An Indian teen's groundbreaking invention, a 'smart armband,' aims to transform dementia care
An Indian teen invented a gadget that brought immense hope to dementia care. This gadget helps in assisting people with Alzheimer’s disease, especially those who like to wander around but always end up getting lost.

A random ask for you: is there anything you got into recently (book series, tv series, game) that you didn’t expect to enjoy or were hesitant to try but ended up really liking? 😊
Oh man, REALLY loving Dark Winds on Netflix. I was afraid it wouldn't be good. It's really good.
Zahn McClarnon, the man they cast to play Leaphorn, is just incredible. It's like they put out a casting call for "a cool dude" and got the perfect match. I love him. He does such an incredible job. He plays the character in a very controlled way, most of it being in his face. The show is fairly serious but there's a lot of humor (not comedy but humor) and the way he brings humor into the performance without ever overplaying it is fantastic. He reminds me of my grandfather, who didn't laugh out loud much but you could still tell he was laughing. Just secretly, with a little smile and a glint in his eye. Unlike my grandfather, I find him very attractive. He has an interesting face I could never get tired of watching. Also he is short which is fucking delightful.
Anyway yeah the rest of the show is really good too. I hope they don't Netflix it.

Tony was walking around the Expo, kind of bored of it.
As he saw a young boy working on something, it looked like an energy source. And he put his hand out and read about the Patent the boy seemed to have written.
It had a few errors, but with his young age, it was normal. He would have Jarvis and Pepper look over it later, so the boy isn't ripped off and cheated of his idea and money.
Tony found something interesting, and this will be a joy for him.
Danny, who was happy to have finished building the Fenton energy source from his memories, took a bit to fix it so that it used the Air and Wind in a room. It was weaker than what his parents created, but still very effective.
He could get money from it as he would like more pocket Money.

closed starter for @gollldrush and our never-ending world of AUs
"I'm sorry...dollars?" Arlo stares blankly at the woman behind the front desk of the ratty little motel--the fifth one that he's wandered into and been told to give some sort of currency he didn't understand. Eyes narrow a little at her, trying to decipher what she means and she looks at him like he's a madman.
"I have..." He digs in his pockets for a moment and finally pulls out a handful of bits and bobs that certainly couldn't be described as money...Not in this world anyway. "Three coins, two buttons, 6 scraps, a few gems, that's a fleck of gold, an idea on a slip of paper and, um..." Lips purse in thought and then he's pulling up a long bit of thread from his other pocket. "Oh! This cord of three." A smile.
˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆✧.*ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ . . .
Moments later, he's being tossed outside rather forcefully by a pair of police who urge him to find somewhere else to stay since squatting out here was, in fact, illegal. But if he hadn't the funds to pay for a room, then...Where else was he to sleep?
By now, Arlo's wandered down the streets and away from the bustling parts of the city, finding comfort under a bridge where a small bench is hidden away, covered in grime and slightly damp. A chill runs down his spine, the frigid night air of this place catching him by surprise. As he plops down, the bench creeks unsteadily, but luckily seems mostly stable. Suitcase settled beside him, he heaves out a sigh. Perhaps sleeping here would be the best option...or, rather, the only option. It was far too late to go knocking on people's doors, after all. Almost 3 in the morning now...
Soon, eyelids grow heavy and the young inventor is slouching back against the bench, shielding his eyes to the best of his ability from the light of street lamps whirring overhead as he starts to drift off. . .⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
He's not asleep for very long, though, when he's rudely awoken by a police officer pulling him off the bench. A sharp gasp catches in their throat as they stumble to their feet, blinking themselves awake just as they're starting to get their wrists locked into handcuffs.
"Hey! Wait a minute. I've done nothin' wrong! Just dozed off, is all..!"
"You're not homeless?"
A long pause. Arlo swallows back nerves, then stammers a bit.
"Well, I- I- I- I have a home, it's just...on another plane of existence..!" Already, the cop is rolling their eyes and roughly shoving him along.
"Great...Another drunk one, too..."
"Hey!"
It's quite a commotion and although it is 5AM and they're far from any residential homes, there are a few people on the street whether they're rushing into work to open up breakfast diners or coffee shops or heading out for a morning run. It's rather embarrassing to say the least, but Arlo is still stammering and arguing despite the cop's refusal to pay him any mind.
"Look, I know this sounds crazy, but I- I- I've got proof! If you'd just let me show you my machine, I--!"
