Hey ghouls guess what.

I made this! Or am making it, rather. Still need to finish off tacking/gluing down edges, and I'm sure figuring out how to attach the hose is going to be an adventure, but this has been a really fun project.

I'm absolutely certain I've spent more on supplies and undoubtedly more in hours than it would cost to purchase a good replica, but building it to fit me and also learning/practicing a bunch of skills has a lot of value, too. Making this was a compromise with myself because I'm buying a lot of other pieces - boots, patches, shirt, etc.

This'll be for Halloween and I still plan on making the vest, chest harness, and cape, so I gotta keep plowing forward.

I was watching tiktok and I saw (who I didn't know at the time) Rain, Sodo, and Phantom play Square Hammer.

Immediately I freaked because it was so good and from there I looked them up, falling in love with everything else.

but I’m really emotional this week (damn hormones) and I randomly just sobbed into my pillow for like 20 minutes because of how much Ghost mean to me, like I literally wouldn’t still be here breathing without them, Ghost dragged me out of the deepest pit I’ve ever found myself in and gave me a reason to want to be alive.

Ok so, this is something that will not be "everyone's cup o' tea", and that's fine, but this is a little something I created for myself as a little early Halloween-ish 'treat'. Occult symbolism, but especially, the sigil/seal of Baphomet. I also plan on creating another personal saddle pad but for the band GHOST, as Ghost is my absolute favorite band, everrrrr. <3 All hail Papa ^_^ (could make the Ghost pad public eventually tho, or make a separate public download version) Anywho...I am going to be making Halloween-themed saddle pads eventually (I have not been feeling well, dealing with a pretty hellacious Fibromyalgia flare-up the last 4 days...oof.) for you all to enjoy :) (likely just your run-of-the-mill Halloween-y stuff...black kitties, bats, pumpkins galore, ect ect and maybe a couple...more darker...themes as well..depends on where my mood takes me at the time lol)

i think shoujo isekais are better because the fantasy of escaping the world we live in is just better suited to girls who live in a world rife with misogyny. then they escape to a world where they have power and devoted protectors. like full offense but guys escaping from a world where they're already extremely privileged into a fantasy where they have even more power? boring. girls escaping into a world where they have power for the first time? that’s interesting though.

I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings.
