Writing definitely comes easier to me but I’ve been teaching myself to draw over the summer (not going too well but for my first day I’m pretty proud)

Fall. no question. Pretty colours, comfy clothing, good food, etc etc I could go on for years

I have three piercings in my left ear and one in my right. I feel like that’s a good amount of piercings to maintain so I wouldn’t get another. Tattoos on the other hand…

Now this is a tough one. I own over two hundred books, each of which is dear to me for a different reason

- Chicken Soup for the Cat-Lovers Soul got me through many tough years and never fails to make me cry

- Elijah of Buxton was a book I liked so much that my famously unaware brother stole it for me (I gave it back to the librarian and she let me keep it)

- Good Omens is always a slay. I have one copy I get my friends who borrow it to annotate, and one copy I left untouched in case someone ever wants a copy for themselves

- Little House in the Big Woods and Heaven is for Real are both books I read often. The former was the first book I ever bought myself and the latter I have no idea how I got. I’m not religious but it makes me cry.

30) what are you looking forward to in the near future?

My sister and I are going to a pride flag raising event on Friday, there’s a pride parade that we’re attending on august 4, and I have something HUGE happening in September that I’m lowkey nervous for

34) what’s your favourite flower?

Poppies. I have always loved them. They’re often my favourite colour (red), and I think Remembrance Day is so beautiful. In Flanders Fields was the second poem I ever memorized (Charge of the Light Brigade was the first)

37) do you prefer dogs or cats?

This one is interesting. I have three cats and a dog so it should be difficult but I adore my cats and the dog and I… we acknowledge eachother but I’m too boring for him and he’s too loud for me

Amen - Amber Run: HESH. This pathetic man drives me a little insane I stg. I always think it’s fun to play around with how he deals with grief. Take that how you will. The ending is the absolute best part and makes me think of Hesh screaming on the beach after Logan is taken.

Divine Loser - Clem Turner: This one is very much Logan to me. Ik most people headcanon him as having a pretty energetic side to him, but I’ve always clung to a more “reserved” personality personally. (Perhaps because I relate to it lol) It’s mentioned more than once that Logan is colder, more methodical. I think he’d like to connect more but finds it hard sometimes “Connect yet stay opaque, I cannot have it both ways.” Not to mention he lives in his brother’s (and father’s) shadow. He very much watches what he says and does because he has so much to live up to. What he does is never enough, they must think he’s a nuisance right? The little brother and nothing more. There’s always a part of him that nobody will ever see. I imagine it’s suffocating sometimes.

Mt. Washington - Local Natives: No idea why, but this is kind of just a Walker brothers song to me. Nothing more to it lol. Feel free to drop your own opinion on it. 😭

The Weight of Us - Sanders Bohlke: Back to Hesh! Makes me think of how he had to raise both him and Logan. Elias was around, sure, but how present can a military parent really be? The military doesn’t care you want to spend time with your family, they want the job done. Anyway—yeah, I think Hesh very much had to be the adult long before he should’ve. It’s scary to have another life to take care of on top of your own, especially one you hold so dear. I think a lot of the lyrics sound like reassurances, both to himself and Logan. Also, the brothers were always destined to be launched into the military after their father’s footsteps. That’s a lot to live up to on day one as the eldest son.

Hateful - Cane Hill: Fed Logan, my best rageful boy. It think this song captures his fury and slight unhingedness after the pit. Rorke was twisted to believe his best friend abandoned him. Logan was twisted to believe his entire family and squad abandoned him. Talk about a kick to the balls lmfao.

You notice the way Seungcheol stiffens and his eyes slightly widen when he feels your touch, but he quickly laces his finger through yours. It takes you by complete surprise when he lifts your entertwined hands and directly places a gentle kiss on the back of your hand. He refuses to look at you, even when surprised gasps arise from the table group and your friends begin to bombard him with questions. Not when he had just crossed a line that had been blurred for so long, not when he is making such a haste decision so publicly. You can barely register the attention you're receiving, the only thing you can feel is the trembles of his hand that betrays his nervous feelings. It feels like the first time in months that you could truly breathe again, and the rush of oxygen to your brain is almost dizzying itself. For the first time in this relationship between you two, there's clarity in your feelings - it's clear that Seungcheol loves you, and you love him back. You lift your interlocked fingers and return a kiss on his hands, and place it on the top of the table for everyone to see. And from the way Seungcheol can't keep his eyes off the lipstick print on his hands and softly grins at you, you can't help but to place another kiss on his flaming cheeks.

I will admit, it's a little embarrassing since you can easily see the patterns of what I've been listening to for the past year or two. I swear I listen to more than just videogame OSTs, these songs just jive well with the story and I often find lyrics distracting when brainstorming scenes. Regardless, the music I listen to is such an important part of my creative process and some of these songs really defined the scenes I now have locked in my head. So I figured it was only fair to give them the credit they're due.
