Sakurai Sho MC Special Program Yokoyama Yu (SUPER EIGHT), Ito Asako, MOKA&IROHA (ILLIT) - What was "the longest day of their lives"?

Today, February 2nd, from 15.00 P.M. to 16.30 P.M. on japanese time and on 07.00. A.M. to 08.30. A.M. on european time, on "Nippon TV" will broadcast a special program called "The Longest Day of My Life" hosted by Sakurai Sho.

This is the second episode following the first episode that aired on October 13th last year. This program will bring you the experiences of the longest day of celebrities who have lived dramatic lives, through reenactments based on interviews with the celebrities themselves and studio talk.

Studio guests include Yokoyama Yu (SUPER EIGHT), Ito Asako, Kimura Subaru, Seiya (Shimofuri Myojo), and MOKA & IROHA ("ILLIT"), who will be appearing on a variety show for the first time!

■Yokoyama Yu ("SUPER EIGHT"): The day of his beloved younger brother's wedding

The "longest day of his life" that Yokoyama chose was June 18, 2016. It was the day he presented a special surprise as an older brother at his beloved younger brother's wedding.

As the eldest of three brothers, Yokoyama has supported his family since he was young, and has sometimes acted as a father figure to protect his younger brothers. On the big day of his brother's wedding, Yokoyama planned a surprise. What did he present after practicing hard for three months between work?

This time, we interviewed Yokoyama's younger brother in detail and recreated Yokoyama's important day in full! Looking back on his brother's wedding, what will Yokoyama say?

■Ito Asako: The day I got my first boyfriend

Ito chose "the longest day of my life" to be the day of her first love, when she was 20 years old and working part-time as a pool attendant at a city hotel. "It was like a movie," she recalls.

When looking back on that time, Southern All Stars' "Manatsu no Kajitsu" and "Orion Ring" are indispensable. Why? Look forward to Ito's story of first love, who says, "That day was youth itself."

■MOKA & IROHA ("ILLIT"): The final day of the audition that decided their fate

The Japanese members of "ILLIT", MOKA and IROHA, chose September 1, 2023 as the "longest day of their lives." The moment they were selected as debut members on the survival show "R U Next?" They look back on that "longest day of their lives" with the studio members.

In addition, Yokoyama makes a baptismal remark to MOKA and IROHA, who are appearing on a talk variety show for the first time! Are there any moments when they are embarrassed? In the studio, MOKA and IROHA are moved by a surprise gift from MOKA's grandmother!

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon - The (NEW) Super Live

<< Comment: Yu returns as Venus after playing her in both the original version of TSL (Team ♢, Team America) and on Shining Moon Tokyo! Sufa also played Tux in SMT. Marissa recently played Human Luna (Kaguya, Chronicle).

This time they didn't cast a Kunzite though! That's a shame. But since Beryl is still around, I wonder if the ensemble will dress as the 4 Shitennou at some point, or if they will just play generic youma (probably the later, I guess).

Regarding costumes, the fukus look just like the ones in recent myus (Kaguya, Chronicle). Which is funny since Nogimyu 2024 used fukus kinda similar to TSL (I said kinda). Beryl's reminds me of the one in Nogimyu. Mamoru's tux doesn't have the distinct og TSL look either.

So yes, lots of changes, but they're still calling it The Super Live, so I expect it to have a similar format, i.e. little to no dialogue and lots of instrumental music (plus a few with lyrics) to break the language barrier, as it's focused on an international audience.

Also, they used the original TSL banner for this announcement, but considering all the changes one would think they would use a different poster. Maybe later on? Or not. Usually the poster comes with the announcement... >>

[전시소개] PRNT 2월 전시는 도쿄의 독립서점 포포타무와 공동기획한 「왔다리- 갔다리 in Seoul」 입니다. 「왔다리-갔다리」는 PRNT와 포포타무의 교류전시 이름으로, 2024년 도쿄의 포포타무에서 선정한 10명의 작가님들이 서울에 위치한 PRNT 갤러리에서 첫번째 전시를 진행합니다. 겨울의 끝자락, 정성 가득한 작품을 감상하며 따뜻한 봄의 기운을 느껴 보시기 바랍니다.

February‘s exhibition, Wattari-Kattari in Seoul, is co-organized by Popotame, an independent bookstore in Tokyo. Ten artists selected by Popotame will be featured in a group exhibition at the PRNT Gallery.
