This is one of my favorite yaoi manga for several reasons. One is the indifference to people that Satoru has. I relate to him so much! Another reason is because of Makio. He is so sweet and cute and then bam! Whoa power bottom! He is also mysterious and knows how to get his man (Satoru, who normally cares about no one.) I only chose one picture for this review because the pictures give away too much. Makio is so sexy. The skillful manipulation, the mystery, the misgivings, and the relationship are all awesome. And the sex scenes are very good. Not too fluffy, not disturbing. Just right. I give this one a 10/10. The absolute best!

It’s been a while since I read this one, so I am low on the details and side stories, but this is my favorite yaoi manga of all time. The uke is adorable and tsundere, but also desirable overall, the seme is a dream guy, sex scenes are very sexy, the main relationship is very very good. 

One thing I really like about the manga is that the seme (Takano) is trying to get the uke (Onodera Ritsu) to confess, and he of course, refuses. There is a countdown at the end of each chapter that lists how many days until Ritsu confesses. 

This manga is written by  Shungiku Nakamura, the creator of Junjou Romantica; Pure Romance. I actually prefer this series. Don’t miss it!

Sekaiichi Hatsukoi Movie: Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai You get to see yokozawa get over Takano in this movie and his new found love that he of course is reluctant to all the way till the end.

I will have to watch this!

In this manga there is a 15 year age gap between college student Jun and his crush, office worker Saki-san. What I like about the manga is how much the seme fan-boys over his lover. And I just like to look at him. I mean- LOOK AT HIM! DAMN SON. The uke on the other hand I don’t usually find very attractive unless he is in his work clothes. They give him a dazed look that I think is rather silly. But overall, I love fluffy and this manga delivers. I read all of the chapters and plan to read the sequal.

In Caste Heaven the school is ruled by a cruel and arbitrary ranking system. Azusa was the King for a long time and Karino was his right hand man, but one day everything is reordered and he falls to the very bottom, with Karino as King. Karino uses this opportunity to make Azusa his. This pairing is abusive and disturbing, but also very entertaining as Karino is a mysterious person and Azusa is determined to surpass Karino once again.

The one who was previously on the bottom, or known as a target, Kusakabe Atsumu, becomes the Prince due to the previous Prince, Kuze, choosing it that way. Their relationship starts out fluffy and gave me high hopes but it has taken a turn for the worst and I don't know if my heart can take it.

Overall, if you are like me, Caste Heaven is one that you might prefer to skip. I prefer the romantic side of Yaoi and this manga's focus is abuse. It disturbs me rather than giving me something to be happy about. I don't mind disturbing things and mystery but I like when romance finds a solution. The way it is written has caused me to give up all hope.
