I may be late to this, but I feel like it says a lot about how analog horror is covered at least on Youtube when Angel Hare, which is one of the most hopeful and wholesome analog "horror" series' I've seen, has videos talking about it that look like this:

Like, yeah it has dark elements, but it's not this horrifying dark show that corrupts children. Jonah wasn't manipulated into becoming a serial killer by Gabby, that's a fandom AU not what actually happens.

I may just be overreacting over something minor, but it annoys me that a genuinely fresh and kind take on the "dark children's show" trope where a guardian angel protects a child from their abusive father and comforts them through a TV show is treated almost exactly the same as Generic Spooky Face Jumpscare Tapes #57. It's all about the dark elements that accompany the story, and not the story itself.

Angel Hare actually tells a coherent and complete story about children's entertainment and escapism, which just so happens to have dark elements to it while still being a comforting series. At least acknowledge the story being told, not just the disturbing elements of it for the love of Angel Gabby.

what do you think about zora design? about past and current designs? how would you change it? actually!!! what are the zora (and other races) like in your sword of fate au???

got distracted by the second question. look at my little guys:

these are some of the current (working) designs!! from left to right it's sheikah, zora, hylian, goron, and gerudo! these aren't necessarily the average builds/designs for each race but they're the most important character from each race lol. sword of fate takes place really early-on in the timeline, so the culture and separation of races is still kind of loose especially among the humanoid races. the current generation of zora is basically the first generation to call themselves zora and attempt to establish a government or hold any authority alongside the other races of hyrule, and because they're kind of a young race i imagine they're less fishy and more invertebrate-like in this stage, hence my jellyfish princess! (her dad is a giant squid lol.) the sheikah are descendants of the original surface humans, whereas the hylians and gerudo are two seperate sects that both originally came from skyloft. the hylians built a few villages which each have their own distinct vibe while the gerudo took a more nomadic approach and roam the desert in small independently governed groups. The gorons are the most well-established race at this point, having been on the surface a lot longer than basically everyone else, and so they have a much stronger culture and shared identity than a lot of the other races that are still kind of getting their footing.

I personally subscribe to the idea that Adventurer Zenos shows his affection and appreciation for his peers in very odd ways (like yoinking the Students' taxes and dealing with their expenses and maybe also paying for some of their expenses but shhh).

i will always shout praises of bi4bi but given recent discourse I feel the need to say that I love bi4het too! I just love bisexuality in general in its many forms, and anyone who only likes it when it's 'queer enough' for them is biphobic. I react so strongly to it because I AM SO SORRY that people think Lily and James are better off without their literal SOULMATE. Like those two get the one thing people spend their whole lives searching for aka true love at the most MAGICAL AMAZING level…but people don’t appreciate that they’re the only couple with a direct patronus match from day one and I hate it for jily because love like that is so rare and important to celebrate. Like think about what that match meant to them on an individual level. James, who has loved Lily his whole life at every level. Lily, who had to have gotten the shock of her life when she realized what it meant as a charms geek. I EAT IT UP. They’re yin and yang, and I could go on and on—and I would if I wasn’t at work rn haha
