Gonna put myself on blast here a little because I never give proper credit and I should, even if it was a no-strings-attached gift.

Yumiko21 on deviantart drew my character Curie, because we were both in the same roleplay group at the time. Which was really nice of them because they had nothing to gain but the art practice.

I got inspired to try some more dynamic poses and Larvesta was what the generator spat out at me. Never drawn one of these before and I'm very pleased with how it turned out :D

Hi! I was wondering if you might be able to please try to help me find a Kuroko no Basket fic? It was a series on AO3 and it was mainly about Takao/Midorima. I think there were also Kuroko/Kagami stories in the same universe, and that Aomine and Kise were sort of friends with benefits but both of them actually wanted to be with Kuroko. What I remember mainly was that Takao helped Midorima a lot with his anxiety and superstitions, and Akashi was a bad guy who had suggestive photos of (1/2)

(2/2) Midorima from their middle school days that he used against Midorima and had also threatened to burn down MMidorma's family's house. That's all I can remember and I haven't been able to find it at all, so I thought I should try asking you in case it sounds familiar. Thank you very much for your help either way!

Looking for an old Sherlock fanfic

I read it somewhere between 2013-2017 on A03?. Not sure when it was originally posted. It was a fairly long oneshot, (10k words+ I think?) I think it was under the Sherlock (TV) Fandom tag? Though seeing how there's a few versions of different Sherlock Holmes fandom tags there are it could have been from another part and I didn't realise/ don't remember.

What I can remember; John and Sherlock check into a small village hotel/motel/cottage type building (older type of building?) and although they haven't said it prior to the start of the fic, they both know that the other loves them and what happens in the fic is "just the next natural progression of their relationship?" They may have gone out to dinner somewhere in the village after checking in? maybe? I think they talk a little about their relationship while eating? They eventually go back to the hotel and it turns NSFW after that.

It was a Post-Reichenbach fic I think??

I remember it being a cozy?/soft?/nice? sort of fic.

Actually this is one of the fics that preeeetty much went according to plan.

10. If I had to sum up this fic in a sentence, what would it be?

Luffy is determined to save Ace, no matter how much of the past he has to fuck up to do so.

11. If I were to rewrite this fic, what would I change?

Probably just the chapter length. I'd have longer chapters, fewer, of course, to help with pacing. And I would have expanded on a few scenes.

Close, but no cigar. I’m actually “only” 187 cm tall, which is a little over six feet for the metric-illiterate among us. Still enough to bump into the corners of cupboards my parents leave open, though! My head hurts!

I like how out of your way you went despite the information you did have. While I did inherit all the facial hair in the family, and also some of the curliness, I actually keep it trimmed fairly short to keep it in that golden minimal itch zone. When I was younger I used to have blond hair (that word looks stupid all of a sudden, p sure it’s a fake word) though it did darken a bit as I aged. For some reason, my beard turns reddish if it starts getting longer.

I do indeed have blue eyes, though they keep shifting back and forth to greyish as the seasons pass. At one point they had some yellow in them. Still not sure what that was about.

Despite being tall as mentioned, I actually weigh less than 75 kg (165 pounds, for Those Of You). For an adult my length, I could definitely benefit from gaining some weight. Maybe I wouldn’t get tired so quickly if I had any significant reserves to speak of.

Now we’re getting to the interesting part! First off, I’d like to mention my tumblr avatar is an old character of mine. Her name is Curie, and she’s a misdreavus I used in an old pokemon roleplay group on deviantart. She was drawn by yumiko21 on the same site.

My hair is nothing like hers, as mentioned. Dark blond, not even quite brown, let alone black or grey. I do have a few stray grey hairs already at the ripe old age of 25, though, so that’s probably fine.

Everything else in that sentence is, somehow, eerily close to reality. I do wear glasses with minimal rims, I do have a relatively pronounced jaw (it partially unhinges!) and my eyes are indeed blue-adjacent.

The ponytail is a little off, though. While my hair is often long enough for one, I absolutely hate doing anything with it. I tolerate it when my girlfriend braids it, but they definitely get undone immediately after. You’ll see at the bottom of the post.

As for the gender guess: Somehow, the opposite. It’s not ambiguous, mostly because of the beard... But look closer, and it turns out I have naturally long eyelashes and kinda feminine hands. My mom used to tell me people would mistake me for a girl if I kept my hair too long. Still hoping it’ll happen someday, just to know how it feels. Probably won’t, though.

The turtleneck is way off, but you somehow referenced the exact outfit of one of my dnd characters. I’m going to guess you saw the art before, but if you didn’t, you should probably use your powers for the good of humanity.

As for my environment... There are books, and there is a computer I spend a lot of time at, but there aren’t that many books, and this is not an office. Good try, though.

Also, I can’t recall what my own smile looks like and I can’t do it on command, so, uh.

He wakes up again, and the something is digging into the insides of his thighs, and he's lying on the table, with a man looking over him, looking fascinated. The man has black hair and glasses and scalpel in hand, and soon everything dissolves into pain and blood.

Cloud wakes up, and the man is gone. He's in green again, but it's more red than green, the colours blurring into each other in swirls. His lower back hurts and when he touches it, to try and figure out why, it feels rough under his fingers. It cut's his fingers and for a while he just watches how the blood spilling from the cuts swirls into the green, before its dark again.

When he wakes up the fourth time, the green is green once more, and he can see through it. He can see the room – no one there – and he can see the tank beside his and there is someone there he knows. He stares at the someone for a long while before he remembers – Zack. Zack who was nice and had looked after him, who had taken care of him – they'd fought together.

So he fights the blackness this time and tries to figure out how to get to Zack – but he's trapped in the tank, and no matter how he pounds at the glass in front of him, it refuses to budge.

Then something slashes out, and suddenly the glass has long scratches on it all around Cloud and before he can figure out what caused them, the whole tank breaks, spilling and splintering and leaving him on the bottom, no longer suspended. Coughing and hacking, Cloud pulls out the breathing tube from his throat and the needles from his neck and arms and crawls out and over the mess of glass and Mako, naked and shivering. He looks back.

The skin of his lower back, just over his spine, is dark and ridged, spiky. It rises in way it didn't use to, and goes on in way that isn't even nearly natural. The tail rises in long sinewy arch, the back ridged in spikes and it ends in what looks like a five curving spikes, all of them long and sharp and jagged, and apparently sharp enough to cut glass, apparently.

Together they form a pincer like claw, that looks like it might very well punch holes through anything it might ever try to grab

After moment of staring at the thing, Cloud, still on all fours, lashes out with the tail again, and the front of Zack's tank is slashed to pieces, the tail spikes making quick work of the bullet-proof glass. Zack, as naked as Cloud is, stumbles in to the bottom of the tank and Cloud quickly drags him out, his tail arching back to balance the weight.

When the guards come for them, the scientists following, the tail makes quick work of them too, lashing and ripping through bone and flesh with even more ease than it had with glass, leaving behind bloodied, broken bodies and torn off limbs. Cloud ignores them and the blood he himself is splattered with, and drags Zack with him away from the laboratories, away from the basement, away.

The showers in the mansion above are enough to wash away the Mako, but the tail stays where it is, long and sinewy. While Cloud experiments with the claws, trying to take hold of the shower head with the pincer like claws, they rip the thing into pieces, making the water spill every which way from the ruined shower head.

That's when Zack wakes up, under the water, and stares at him. "Cloud?" the other asks, looking at him like he doesn't recognize him. "Cloud."

"Zack," Cloud answers – growls though mouth with too many teeth, mouth that opens too wide. Wincing, Cloud touches his cheeks which feel as if they've been ripped open, the corners of his lips reaching further back than they naturally should. "Zack, they – did…" His voice sounds like it comes below ground, rumbling in his throat like a half swallowed roar.

The tail lashes out, agitated, and claws the bathroom tiles into a ruin and then Zack is there, holding him. "Cloud," he says again, and it's almost enough to calm Cloud down. Almost.

But he can see his hands now and his fingers end in claws, and he realises he hasn't stood up once – that he probably even can't because his legs are strange now, the shape all wrong, and his body isn't right anymore. His tail lashes out again and punches holes through the walls. Zack holds him tighter, through the panicked fit and ensuring destruction until Cloud calms down, just enough, to begin sobbing instead.

Later, they escape the mansion – though not before going through the research files and setting it all on fire in revenge for damage they can do nothing to undo.

I'm seeing a lot of people talking about Poke Pika/Vee and Gen 8 not coming until late 2019.

And here I 95% sure that the anime is going to have to have another filler arc of some sort (Journey through Kanto again is probably most likely to tie into Let's Go?) to pad out the time until them because all things considered, there really isn't enough things left in Alola to pad out the time on its own. (They could probably stretch it out until the end of this year but I really don't think they're going to be able to do it for next year.

There is probably going to be fire, fury and some very vocal salty people and I am going to enjoy it when everybody else catches up to this fact.

It is going to be glorious!
