Standing outside the medbay anxiously for a solid minute before saying anything. He does not want to be here, but if there really is something wrong with his memory, he doesn't have much of a choice. It's his best option for finding out how he's here and where his family might be. So he takes a deep breath and clears his throat.

His eyes flicker to the comm briefly. He could ignore it. But if he didn't give any answer, the chances of Bones simply overriding his door by force are higher then one may expect. Slowly he composes himself as best he can, pressing down to respond.
