Finished yoshiyuki Takani study! This is my second oil painting after a 7 year hiatus. I feel really pleased with how it came out. There are things I would have done differently so I’m going to do another study of a different robot and incorporate what I’ve learnt into that one.

Been really inspired by the work of Yoshiyuki takani lately. I thought I’d try an ink study and see how different colouring approaches work. The first one is going over the original ink picture with watercolour and the second is digitally colouring in. Which of the three do you think looks best?
