Summary: Having been in an exclusive and stable relationship for the past 4 years, both Otabek and Yuri become curious about having sex with other people, but they aren’t able to talk about this clearly.

On the other side of the world, JJ has discovered sex rather late, only after his wedding with Isabella, but he still can’t let go of some of the fantasies he has had since he was a teen, which included having sex with his former rink mate Otabek.

When they all find themselves on the podium of yet another GPF, the tension that has build up over the years is a tangible thing, and a few hours later JJ finds himself in an hotel room where a very bossy Yuri in lingerie and a stern Otabek in a suit are waiting for him, and he doesn’t mind one single bit when the two of them tell him exactly what to do.

Hey Shit Bangers,

It is the 31st August and most of us made it (somehow).  Not all went to plan for many of us. Some of us haven’t managed to get posted, art or edited. What is important is that many of us have made new friendships amongst one another. It has brought a lot of us together into friendly, supportive and welcoming communities.  Something that goes far beyond the 31st August.

In the end, it is about more than the result. It is about writing, reading and drawing without being censored. It is about taking a stand against people who want to bully others because of their own personal opinions. A lot has been packed into these short few months and the friendships made because of it are invaluable.  

There has been nothing more wonderful than finding a group of people who don’t all like/feel comfortable about the same fictional tropes/pairings or artistic interpretations – but come together as a community.

I hope we can all raise a drink (alcoholic or otherwise) to lasting friendships made!

It hasn’t been about the result, it has been all about the journey.

My written submission for the @yoi-shit-bang! I trashed at least six different drafts of this, but i’m proud to present this final product! I was partnered with @inuleinonice​, and she did the most visually, artistically, and emotionally stunning cosplay any author could have asked for :’) click the link for the rest of the photoshoot! 

Summary: 

“Then that’s just how things happen. But Yura,” Otabek says, cupping the blond’s jaw as if trying to stop constellatons from spilling over the sides. “I won’t get tired of waiting, and I won’t leave you. I’ll be here for as long as you’ll have me.”

When Yuri’s tongue decides to work again, his voice is timid. Like a child’s, asking for his Mama to stay.

“Promise?”

Otabek leans down to press his lips to Yuri’s hairline. “I promise.”

Yuri read somewhere that birds have hollow bones so that they can fly. He’s always been full of holes, a paper snowflake cut out by a lifetime of hurts. Building up velocity for another jump, Yuri wonders if the wind will break him like a twig.

Yuri was soaring like a kite, burning like a star, speeding faster than his thoughts could follow. He was on top of the world.

Six months later he was ready to crash. A hollow shell, moving with no will of his own. And just when he thought he would get used to this sluggish emptiness, the flicker of restlessness flared back to life.

And he was back at the start, climbing higher and higher, until the air was so thin there was nothing but the long fall back..

Two years in the life of a manic depressive.

And all the life that followed.

They have been living under the same roof for months now, in a routine that is normal for them now, training, chatting and taking baths in the hot springs together. After the Chugoku, Shikoku and Kyushu Championship, their friendship and love little by little were developing in something natural and unique. But one day Victor is nervous over something that Yuuri can’t figure out, and that is where starts our journey. Or better, where an old journey of Yuuri restarts.

This is not only a history about love and life found in one another. It’s a story of man, finding in these the support for what he truly is and always have been. A journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, of finding in a person the acceptance he thought he lacked, the new step for this beautiful choreography that is living.

Posting for my partner KC (@shadhahvar here on tumblr). She did this cute picture of the twins with Maya from my story Here’s to Us on Archive of Our Own. Posting with permission...

The daughter and son of Victor and Yuri. The girl’s name is Katerina (Katja) Nikiforova and the boy is Alexander (Shura) Nikiforov. They don’t have Yuri’s name for reasons (you have to read to find out). Maya is their poodle companion. Makkachin is too old in cannon and although I love her and didn’t want to do it, it made sense for her to have passed away. I like to think of Maya as a reincarnated Makka anyway and although they haven’t had as much time in the story yet, I hope you will all fall in love with this trio as much as I have.

I love the art style. It’s super cute and reminds me a bit of the chibi recap style in the episodes. Thank you so much again KC for giving me some amazing art for this story and for giving me a last minute Maya. This is amazing!

From the So Cal beaches to the Central Valley desert to the woods of Nor Cal, if there’s music, drugs and a place to dance, the Yuris will be there. The people here run hot like fire - Live Fast, Die Young, Leave a Beautiful Corpse - that’s what they say right?

Only they might find out along the way that there are things more cathartic than even the best high, and some people worth hanging on to the morning after.
