How I feel about Yuna’s fate:

Listen, I lost a lot of respect I had for this girl when she just up and went making all her decisions about Yuga and being with him. I didn’t like her when she was first introduced in the show, and the Yuga crush was just not interesting. I thought she was growing a bit in season 2, but then threw away all her development when she decided she would do anything to see Yuga again, especially when we know nothing will happen with them. So when she decides to abandon everything by jumping to a time portal with no guarantee that she’ll even end up in the same era as Yuga, yeah I don’t feel bad for her.

I respect girls in love, but not to the point where they’ll sacrifice others for their own desires.

I can't believe I'm saying this even thou I'm usually the devil's advocate of this fandom but I also want Yuna to end up in the wrong timeline. I feel like her getting to Yuga and getting exactly what she wants sets up a wrong message and rewards her for doing everything bad? Like I know a lot of characters do things for selfish reasons but by far she has to be the MOST selfish character and it's not even for an interesting purpose, just a crush that's seriously one-sided. Even if he did reciprocate her feelings we know it's probably not genuine because there's no reason why he would want to be with her other than there could be a way for him to use her.

Anyway, I'm with you guys on this. Let's hope she's just in a different timeline, regretting her actions realizing all of it was for nothing. To be honest I do agree that a rejection would be to rewarding

The entire show would not work if the cast wasn't obsessed with her, and they're all right to stan her, literally gets Sora and Serena to defect from Academia with her sheer charisma, beat Masumi at their gay little rivalry, Yugo spends a few days with her and is ready to die for her, Yuya is simply just the loudest about adoring her And why not? She is so clever and determined, doing the most work out of anyone to figure out the myth plot. Actively trains to keep up with the rest of cast. Even when the universe is conspiring against her and trying to keep her down, she fucking headbutts Roger and tells him off or manifests to help save the world in the ultimate girlboss team-up that was the Arc V finale. Truly any dimension without her is worth upending. - The mysterious magical bracelet that isekai's her to different worlds, the Can-Do attitude, the cool poses (fusion summoning), the ADORABLE character design, AND she was 1/4 of a world-saving hero in the past?? If it weren't for the meddling writers, she would have been the main character - yuzu is everything. literally the plot of arc v hinges on the fact everyone who meets her become just as obsessed with her. and they are totally right to do so

Yuna is great. She's an absolute bully whenever she's in conflict with the other characters (so sorry to Sky), which honestly? fun. Amazing energy. and then she has gay energy with Rovian and Asaka. Yuna has a surprisingly dynamic character arc, going from just following Rovian around in between bullying people, to taking on the task of inventing a new card (which is very hard work in this universe), and maturing to being one of the town's leaders. She's clearly someone in the process of learning who she is and I've really enjoyed seeing her get to go on that journey. SHE HAS A BASICALLY CANON GIRLFRIEND PLEASE I AM BEGGING BECAUSE ROVIAN GOT ELIMINATED ALREADY

Yuna se vio DSOD y se inspiró en Seto Kaiba con tal de ver a la persona que más ama, Kaiba ya sabemos quedo con quedo esa sensación de perder a su máximo rival

Yuna qué un inicio se puede decir que es normal sentirse atraída por alguien, la sencillez de Yuga y el tiempo que hayan compartido fue y fue Yuga quien le ayudo a crear su mazo hasta este punto puede ser que esta bien Yuna

Pero supera la barrera de la obsesión esto se origina al no decirle lo que sentía por el y eso hace entrar modo dañar a los más cercanos con tal de estar con esa persona no midiendo consecuencias, dejo a un lado a Rovian ambas eran amigas, en un inicio Yuna le admiraba de una manera rara pero era un vínculo fuerte pero la desecho fácilmente, con Asaka se puede decir que es su rival por el corazón de Yuga pero siendo Asaka más madura se siente mal por no haberle dicho pero no hizo alguna locura, sería gracioso por la pelea de un chico la sociedad que hubo en Goha y Mutsuba se haya terminado, en Sevens vemos que no tenían nada de relación, a donde llegara el plan de Yuna, su amor por el es parte puro y también obsesivo esto nació ya lo antes mencionado

Dang, being a Sonic fan as well, this reminded a lot of the hate Amy Rose used to get. Like Yuna, she has a huge crush on Sonic, and would chase after him. In the 2000s, she was portrayed as being aggressive and obsessive at times. It really hurt her reputation. So this is pretty much what people would say about Sonic running from her. I know perfectly well neither Sonic and Yuga wouldn't do that though.

I didn't like comparing Yuna to Amy, so I turned to my friend @violetganache42 for advice. She's been in the Sonic fandom longer than me, so I thought she could help. I like how she put it.

Amy (especially prior to her maturing) and Yuna do have moments in their life where they're so devoted to their crushes due to them being tweens. I think the clear difference is since Amy trained herself to hold her own against Eggman and catch up with Sonic, she is strong-willed enough to know what situations should be prioritized. As for Yuna, it feels like the writers have made her feelings for Yuga go to a point where she doesn't care if the Velgearians go extinct. Hell, the Yu-TS were ROOTING for her for it and shunning Manabu when he pointed out how serious the Velgearians' situation is.

I think that's an excellent point. Amy wants not only to be with Sonic, but to stand by his side and protect him. Yuna, however, hasn't really been doing anything to help in the plot lately, and focusing only on telling Yuga how she feels. Please understand I don't hate Yuna. She's grown a lot from when we first met her, but her single-mindedness in this episode wasn't for me.
