I watched the Yu-Gi-Oh movie last night, I’ve never seen it. I’ve actually only seen the Bonds one so I have to fully watch the dimensions one, I saw part of it the other day but anyway….

Anubis you’re dumb lol I know the dueling is what the show does but when he showed up in the flesh, I was like “ohhh snap, Atem is so weak, he could literally throw him around this pyramid, he could literally probably just take the rest of his energy”… but no lol he decided to summon a female sphinx with a scary human face (Jessie is that you?😂) lol and a male sphinx just to then get outplayed by Atem. Like clearly you have no qualms cheating as you put the Pyramid of Light card in Pegasus’s deck for Kaiba to find in addition to the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon… which also surprised he didn’t know that card existed but eh I guess being 5000 years old maybe he just doesn’t know things about the game.

In the moment I really thought that Atem was gonna be taken and Yugi was gonna have to work with Kaiba to beat Anubis.

I don’t know, I thought he’d be smarter than that. It was as just that this was the first time that Atem was soooo in danger of losing (prior to the whole Dartz situation) AND he was physically sooo weak. Idk maybe it’s just the author in me but I would have continued to make Atem have a bad day lol.

I was rewatching Dark Side of Dimensions and there is a scene in there that is so funny to after realizing the setting and what's going on.

Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't seen the movie.

Okay so right before Yugi and Seto duel, Yugi tells Seto about how the Pharaoh isn't coming back and "I know you badly want to duel him" and of course, Seto objects to this.

What makes that scene funny is they're saying all this in the middle of a stadium with microphones on. So actual crowds of people are witnessing them having this argument about a dead guy.

IN THE MIDDLE OF A STADIUM, LIGHTS AND CAMERAS ON. LOOK!!

Imagine being someone other than Anzu, Jou, Bakura and Honda witnessing this and thinking "is this a skit or something"?

Seto really demanding Yugi to get possessed again IN FRONT OF TONS OF PEOPLE.
