Manga Rec!
I liked the main story a lot; it's really cute. And there's really not a bunch of sex or anything at all graphic in it, which I liked as well because the story didn't need it. I'm kind of sad it's just a one-off and not a series.
(There is some other little bonus story about some other characters and plot line that they tossed in at the end of this book but I didn't like that one at all.)

Manga Review: Stolen Heart
Tumblr media
Finally getting around to posting a real review for this blog! Many thanks to cyanparade  for bringing this book to my (and many others’) attention. Stolen Heart was first published in 2002, with a story by Maki Kanamaru and art by Yukine Honami, and while it definitely bears many of the common shortcomings of the early 00s era of BL (and the genre as a whole), it does have its own distinct charm.

I’ve just recommended a bunch of yaoi manga on Facebook to someone who asked. I figured I’d share them here as well. :)
First, here’s Desire, by Maki Kazumi and Yukine Honami. It’s a school boy romance with beautiful art work. Warning, it does get non-consensual at times, but it has a happy ending.
Second, Only the Ring Finger Knows. It’s the first June publication I bought, back when it was DNP.  Also a school boy romance with a comedy of errors and confused feelings worthy of Jane Austen.

favorite yaoi mangakas/artists? and possibly explain why you like them?thanks!!^^
haha it’s been years since I was ~into yaoi~
But I do actively follow kii kanna’s work (I love her backgrounds that give her stories good setting atmosphere, and her stories tend to avoid the melodramatic quality that a lot of yaoi has), and I had a really strong shinomiya shino kick a few years ago (her art style is very cute and simplified). there are some other artists I found thru following onBLUE’s (a BL publication) twitter, but I can’t bring any of their names to mind and I don’t really read their stuff, just follow them on twitter XD; back in the DAY I really liked honami yukine for her soft-looking pen drawing and good grasp of anatomy.

ISML 2017: Saber Overcomes Odds To Defend Ruby Necklace
ISML 2017: Saber Overcomes Odds To Defend Ruby Necklace Souma Yukihira Also Does The Same, Scalping Saitama To Win Ruby Pendant
By Jo-Ryan Salazar The Bedlam On Baltic Avenue October 26, 2017
Match Day 7 of the 2017 International Saimoe League is a done deal and in one of the biggest upsets of the season, Saber, listed as a 50-1 longshot by the Bedlam on Baltic Avenue, defeated Megumin 2815-2122 to defend her Ruby Necklace. Yukino Yukinoshita was third with 1417 votes. Rounding out the order were Mashiro Shiina (971 votes), the favored Shiro (674 votes), Illyasviel von Einzbern (519 votes)_, Utaha Kasumigaopka (382 votes) and Nao Tomori (335) who has made a habit of finishing last in Necklace rounds and is already tipped to do so in the Upcoming Diamond period, given that she qualifies, which is certainly likely.
Listed a 30-1 dark horse, Souma Yukihira delivered a 2489-1777 scalp of favorite Saitama to win the Ruby Pendant. Kazuma Satou was third with 1162 votes. Rounding out the order were Kiritsugu Emiya (749 votes), Taki Tachibana (698 votes), Yuzuru Otonashi (549 votes), Touma Kamijou (365 votes) and longshot Yuuta Togashi (297 votes) who indeed finished last, as correctly predicted.
In Summer Seasonal action, Ririna Sanada routed Mikan Kise 2315-1266, Nozomi Momijidani prevailed over Yumina Umea Belfast 1947-1808, frontrunner Karen Tendou thumped Manami Mitama 2720-1271, Chris Yukine prevailed over Nanachi 1997-1860, Yumeko Jabami won the closest race of the round, a 2011-1952 barnburner over Hotaru Mizushina, Mordred crushed Riko 2911-1414, Ange whipped past Adeltrud Otter 2058-1631 and another frontrunner, Honami Ichinose, dismantled Mako Akagi 3119-929.
Match Day 1 of the final round robin period in the International Saimoe League for 2017, the Diamond Period, is scheduled for November 1, 2017. Vote for your favorite characters at InternationalSaimoe.com and join the ongoing debate. And keep it right here on The Bedlam on Baltic Avenue for continuing coverage of the International Saimoe League, the world's premier anime character competition.

Its time for the love triangle to evolve. Its just a bit muddled and complicated as we see the lovers finally blossom into each others arms. ITs a bitter sweet sort of ending...
If you liked the video share it with your friends who like and yaoi.
