Yachiru is very possessive of her food! Especially anything sweet - candy in Zaraki’s office is hers and if anyone touches it she’s liable to go feral. If someone gifts her food, she may deign to share it if she likes the person giving it to her - an example of that would include gifts from Ukitake! She’s quite fond of Captain Ukitake, and will often linger around the 13th’s barracks during candy-related holidays. If it’s a gift from someone she dislikes, she’ll still take it. But she’ll be bratty about it!

When it comes to food items, mainly candy, that she acquired herself? Be it through theft or purchasing it? There are only a select few she will share with just to be generous, without having to be coerced. These include:

Okay gotta pitch it to you:

In my bluebell fic series (where custard gets yoinked by Shadow milk) one of the oneshots is nearly entirely centered around vanillas singing, he never sings in front of others(except for custard as lullabies), but he's never sung alone because Shadow milk has been watching and wondering why vani didn't become a singer even as a side thing.

Queue vani now using said singing to calm Shadow down from his darkest moments, and maybe just maybe if Shadow is good enough vani will sing a song he wrote.

I'm sure we've all seen the outrage since the Natlan trailer released. The disrespect to the people of the cultures they have taken from for Natlan is infuriating, and the utter lack of change since Sumeru is apparent. Over the weekend, they have dropped the Stoneheart trailer and pulled Kaveh out of the basement to try and distract, they have changed up their hashtags to try and avoid the criticism in the #GenshinNatlan hashtags. They have avoided and remained silent.

There are characters that are very important to me- Ajax, Furina, Arlecchino, Robin and Sunday- for their stories, but the treatment of its community by Hoyo is something that is making it hard for me to enjoy the overall game. I will continue to support fanartists, and my moots on here who pour so much love into these characters, but I will be taking a select few of my muses and distancing them from Hyv by exploring them in other settings.

This will be Ajax (here, dehvours), Topaz (blog a wip), Arle and Bina (ruinare; with the caveat I may be making major changes to Bina depending on the story), and Acheron (annihlism) and Ruan Mei (anagensis, extremely low activity). I may make furina and the harmony twins sideblogs, or a multi sideblog with furina + twins + black swan, but I've never been great with sideblogs T.T

In terms of muses I like writing with? i don't think I have a preference for a specific muse type, I enjoy any muse that is written well. PLOTS OR MEMES : They both have their place honestly. Memes can be a great starting point. One of my longest threads (50 notes!) on a different blog started from a meme! Sometimes a little plotting can help with writing a meme response too, a little context just to make things make sense, and things can flow on from there. I do usually like to have a general sense of the dynamic between muses to begin with, and a rough few plot points for threads. We dont have to plot out every single thing (because that might away from the fun of actually writing it), but some basic points are helpful. LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : a mix of both is important. if you only ever do long threads, i feel like that might get tiring! but same with short ones. Length is needed for depth and getting more insight I think, so i do love them for that. i think a middle ground is probably ideal, but never easy to stick to. i tend to just go off whatever amount my partner has written BEST TIME TO WRITE : weekends and sometimes after work during the week if i'm not too tired ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : i do share Milli's absolute Love for cats but that's probably it.

Multi-part question. Fo you ever see a trope (on tumblr, in media, etc) and think "oh I wanna include that in a story" or "I wanna do a twist on this" and then do you, most of the time, actually include it or just hoard it in your stash for an ambiguous later?

I think the tropes I see here tend to end up tossed into some sort of brain-soup, because I end up including ones I definitely saw on Tumblr, but had no intention of actually writing.

The latest example of that is something like "antagonist joins the main group intending to betray them, but eventually gets tamed/redeemed/reformed and ends up turning against the Bad Guys." I'm doing it in the sequel. I think I saw it in a poll somewhere on here and never thought "Oh I wanna write that!" But it ended up in my draft anyway 😅 Somewhere in my head is a melting pot of trope ideas I saw in polls or other peoples' asks that my brain just yoinks from

It is baffling* and slightly horrifying to me how many people see a Weird Plant and assume it's GMO.

Now, in defense of the person commenting "GMO" about this pink pineapple, yeah, there are GMO pink pineapples. But you'd see them at a grocery store; except for their $30-50 price tag they look like "normal" pineapples until you cut them open. No-one is going to go to the expensive multi-year effort of bioengineering to try to produce this tiny danger fruit. (And i mean fruit in a botanical sense, not an edible sense, because I can tell you just by looking at it that this pineapple does not have much fruit for the effort it'll take to get it. Worse than a pomegranate or a walnut.)

This is not GMO. This is probably Ananas bracteatus, red pineapple, and then some specific cultivar. Cultivars are like dog breeds, basically. So it'll be called "Ananas bracteatus striatus" or something, roughly equivalent to "Canis familiaris chihuahua" though I'm pretty sure dog breeds don't get marked like that. ;)

And humans made chihuahuas and huskies and so on well before we knew what a gene is! Dogs are a little bit of a special case because their genome is doing some weird things, BUT other domesticated critters have breeds, too. Look at horses. We made Clydesdales and Arabians without knowing what genes are. Holstein and Angus. Rhode Island Red and Silkie. Siamese and Maine Coon. Rabbits, ducks, pigs, goats, pigeons, goldfish! They all have breeds and they all have wild counterparts!

Aside: This isn't how you grow pineapples. This person was asking the internet how to grow her own of this adorable ornamental pineapple that she yoinked from a wedding floral display; she has gotten advice to twist the top out and put it in water until it grows roots.

If humans are breeding plants for a purpose, the result is a cultivar. That's how you get cherry tomatoes and beefsteak, the little dark round watermelons and the great big long stripey ones, bell peppers and jalapenos, kale and broccoli (Brassica oleracea is the dog of the plant world, in terms of unhinged customization). Wanna see something cool? Here's a wild carrot i pulled out of my yard. My handspan is 8 inches almost exactly.

Another plant that I've seen people claim GMO on: grafted plants.

You may have heard that apples don't grow true to seed, that you "can't" plant apple seeds, etc. Apple genetics are a mess, a constant dice roll, you'd think that planting a honeycrisp seed would get you a tree that's at least half honeycrisp but you might not??? It's complicated, I don't understand, I don't need to, because there is a workaround: You take your one original honeycrisp tree and you snip off twigs and you stick 'em in slits in the bark of a different apple tree (probably a crab apple because they're really sturdy). Or you just cut the top off a young crab apple tree and replace it entirely with a honeycrisp branch. And once those trees are established, you can snip honeycrisp twigs off them and do it again.

And some genius people sell apple trees that have multiple different types of apple in them. You can do that! They're fine with it! This is also how you get citrus trees (and multiple-varieties-citrus-trees); a lot of citrus fruits don't grow true to seed either (some do, some do sometimes, plant reproduction in general is wild, Mendel was lucky he grew peas). AND this is how you get some artist person creating a tree that grew ~40 different Prunus fruits (peaches, cherries, almonds*, all the fruits that look sortof like butts) and having people freak out about GMO. Not what GMO does, not how it works!

*Almonds look like butts if you get them with their entire hull on, but you almost never do. What you think of as an almond shell is basically a peach pit, and the almond "nut" is the seed inside. Don't eat other prunus seeds though.

ADDITIONALLY: for the most part GMOs themselves do not concern me. Adding a gene to corn that makes it resist weed-killer is not going to affect the cows that eat the corn or the humans that eat the cows. What could affect the cows/humans, and the entire fucking ecosystem, is that they're enforcing a monoculture by dousing millions of acres in powerful industrial herbicides. Farmed salmon that grows faster? Cool, we don't pick up genes from what we eat, nothing to worry about -- but if it's producing twice as much poop or something then I want to be sure they're handling the pollution right. These are capitalism problems, not GMO problems.

ANGST: This is hit and miss for me based on my mood! However, I don't really mind it! As long as it doesn't go, too, deep into the deep dark side without being discussed first, or at the very least given a warning a head of time!

SMUT: This one I am funny about! I don't mind writing it as long as it's with someone my muses trust and are close with, not just going to go out all willy nilly with it, however I don't like to write it publicly due to the fact that I am very self conscious about my writing with those topics, and a few other personal reason of things that have happened in the past!

         The hour is late, but a certain Captain has found himself to be unable to sleep. It was rare for insomnia to strike Ukitake of all people, considering much of his time was spent resting, but he felt a bit restless and needed to occupy himself with something. So he opted to do something highly unusual for a Captain. He got it cleared and took over the patrol for one of the lower-ranked members of his division, giving said individual time off to go back to the barracks and rest. Patrols in the world of the living, especially on this route, didn’t usually amount to much; perhaps a few hollows would appear. Perhaps not. He saw it as an opportunity for a stroll, to gaze up at the stars and enjoy the cool breeze that accompanied the night. 

         So he’d ventured through the Senkaimon, restrictions in place, no gigai. Simply walking the streets of Karakura Town, keeping an eye out for suspicious activity, making sure he remained aware of any nearby spiritual pressure. Just because the view was lovely didn’t mean he could lower his guard. Perhaps he’d even bump into a familiar face or two along his stroll.

Ok I'm redoing the math of how many fuckin souls Estexev the Weird will get with the deal with the god of all physical Ik

In my previous post I said this would be Anys, then Andus. I'm now saying Ik bc that would make all the gods work together to help Estexev kill, at least the elder evil in Mekhor, Orgon the elder evil that Pask is tasked to be a warden of

I'm redoing this calculation bc I finally have some sources and do this way more scientifically and it turns out the number of souls Estexev will get will be way bigger than I've imagined

The deal is, as how I'm thinking of it, is that Ik will give Estexev 1% of all souls in mekhorspace and the actual amount of souls Estexev will get bc he doesn't want to have Asmodeus think he's trying to overthrow him is 1% of that. I might make that last percentage smaller but no smaller than 0.01%

Now, Mekhor is modeled after Earth. Based on this source, "The number is probably mind-bogglingly gigantic. The planet is home to 8 billion humans alone. We share that space with around 130 billion other mammals, up to 428 billion birds, 3.5 trillion fish and an estimated 10 quintillion insects (that's 1 with 18 zeros)."

Now, I'm going to decrease the human population to what the estimate is for 1000 CE which from this website states it's 275 million

I quickly looked if plants also have souls in DnD and sadly no but that's fine because what all I have to do now is multiply ten quintillion by seven which is...

That's... actually less than I expected. I thought it would be to sextillion but no but this is fine this gives us a more reasonable number

1% of 70 quintillion is 700 quadrillion and 1% of that is 7 quadrillion which is a more reasonable number but then I need a visual on how big seven quadrillion is so uh okay yeah that's still fuckin ridiculous. Like multi billionaires are racing for to become the first trillionare and even if they get there that is not anywhere near how many souls this MF bout to yoink

Now you may be wondering, why am I counting the beasts in this calculation? This is because of how the setting's reincarnation works because Andus houses souls in Hidul and gets them to be born again either to maintain the number of souls or have souls try again in life. It's mostly the latter so that's why not many souls leave mekhorspace. Sometimes the souls of beasts and insects want to try again or Andus thinks that this particular soul was being mean so instead of giving it to the hells she just forces them to reincarnate into a worm or an insect as punishment and after some time have that soul graduate from insect then to beast and then back to humanoid kinda like how in Hindu religion reincarnation and karma works

Now I'm wondering if I should add plants too but I'll think about it and now I'm typing this I'm realizing why not just have Estexev say 0.01% so that he doesn't have to share

MUSE PREFERENCE: Female first always, gimmie your females/female presenting muses because lord knows they get ignored on this site, also OC's first as well! Canon's are cool, I rp as a canon character ( @truepcwer / vergil from dmc ), but I wanna see/support more oc's since I'm an oc multi-muse with interlacing stories. Also, I lean towards more supernatural/special ability based oc's! Given this blog and the canon deal with those themes, I am more comfortable with those themes, but I'm always open to human things as long as my characters are respected and I'm not watering them down!

PLOTS OR MEMES: a bit or both! Since I'm starting to figure out my style, I tend to write more and lengthy replies usually come because of plots or a general layout of where we're going. Memes are a good way to break the ice and see if our muses click, and by then I'll jump in discord or IMs to give plot suggestions/dynamic plans for our characters!

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: Long replies! Mainly because short replies always end up turning into novel length anyway~ but I'm fine with short stuff until it gets longer. It usually just means the muse is vibing with the thread! That doesn't mean you have to match length!

BEST TIME TO WRITE: So typically, I usually write in the dead of night because I can focus better, of course this will change once I go to school again, but for right now I'll usually reply to stuff at night unless my writing partner is feeling motivated then I can write throughout the day! I usually check replies/activity on mobile and save the thread in drafts so I can reply when I have the chance!

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE: the three main Atlas' are a bit like myself, Rosalie being social and open is like me when I wanna make friends, Tyler is my anger and how I stuff feelings inside and let them fester, also with his music is basically my music, and Victoria with her introverted side. Of course everything is more dramatic for writing purposes but slowly, they're becoming their own people! Some of the events in my muses lives are based on my own experiences and walk of life but more dramatic

More Roller Coaster Rankings

This time is for Dollywood, which is a great park. It's like a step above the Six Flags/Cedar Fair parks in terms of theming and vibe. Super pretty in the mountains in Tennessee. Plus, there are a ton of soft play indoor and outdoor areas for kids. And a splash pad! And a bird show, and great food, and just a lot to do. So here is my coaster ranking!!

1.Thunderhead (GCI): At a very big shock to me, this one beat out the RMC at the park. I just had such a great time every time I rode this. In the back you just get absolutely tossed around, but it's not uncomfortable. It feels so out of control I loved it. I probably rode it a total of >30 times over the course of 2 days.

2. Lightning Rod (RMC): So this used to be the fastest wooden roller coaster and the only launched wooden coaster. However, by the time I rode it, it was neither of those two things. It is now functionally a hybrid coaster with half of the coaster being RMC I-box and the rest the standard RMC track. And the launch is gone. If I had ridden it with the launch when it was all wood, maybe it would have been my top of the park. Don't get me wrong, this is an elite ride and most people will probably rank this first in the park, but there is one HUGE pothole right at the bottom of the second drop that hit me hard every time I rode (also probably >30 times, maybe even >40 times which is a huge accomplishment for this ride in particular because of all the down time it has had in the past with the launch). Even when I was in the second to last row, which is the one without the wheel. That pothole really just messed up the whole ride. I bed if RMC puts I-box on the whole thing, this will jump up to number one in the park.

3. FireChaser Express (Gerstlauer): Yes the multi-launch kiddie coaster is my third favorite. It goes backwards and in the back or front row it is just a delight to get yoinked backwards and have no clue where you are going. I also just like the theming!

4. Big Bear Mountain (Vecoma): Another more family oriented coaster. This is a multi-launch new-age Vecoma and it was a treat! Super fun and speedy with some quick turns. A bit of airtime in the back if you get lucky. The on board audio is super fun too. Definitely a good edition to the line up and I can't wait to see what the park adds next.

5. Wild Eagle (B&M): An older B&M wing coaster (12 years old actually) that is just beginning to show its age. It has a bit of the ol' B&M rattle that is jarring in the back. Anywhere from row 4 and up is a pleasant ride, but watch your head on some of the transitions. It does get pretty whippy. Gorgeous setting at the highest point on the park though. B&M did a bang up job.

6. Dragonflier (Vecoma): Ok so this suspended Vecoma is actually pretty fun! A suspended family coaster that isn't very fast or long but is silky smooth. Enjoyable little ride. I'd love to see a bigger version of this new SLC because it seems soooooo much better than their old hang and bang models.

7. Mystery Mine (Gerstlauer) Definitely the worse of the two Gerstlauer's in the park. Although the theming is superb. These euro-fighter models are always a bit rough in my opinion. I haven't ridden any others, but that's what the POV looks like. In the outdoor portions it just shakes you up so much. Hard to really enjoy it.

8. Tennessee Tornado (Arrow Dynamics): Sorry Arrow lovers, I just have a hard time with their rides unless they are maintained super super well. Arrow used to be the king of all steel coasters, but boy did they age poorly. It is a big looper with two vertical loops and a sidewinder that when combined look like the shape of a butterfly. It was apparently one of Arrow's first coaster to use computers for the layout, so it was quite smooth when it first opened. And I have to admit it is more smooth than other Arrow loopers I have ridden. But it's still and Arrow...

9. Blazing Fury (Self built by the park): Ok so this is more dark ride than roller coaster. It is just roller coaster cars that go around an indoor track and then there is one giant lateral and one small drop. Interesting history with the park building it themselves, but not a great coaster. I only rode it once. And every other coaster, even Tennessee Tornado, I rode at least 3 times or more

Whistle Punk Chaser (Zamperla): I didn't ride this one. Although I probably should have as there wasn't a height limit. But it is the true kiddie coaster so I felt weird as an adult getting on. Just seemed like a standard up and down kiddie ride.

Sideshow Spine (L&T Systems): Existed prior to my visit, it got moved in 2016. Looks like another standard kiddie coaster.

Thunder Express (Arrow Dynamics): An arrow hybrid mine car coaster I think? Looks pretty cool, sad I missed it. It only lasted 10 years at the park before they moved it.

And a shout out to the park's drop tower called Drop Line for taking you up very high, spinning you around to look at mountains, and then dropping you very fast. Good time.

LAST SONG: Hypnosis - Sleep Token (I've had Sleep Token on loop the past few days.) LAST FILM / SHOW: Technically it would be Baby Driver, but I came in partway through movie night. The last show I watched was Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen on Netflix. INSPIRATION: I'm heavily inspired by media I enjoy. Case in point: the mw reboot trilogy, and Triple Frontier, and a whole host of other games and shows and movies. I also enjoy exploring different settings and character personalities! BEHIND URL: My other multi (and my first foray back into indie rp in quite a few years) is hvndredstories, which started as something of a fandomless/slice of life-ish blog, and has since added a few ttrpg characters, and is also where i do more supernatural-y type writing. The characters here were over there, but now they're over here on a themed multi, so I kept the hvndred as my tie-in, and battles because lsdhfshd cod/military muses (predominantly). I just thought stylized hundred would be fun for a multi, I can't really explain that one. FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I changed majors several times before settling into computer information systems!
