her lol

Miyagi Yuto* ( 宮城ユウト)// would be 20 years old (~3 years older than Ryota [17])

was a super easy going, sweet, and polite kid

also really liked basketball, which he and Ryota bonded over

at around 13 years old he got into an accident, and while his body was never found he's presumed to be deceased (...see "Piercing")

*Since Ryota's name is written in katakana for reasons not known to me, I'm just going to use katakana for the first names of his siblings lol

Mitsui Takeru (三井尊)// 17 years old (~1 year younger than Hisashi [18])

attends school at Kainan, and nobody realizes he's Hisashi's younger brother for a while

he doesn't look that much like Hisashi at first glance, but if you know they're siblings you can see some resemblance. They're both around the same height.

personality-wise he's nearly the polar opposite of Hisashi: he keeps to himself, is a little awkward and cold, and he's really really smart (basically more similar in personality to Akagi), which is why he and Hisashi get on each other's nerves constantly

people who meet him and his brother for the first time presume Hisashi is the younger brother, lol

doesn't play sports

Kogure Masanobu (木暮全延) // 24 years old (~6 years older than Kiminobu [18])

super charming and funny, but a bit insensitive at times

doesn't wear glasses, and is actually shorter than Kiminobu (which he hates, but to make up for it he fancies himself as the "better looking" brother)

played baseball in middle school, but his real passion is music so he didn't do any school clubs in high school (he also went to Shohoku) and instead went to go play with his band

started attending university but decided to drop out after the second year

to earn a living he currently helps out as a studio bass guitarist and drummer for small artists and picks up part-time gigs

can also play piano, (electric and some classical) guitar, and saxophone

was rebellious growing up, so he and his parents (particularly his dad) always had a rift between them. He still feels bad about this because he thinks it contributed to his parents being more strict on Kiminobu.

he and Kiminobu were super close when he lived at home, and they still are even though he and his family live in the Tokyo area now

has a wife and two-year-old daughter

Others

Yasuda comes from a big family: he has 5 other siblings

Shiozaki has two older brothers

Iishi has a little baby sister (she's about 3 years old)

Okay but why DO people in ARC-V think the Yuuboys look exactly the same?

(prepare for a whole-ass essay of rambling about Zarc Shenanigans and Episode 124)

I mean, it happens with the Bracelet Girls too, but in my opinion they do look pretty alike, not necessarily enough to justify all of the mix-ups but at least you can see it.

But the Yuuboys? Maybe it’s just their flamboyant hairstyles and outfits, but to me they look almost completely different. Here, look at this picture:

Yuto and Yuya look somewhat similar, but only when they’re making the same facial expression. However, Yuuri and Yugo look completely different from the others. Yugo’s eyes are a totally different shape, and Yuuri has both different eyes and...eyebrows...

So, why? Why does it happen, time and time again? I was thinking about this and out of the haze of sleepiness and ARC-V vibes spooted a really bad theory that I’m going to mention anyways even though it doesn’t make sense really

Okay so in episode 124 that cool thing happened where Yuto and Yuya actually switched places, putting Yuto in control. But here’s the thing. Right at the end of the episode, we see the evil Doctor guy viewing the Duel on his big screen. But the one on it was not who you might expect...

At this point, Yuto is still in control, shouldn’t he show up? At the very least, Yuya’s eyes should change color like in Episode 104. But nope, neither of those things happen. How could that be...?

Here’s my idea: The visuals from the switch are actually some sort of psychological effect exerted by Zarc’s power, somehow. This would at least partially explain how a few people have been able to sorta see Yuto’s spirit on occasion, or at least get a sense of him being there. So the switch doesn’t show up on video because it’s not really happening the way it looks like it is? I think.

So, if this sorta thing is some sort of psychological effect exerted by Zarc’s power, somehow, then maybe the reason everyone thinks the Yuuboys look the same works a similar way? In a certain sense, they’re all the same person, all with the same power inside. And that causes them to be perceived as way more alike than they would otherwise. Basically: They all have the same Zarc Vibes.

listen i know there’s no direct evidence for it but this stuff doesn’t really make sense without some sorta theory and this is what i’ve got

“Myungho!” Hayun called out from her spot on the couch and waited for a few seconds before screaming again “Minghao! The8! Whatever name you respond to”

“I’m here woman, calm down” The boy rolled his eyes as she extended her arms to give him her notebook. Minghao took it without a second glance and sat on the floor next to her to read the sentences she had written since he had last left her. “Nice job”

“Do you have any pointers to give me?” She smiled paddling her feet on the couch and he gave her back the notebook.

“Your calligraphy still sucks” He snickered making her chuckle “But I told you that the last three times you called me”

“Yeah, you did,” Hayun twisted her pen, looking from her laptop to the pages before noticing the boy hadn’t left like the previous times “What?”

“Why the sudden interest in Chinese?” He blatantly said, making her close her notebook and shrug her shoulders.

“I needed something to distract me and turns out it’s very easy to get a language certificate through the internet,” The girl said without a break, smiling triumphantly at the end which made him giggle at her proud face. “I might need you to help me revise some stuff though”

“I don’t have much time before I need to go back to pledis so write down your questions and I’ll help you when I get back” He patted her arm and got up from the floor.

“Yeah, go ahead and leave me like everyone else” Hayun threw her head back dramatically making him look at her sassily.

“You do know we’re making you richer right?”

“Yes. And you know that I like to communicate with people” She raised a finger and poked his chest “And I can’t do that if someone is not around to teach me their mother tongue”

“Isn’t three languages enough for you?”

“I want to be one of those smug polyglots. Once you’re done with me I’ll call Yuto to help me with Japanese. There’s this idol who can speak German I think, I’ll talk to him too” She joked with a wink and Minghao shook his head laughing.

Mingyu

Mingyu pushed the door with his elbow and set the tray of food on Hayun’s nightstand. Pushing her arm until she woke up from, what he assumed, her nap.

“What?” She groaned holding his hand and turning away from him.

“I made you food” Mingyu chanted sitting on the bad and moving the platter to his lap

“Is it pizza?” She asked, burying her face in the pillow.

“No?”

“Then I don’t want it”

“Noona, you have to in order to get better soon” The boy rolled his eyes poking her side and she groaned again.

“Is it ramen?”

“No” He answered, expecting her to at least sit up to see what it was. In reality, Hayun stayed still in her spot, pretending to fall asleep again and have him go away. Huffing, Minngyu poked her again “I tried a new recipe, you need to help me see if it’s tasty or not”

Raising her head like he expected, she checked what he had brought and whined while sitting properly.

“You made soup” The girl pouted making him laugh. “I want something greasy”

“You can’t have anything greasy for now” Mingyu shook his head and brought the spoon out of the bowl, leaning forward to feed her a little “Say ahh”

Shutting her mouth, Hayun shook her head making him groan and retreat the spoon annoyed. Smiling mischievously, she opened her mouth again and as the boy took the bowl out of his lap she instantly closed it.

“Can you be a little cooperative?” Mingyu complained laughing and she shrugged, allowing him to properly feed her a spoonful. “How is it?”

Making a disgusted face, Hayun quickly changed it to a pondering one and then smiled satisfied.

“Not bad, Chef Gyu”

“Not bad” He repeated her in English making her laugh and nod.

“Next time, maybe add a little more spice”

“A package arrived for you” Seokmin sang while walking inside Hayun’s room and she shot up from her bed “Wait, calm down. We don’t need your stitches to rip open”

“I’m taking them off tomorrow” She rolled her eyes taking the package from him. As he was walking away she waved him inside, shaking the big box with a smile “Stay, you’re going to like what I ordered”

“Ohh, what is it?” He sat along with her on her bed and helped her rip open the cardboard.

“I ordered a hammock” Hayun smiled satisfied as she made her way to the fabric “I’m going to hang it in my room and chill in it”

“Cool,” Dokyeom got up, holding an end of the object and spreading it out so they could get a perfect view “How are you going to hang it?”

“Uh?” The girl blinked, her smile turning to a frown as she looked at him.

“The hammock. You’re going to need a place to hang it”

“Oh. True” She sighed and let go of her end, throwing her body back on the bed and repressing a very mild discomfort. “I didn’t think about that”

“I guess we’re going to need a drill or something professional like that” The boy kept muttering, walking around her room while looking at the walls and dragging the hammock along the floor.

“There must be a tutorial somewhere on the internet. I’ll look for it later” She sighed carefully pulling herself upwards. “Or you know… my very strong groupmates can hold it up while I lay in it”

“Ah, I think you got the wrong person” DK shook his head grinning and she leaned her head forward doing the same movement.

“No, I don’t. C’mon, Seokmin-ah. Do a favor for your sick Noona” She smirked, making him tumble laughing.

“Wow, just a minute ago there was nothing wrong with you” He managed to say in between laughs and she grinned, leaning on her side and shrugging calmly.

Seungkwan

“Are you going to hold my hand?” Hayun asked Sengkwan as soon as they made it to the hospital, the boy rolling his eyes with a big exhale before taking her hand in his and making her laugh “I meant when they take out the stitches dummy”

“Of course I knew that” He scoffed, throwing her hand away. In revenge, Hayun looped her arm around his waist and forcefully made him hug her shoulder as they walked together. Whining, Seungkwan said under his breath “Noona, not here”

“There’s no one in the hallway, stop pouting” Hayun giggled gently slapping his butt, which caused him to widen his eyes and look around to see if she was telling the truth.

“Aren’t you a little bit worried?”

“Not really. I’ve had stitches before” She shrugged as they walked inside a room and sat on a waiting list. “But in all seriousness, I do want you to hold my hand while they do it”

“Why?” He whined again resting his head on her shoulder. “You said you weren’t scared”

“That doesn’t mean I don’t want some support”

“Okay then” He sighed and they stayed in silence for a few seconds before Seungkwan turned to her serious “You’re probably not going to like hearing this”

“Oh my, what did you do?”

“Nothing. I just feel bad” The boy took her hand again and looked down ashamed “I kind of feel better about not doing the entire performance after you had to step out”

“What?” Hayun frowned and he shook his head, realizing how that sounded.

“I’m not glad that you had to take a break. The members know I complain about wanting you with us all the time” He smiled gently making her chuckle “It just made me realize how lucky I am that I didn’t have to sit out everything”

“Strangely enough I don’t feel attacked at all” Hayun laughed patting his head and gesturing for him to rest on her shoulder again “I’m glad you didn’t have to either Boo. Please keep taking better care of yourself”

Vernon

“Is that my sister?” Vernon frowned, leaning down over the back of the couch to check out Hayun’s phone.

“Oopsies, gotta go,” Sofia said over facetime and instantly hung up the call, making the boy frown at his own reflection on the black screen.

“You were facetiming my sister?” He looked at Hayun confused and walked around to sit next to her.

“Yeah actually. I do talk fairly often with your mom too.” She quirked up an eyebrow and crossed her arms “You better step up your technology game because I’m stealing your family”

“What?” He chuckled, leaning back and taking her phone to check the latest calls, laughing harder when he realized she was telling the truth.

“I mean it, boy. Your mom said she’s getting me a Christmas stocking this year”

“Well, you’re going to be a great addition to the family” Vernon snickered not knowing if she was being honest or not.

“I’m aware”

“Are you going to do something right now?” He asked side-eyeing her and she shook her head “Good. I’m going to need you to help me out with something I composed”

“You know. Technically I’m still on my work hiatus” She smirked poking his side and Vernon snorted. “But, we are at home after all so I don’t think that’s a problem”

“I know, that’s why I asked” He laughed and opened an app on his phone.

Dino

“You’re not supposed to be here,” Hayun said as soon as she heard Dino entering the room backstage.

“You came!” The boy beamed running to hug her and she replied with a giggle rubbing his back.

“I wanted to surprise you guys after the last stage” She smiled and shrugged looking to see if anyone else was around “Please don’t tell the others”

“Okay. Oh my, I saw you this morning but I can’t believe you are here” The boy chuckled making her pat his cheek.

“Why did you come back?” Hayun asked frowning “You’re supposed to be on stage in two minutes”

“I left my phone inside my pocket again” Chan giggled embarrassed and took the device, setting it on the table. “Aren’t you going to be lonely while we’re gone”

“Nah. I’ll look around to see if there’s anyone bored too”

“You were supposed to say ‘watching you is enough for me’” Dino made an annoyed face and both of them started laughing.

“I’ll look around after watching the performance, don’t worry” She rolled her eyes and held his hand “Talking about it. If you guys come back and I’m not here text me. I either lost track of time or one of the managers sent me home”

“The managers don’t know you’re here?” He said amused “How did you even come? You’re driving already?”

“I took a cab. But now that you said, I can drive again. I don’t know why I didn’t do that”

“Okay, Noona” Dino laughed stealing a look at the clock “I have to go, please don’t wander around too much”

“Good luck with the performance!” Hayun smiled sending him a flying kiss before he bolted off the room.

You'd better fucking BELIEVE we have a plot set up, I have poured so much effort into the Pokemon au

Okay, so: when it comes to teams, I decided that everyone should have at least one legendary Pokemon in their party as a way to be faithful to the ace monster concept, but it wasn’t until much later into the au that I realized I’d failed to do that with Sora’s team, which led to a very fun plot point involving his secret 7th Pokemon he keeps in his box

Teams under the cut because it’s gonna be a long one, boys

Yuya has: Groudon, Sandshrew, Popplio, Hippopotas, Aipom, and Ekans

In his box, he’s got Phanphy, Charmander, Politoad, Ducklett, Liepard, Skorupi, and Lycanroc (Midnight form)

I wanted him to have as many Pokemon as he could that reminded me of the monsters in his deck, and since Yuya is a coordinator in this au instead of a regular trainer, it just felt right that he’d have a lot of different partners he could swap out for various contests

Also I’m mad that there isn’t a legendary dragon that looks like Odd Eyes, so I had to give Yuya Groudon instead, making him the only Yu boy in this au to not have a legendary dragon type Pokemon

Yuto has: Eternatus, Bisharp, Aegislash, Aggron, Lucario, and Shadow Rider Calyrex

Okay listen, I know I was supposed to only give everyone One legendary Pokemon, but with Calyrex I feel justified because it looks So Much like it could be one of Yuto’s Phantom Knights, I mean

Yuto gets to have two legendaries to make up for Arc-V killing him off so early into the show

Aside from this guy, the rest of Yuto’s team just felt like it should be comprised of steel types ow the edge so that’s what I gave him. His Pokemon are as edgy as he tries to appear to be and that is enough to amuse me.

There also weren’t exactly many good Pokemon equivalents of his archetype, so I made do with what I had.

Yugo has: Latios, Scizor, Claydol, Porygon 2, Ponyta (Shiny), and Sudowoodo

Yugo was honestly so hard to come up with a team for because all his Speedroid cards are just like... toys and stuff for the most part, so I agonized over what I should pick for him for a Long time. In the end, I feel like I got close enough to his general aesthetic with the Pokemon I picked.

(His Ponyta is there because of Speedroid Horse Stilts, and while it is a shiny, the dumbass has no idea about it, and thinks he just happened to get a special blue horse that was born a little differently- he never claimed to be smart.)

He also deadass thought Sudowoodo was a grass type for the longest time. Rin had to be the one to tell him it wasn’t.

“Yugo. Sudowoodo? It sounds like pseudo? As in fake wood?”

“Ohhhhh is that what its name means? Wow Rin you’re so smart.”

No Yugo you’re just exceptionally stupid.

Yuri has: Naganadel, Seviper, Victreebel, Toxicroak, Vileplume, and Roserade

For the most toxic of battlers, I felt it only necessary to give Yuri an all poison type team. I included an even mix of plants in there to tie into his Predaplant deck, Seviper for the snake eye vibes, and Toxicroak... just feels right, you know. I couldn’t find any other poison plant themed Pokemon that seemed like they’d fit his vibe, so he gets a poison frog instead.

Yuzu has: Meloetta, Sylveon, Meowstic (Female), Gardevoir, Florges, and Jigglypuff

I tried to stick with Pokemon that had very feminine vibes for Yuzu, since her deck is comprised of pretty singing ladies, so Meloetta and Jigglypuff in particular feel very fitting in that regard.

Serena has: Cresselia, Delcatty, Glameow, Lopunny, Persian, and Pyroar (Female)

The moon vibes with Cresselia felt perfect for Serena, and as for the rest of her team, all cats and a bunny to pay homage to her Lunalight deck ^^

Rin has: Celesteela, Mismagius, Hatterene, Glaceon, Froslass, and Chimecho

Her team vibes with the witch part of her Wind Witch deck, at least for Mismagius and Hatterene. Glaceon, Froslass, and Chimecho are there due to the etymology of her name, where possible meanings of it include “cold” and “bell”, which I thought was pretty cool, no pun intended.

Ruri has: Galarian Articuno, Pidgeot, Noctowl, Chatot, Altaria, and Unfezant (Male)

Some softer birds for the soft bird girl, for the most part. I liked the thought of her team being all birds like her Lyriluscs, and just... yeah. They’re all very friendly birds that Ruri’s bonded pretty closely with. Also I made sure she had Galarian Articuno for no reason other than it is purple like her, and I think that’s all the reason I need.

Gong has: Kartana, Machoke, Samurott, Golisopod, Hariyama, and Conkeldurr

Gong was really easy to assign a team to- just had to find as many samurai themed Pokemon as possible, and fill in the rest with really strong fighting types, like Machoke, Hariyama, and Conkeldurr.

Shingo has: Type: Null, Dusclops, Misdreavus, Spiritomb, Decidueye, and Cramorant

With Shingo, I tried to go for Pokemon that had the same vibes as some of his Abyss Actors, and I think Dusclops is the best example of this. Tbh I am very proud of giving him a Type: Null because Type: Null is an amalgamation of other Pokemon, something that was created in a lab to be a fighting machine. There’s nothing natural about Type: Null, and it’s kind of terrifying to Yuya specifically, who’s always viewed Pokemon as creatures to befriend. This experiment created purely to kill... unnerves him, and serves as a very good foil to his beliefs when it comes to Pokemon.

On a sillier note, I chose Cramorant purely because of this quote from its bulbapedia page: “Cramorant are also rather unintelligent as they can't remember which Pokémon they fight in mid battle, but never forget Trainers that they trust. However, they try to attack their Trainers if they steal food from them.”

I just thought the idea of Shingo having this dumb bird that occasionally pecks at him over food would be funny tbh, gotta dunk on the rival at least a little bit.

Sora has: Banette, Vanillish, Swirlix, Stufful, Litleo, and Buneary

In his box, he has a Guzzlord

I feel like Sora’s team is very straightforward, as it’s a mix of sweets themed Pokemon, and Pokemon that represent monsters in his deck- Stufful for Flufflal Bear, Litleo for Fluffal Leo, and Buneary for Fluffal Rabbit. Guzzlord... is relevant later on in the plot after shit goes down, that’s all I’ll say for now.

Masumi has: Diancie, Sableye, Corsola, Aurorus, Tyranitar, and Lycanroc (Dusk form)

Gem Knight girl deserved to have a bunch of good rock type Pokemon, and Diancie is like. The best possible legendary I could have given someone like her lol, the crystal aesthetic is just perfect for her. Not much to say here honestly, I just really vibed with these specific rock types and thought they’d make a good team for her.

Yaiba has: Zeraora, Kecleon, Pangoro, Scyther, Purugly, and Stantler

So I actually threw this list together just now because I realized Masumi was the only member of her trio to have a full team, and that just wasn’t right. I tried to base this team off the XX-Sabers as well I could, but it was a little hard with how many humanoid cards Yaiba has. With his legendary, I actually chose it based off this monster right here!

I think they’ve got similar enough vibes aesthetically for Zeraora to fit him. Scyther is based on Emmersblade, Kecleon on Ragigura, Stantler on Garsem, Purugly on Gardestrike, and Pangoro... Honestly, it just makes me think of Yaiba himself when I look at him. I think they’d get along well.

Hokuto has: Deoxys, Espeon, Grumpig, Starmie, Lunatone, and Malamar

Psychic type Pokemon just sort of felt right for him to have, considering that his deck is based on constellations and has an overall space theme to it. Not sure why that translates over to psychic in my brain, but you know what, it looks right, I love this team for him, and I’m not gonna question it.

I especially think Deoxys makes a good legendary for him considering it is literally a space alien, and Hokuto’s whole thing is space, so yeah, he gets to have the space alien.

Shun has: Galarian Moltres, Skarmory, Fearow, Dodrio, Staraptor, and Talonflame

Pretty straightforward team I feel- it’s all birds of prey for the Raid Raptor boy, and I just thought the Galarian version of Moltres was neat. Makes me think of his Blaze Falcon since they’re both black and red.

Dennis has: Hoopa, Mr. Mime, Delphox, Zoroark, Alakazam, and Hawlucha

Hoopa seemed like a very good legendary for Dennis to have, given his deck archetype and all, he just kind of looks like a little circus dude. Its unbound form makes me think about the swap Dennis has when it gets revealed that he’s actually been a double agent the whole time, and the play gloves finally come off.

The rest of his team... I feel like they speak for themselves. I tried to give him Pokemon that matched up with his deck archetype, so there’s Delphox to rep the fire themed monsters, Mr. Mime because it just fits Dennis’ general personality- and I love the thought of those two being friends and just copying each other’s theatric poses. Chaotic dynamic duo.

(Also: Zoroark's ability letting it disguise itself as another Pokemon is just another parallel to Dennis pretending to be one of the good guys at first, and I love it)

Shinji has: Buzzwole, Beedrill, Vespiquen, Ribombee, Kricketune, and Leavanny

I tried to give the bee man all the bees I could, but there are only so many bee Pokemon out there 😔 I knew the rest of his team had to be insect types to make up for it, so I picked Kricketune because he is just... a friend... a musical buddy who definitely gets along well with the kids. Leavanny is just a bug mom who also helps patch up the kids’ clothing when they get tears in them, which I just love the idea of. Sweet bug mom whose dex entry talks about how they sew for other Pokemon looks after her trainer’s kids when she’s not battling.

Crow has: Murkrow, Braviary, Starly, Swellow, Pikipek, and Corviknight

Bunch of birds for my Blackwing user... This team was partially picked out by June, and it was mostly meant for the Other Pokemon au, but I don’t really see a reason to change his team here. Crow is the one person without a legendary on his team, which makes me sad, but there really isn’t a legendary bird out there that fits his vibes, so as much as I wanna give him a legendary, he will have to make do without one. Sorry Crow.

Hoo... that’s finally all the teams down. Now I can talk about the plot! So, as I briefly mentioned in a previous post (I think), this particular au is inspired by Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum! It’s the era where contests really became a big thing, which is perfect for a lot of these characters because it’s easy to translate dueltaining over to coordinating in this world. Much like in canon, Yuya aspires to be as great a coordinator as his dad was, and strives to entertain people the way Yusho could. He’s not much for battling, and far prefers getting to show off his Pokemon’s talents in contests than anything.

Academia is going to play the role of Team Galactic in this au, which is incredibly fitting with their mission in canon: to remake the universe in their leader’s image. In this case, with Leo Akaba taking on the role of Cyrus, his intent is, presumably, to either destroy the universe that took his daughter from him, or create a new one where she can live once again, no matter the cost.

Sora being a key member in Team Galactic is a very big part of the plot in this au: his mission was to capture one of the lake legendaries, Uxie, since Leo needed all three of them for his plan to remake the universe, but things don’t exactly go well for him, and he ends up losing his battle against Uxie, resulting in all of his memories being locked away, and essentially making him a blank slate.

Side note: the Galactic grunt haircut reminds me a lot of Sora, I mean just look at it

Practically same bangs as him, just add an upturned ponytail and you’ve got my son.

This post is getting very long... but I will add one last plot related thing to it before I go: Uxie can erase memories, Mesprit can erase emotions, and Azelf can erase willpower. All three of these lake legendaries play a very important role in the plot, due to being the keys to Leo Akaba’s plans to remake the universe. Sora was touched by Uxie, effectively doing away with all memory he has of being in Team Galactic. Yuya ends up touched by Mesprit in an attempt to save them, and subsequently loses his emotions as a result. Riley?

Riley had been affected by all three of them before the plot began, which is why she is the way she’d been in Arc-V: Emotionless, unable to remember anything about her past except for those brief, fleeting flashes of memory when put into certain situations she’d experienced before, and without any will of her own. She’s so dependent on her older brother because she quite literally has no clue what to do with herself without being told to, and needs orders to function.

Another OFFICE AU aka CEO AU

A/n : Alas its not draft clearing but a brand new work for 2021 (but i still have some drafts as well)XD Hello, did any of you remember an idea dump I dropped for last year Christmas? you could easily guess which was it by tallying the mood board with the idea lists (*winks)

Setting :

1. OFFICE AU 2 , it is a brand new one where ONF member is a young CEO while you are his secretary. So I will name this one as CEO AU

Of course it does not hurt should you wanna imagine it as the already exist office au, using the idea dump posted for 2020 Christmas.

2. ONF MEMBER that I will integrate would be Hyojin and Seungjun as mentioned during the Christmas post, but I wont stop you for imagining other members, thats why in headcanons I will use ONF MEMBER instead their names. (For member X reader scenario)

3. In this headcanon, reader is slightly older than ONF member, maybe 2 or 3 years older. Same age is plausible, then it would be ONF member continued their studies further so they started working late.

ok lets go, beware its long and sorry if it is messy I tried my best to control 2 way storyline, I had fun writing but I know I am lacking much much more than I could notice. total 6k word count (dies)

• You work as assistant/secretary for the head of department/CEO in company before the young successor joins and his predecessor retires. • Because you tend to separate work life and private life, you established personality to look like ice queen on the outside (reality) but actually passionate carer on the inside (virtually). None of your colleagues knew, only your close friends • You have been using a chat app (not tinder type) for since you started intern, • 1. That app's specialty was anonymous. • 2. Its like a hideout spot where you can share and post whatever you love. (Because there are some co-workers added your FB or Insta and you felt it is a hassle to create another fake account exclusively to add people) • 3. Even though you tried and failed at 1 or 2 virtual relationships with other users, you never despise the thought of online dating. But you do know it’s not realistic so you never take it too seriously (it is also self-protection) • You would post some photos but mostly are just lunch pics, occasionally an outdoor view from your office floor, also some cute stationaries or accessories found on the way back home. (Just adding this trivia for fun linking the universe, maybe you pass by Minkyun’s flower shop as well?) • (It will be funny if your contents was more on sharing random idol pics that you follow, passionately promoting it hence creating a more impact contrast later when revealing) • One day you came across a post asking about what kind of cologne to buy for a predecessor who will be retiring. Being a good Samaritan, you leave a few suggestions under the post and did not really take it to heart, you forgot about it once you see the original author replied "Thanks" • Not knowing that 1 interaction would change your life forever.

1-2 • The next day, your superior announced his retirement and mentioned a young successor will join the company next month. And ONF member being the young successor does make rumors flying around the company, making people questioning his ability as he is related to company board of directors. The department you are in is under top 5 sales/profit bringing, so with a young successor would be inexperienced which might lead to drop of department reputation of course people are going to worry and gossip. • First impression with ONF member is actually ok. Well dressed, good looking and nice manners. The moment he followed his predecessor walks into the office floor, girls starts to make all sorts of gasping noises (lol) • Your superior mentioned that he bought a retirement gift for your superior deep down you approved at the selection of the cologne brand. • You might goes, this guy got sense, not bad. • One night after several days ONF member joined the department/company, you received a PM from a user, thanking you for the cologne recommendation. It took you a while to remember who it was. You politely replied him “You are welcome.” • The user also nonchalantly asked about how you can make such suggestion that pinpoints because by the glance at your profile, first impression could be very much misleading. • You just replied that you happened to know someone at that age who likes that type of scent hence the list of suggestions, what you did was just you taking the liberty to do a lucky guess. • Out of curiosity, you tap at the stranger’s avatar to get a glimpse of his profile, but out of your disappointment, there were no picture of his to know what he looks like. But there are pictures of scenery from places he travelled. • You also noticed that their “joined the app” days are way lesser than you are, quite a new user. • You found a few pictures of places you went before/ places that you want to go. Delighted, you started the conversation asking if he likes travelling and his next travel plans. • The other party replied briefly his plans and his experience during travels, from his words you know that he won’t be travelling overseas for the next 2 years as he had a new job and responsibility to learn. Instead he will be focusing on doing domestic travels. • His words made you reminisce your rookie days and you responded him that you understand him with empathy. You did not pry further but you do give him some encouragement, telling him that things will get better and once he got the hang of it, he will have more time on his own. (Yup at the moment you are thinking he is a freshman or newbie joining new company) • You timidly ask your new chat friend why they decided to join and use the app. He replied, “I don’t really play social media apps and I don’t want anyone to find me online, the anonymous system this app provides mental security for me.” • The reply was so different from those who are playing the app just for flirting and finding a quick date, you replied him, “Same as you.” • The conversation ends by the other party mentions he will need to be early for work and politely wishes you good night. The next morning you found the stranger has added you as friend, without any thoughts you tap on your screen and now you have a new mutual.

1-3 • Back to office, as ONF member is still new towards his scope of work, you would sometimes giving him advise and guides by sharing “What would his predecessor does.” or “What he can do by not violating company policy”. He takes advises well and would always inquire for your suggestion before making any critical decision. • Once he started to get the hang of it, you passed the torch of freedom to him because you are only a secretary/assistant. But he will still come to you, which you felt he was being dependent. (I feel if it is Minkyun, he will be more dependent should the scope of work is totally unfamiliar to him. Tendency of dependent to independent would be Seungjun, Hyojin, Yuto same par as Jaeyoung, Changyoon then Minkyun.) • (Of course sometimes there are some doubt raised regarding to policies and because he sees things in another perspective, you know he meant no harm but sometimes you wish he would just shut up and just follow the policy just for convenience sake+lessen damage. That’s because should any dissatisfaction of decision happens, colleagues will firstly come to interrogate you, hoping you to twist his decision or questioning your ability to lessen the damage done towards merit they/the department holds. AND YOU HATE PLAYING THOSE POWER MIND GAMES, even though the image you impose looked like you are skilled player.) • So there is some sense that being strict is you are trying hard to protect him and protecting yourself. • BTW ONF member, your new superior has a bright personality unlike his predecessor (huge reason is due to the age factor), even though inexperienced in work, he has good be friending skills. So people in the department felt it was less stressful working under him because he would do small talk with his underlings. (This hc is not suitable for Changyoon and Yuto during the beginning, due to their personality they would try but not suddenly initiating small talks on the first week joining.) • IT WILL BE FUNNY IF SOME FEMALE COLLEAGUE TOOK PITY ON HIM BY MENTIONING/GOSSIPING THAT YOU ARE TOO STRICT AGAINST HIM • Its not that you hate him or he does not have the ability to do his work, it’s just when he is standing on the opposing side against company policy it troubles you. • Every time when things like this happens, you would low-key complains by posting status on the chat app, mentioning you don’t hope for an understanding but you would hope those who are not in your shoes would shut up. Your mutuals mostly are office workers as well so resonates with your words. • Your new friend leaves a comment underneath the post you asking if you are doing alright, and hope you do not stress yourself too much. You thanked him for the mental support. • He will even PM you asking if you are doing alright, most of the time you don’t want to lose your cool plus you don’t think it is wise to abruptly rant towards a stranger as if they are emotional sandbag, so you will politely thank him and say that you are alright now. • Since you and your new friend work on the day, you two chat during the night and weekend, getting to know each other in a very casual pace. A bit of child hood and you both also shared your majors in studies. He told you that he used to study at overseas and he picked up hobby of travelling around a bit during those days. • You never turn on the app during lunch (to avoid people finding out) but your new friend does send you some messages during lunchtime. • As you and the new friend get to know each other, there has a few things in common, you two like talking about travels and you two read works by the same author • By the way the new friend is a he. You two are using ID names the whole time during chatting, because you have told him that you are not comfortable giving and knowing each other’s real name. He understands and respects that. • And you confirmed that he is slightly younger than you. Which you replied to him, “Oh my superior is same age as you.” • This new friend gives you a calm and mature vibe even though he is same age as your new superior. You could not help yourself but comparing. • The other party goes: “Wow, he must be a very successfully accomplished youngster.” • You go: “Nah, other than his outgoing personality that brings freshness to the department, he still got lots to learn.” • Your new friend then continues, “Your new superior is a lucky one, I can confidently say that because I have an excellent senior who would always look out for me.” • You respond, “Then you better treat them well.” • And he goes “Of course.”

• Work is as usual, possible you unintentionally eavesdropping and caught ONF member saying towards you (even better backing you up when some junior colleagues are reverse gossiping about you) : You know, Y/N might look cold and stern sometimes but actually a kind and gentle person. Y/N would always give out advice for the sake of the department/ company. • Cues you would fluster a bit by those words. • A few days later you are done briefing your superior their schedule. And ONF member suddenly ask if you are free for dinner. It’s already his 4th month in the company and wanted to properly thank you for guiding him with patience and prudence. • At first you wanted to decline him because you don’t want to deal with work related stuff after office hours, ALSO you don’t want anyone to start weird gossips. • Another reason is you don’t want to talk about yourself too much in front of your superior. Heck you even avoid your colleague’s invitations for dinner because you value your “me time” very much. • But looking at his anticipating face, you got soft and agreed that a coffee would suffice. ONF member smiles at you suggest both of you to have coffee right now at Starbucks next to your company building. You are free to choose whatever drink you like. • Before both of you leave the room. And then you heard a familiar notification sound, you thought your heart is going to stop, that is the notification sound from the chat app you are using. You did not have your phone with you so it was obvious the sound comes from ONF member’s phone. • And that was a notification alert of the system has found someone nearby and presented to the user. It got you curious and worried at the same time. • At Starbucks, ONF member had to answer a call, so you ordered his drink as well. • Later you see him start replying messages while waiting for orders to be done. You wanted to have a peek at his user name but you are a few steps away and your instinct told you better don’t do that. What if it is already someone you already know? • “Curiosity killed the cat, remember?” You tell yourself. • Once you are at your desk, you took some deep breath to calm yourself and try to remember if you recalled wrongly but truth is you are accurate. You hurriedly checked you phone, there were no new messages and you are sure you have turned off location visibility. Lucky for you it was never turned on to begin with. • You also kind of worried if your superior actually has a “fun” lifestyle after office hours. But, it’s hard to relate him to a playboy image when he looked like a friendly good boy. You shake your head and deny yourself. • “If (ONF member name) uses that app then I will need to be more careful.” you thought while sipping the frappe. So back at home, you started to alter all posts’ visibility to “Visible for mutuals only”. Took you nearly a whole night but better safe than sorry.

1-5 • More weeks pass by peacefully but one day a conflict happened between you and ONF member and some colleagues/minor members of the board. He went ahead to announce that he decides (had a thought) to run a campaign/new rule (maybe a budget cut). The moment he finished his sentences, you know the seniors will not be happy with it. • Later after meeting, you politely confront with ONF member that he should discuss with you before announcing it on meeting. Plus, announcing without any advance preparation will put him and you in an awkward position as verbal announcement are not persuasive enough. Of course you are also worried that people might use this issue to tackle and exploit the cons of both of you being inexperience and young. • “With all due my respect, Mr.(ONF member name), it will be nice if you could discuss with me before dropping that bomb at the meeting.” you try not to sound fierce but your tone clearly does not sound you are cool with his actions at all. • “And later having you lecture me and stop me? You do know it was for the good of the company too right?” He retorts like usual • “Yes but no.” you try to fight back. “ It’s not that easy, there are people need to be dealt with and I don’t think you--” • Before you could finish, ONF member says with an eyebrow raised, “You don’t think I can handle it, because I am still unexperienced.” • You unconsciously frown and thinking, why is he suddenly trying to pick a fight deliberately today? Why is he suddenly trying to piss off seniors in the department/company? • ONF member then with firm tone, gives you suggestion, “Should you have anyone come to you and complain, tell them that you knew nothing at all and request them to talk to me directly instead.” • “I am the CEO, not you.” He adds. • You could not help but sigh, knowing there is not point arguing because he is not going to back down. And deep down you do know the new rule/budget cut will do more merit than harm. (Your focus is more on how deal with seniors employees not him for now because seniors are more pain in the ass compared to him) • But still there are people come to you and bug you while you are working and you can’t tell them to leave you alone hence it stresses you out. • You escape to the bathroom taking your phone with you and vents out at the app by posting a status mentioning you are just trying to do your job and wants a peaceful work days. • You also come across seeing your new friend posting a status prior your meeting time, it’s a photo of frappe you recommended him to try it out. He is thanking you for recommending it. • You could not help but feeling a bit jealous, should your title and work scopes are different/ should you are just normal employee rather than a CEO’s secretary, you might not need to face these kind of stress. • “Guess you have to bear what you signed up for huh?” you thought to yourself after 15 minutes cooling yourself down. • You switched your mind set and step out from bathroom. Returning to your place with your usual ice cold face. You are trying hard not to show that you are weak against stress. You are too immersed at people coming at you asking you questions, without knowing ONF member actually observing you with concerned gaze from his room. • That night, you receive a PM from your new friend asking if you are doing ok, as you never sound that upset before. He said he can lent an ear so you can tell him what happened. You spare him all the intricate details and tell him briefly that your superior made a mess and you need to clean it up also back his plan no matter you like it or not. • The whole progress he did not interrupt you nor tried to tell you what you should do, he let you type all the way until you finished. Once you are done, you asked, “I don’t know what might be up in his sleeves that it’s inconvenient for me to know beforehand but... Isn’t he a jerk, putting me into an awkward situation?” • Your friend backs you up and agrees with you that matters should be discussed, and critiques your superior actually could trust you more. • You thanked your friend for letting you to rant and mentioned you have accepted the fate because of the title and responsibility you hold in the company. That’s being professional and mature in office. • The other party replied that even if that is the case, he hope you don’t stresses yourself too much as it seems your new superior still needs your guidance and support. • You playfully replies, “Well I am not his babysitter XD, he will need to face a lot of issues by his own someday.” • “Why is that?” • “Well I can’t always be by his side though? I might get married and resign.” you reveal your future plans to your new friend, “Moreover, even I don’t resign, I might take pregnancy leave though?” • The other party comments, “I never thought you had that planned out.” • And he continues, “Your profile gives out the ‘I love my job so much.’ vibe” • You then back up your point by saying you do want that plan to work but too bad you are single now, so of course you are going to focus on your job more. Plus, you do not plan to find a partner in work place anyways. • The new friend leaves more supportive words and hoping it will cheer you up. By the end of the conversation, he also offers that you can come to him and rant should you need an ear. • You grin at his words and felt warm towards his actions. Rarely any of your mutual actually PM to check up on you. “Maybe he was just being nice.” you thought before you wish him good night.

1-6 • The next day, you are being summoned by your superior the first thing in the morning. He passes you a pile of documents and requests you to go through it. It a proposal regarding to the budget cut/new rule and he hope you can be his ally. His gaze is not as firm as yesterday, but it’s more of seeking approval and acknowledgement from you. • You let out a sigh and mutters, “You know, should you have hand this to me beforehand the situation won’t be that ugly.” And then you start to flip the pages. • “Sorry.” He apologizes. “But I really want to make it work. It’s also a handover work by my predecessor.” • “You look up upon him too much, ONF member, he is a sly fox just like the other seniors.” You do not mean to back stab but you are telling the truth. “Has it never come to your mind why he did not initiate the plan when he is here and requested you to initiate it when he is gone?” • “I know. But this move is going to benefit the company; I am willing to bear responsibility.” ONF member adds • You stop reading and look at your superior in the eye, “You better hope this work though, I don’t want my 5 months effort of guiding you goes to waste. And I hate the idea that I need to re- adjust my pace with a new superior.” • ONF member gets your intentions behind your words; he swiftly stands up from his chair and thanked you. “I owe you big one, Y/N. Another cup of coffee to thank you for reals?” • “No thanks, I will be busy. Next time.” You feel uncomfortable because the social distance between you two seems shortened, so you politely decline. • Luckily the whole budget cut/new rule policy worked out fine and by year end, benefits shows. You and ONF member can finally relax a bit knowing that you both have won the fight.

1-7 • Meanwhile, you did not stop interacting with your recent favourite friend. As you two got to know each other even more, both of you chat almost every day during the night. He never bores you and he can understand most of the topic you bring up. You are amazed that how can someone has so many things in common? • It spikes your curiosity and you ask him if a wonderful person like him has a partner in real life. He answers you that he is single, just like you are. • (You thought he is lying because he is such a nice guy, but of course you do tell yourself not to 100 percent trust everyone online) • Then he asks your opinion about online virtual dating. You honestly told him about your experience. But you added that even though you failed twice/thrice, you are not against it. • And that moment, you don’t know what has gotten into you, you playfully type, “You are asking my opinion on that as if you are preparing yourself” • “Prepare for what?” he asks • “To get yourself an online girlfriend.” You reply. • His respond reads, “Yes I am.” • “That’s wonderful. That girl you will be confessing is a lucky one.” • “Yea, indeed you are.” • You pause for a moment when you saw the message. • “Wait, you serious? ME??” you quickly send him the message because you thought should you hesitate longer, the mood will turn awkward. • He replies you by sending you a heart emoji. • You give a quick thought, well it is interesting chatting with him and he does seem nice. Plus, it’s online anyway, you could call it off should he becomes toxic and annoying like your previous experiences. • “I wasn’t sure if you are ok with someone like me. “He continues. “I am fine if you want to call it off should you found someone in real life later on.” • “Don’t be silly, that should be my line.” You retort him. • And then you have it, another secret. You have an online boyfriend now. You both even declared each other as a pair of soulmate publicly on the app. But you two did not exchange selfies, keeping the relationship virtual and anonymous. • However you two always share interesting stuffs happen on daily. New book, new cd, a random shot of a puppy or cat you met on the street. • Also before year end, you overheard girl colleagues gossiping about your superior has a girlfriend now; you are not interested at his private life so you just let it slide. • But you did briefly mention it to your boyfriend. Not in a gossip tone, more of a life update share. • Of course there are some girl colleagues that are ok with you comes to you, hoping you leak some information about ONF member’s rumoured girlfriend. But of course you know nothing at all, leaving them with disappointed answer. • Fast forward to the week before Valentine’s Day. It is also 10th month since ONF member joins the company. • Out of the sudden, your online boyfriend suggests you two to meet up. You are not against it, and it’s not like you never met anyone you know from the app. Thinking why not knowing a new friend in real life, you agreed his offer. (Also because you are curious what he looks like so that you can understand why he was single before dating you) • You even inquired his preference in chocolate and promise bringing him some on official first date. • Your boyfriend thanks you and suggests a place for dinner. You knew that place, it’s expensive and you could not help but wondering if he is trying hard to match you. (You still thinks he is just a normal employee in a company) • But, your boyfriend only replies: “Don’t worry, it is the perfect spot, I could not think of others that are suitable to our taste.” • You can only acknowledge it because you don’t want to have an argument to blow up but deep down you could not help yourself to start doubting again. • “It’s going to be Ok, right?” you question your decision, but it’s too late.

1-8 • On Valentine’s Day, younger female colleagues in your office give out chocolate treats to younger male colleagues as friendship presents, some of course using the occasion to confess. • You don’t have the habit of presenting chocolate treats as a token of friendship appreciation at the office. But you are giving your date chocolate treat later; you hid yours in your bag carefully scared of being teased should anyone saw it. • ONF member gets some too. One female colleague even teases him if he is going to get chocolate from his girlfriend. And ONF member replies that he might get it later that night. • Of course ONF member will asks you for chocolate treat with an innocent face, you just bluntly tell him that you don’t have the habit to give out chocolate treats, he only pouts after listening to your respond. • By the way today you unintentionally changed your makeup (lipstick or eyeshadow). No one dared to make any comments but not your superior, ONF member. • He goes: “Y/N ah? Did something good happen on you? Are you going to a date tonight?” • You are typing quick report and his words caught you off guard. You flinched at his words. Hoping ONF member did not notice, you quickly lied by telling him simply ran out of your usual makeup colour. • But your superior teases you a bit, “Aww, I was hoping I could attend your wedding in near future. “ • You have gotten used to his socializing pattern, so you counter him by asking if he is going to bring his girlfriend to have a nice dinner at a grand restaurant. • And to your surprise, he revealed the place he will be having dinner with his partner. It’s the same place where you are heading to later. He had a special room booked exclusively for tonight’s date. • “Oh, Oh… Have fun and enjoy your dinner.” You force yourself to break a smile. • ONF member only smirks at you and gives you a few pats on your shoulders and says he will have an unforgettable night before returning to his room. Leaving you questioning the meaning of his actions that are unpredictable but also definitely intentional. • Of course you had a quick thought asking your boyfriend if it is possible to change location, you could not bring yourself to ask as you are worried you might sound rude/arrogant trying to change plans on the last minute. You deduced that since ONF member will be having dinner in a room, you might not going to bump into him. You and your boyfriend can just finish dinner quickly. • You could not have that bother you too much time because you need to finish your report so that you can leave on time. Once it reaches the end of office hours, the others started to leave. You made up a plan to leave after ONF member leaves the office. You keep raising your gaze to have a slight peek towards your superior’s room. • Seeing him finally standing up from his chair and adjusting his suit. You can tell he is finally leaving. He passes through your desk and asks, “Y/N ah, please don’t tell me you are planning to work overtime during this special day?” • You only smiles and tell him you are going to finish soon, “Don’t you have a dinner to attend?” you remind him without looking at him, acting as if you are typing the remaining contents of your report. • “Yea I do. See ya.” ONF member waves you goodbye. • You leave the office after 10 minutes. (As for method of transport to the restaurant, I will leave it to your choice.)

1-9 • You reach the building of the restaurant. You let out a sigh, hesitating to step in nonchalantly knowing ONF member is inside there as well. The least thing you definitely do not want to happen is ONF member finding you having a dinner date tonight. It’s embarrassing and it will break the balance of your work and private life. • While you are pacing in front of the building with hesitation, you receive a chat notification from the app. You open it and it was your boyfriend, notifying you that he has arrived, and he reminds you the restaurant located at 38th floor. • You nervously bite your lower lip knowing it’s too late and it is rude of you to cancel the date on last minute. He was a decent person to chat with and you don’t want to lose a good friend. You are blaming yourself for agreeing to attend this date too casually. And you also find yourself way too wary of your virtual boyfriend’s thoughts towards you should you now called him to cancel the date. • Then you heard a familiar voice called out your name and you turn your head towards the voice unconsciously. It’s ONF member, walking out from the building. You flustered and panicked by just imagining scenarios of him asking why you are here and other many more questions. • “OMG…. Shit shit shit….!” You cursed in your head, regretting your life decisions. Recalling the entire chat context between you two, this might be the worst thing ever to happen in your life. • He is grinning while reaching out to grasp your hand. You unintentionally try to back away from him but he was faster. You tried to pull your hand away but he pulls you toward him instead. You nearly bumped towards his chest. • “Y/N ah, I told you its 38th floor; you did not get my message?” ONF member asks as his smirks widens. • As he finished his words, you only look at the young guy in front of you with disbelief, processing his words. Seeing you froze due to the big plot twist, ONF member taps you on your forehead hoping to unfreeze you. • “It can’t be…You are (ONF member’s ID in the app)?! “You exclaim. • “Yeap.” He responds. • “Impossible…How?” you ask. “How did you know it was me?” • “At first I had my doubt when I first saw an old post of yours. You shot a sunset pic from our office floor by the window near the lift right?” he returns with another question. And man he is good at remembering details. • “Then I confirmed that it was you by the time I announced budget cut/new rules for the company/department. ” he explains • “I…” You could not bring yourself to say anything, but you are not an idiot, “(ONF member name), did you risked your reputation in the company just to find out a stranger’s real identity?” • “No, I did not, I swear. I initiated the plan to suddenly announce the budget cut because I want to find out which board seniors will make a move to cover up themselves, as requested from my predecessor.” He knows you well to sense that you are angry, and he quickly denied. “I only know it was you when I checked up on you. Since then I have been dropping so many hints for you to realize, but it seems like you are the dense one here.” • You can tell he is telling the truth. • “This is absurd…” you mutter while placing your hand on your forehead. • ONF member let out a sigh and he shifts behind you, places his hands on your shoulders then pushes you forward. “Come on, I am starving we can talk about it later, you did not had a decent meal during lunch as well right?” • He is right, you only had a mini croissant during lunchtime.

• You follow him without a word to the entrance of the building and enter the lift to 38th floor. ONF member has booked a nice room that both of you can enjoy the city’s night view.

1-10 • It was a luxurious dinner but you are not in the mood enjoying it. In fact you are so stressed that you could not even taste your food. You did not touch your dessert at all. • You only quietly trace the shape of wine glass in front of you while looking at the night view, hoping the night to pass quickly. • “You are not happy with me being your date, Y/N?” he suddenly asks. • You jolted and you finally look at him in the eye for the first time tonight. • “You startled me, I am still trying to grasp the situation here.” You reply him with a low voice, trying to act calm by casually bring your drink closer to you and hydrates your throat. • “Hey Y/N-ah, I know you mentioned before that you don’t like the idea of dating someone from the office, but…” his eyes are fixed on you. “I like you. Not just the virtual you, but also the real you.” • “I called you a jerk.” You know you should not bring it up, but you still did. • “Which I did act like one so, no hard feelings.” He accepted. “I am truly sorry about that, I was trying to prove myself way too hard.” • Now it got awkward since he apologized without any complaints. You don’t know what to say and avert your gaze again. • “You know, Y/N ah, when you are stressed, you tend to avoid other people’s eye contact. “he breaks the silence. “And you are doing that ever since you reached here.” • Upon hearing his words, you flinched and exchange eye contact with the young man sitting in front of you. • “And oh, and you flinch as well.” He adds, “Which is very adorable in my opinion.” • “(ONF member’s name), I …” you try to explain yourself but he cuts you off. • “It alright, you don’t have to push yourself, I have made you stressed out way too much today.” ONF member smiles at you while saying based on what he observed. • He finally stands up and offers to send you home. You could not decline him because you felt terribly sorry for ruining such as nice date. • “I am sorry, should it is another girl, it will be a terrific night for you.” You apologized before leaving his car. • “Don’t worry; it is an unforgettable night for me.” He responds with his usual smile. • Back at your place, you are frustrated that the night ended up in an awkward and weird way. You only noticed that you did not get to hand him the chocolate treats as promised. • You cannot sleep that night, gazing at the chocolate treats as you holding the package in your hands. You cannot tell if you messed up or you are lucky that he happened to like you. • You wanted to consult a random mutual of yours but you hesitated. Because at this point you are not sure if you actually have the full grasp on the situation. And you don’t want a biased reply. • “It’s just this boyfriend of yours happened to be him, I guess?” you murmur to yourself. But that did not clear up your mind enough for you to make any decision towards the situation. • Several days passed, ONF member did not send any message to you in the chat app. He acted like usual back in office, but it does not look like he has any intention to talk about what happen between you two either. • (The problem is you cannot look at him in the eye) • You are troubled if you should initiate the first move. It’s not like you hate him, you never did in the first place, it’s just he annoys you sometimes. • Then you overheard ONF member having small talk with colleagues, and they ask about his Valentine’s Day. He only replies it was an unforgettable night and he is glad that he is able to meet his girlfriend, it was better than never meeting her at all.

1-11 • From his words, you gain a bit of courage and decided to make your first move. • The next day you arrived at the office earlier than usual, you take out something from you bag and places small gift box on ONF member’s desk. The small box has a memo attached to it. • You hurried back to your desk, acted as if nothing happened while the office starts have more and more colleagues coming in. ONF member arrives later on and he greets you before heading in his room. • You take some quick glances, making sure ONF member notices your belated Valentine’s day gift. • He did noticed and read the memo you attached, then he made a confused look but he adjusts his facial expression immediately as he sees you stood up from your place. • You head to his office room to brief his morning schedule. Like usual, you step into his room, closes the door and starts the briefing. ONF member stares at you with a puzzled expression while sitting on his chair. • Once you done your part and you ask him if he has any schedules to add into the list, he places the gift box into your view and pushes it towards you. • “What do you mean by this?” he inquires. • “I promised you chocolate for Valentine’s day, sorry I was late.” You purposely answer him the wrong information. “ Don’t worry I made a brand new ones.” • “You know I meant this.” He pulls out the memo has his eyes fixed on you. • The memo wrote, “(ONF member’s ID), Let’s call it off --- (Your ID)” • “That’s how it is.” You tried not to break into a smile, you are getting your revenge and this is fun. “You are the one who said you are fine to call it off if either one of us found someone in real life right?” • ONF member pauses for a moment, his eyes wandering then he admits he did say that. • “Well you found someone in real life, so there is not point for us to continue virtual dating on the app anymore right?” you slightly let out a victorious smirk as you ask him. • ONF member finally gets what you mean and he let out a smile. He puts down the memo and pushes himself up from his chair and walks towards you. • Thankfully the design of his room is made up of walls, once the wooden door is closed; no one knows what happens inside. • “So, you are fine with us dating in real life then?” You can feel his breath as he is only one step away from you. This time you are not going to back away and you look at him straight in the eyes. • “I will need to adjust a bit. You have a problem with me being your girlfriend?” you reply with him with another question. • ONF member unconsciously let out another smile, he quickly hides it with his hand, “No, not at all…” and those were the words you can hear coming out from him • “That settles it then.” You widen your grin towards him before turning around ready to leave his office. • But you are being pulled back by a pair of arms. Your back come contact to his chest area. He is hugging you from behind you. • “Seriously, I don’t get you.” He low key complains. “I thought you are going to hate me for real this time.” • “I was going to, you did not texted me and you acting like nothing happened after that night.” You pout as you explain to him. “I thought I have ended my career the moment you told me who you are. And who would have thought a decent CEO would date someone randomly they met in a online chatting app?” • “I am sorry; I thought leaving you unbothered for some time so that you don’t get stressed out.” You could tell from his tone he does feel apologetic. He never sounds like that before during work.

• "But I am dead serious on trying to start a proper relationship with you that’s why I suggested for us to meet up.” he continues. “Glad you felt the same.”

• You freed yourself from his hug and turn to him. • “Now listen, (ONF member’s name), as we are professionals, I do hope you understand that there is a clear line between work and private life.” You remind him. “Just because we are dating now, does not mean that I am going to let you off easily if you messed up during work, ok?.” • “Man, I don’t think I will ever win you huh?” ONF member only look at you affectionately and continues, “As you wish, my beloved assistant/secretary.”

arc v 22 - 30 thoughts!!! whew these eps. set up stuff is important. also, good masumi yuzu moments.

-my god. yuya literally accidentally taking yuzus polymerization card from her and making it his thing when she practiced so hard with it. FUCKing apt metaphor for how I feel she should be the protag and shes being robbed of her role (im sorry I genuinely have nothing against yuya but shes so much more interesting to me! she feels like a classic protag!) im glad he gave it back at least…I was afraid she'd refuse it for some reason…

-I do love yuyas random ITS SHOWTIME english. tmm moment. (theres a lot of random english mixed into this series actually and it always makes me like :D!!! lol I understand!!! hehe)

THATS MY FAV CMON!!! -also very um. interesting in the implications of gx and 5ds being on different timelines I think since the implication is theyre pulling from diff dimensions all at once, right? -in the crowd you can see ppl wearing cute duel monster accessories, like one girl had a dark magician girl headband/visor thing! very cute, wish we saw more things like that. in pokemon anime they do that a lot and its always such a delight…I want more duel monster cosplay moments! or references in charas outfits!

-ok yuya being the damsel during gongenzakas duel while yuzu is the one yelling, telling gon not to worry is……furthering my idea that yuzu is main chara and yuya is in the position of side character of different gender than main character (who is often a damsel or person to worry over the most). hes the anzu/kotori of the show. to me. JKJSDH (also, gongenzaka, is perfectly nice and fine but its so hard for me to care deeply about him aaaahg even with the episodes centered around him…hes so straightforward and steady, tho. good for him.)

-….the guy who gongenzaka's dueling should be disqualified. he had his goons try and jump yuya! god why isnt he automatically disqualified! doesnt the broadcast pick up audio?? he like, admits to it!

ATEEZ - Answer I’ve already stated why this song made me cry when I reviewed it over the summer. To attempt to put it shortly, I feel a sense of almost relief? It makes me feel proud of the boys in general and the songs feels like overcoming an obstacle and coming out stronger and just feeling overwhelmed by joy and happiness? And the part at the end really makes me just burst into tears it feels uplifting and beautiful.

MCND - Beautiful this song give me this nostalgia feeling, it sounds similar to a pop song I first heard in middle school (Down by Jay Sean). I started listening to pop in middle school and middle school is hell for everyone along with high school but there’s certain memories I have of middle school that weren’t too bad. I had a lot of friends, we filled up an entire table in the cafeteria. It was also in middle school that I sort of confessed to both my crushes. Middle school was different and new to me and ya’know middle school but this song reminds me of those times. Also about the song itself it gives me this feeling of longing and want like longing to fall in love and just it’s very strong and that really gets to me. (Upon looking up the lyrics it’s seems more like a song for the fans rather than a love song but that’s just the feeling it gives me and the way I interpret it)

Secret Number - Got That Boom recently this song has been making me feel things. Just the chorus is so upbeat and it feel like I can relax and just dance my heart out and just be happy and I don’t know if these girls will become an Itzy situation but there’s definitely something about the song that gives me kind of a similar feeling. I feel happy

CIX - Cinema ok so I never thought CIX would have this effect on me and up until recent songs didn’t give me these feelings and make me cry unless the song itself was sad. The way it’s been lately the songs I listen to can really sit with me and make me feel emotional even if the song is happy and upbeat. The way Cinema is, I’ve never used this phrasing before with anything, but the way I cried while just listening to the bridge and chorus in Cinema, that song is truly my safe place. Like my friend said “it feels like a hug” it does. That chorus gives me a feeling of nostalgia but in a way that makes it feel okay and it’s not a feeling that’s upsets me it’s literally a hug, it’s like a warm hug it feels like, like when I listen to it the way the members make their voices sound it’s relaxing and calming. It’s like whenever I hear the song, even if I’m watching a performance of it I feel calm, I feel okay. Like every bone in my body is at ease, every worry is melting away and I’m almost just floating on a cloud. I don’t exactly know how to put these feelings and emotions into words but I cannot praise Cinema enough.

OneWe & OneUs - Last Song this song is very upbeat and makes me feel joy and it doesn’t make me feel safe persay but it’s comforting. It’s another song that gives me a sense of longing. It’s like seeing an old friend again and reconnecting, like the ending credits to a really wholesome and wonderful movie about friendship and love amoung these friends that never stops growing. Just seeing all the clips in the mv of Oneus and Onewe together having fun and enjoying each other’s company, it’s almost like an end of summer recap having all these fun adventures and fun memories that you never want to forget and you will always cherish those memories and you want to keep those friends with you forever. And seeing them perform the song together on stage, the choreo has the same vibe it’s just a really feel good and wholesome song. (Also thinking about it now there also seems to be this sadness, like, ok in short sometimes I get really upset when I think about how I’m not little anymore. More on that later but this song feels like you’re just trying to be in the moment and preserve your youth, you don’t want to grow up, you don’t want things to change you want your friends to be with you always and you just want to live in this memory that you’ve captured foever and never grow up. That emotion is really strong here as well.)

Loona - Star a lot of people said this song gave them nostalgic feels and it’s crazy how that happened, it did for me too, as soon as I heard the chorus it hit me like a truck. I really don’t have the words to describe this song really other than that weird nostalgic feeling but it was weird how a lot of us had that feeling. The mv is beautiful and it’s crazy how I had memorized the chorus in the Korean version within a few days of watching them perform it. I really don’t know what to say about this song other than how amazing it is really. It kinda takes you back to a certain time in your life but I don’t know what that time it. Someone had said that they were listening to it while their mum was a asleep and the mum dreamed she was back in her hometown and she could hear that song play in the streets, it almost seems as if that song has time traveling powers or some power truly beyond humans lmao. She’s really something

Dreamcatcher - Odd Eye this song is hella but the bridge and the hard rock in the chorus sent me into fight or flight for the first time. I got another nostalgia feeling but with an image which never happens to me but basically picture it raining hard and you have extreme feelings of sadness and dread and you just want to almost scream?

Ghost9 - Thinking of Dawn another fight or flight song, it’s really weird tho but specifically Prince’s line in the bridge or chorus gave me a panic attack the first time I heard it, there’s something about the way the song and his voice sounds that like upsets me? And makes me want to cry. (Almost like this impending doom feeling. Similar vibes actually to that cursed Artificial Intelligence movie that I fucking loathe so goddamn much)

Twice - Cry for Me gurl this song gives me nostalgia like an early 2000’s but maybe late 90’s pop song and wow, it’s just so damn good I had to put it here

Sunmi - Pporoppipiiram - this song is another one that kinda plays with my emotions, I’ve described it as running away in the night with a secret lover, I’ve talked about wanting to just have these crazy night time shenanigans with a lover or friend and feeling free, it’s a song that I can see a sunrise in my head, the opening sounds and smells like a sunrise during the summer, possibly on the beach seeing the sun’s rays lighting up the ocean, the soft pink and orange glow, what Sunmi perfectly portrays in that mv is exactly what goes on in my mind whenever I listen to that song and she’s a certified bop™️ and that song is just so lovely but she’s got some feeling to it

2Z - Not Without You - motherfuckin 2Z came out with this song after Hyungwoong left and I was still upset about him leaving but I still wanted to support 2Z cause I wasn’t about to give up on them like that and the way this song was carried was gorgeous. I clearly cried, the way the song and the members voices make you feel comforted and kind of at peace with the world. It’s an uplifting song and the member’s sound wonderfully and Zunon’s voice was actually what brought me to tears, his singing is so gentle and truly beautiful and he fits right in with 2Z and when I realized that and I realized that 2Z can do all these things with their voices I just couldn’t help but cry. This song is like a huge sigh of relief but also tears of happiness

2Z - Stand nothing really specific about this song just the mv made me fucking cry at like 5 in the am. There was a big sad feeling tho

Yooa - Bon Voyage I never expected Yooa to get a solo but I was so blown away for her solo. It’s not a song that is a bop or really upbeat but it’s a gorgeous piece and with the way it sounds and the set and her outfits. It’s really the whole fantasy theme. It takes you away to a make believe world where you are free and you can just get away and escape. I don’t really know how to describe it but the scene where she’s on like rocks and she’s just spinning and it’s got that cool sound to the song, that scene describes the feeling perfectly

Pentagon - Daisy this fucking song. First off fuck you Pentagon for making me feel emotions yet making Yuto and Hongseok go tits up. Just seeing them all on the floor looking defeated or at a loss, it’s a painful feeling. It’s a song that makes me feel bad and towards the end I felt this feeling of fight or flight like, I wanted to stop watching it because I felt this inner panic for some reason like I had to get away. And then when they all sing together that really did me in, made me tear up and it’s a beautiful song but not in a beautiful way it’s painfully beautiful and the boys did so well in portraying all the feeling through their voices and just the different scenes in the mv

BlackPink - Lovesick Girls this song I call my self proclaimed anthem, I heard it for the first some time and it wasn’t until I watched them perform it for the first time that I teared up. At the time this happened I was really sad and I kept “slipping” so I felt very touch starved and clingy and I wanted just love and affection from anyone. I was feeling really lonely and the feeling was stronger than it’s ever been it I felt like crying all the time I was just so upset that I was lonely and I really wanted love and affection and this song was like my therapy for that I guess? I didn’t feel so alone. There’s a strong emotional bond I have with this, the desire and the need to fall in love and to just have attention from that one special person. I know the song is kind of about just feeling like you’re not cut out for falling in love and you know every relationship ends but there’s still that need, that desire to fall in love and be in love with another person, and with me I always say I don’t want to be in a relationship, I hate men, love is disgusting, but there’s thing strong desire and need inside me to be loved and to fall in love and sometimes, like when this song came out, you just get so upset that it feels like your heart is like in pain, like you hurt on the inside. That whole “hurts your heart” shit

Itzy - Wannabe I’m actually not going to explain why this song makes me cry I’m not ready to give the whole story yet and I probably won’t be. So in short, I heard this song when I was at quite a low point in my life I suppose, problems at work were just causing me to truly feel like shit and this song really hit me and actually the Wannabe era is what made me stan Itzy those girls are so precious to me and I hold them so close to my heart they are little miracles honestly and that song just really sits with me

Camellia

Isn’t Adachi Yuto just the purest and cutest boy alive? Just like a Camellia. This story was inspired by the song Camellia on Pentagon’s first full album The Black Hall. Since Yuto wrote the lyrics I immediately thought that this is a story which belongs to him.

‘Huh?’

And he stopped for a second when I said this. Like a child, like he didn’t even know what he was doing until this point, he started to analyze his own drawing like he has never seen something like this before.

‘Sorry, I didn’t want to disturb you. Just go on. I’ll be going then.’

And I wanted to leave the class. It was always like this. I wanted to approach him, but he was shy or maybe he didn’t want to talk to me, I don’t know what the reason was, but it never worked out. It was impossible to get close to him. I gave up.

‘It’s a camellia. Queen of winter flowers.’

‘I see. It’s beautiful.’

And I didn’t want more. I was already satisfied with this short answer. It meant literally everything. Ever since he joined our class I was hoping for a little interaction. I was hoping for a secret glance, for a little sign of interest. Not only towards me. He was always alone, he was always wearing black, he was always listening to music. And he always seemed sad. I just wanted to hug him. To see him smile. Once, only once. That was all I wanted. But now as he was talking about his drawing, for the first time he seemed comfortable and relaxed. He was totally different. I just hoped other people could see this side of him too.

‘If you are interested, I can tell you the legend of camellia.’

He was again shy, but he made the first step. And I wanted to get to know this Yuto more than everything.

‘I am all ears.’

‘Class! Can I have your attention please? I would like to introduce you your new classmate, Adachi Yuto. He and his family has just recently moved to Korea, please make sure to help him, and involve him in our everyday life so that he can adapt fast and comfortably to this new situation. Yuto-ya do you want to tell something about yourself? Why don’t you introduce yourself?’

‘Hi my name is Yuto. Nice to meet you.’

That was the very first time I heard him talking. He was insecure and quiet, but something about his looks and voice made me go insane. These two short sentences made me so awake like I was never before. Usually I was bored during classes. Either sleeping or talking with others, these were my top activities. Classes were usually boring, or at least I already knew what was about to happen. American Civil War? Boring. Colonization? Been discussed hundred times before. Maths? Will we draw triangles in real life just to prove that Pythagoras was right? Duh, no. BORING.

But he was something else. He was mysterious, and I wanted to know everything about him. Where has he lived in Japan, what are his parents like? Does he have siblings? Are they also gifted by these genes? Suddenly school became the most interesting thing in my life.

In the class I was the tallest girl. I didn’t really hate my height but I was used to sit in the last row, have only shorter friends than me, and of course I was always the one asked to turn on the projector, or lift down the boxes from the shelves. It wasn’t bad but sometimes it gave me hard times. The prom was nearing as we were in our last year of school and there was literally no one who would want to dance with me. And this was only based on height. Most of the boys didn’t like tall girls. If a girl is same height as them then how can they show their manly side? Bullshit.

But for the first time on that lovely October Monday I was proud to be tall. It was good to sit in the last row, and I didn’t mind that I haven’t had a partner for the prom. Once he stepped in our class, everything has changed. He was my hope. He was handsome, tall and seemingly a good person. What gave me this feeling? I can’t really describe I just looked at him and couldn’t imagine him being anything else.

‘Are you really two years older than us?’

One of the cool guys asked. There was a complete squad of them. They would bully you for everything possible and I already felt like this question is not leading us in the right way.

‘Yes, I was born in the Year of Ox*.’

‘What? Is that 3 years then? HAHA. What a loser. Did you fail 3 times?’

‘No it’s just…’

‘Why do you think you’ll pass in Korea if you failed already 3 times. Are you looking down on our country? Just because you are a foreigner it won’t be easier for you.’

’Kim Jae Hyun that will be enough. Yuto please sit down, there is an empty place for you in the last row. Huh, okay we are done with the introduction and now let’s move on with our topic…’

And Ms. Choi stopped for a second before she said it out loud.

‘Japanese invasion of Korea.’

‘Teacher I thought this is history class, why are we talking about our present.’

And they were looking all at Yuto. Challengingly like they have to fight for privileges, like they were afraid the new kid will take their position. How could he? It could be seen that Yuto wasn’t the type of guy who was eager to be the cool guy in class. He would never show off or throw a fit just to be popular. I was getting angry.

‘Kim Jae Hyun. Shut your mouth finally, will you?’ I said tempered.

‘Oh Lady Protector. Why don’t you mind your own business? Do you have to interfere all the time? Did you fall for Mr. Japan so easily? What a basic-‘

‘ENOUGH. Kim Jae Hyun you go to the director’s office. NOW.’

‘Conversation. Teacher this is what I wanted to say. Basic conversation. Nothing else why should I ?’

‘I said NOW. Don’t make me tell you once again.’

And seemingly Ms. Choi hoped that introducing a new classmate won’t be so hard, but her predictions might have fooled her. Now she turned to me.

‘You. I’ll let it slip for now. But I don’t want you to raise your voice in my class anymore, understood?’

‘Yes, Ms. Choi. I am sorry.’ ‘I’ll go with Jaehyun will be back in 5 mins. I don’t wanna hear any noise.’

Oh, I think I missed out something important. I am the president of class. So most of the times I was in charge of keeping the class organized or even making sure they won’t cause a complete disaster when there is no teacher around. Anyone can tell my life is full of happiness and unexpected surprises. Thankfully after they’ve left nobody dared to talk. Jaehyun’s bad guy squad was powerless without him. If the leader was not around, they were just shy bunnies.

Yuto’s table was on my right side but I was afraid to look in his direction. What could he feel, what could he think about our class? I was so ashamed. Those stupid idiots ruined everything.

Thanks to that idiot flower boy Kim Jae Hyun, Yuto became a ghost in our class. He was always present, but always somewhere far away. He always arrived in the last second and left as soon as the classes were over. After that terrible introduction day nobody was nagging him, and even if they tried, he would just ignore them. He was always alone, he had always his headphones on and he seemed lonely.

As we were sitting next to each other I was always cautiously glancing over his table during the classes wondering what he is up to. And most of the times he was drawing. It was always the same. A flower. I was not really familiar with the types, but it was always the same flower. Seemingly it could have a special meaning to him.

After the class ended, he was about to go but I gathered all my courage to ask him about the drawing. Previously I tried to talk to him, but seemingly he wasn’t the type to like small talks. He always replied but would never ask back. He kept it short and simply. I couldn’t build up a conversation. But that afternoon everything has changed.

‘I noticed that you are always drawing this flower.’

‘Huh?’

‘Sorry, I didn’t want to disturb you. Just go on. I’ll be going then.’

But after a little hesitation he continued.

And after 23 days of silence and no contact we were talking like we’ve always known each other. Actually, we were so immersed in our conversation that we even forgot about the drawing. Yuto was actually a cool guy. If you got to know him, he was so much different from the first predictions. He still wasn’t egoistic or rude, but he had great goals and plans in life, he was honest and on top of that talented. When I got to know he raps, sings, and dances I was taken a back.

‘Why didn’t you tell anyone in the class? They would love it I am sure.’

‘Well, I don’t think it is a good idea.’ He said shyly.

And then I realized. He didn’t want to show his true colors because others would criticize him, they would nag and bully. And what he had was already more than enough.

‘Anyways thank you for sharing. Even if the others seem to be distant, they are, I mean most of them, are good people. They just need time to welcome you in the class. But you’ll become the part of this class. I’ll make sure. Until then you can count on me. The class president is always here for you. ‘

And I couldn’t believe my eyes, but he was smiling. SMILING. And it was the most beautiful and purest smile I’ve ever seen. I wish I could tell him how beautiful it was, how that smile made my heart skip a beat. How much I needed it in my life. Definitely he should have smiled more.

Starting from that afternoon our relationship was slowly but surely becoming a friendship. We got closer and closer. And I fell in love with him. I always adored his looks but this time it was different. First, he was just a good-looking guy. Objectively looking at him nobody could tell otherwise. He was indeed handsome. But as soon as we started sharing stories, spending more and more time together I saw him more and more beautiful. For others he might not be the most amazing guy, but for me, he was. He is.

Others have also noticed this because my friends started nagging me. ‘When will you finally ask him to dance with you?’ ‘Is he such a coward that he will not ask you out?’ And I was always politely telling everyone that there is no such thing that we are becoming a couple. But inside it did hurt. Because I wanted to be together with him. I wanted it more than anything.

As the prom was just around the corner a lot of things happened to our class. We were preparing a lot of things. Decorations, a little campaign, a dance performance even. Yuto tried to hide the fact that he could dance but once he was chosen to be the center he couldn’t run away. Slowly but after passed he got accepted in our class. My friends really loved him (of course they might have seen how I was head over heels for him), other girls had a crush on him, and the guys respected him. Most of them. But not the cool gang. Kim Jae Hyun and his squad has been turned down. They no longer had power. They’ve been dethroned. I was so happy about Yuto finally becoming the part of our class. He fought his war, but he did succeed. And others had to accept it. Seemingly they did. But it was not yet over.

The representative election was one of the most important events before the prom. Every class should vote for two class representatives, usually for a boy and a girl. The chosen ones would have the honor to give a speech at the prom and at the graduation ceremony. There was literally no one who wouldn’t want to do it. Not because they were so grateful towards each other. But it looked nice in university applications.

Even though everyone was interested there were requirements which you should meet for the applications. You should have had good marks, a recommendation letter from one of our teachers and of course the votes from the class. And that was the hardest to get.

I knew I had higher chances since I had good grades and I was the class president but still I didn’t want to take it for granted. I wanted to work hard, and honestly wanted to have a fair election. My friends were so cute they kept on telling me that I will be chosen but I ignored all these comments. I didn’t want to have high hopes.

Out of the boys I didn’t know who the candidates could be. Yuto was becoming more and more popular but still he didn’t have these kinds of ambitions. Jae Hyun had these ambitions though, but he was losing his popularity recently. Therefore, on the day when they announced the results, I was extremely nervous. I couldn’t stand the idea of working together with Jae Hyun. And I was already way to excited to give a graduation speech alongside Yuto. But then something unexpected happen like it never did before.

‘Congratulations you are the class representative of Year 2019/2020.’

I was so shocked. I mean deep inside I was hoping for this, but I never knew that my whole class would choose me. I had friends and nobody hated me, still it was surprising I was moved by this. But still there was a question without an answer.

‘Ohm sorry but, who is the other representative?’ I asked with a slight hesitation.

‘This year you are the only one chosen. Congrats you are the classes favorite, still you can choose someone to give the speech with, if you want to.’

Of course, I wanted to. There was no doubt. I thought it is happening finally. Yuto might be shy but maybe I can convince him. It worked out great previously and he became loved and popular in our class. I wanted to help him. The other day when we were talking, he told me why he could not graduate earlier. And once I realized and knew the background, I just wanted to help him more to achieve his dreams.

After the class I wanted to ask him to be the other representative with me but seemingly he had to go. I was running out of the school when I found him standing next to two other guys. Both of them were smaller than him. But they looked around his age. When I saw them, I stopped running; I didn’t want to disturb them. It was so easy to see that they were his teammates.

‘Yutoooo.’ The smaller guy said with a childlike excitement. He seemed super hyper. But had such a positive vibe. It seemed he truly liked Yuto. Looking at him once again he might have been older than Yuto and the third guy.

‘How was it?’ The third guy asked. He was such a fashionista. Cool clothes with accessories and even his presence was shouting for attention. But when I looked at his face, I realized how sensitive he could be.

‘It was okay. Huh?’ And in that moment, he noticed me. I didn’t want to be uncovered, but it was so satisfying to meet idols I couldn’t help but stay there watching them. I guess I even blushed.

‘Oh, hi!’ I said quietly. And even though I was loud person in that situation I felt so small for some reason.

‘What are you doing here? Is something wrong?’ Yuto asked worriedly.

‘Oh… oh no… nothing specific I just…’ and then I stopped.

I looked at the two other guys and the timing didn’t seem perfect. Should I really ask him in front of his teammates?

‘Are you sure you are okay?’ He asked again.

‘Oh yeah, uhm there is something I want to ask from you. Can we talk tomorrow afternoon? I’ll be waiting next to the library.’

‘Okay. Ohm sorry but we gotta go now.’

‘Sure, sure. I’ll see you tomorrow.’

‘See ya.’

And I turned around and realized how my pulse was in the heights. I was literally dying. And it was getting worse when I heard them leaving.

‘Is she your girlfriend? She is cute.’ The older guy said. And then added with his playful voice a bit like nagging. ‘Yuto has a girlfriend, Yuto has a girlfriend.’ And then returned to his original self. ‘Next time you should introduce us.’

‘Okay hyung.’

‘Does she know where you are going now?’ The other guy asked now.

‘Uhm, yeah I think she does.’

‘So, you talked about becoming an idol but you didn’t introduce us?’

‘No need for nagging. Yuto had a though day.’ The smallest guy said.

‘Thank you hyung.’ Yuto said appreciatively.

But he hasn’t finished.

‘But even on though days you should have introduced the leader of your group.’

‘What and what about the dancing machine then? Hyung aren’t you a bit too much?’

‘Okay, okay. I am just joking.’

And that was the last I could hear. They’ve left. It was so good to see that there were people like them around Yuto. It seemed like they were a good team.

I was slowly going home, and I was still thinking about him. How he could practice at 8. How he is joking with those two. How he is immersed in their music. It was a lovely thought. But someone had to ruin it again. It was Kim Jae Hyun. When I opened the text message, I couldn’t really understand what was going on.

‘Hey, can we meet tomorrow after class? I have something to tell you.’

And I was hesitating to answer him, but usually even to those Kim Jae Hyun types I couldn’t say so I answered:

‘Please keep it short I have already had plans, for the afternoon.’

‘Okay, I’ll be straightforward.’

Straightforward? What is wrong with this guy? Anyhow I didn’t bother to analyse this conversation I could finally return to my original thoughts. I was daydreaming and had all the possible scenarios and answers in my head, what Yuto could answer on the next day. While playing with the thoughts I didn’t even realise that it was already 7.20 and I was late for school.

In the end I was just on time and managed to arrive before the class started. Yuto was also arriving in the same time. We were always nice with each other but today he seemed nicer and more polite than usual.

The whole day I was freaking nervous I couldn’t concentrate. I wanted to finally just tell him that freaking question. Let out of my chest and just move on. I was so nervous I was kind of reconsidering the whole thing and deciding to give the speech alone.

After the last class ended, I was heading to the library directly. I didn’t see Yuto that much on this day, and even our last class was separated so I was so much waiting to finally see him. When a tall guy in our uniform has finally appeared on the corner, I was already so happy. But it wasn’t him unfortunately.

‘Where were you?’ Kim Jae Hyun asked.

Shit. I completely forgot about it.

‘Oh sorry. What did you wanted to share?’

‘I like you.’

‘Pffff. HAHAHAHA. Come on Jae Hyun I have better things to do.’

‘No, I am serious. I like you. I was rude and distant because I liked you. But I realized it is not working on you. So now I am confessing my feelings. Also, can you please be my partner for the prom?’

What the actual heck? I was so shocked I couldn’t give him an answer or even react. And as I didn’t do anything, I saw him reaching out to my hands. And in that second, I heard a small noise from the right side. It was Yuto. He was staring at us, while holding a paper in his hands. His eyes were the saddest things I saw in my life. Betrayal. Disappointment. Sorrow. It was all over written in his eyes. In the end he just turned around and the paper just slowly falling out of his hands reaching the floor.

‘Yuto, wait.’ And I wanted to go after him but Jae Hyun was grabbing my wrist tighter than before.

‘Mr. Japan will not comeback.’

‘What?’

‘I made sure that he will see us like this today.’

‘How could you?’

‘It is so obvious that you fell for him and I even heard yesterday when you told him to meet you here. But I must be the other representative.’

‘You are so disgusting. I’ll never choose you as a partner.’

‘Oh, you will, otherwise I’ll make sure your precious Mr. Japan will not be able to graduate this year.’

And suddenly I was getting scared of him. He was grabbing my stronger, it hurt. He pushed me to the wall and was leaning closer. I didn’t know what he wanted to do but my tears were already flowing on my cheeks.

‘Oh a little crying won’t work on me, I’ll not let you go until you promise me to nominate as the other representative.’

And I was just about to agree and promise him, but in that second finally my wrist was free and I was no longer captured by his suffocating presence.

‘Don’t you dare put your hands on her.’ Yuto said.

‘Oh lovely Mr. Japan came back as a savior.’

But he couldn’t finish his sentence cause in that second Yuto punched him in his face. I was so shocked. It was too much going on in that past 10 minutes.

‘How dare you frighten her? Don’t you ever come near her. Understood?’

And this was the very first time I saw this part of Yuto. I couldn’t find words. Does he also have a side like this? A protective bit aggressive side?

Jae Hyun must have understood but unfortunately Ms. Choi has just appeared on the scene and I knew this is not going to bring anything good.

‘What is going on?’ She asked angrily.

‘Teacher, I just…’ Yuto started. He was again back to his usual calm and shy self.

‘This jerk hit me. He needs to be punished.’ Jae Hyun added.

I was so pissed. How can he even now pretend that he is the victim?

‘Yuto is it true?’

‘Yes, teacher.’ He answered calmly.

‘Oh, and what are you doing here?’ She asked me.

‘I-I’ And I couldn’t find the words. It was just too much.

‘Jae Hyun was threatening her, teacher.’ Yuto answered.

‘Really?’

And instead of answering I just nodded. Ms. Choi just sighed.

‘Are you okay?’

‘Yes, Ms. Choi.’ I answered still a bit dizzy from nervousness.

‘Alright. You two are coming with me.’ And the boys and the teacher were leaving.

I was still unconscious due to the sudden happenings. I was hoping that Yuto will not get in big trouble because of me, but I just couldn’t wait for him I wanted to leave school as soon as possible. As I was leaving, I saw that paper on the floor which Yuto was holding earlier. I slowly picked it up and actually didn’t want to read it but once I saw my name on it I couldn’t stop myself.

Do you still remember how it started? You asked about the camellia. And I promised to tell you the story. But as time passed, we had so many things to share with each other the flower and its story faded away. I finally gathered some courage to write this letter. I am sorry to make you wait. You must have had a hard time. We both knew what was going on, but I wasn’t ready to tell you. I am so sorry about that.

Why always camellia? It reminds me of a lot of special memories. It is one of the most common flowers in our country. It made me feel like I was home. The legend says the camellia blossoms only in special circumstances in given times but once it blooms it is the most beautiful one of them all. In the past months you were the one ensuring the special circumstances for me. Without you I couldn’t become popular and loved. You made me feel like a camellia. You made me feel at home. You don’t know how much grateful I am for that.

We are working on our album now, and I was thinking about how I could tell you all the feelings I feel right now. I am usually not a very talkative type, so I chose my own way. I hope you’ll like it.

Yuto

I couldn’t stop myself anymore. This whole day was just too much to process. My tears started to flow. I couldn’t really describe why I was crying. Happiness? Relief? Being moved? Maybe all of these and more. It was such an overwhelming feeling. And finally, I had my answers. Why he was not making any steps. He still needed time. But in his own way he was continuously telling me how he cherished our relationship.

Without even realizing a half hour passed and I heard steps from the end of the corner. I hoped nobody would notice me, but it didn’t work out unfortunately. With my still teary eyes I tried to recognize the silhouette of the nearing person. But once I heard his voice, I felt an oddly calm feeling getting over my body.

‘Are you okay?’ He asked.

‘Yuto. I am … He is…’

‘I know. I heard it. I am sorry I left I should have protected you and avoid this to happen.’

‘No. You did all you could.’

And suddenly there was a silence between us. I was scared to bring it up, but I need it to hear it with my own ears.

‘Is this really have you feel?’

And I was still holding on to that sheet of paper like it was the most precious thing in my life. (Most likely it was).

And instead of answering he just looked at me shyly and nodded. And at that point I couldn’t hold it back I hugged him as tight as possible. He wrapped his arms around me, and I was drowning in that feeling. It felt like homecoming. I was leaning my head on his and once I felt his hands stroking my hair, I knew he was my safe place, my secret hideaway.

It was dreamlike, we were just standing in the empty school, but we were in our own universe. Like he wanted to calm me down he placed a soft kiss on my forehead, and I was already blushing. But just as I said Yuto was a mystery. After so many times passed, I would never think, he would show me his passionate side. The romantic side of him which was longing for an honest talk, for a hug, for a kiss.

It was so insane. How could he be so powerful and strong when it comes to protecting me, and how can he be so gentle when I am in his arms? Why do I forget everything when I am with him? Why do I want to give up on everything for him? His every touch was like a spell. My lips were tingling, and my body was trembling from amazement. I had a lot of plans and goals, but in that moment when I was with him, when I felt him, suddenly I could forget about the university applications and everything. Only we existed.

‘I’ll protect you from now on.’ He whispered in my ears. ‘Shall we go now?’

And he was reaching out for my hands. So, we were walking out hand in hand.

‘There is something I should tell you. And you won’t be happy most likely.’ He said suddenly.

‘Why are you starting like this?’

‘Those two boys from yesterday. They are waiting for me, so I will have to leave. I am sorry.’

I was disappointed but it couldn’t be helped. I knew how talented he was and I wanted to support him no matter what.

‘I’ll make it up somehow.’ He promised.

Once we left school the two boys just as previously. They were standing outside waiting for Yuto.

‘Yuto-ya. Can we go now?’ The smaller guy asked.

‘Yeah, just a sec. So, let me introduce you my bandmates. This is Lee Hoetaek our Leader. He nags me all the times, but he does it out of love. Right? And this is Kang Hyunggu our dancing machine.’

‘Nice to meet you.’ I said quietly.

‘Oh, and most importantly. She is my girlfriend.’ And he was holding my hand tighter than before. He gave me a small kiss on my cheek.

‘Okay so everyone knows everyone now. We can go now.’ He said with satisfaction.

He waved goodbye and winked. Well Adachi Yuto seemingly you exactly now how to make it up.
