It's not an exaggeration to say that Merryrose is ten times more annoying than his usual behaviour. After being cooped up in the guild home for most of his days, he's already a natural born attention-needy meister. What more if he felt the need to ask for a little bit more affection from you?

He won't hide it. He's never been the shy type and he's not going to start now—he would walk up straight to you and tell you what he wants. "Pay attention to me today!" He would say with a grin as if he wasn't asking for something ridiculous. No, no, he'd think it's the most natural thing in the world.

When you brush him off or say no, that's when he really amps up his game. He would follow you, hanging around you as you do your work and throw every possible distraction your way. From constantly calling your name to poking your skin until you have to turn your face to tell him to knock it off—to which he'll just go "Aha! You finally looked at me."

He can keep up this act for a while but once it dies down, you can tell by the way he starts going silent and there's a pout decorating his face. It was ridiculous to you but Merryrose was used to loneliness, and perhaps that was the reason why this was so important to him. He doesn't want to feel that again when he already has you.

And when you finally give in, cupping his cheek with your hands along with an apologetic smile. He'll wrap his arms around your waist and smirk—"Gotcha!"

As one of the most insufferable personalities among the entirety of Primus, he's definitely going to be annoying about it. The only difference is this host is a little more hands on with expressing how he wants attention.

You joke about how he's already getting enough attention as is with his job but then he'll wrap his arms around your waist and pull you in closer, saying, "Eh~ That kind of attention doesn't matter to me at all. I want yours."

He's used to his advances being shut down so it didn't come as a surprise to him when you pushed him away gently, saying how he still had work to do and he should go. Still, it doesn't change the fact that he's disappointed about it. And knowing him, he doesn't give up that easily.

The last time he was vying for attention, he ended up playing a trick on you with handcuffs. It's not out of the question that he'd probably pull a similar stunt. Anything to keep your eyes on him—he'll start thinking of other ways to keep your eyes glued to him.

Although at the end of the day, when he's sulking and finally stops bugging you, he knows he already got you to lose your nonchalance with the way you come up to him with open arms and an awkward expression that tells him you started feeling guilty.

Ymir “Struggle all you want, I'm not leaving you for as long as I live. Claw at me, bite me, I'll still never let you go ♪ I'm not scheming anything. I really do love you, [Name]. And that'll never change... because you're the only one 'special' to me.”

Victor “Hah... I really have changed, haven't I? Before I met you, I hardly ever thought about the future. Now, all I can think about is... how can I stay with [Name] forever?”

Len “Hell if I know what the future looks like. I just know you're still gonna come after me wherever I am, no matter what I'm doing. ...Well, do what you want. If you decide to follow me around for the rest of your life, I'll make sure you're prepared for that.”

CAMUS : Len, Sion's position is on the billiard floor. That is your area. If anyone is going to teach him, it should be you. LEN : Well I don't wanna! Get someone else to do it! CAMUS : It is part of your job as a member of Primus Club to ensure these newcomers are not accidentally exposed to danger. I won't tolerate any dereliction of duty. LEN : Ha! What are you gettin' all pissy about? That's not like you. CAMUS : ……… LEN : Whatever has crawled up your ass, don't take it out on me. As I thought about it, I suddenly heard someone's footsteps and looked up to see Seven standing there, staring at me.

I just happened to finally read through the recent event card stories, so I wanted to share both my impressions and the most hilarious CG I’ve seen in yumekuro up till now.

Granted, I wanted to throw hands with both Daste and Ymir at times but for entirely different reasons ,D Where Daste is just a feral pupper who can’t seem to read the room and may occasionally deserve a light bonk on the head, Ymir really pissed me off during the work-feelings argument. I wanted to punch him on behalf of Emma more than once, but alas, the MC is too much of a sweetheart.

It was a pleasant and interesting read overall, especially since we get more opportunities to see how Guild Keepers who manage multiple guilds actually work, and it’s interesting that the guilds you manage can be at odds, and you might actually have to interfere with their work if you work with another one of your guilds. I wonder, though, how Federation handles such cases and who files the report for the other guild.

As for the cards and character impressions themselves, I’d say what I’ve said to a friend who was interested in Ymir’s Moon:

Lykos is a gentleman, Daste is your pet dog (his words not mine) and Ymir is your love's slave (his words not mine x2) who can be your biggest lover and your biggest hater lmao

It might be unfair to compare Lykos to the other two, though, since I’ve only read his Sun branch so far, and Moon can be just as wild, but he was so nice and caring even in the common part ;w; Not that Daste wasn’t sweet in his own way, too. I mean, just look at him trying to divert Emma’s attention from all the racing thoughts she has:

Absolute gold and probably the biggest surprise for me considering the contrast between the Moon awakening art and this CG ,D

And while I don’t have any coherent conclusion to this blabbering, I’ll say there’s too little Daste content, and we absolutely need to fix that.
