Oh boy, poor, poor Erik-

While Erik is a true polymath and has extensive knowledge on anatomy and science, he’s never actually had a partner to know what ovulation is like first hand.

However, as true as that may be, he’s going to be all over you as soon as you make any implication of having a need, whether that be to make love to him or even for just some chocolates or cuddle time.

You’ll find him nervously hovering over you, his hands flitting about as though scared to touch you until they come to gently hold your hands for about five seconds before he starts fussing again.

He’s so, so, so incredibly sweet, fretting over you, your needs, and your comfort obsessively. Sometimes you have to put on that tone of voice and tell him to sit back and relax for a bit. Maybe you sit by him on his organ bench as he writes music and plays the keys to try and help calm him down.

Erik is incredibly desperate to please, but you may find that he is one of this partners who’s very like “it’s not uteri, it’s uterus”, so expect him to match your horny levels as best he can. (Keep in mind he’s older and doesn’t have nearly as much stamina, you’ll have to kind of pace things throughout the day if you want to pull more than four orgasms from him).

Erik goes for the full works. Bath, chocolates, he makes you your favorite meals throughout the week and always makes excess in case you find your appetite increased. He even pulls out a stunning nightgown made of the most comfortable material money can buy that he literally made from scratch for when you just want to be comfy or are getting ready for sleep.

And of course once you’re properly taken care of and sated, Erik loves nothing more than to lay down in your arms, curled up against your chest as you both drift off with the dreams of seeing each other tomorrow all over again.

Going for a more general approach, but pulling mostly from the book

Erik already exhibits many…nocturnal qualities as it is, even without adding any supernatural elements

He is not all too keen on sunlight; lives far below the opera house in isolation from society; prefers to lurk, unseen, in the dark

His skin is sickly and lifeless, weathered like parchment, and his skeletal frame struggles to fill the clothes he wears

Even in the book, he seems never to need to eat or drink

He even sleeps in a coffin!

If anything, being a vampire makes Erik’s every eccentricity connect naturally

Erik rarely feeds as he prefers to keep to himself in the solitude of his dwelling

But when the need eventually strikes, he makes a great event of it, wandering to the surface at nightfall, selecting his target with deliberation

He generally tries to target those who would not be missed from the world: traffickers, evildoers, the corrupt

Though he is by no means a force of good in any way

The phantom is careful not to drink from those in the opera house

As it stands, his relationship with the workers and management is strained at best, even before the new managers come along

The last thing he wants is to egg even more fools into pestering him and attempting to flush him out more than they already do

But in the case of unfortunate stragglers who wander into his domain of their own volition…

Well, let’s say his policy of not feeding from the members of the opera house can be overlooked in these…extenuating circumstances

When Joseph Bouquet’s body was found, dangling from a rope, curiously, two inexplicable punctures in the side of his neck were present as well

And when it comes to you...

His hands quiver at touching you, not only due to depravity of human contact, but also from a vast, irrepressible desire for your blood

Despite his gaunt frame, his vampiric nature grants him supernatural strength

I think this version of Erik would be more patient and restrained than the normal iteration of himself

Age and wisdom mellows out his more extreme tendencies

Furthermore, the extreme speed, strength, and hunger means he has had to develop the maturity to curb his emotional outbursts, as indulging them could wreak havoc

Even with all the comparative wisdom this vampiric version of Erik has garnered, he is still so helplessly allured to your youth and innocence

And if you show acceptance and empathy not only towards his physical flaws, but also to his supranatural side...

Needless to say, the Phantom is beyond smitten, harbouring an obsession too fiery and intense to even possibly contain

Being the object of his fixation is even more dire for you with this version of Erik

His heightened senses can easily catch wind of your position, smelling your trail with the ease of a bloodhound

You have no hope of outrunning him, overpowering him, or even the permanence of his death

If escaping the human version of the Phantom seems a nigh impossible task, then it will take a divine miracle to escape vampire Erik

Though, i will say that this is better than the frequently seen alternative of making him a funny goofy man who everyone hates for some unknown reason (the hatred would make some sense in canon but people always seem to do this in modern aus), most of the woobifying is done in the name of shipping (nothing against shippers or shipping btw i'm a huge shipper myself), where they take all the more 'desirable' aspects of his character, like his love of fishing and love for his family, and drop all the grey morality. They also tend to ignore his past traumatic experiences unless it works for whatever they're trying to do with him (which is pretty surprising when it comes to woobifying). Though, ocasionally they woobify or mischaracterize him in fun ways, like crack fics or character-reinterpretation, but usually it's just frustrating, he can be silly and a good big brother while also being an international criminal =/

Hi! I have seen your fics that include Erik sucking on reader's nipples. Since stimulating the nipples too much can cause the body to begin to lactate (without being pregnant) after a certain time, I was wondering how Erik would react to causing the reader to milk. Thank you.

The second you start lactating is the second Erik basically becomes permanently affixed to your chest.

Try as you may, you just can’t get Erik’s mouth away from your nipples for more than twenty minutes at a time unless you’re out working in the main theatre, and even then he may beg for you to stop by box five every so often so he can nurse for a few minutes.

Erik, being the way that he is, may actually start to have tantrums of some kind of if he goes too long without nursing, he truly craves to be lovingly nurtured in the ways he missed out on as a child, so letting Erik nurse on your chest is so beyond incredibly intimate and comforting to him that he feels the need to be at your chest at every opportunity.

Erik’s mommy issues are horrendous, so it’s no wonder he’s so needy in your presence, begging you to coddle him like a child and let him drink from your chest.

You know how kittens will knead their momma cat while they nurse? Erik does a similar version of that. If you’re still wearing clothes, Erik will clench his hands around the fabric tightly before releasing and repeating the process. If you aren’t, Erik rubs his hands up and down your sides or hips.

He does this because the repetitive motion helps to soothe him further and also because he just likes feeling you against him.

If you try to pull away before he’s had his fill, Erik is not afraid to whine and cry until you let him latch onto you like a baby again, and Erik is also very prone to absolutely gorging himself on your milk if you don’t stop him.

Ideally, Erik likes to lay on top of you with his lips around your nipple while your hand runs over his head and you coo at him, his eyes half lidded and peering up at you with love.

Kind of reiterating what I said earlier, when Erik is around you and he’s stressed or angry, he’s prone to what can only be described as temper tantrums and he cries out for you to love on him, and usually the only way you can calm him down is by lovingly holding him or letting him suckle on your chest while you call him a good boy.

Seriously, the relief that crosses his face once he has you in his mouth and your milk trickles down his throat is as instantaneous as the embarrassed blush that coats his cheeks and ears once he realizes, that yes, he did just have a meltdown in front of you, and yes, you had to calm him like one would an infant, but he finds himself too relaxed to pull away from you. Erik will hide his beet red face in your chest until you reassure him that it’s alright and that you don’t think any less of him.

Musical Erik is also more easily aroused by suckling on your chest than his novel counterpart.

It just feels so good to be wrapped in your arms and to be nurtured, to finally be taken care of after decades of being on his own, so good that it often manifests itself in Erik getting hard and needy.

Yes, Erik has absolutely no qualms about conveying his need to suckle on your chest, and while his musical counterpart won’t throw quite as elaborate tantrums if he can’t nurse, this Erik surely will.

He’s not afraid to mess with backdrops, cause sandbags to fall, and just overall sabotage the crew of the opera house until you can calm him down.

Erik really is a menace to all who know him, but when it comes to you, he can’t help but let his more childish tendencies come out as he clings to you.

Novel!Erik is extremely prone to over gorging himself on your milk. He won’t stop when he’s full, he’ll drink until he physically can’t anymore, and even then you’ll have to practically pry him away from your chest.

Because of his reluctance to separate himself from your chest, Erik may actually try to push back against your hands when you try and ease him off of your nipple. Of course, this results in him getting milk splatter all over his face and paired with the tears rolling down his cheeks because you took him away from you, Erik paints quite the pathetic picture of himself and he knows it, but he simply doesn’t care.

With how he jumps at the opportunity to nurse, you may have to remind him to calm down and not suck so hard, Erik’s thin lips don’t offer much in the way of comfort when it comes to him being needy whilst nursing.

what do you think would happen if, say, book!Erik was in one of his breakdowns and instead of just dealing with all his self loathing and sobbing, reader just… picks him up? I don’t think he would weigh that much, with him being so skeletal and all, and so the only thing would be his height making it kind of physically awkward. If he kidnapped you and forced you into living with him, then he would have obvious reservations at all moments that you might be vying for escape

But even if not, he holds an overarching belief that he is not worthy or capable of being loved and having a normal relationship, that you don't truly want to be with him

Be warned though, the first time he experiences the utter bliss of being defenceless and being cared for, he will vie for your attention and admirations very frequently

Hoping to receive your praise and affections, but too guarded or shy to openly express it

I think his behaviour would be similar to seeking validation for his appearance: trying to catch your eye and trying to impress you with his musical capabilities

For his part, he would definitely enjoy singing gentle melodies as you drift off to sleep

And his music would be the primary way he communicates his love for you, since he is both isn't accustomed to expressing his love in more direct manners

Even if he appears averse to physical affection (though this is not truly the case) know that you are the inspiration for all his compositions

Erik despite his soft vulnerability in these moments, still has a possessive streak within him that will take significantly more time to undo

He is, after all, an experienced murderer

That is to say, perhaps no twisted act is out of the picture when it comes to love

- no pregnacy or 'what kinda father/mother would x be' and stuff like that

- minors can appear as background characters (example: Jinx is basically Silco's adoptive daughter and i don't mind including that in any of my writings) but i won't write for them exclusively

- no rape/non-con or yandere (cnc is a whole different thing that i absolutely love, but, as the name suggests, it's CONSENSUAL non-consent, so it's not straight out non-con)

- i don't do ships, only 'x readers'

- please don't send me whole strings of requests - i run this blog alone and that won't change, so there's a limited amount of requests i'm accepting every time they re-open and everyone should have their chance at requesting

- don't want to sound harsh, but if i don't want to write something, i won't. i do always try to answer those asks with an explanation as to why, but sometimes i DO just delete those requests. it's my right as an author, and i won't be sacrificing my comfort just to write something

- and, obviously, don't repost my shit to other sites. i absolutely don't mind people taking inspiration and writing something based off my work (do tag me tho, i'd love to see what you came up with!), but straight out stealing my content ain't on the table
