Walks (April 10)

Dear Diary,

I went on a walk with my mom today, it was really nice, especially considering that I haven’t gone to Yangjaecheon with her in a while. It used to be one of our _ spots to go whenever we had the time. I remember that every time we went we would wear crocs so that we could sit on the rocks and dip our feet into the water. Today we went out to watch the flowers, and I got some nice photos. That was something I never bothered to do during my previous visits, my mom does always says photos are the only thing that will last. The cherry blossoms had bloomed, along with the yellow flowers I don’t know the name of. The willows growing along the river had also thrived, becoming greener each day. The great thing about Yangjaecheon park is that there’s a lot of life, you don’t really see that many animals lurking around the concrete of my apartments. Seeing the sparrows hopping around, Pigeons pecking, and cats sneaking was really nice to see. The weather was quite nice as well, since I spend most of my time in B1 or in my house, it was really refreshing to be outside. Unlike everywhere else, the sun isn’t too bad, it doesn’t scorch your skin, it just felt like a light heated blanket. The wind was warm as well, and paired with the heated rocks and the soothing splash of water, I think going outside and just enjoying yourself does really help you relax.

Yangjaecheon is a stream that flows through the city of Seoul, South Korea. The stream is recessed with major and minor roads crossing above it on bridges and multiple parallel bike and pedestrian trails flanking it on tiered ledges. Public exercise equipment is provided along the stream, as well as benches and a variety of flowers. 3.75km of the stream was appointed as Seoul Future heritage.
