Unpopular opinion: I'm tired of the Style contest and the entries I see.

Every time I try to enter the voting, to vote for the looks I like, I get literally INVADED by floating butterflies and fairy wings.

The theme is volunteer? Fairy wings! The theme is dark shadow? Fairy wings and black butterflies! The theme is Taurus? Guess what? BUTTERFLIES AND FAIRY WINGS.

Of course! The very famous fairy Taurus! Taurus the EARTH sign, with wings! Dude, are you okay???

I won't continue with the ridiculous and completely off-topic looks I've seen, otherwise I'll finish just in time for Christmas.

I really don't understand WHY you have to use fairy wings and butterflies FOR EVERY DAMN THEME. I usually stay neutral, I never expose myself also because I don't like doing it.

But damn! You made me so sick of these accessories, that I can't even use them for my normal looks! I had put the autumn colored butterflies for one of my recent looks, but I took them off because I couldn't even look at myself!

Please EXPLAIN TO ME WHY you use them for every single theme. Is it a new fetish that I don't know about? Nostalgia for Eldarya and the fantasy world?

This took the longest, but it's not my favorite. I researched what muscle groups are most important for swordfighting and made them bigger than the rest. Also, as per usual for me, I didn't make every single muscle visible snd pronounced, since that's unrealistic for anyone who isn't a body builder. Fat stores energy, which a soldier like Lance needs a lot of. On this illustration his abdominal muscles are clearly defined, meaning that he's under 15% body fat. That doesn't necessarily mean that he is underweight, since he's quite likely to be so muscular that it's still a lot of fat compared to an average person.

While I made this, I was trying to capture a moment when he has his guard down and yet, my stupid ass forgot to add the double chin I've been thinking about for over a week. I think there's better blogs out of there that will discuss the game and that are more open to the whole experience.

I thought about simply not even touching it, I saw the pre-sign up and I was like "should I?" but then I just felt literally empthy.

I will be honest, Jason was the one that like grab my attention...... but I play Marius route in ToT and I don't think they can top anything that I have ever read with Marius' story.

Marius is a such complex and colorful character, Jason felt like a colder and edgy version of him and I am not sure if this is my what I want to see, because I like characters that are misterious, with some walls, but also that has a soft and caring heart. I don't get that last part as Jason's vibe.

I could go for another route... but nobody really grabbed my attention, I feel like Thomas maybe would've been my route if he wasn't Thomas or maybe MCs boss is more my speed....... but I never felt so confused about a whole set of Lis, normally, I look at one and I choose and I KNOW they spark something on me.

The new Lis of MCL didn't got not even a single spark out of me.

I'm probably just being picky, but this is so weird for me, nobody seems really my type, I don't think anyone is gorgeous/handsome enough to make me like, feel like I did so many times before with other characters.

The art somehow looks worst too...... I don't get what is happening, I don't like the aesthetic of the game neither, I kinda miss the soft kinda dreamy but toned down mood that MCLUL or even MCLLL had????

You know what I feel seeing all the things I did see of it??? They didn't cook that game properly while making it, it wanna tap too much styles (decor and customization), the scenary looks good but not a place that would really exist or interest me personally, it feels like a breed between Eldarya and MCL and...... I don't like it.

I don't think the story is gonna be anything extraordinary, I think it's gonna be mid at best and mid I already had with MCLLL and Eldarya, another mid feels too repetitive.

Hello! No, we haven't really discussed about what his potential AL could be like. I only know that her idea of Nevra is yes a bit more serious, taking care of all these responsibilities as second in command, but without losing his usual funny womanizer side. And this is what he looks like.

About fanfics, my suggestion would be to search the Eldarya tag on AO3 and add Nevra/Guardian as additional tag. Additionally, I know there are people who also post on watpadd, so maybe it's worth a look.

And he's kinda proud when you make a good joke at his expenses.

He's also funny without even trying. Sometimes he'll say something without thinking and you'd suddenly burst out laughing.

He feels like it's his job to make you laugh.

Of course, it's no secret that he can be very serious when needed, and a great listener.

He's also great with coming up with solutions to your problems.

Dating him is also incredibly interesting, just like him. The guy is one of the smartest people in Eldarya, after all.

He's one of those people who always have something interesting to tell, and will let you know of anything new he learns and finds interesting.

The passion in which he speaks about those things makes it all even better.

I thought long and hard about Nevra's decision to leave him - I criticized him, then I was sympathetic. Well, let's start with AL MCL : I've mixed feelings about it. I know I know I cried over 4 years over my Lysander - and it was justified - because I missed him, I wanted him back and now that it’s here I'm like meh.

I just get this sinking feeling it's ending for good this time. I saw my mcl life flash before my eyes and that's not a good sign.

Admittedly, what more is there to do with Candy's story now? What are they going to do now? Sure, they could have her get married and have kids, but a lot of people really aren't behind that and for me, what's the point? I'm personally not that maternal either(by myself that is), myself and it's not even with Ken.

I mean, due to the fact Ken has been killed off for nearly 3 years now, I've been able to step back and see the story for what it is as a story. There just isn't much there, in my opinion and with Beemoov, I can't see them making marriage and having kids interesting. I dunno.

I mean, as for me, since losing Ken and my real life love, I've just... lost the energy for otomes in general. These days I much prefer fantasy or even sci-fi, but Eldarya just doesn't cut it for me, especially since none of the available choices catch my eye or seem my type. I dunno, I'm just tired. I used to get so excited to play MCL, I always looked forward to seeing Ken again. It felt like he was real in his own way, y'know? I just liked the everyday, domestic feel of Highschool life. Sure, I love drama and sex, but my gosh, it's just... so unimactful in Love Life (I didn't get far in University Life.), it's just stress and stress and stress and not fun most of the time.

If My Candy Love were to become fresh again, there needs to be a new, innovative, coat of paint to bring energy to the game. Perhaps new mechanics, new ways to play, maybe do more than just a visual novel, but they just don't care about innovation anymore. They seem to only care about how it can generate money, how it can be comparable to other similar games. You can't even freaking play an episode when it comes out without visiting the bank. Holy shit, you can't play a whole episode when it comes out, much less replay like they expect you to do, without paying out the wazoo. Holy moly, I've said it before, but the player base isn't stupid, it won't generate anything but frustrated and unhappy players to be so blatantly not free to play. Not to mention, it's all a trick! The whole episodes, if you calculate it, are not WORTH the amount it costs to play them.

Sure, you can trick people into paying for bland, tasteless, uninspired episodes, but at what fucking cost!? No one truly enjoys playing like they used to. Even people who love the new LIs, ask yourself, are you really happy playing the game when it's not the rare romantic occasion with said LI? Maybe some of the drama is a bit interesting, but aren't we just grasping for something to hold onto?

We have given suggestions on how to better help them make the earnings, but they insist their master marketing plan is fool proof. I don't know about anyone else, but this is miserable. I'm trying so hard to enjoy little plot scraps that seem mildly entertaining like the police side stories, because I've loved this game for so long, but I'm miserable.

I'm miserable because I used to have so much fun in the community, mods used to be heard, the team even seemed to have more fun and enjoyed creating for the game. Everything is so rushed, it seems that perhaps they have fun with yearly events, and even I enjoy those, but now it all feels so grey and corporate. We used to have a connection with the game team, but over the years they've insisted on distancing themselves from the players. I get where it's come from, but something must be done, or it's just over from then on. It'll never blossom again.

I'm just tired, I ended up getting a bit spirited in the end and now my thoughts are all jumbled, so I aught to end it here, but I just wanted to share my feelings.

Everything just feels so wrong now. Everything feels so dead and stale.

I headcanon Valkyon to be too intimidating to be called out for weird behaviour so here's some things I think he would do:

Run to get somewhere fast. He's not late, he's just bored of walking. On any normal day you would just hear clank ClaNk CLAnk CLaNK CLANK CLANK and it's him running to the forge in full armour because fuck you he needs to get there RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

In The Origins he has poor bodybuilding but this does not prevent him from handling the bow unevenly.

Ayy so exicting to talk about this bc on the Eldarya forum I'll probably doing something with that it's just gonna take me a lot of time and patience.

The clan is on the border of the country of Aarkyus, it's in the middle of the jungle of Wilada.

Aarkyus is a blessed land and trodden by Ziz himself.

It's a very large country and the surface is mainly dessert, according to archaeologist only around 20% has been explored. Traveled there without members of Aar's guard would be mortally perious.

While the Lu Laohu clan is located in Aarkulas (in the same country) protected between the mountains and next to the sea not far from the sacred ruins condemned by the floods due to the earthquakes.

What do you know about the upcoming MCL events? You sound like you know something uwu

jokes aside I can tell you either what we know for sure or what I personally speculate

What we know: - Beemoov confirmed that they will release current MCL events at least until MCL2 is released. MCL2 won't be released for quite some time yet. They were working on Uncoven's release until the end of October, so I'm not expecting MCL2 at least until spring/summer.

- People complained with Chino because of the lack of spice in Eldarya and MCL events, and she said that she would try to do something about it for Valentine.

But this is only half of the reason I asked people to stick around. The rest is my speculation. Here we go:

Beemoov is currently releasing 4 games: Eldarya, Henri's Secret 2, Moonlight Lovers Neil and Uncoven.

- We know that Eldarya is 20 episodes in total, it's going to last at least until the end of 2022. - Henri's Secret 2 is a little longer than his first season but we don't know how much. S1 was 11 episodes iirc, I don't think S2 is going to be longer than 15 where 9 episodes have already been released. With its current release peace, the game will be over by end of February maximum (but I'm personally expecting earlier than that). - Neil is 10 episodes in total, 6 have been released, we will be done by January tops. - Uncoven is 8 episodes in total, with the same relase peace as HS, it will be over by February/March.

Of course 2 more games will be released next year: MCL2 and Moonlight Lovers' final route (Farandra = Farah + Leandra). However, as I mentioned above, I'm not expecting MCL2 before probably summer, so this means that from very early in 2022, Beemoov will be left with only two ongoing games: Eldarya and ML Farandra.

But, let's be real for a moment, not many people are going to play Farandra, so Beemoov will essentially have to base its revenue on Eldarya alone. Which sounds worrisome. 

These so far are facts. Here is where I'm starting speculating:

During the summer Beemoov posted this on its instagram

They clearly said that they are working on some secret projects. This was posted in August, by that time both Uncoven, Farandra, MCL2 and the wedding had already been announced. This means that since then and still right now they are working on at least one secret project we know nothing about.

Now, why do I think this secret project has anything to do with MCL?

Well, first of all, for practical reasons: they have to keep the memory of MCL alive for many months before MCL2 is released, and the events are not enough. Less and less people are playing them and by the time MCL2 is released people will have moved on.

Why do I specifically think this potentially new, secret MCL project will interest people?

Well........ let me be blunt: they have stopped saying they won't bring the old crushes back.

Yes, I know it's crazy, that it could be just my wishful thinking speaking, but the fact is that they stopped.
