Wip showcase

I most likely won't be finishing any of these WIPs, but I figured that I might as well show them off already

This might be a bit long

Obligatory Bishop doodle

They turned out a bit boring tho. I wanted to redraw them properly, both with their bishop forms and follower forms, but I don't think that's happening any time soon.

The Lamb before the execution, aka Kora

That is Angel, before they became the Leader. They were born in the Lands of the Old Faith right before the Sheep Genocide begun. Them and their parents were fated to live a life on the run. It wasn't always bad, but it wasn't easy. Their parents sacrificed a lot to raise them. As you can see one of the sketches is unfinished.

Cotltober "You are what you eat" prompt

Gave up halfway into this drawing, but I think it would be a waste not to show it off. Like to think that the Lamb actually devours the hearts of the bishops to get upgrades

Angel's harem

Yes, Angel was supposed to have a harem. Funnily enough, most of them are women. Even funnier, only one of them is not jealous of the other spouses. I wouldn't be surprised if Angel thought for the longest of times that they were a lesbian. First one is Nana, the first follower of the Lamb, second is Ruri, third Sylvia (my OC) and at the last is Narinder, the latest addition to the team. The wives tend to exclude him though, due to the clear favorism from Lamb's side. Well, mostly Nana does, the other two understand Lamb's infatuation.

I wanted to make more doodles of them interracting with each other and a relationship chart, but I've been putting it off for a long time already and I doubt I'll ever get to it

And lastly there is a series of VERY rough sketches for Red District AU lore Those were supposed be Lambert's Isaac's (yes, I changed his name) family photos to depict the family dynamic in his life before he met Grinder

The first one is a wedding photo of his parents. They married young, Isaac's father is beaming, while his mother has more of a toned kind of happiness on her face. She's posing, which is going to be a pattern in these photos.

Second depicts the parents holding their first son, Isaac's older brother. They both look very happy, as they pose for the picture in embrace. A nice heartfelt photo.

Third one is where the tone shifts. It was taken some time after Isaac was born. His father, looking noticably more tired, holds newborn Isaac, while the mother happily clings to her first born son. Shouldn't it be the other way around though? Notably, there is also a bit of a space between the parents, they no longer as much as touch each other.

Fourth one is taken after the birth of Isaac's younger sister. There's notable variety of expressions here. Most of them are clearly forcing themselves to strike a nice pose for the photo. Couldn't hide father's judging look as he observes his wife holding a child that looks vastly more different than any of them, nor could it hide the mother feeling said look like sins crawling on her back. It kinda looks like the parents just finished an argument. Why did they decide to keep it?

Fifth picture is a graduation day for Isaac's brother. The mother is leaning on her unimpressed first son proudly, while holding her daughter closely. Meanwhile Isaac and his dad stand around as if they're not supposed to be there, tired, but still smiling for the picture. Isaac is notably thinner and than anyone else in the photo.

Sixth sketch is about Isaac's graduation. The older brother is not in the picture anymore, off in the college, arguably couldn't bother. Isaac is flusterred by the attention he's getting from his dad, who's clearly doing his best to make up for the lack of attention from his mother. She's just there to strike a pose and look pretty, holding her lovely daughter as if trying to shield her from Isaac.

Seventh picture is of Isaac's sister and her graduation. For one reason or the other, Isaac and his older brother are not in the view. Her mother haven't been this happy since the birthday of her first son, while the sister herself looks more like she's trying her best not to cry. At that point the young girl looks vastly more different than how she looked when she was a child, and clearly she's not happy. Meanwhile the father looks too tired to even acknowledge her hidden despair.

Eighth picture is a complete family photo with the parents and their grown up children. The eldest doesn't seem to care at all, the youngest looks clearly uncomfortable with the presence of either of her older brothers, and Isaac is trying his best to ignore his mother's killer stare with a cute pose. She's clearly not happy with his presence there. The father tries to pleadingly look at his wife, but she doesn't even acknowledge him.

Nineth picture... Welp It is chaos. While Isaac is strangling his mother on the dinner table, the sister is cowering in the corner as their father is rushing in to help in panic. The eldest brother, who's haven't been off his phone the entire time is taking the photo among many.

The dialogue in the 10th picture goes as follow, in case my writing is too hard to read. It was written before I decided to change Isaac's name: Grinder: "Lambert, this is a proof of crime. I think you should get rid of it." Lambert/Isaac: "Aww, that's my favourite one tho!"

Various SFW relationship (mostly romantic, but some platonic too) headcanons, one letter at a time! Very long. Sorry not sorry. I have a lot of thoughts

NSFW Alphabet here !

→ A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Doting to the mf MAXIMUM. It's almost sickening. He's not super into PDA, but he will always have a hand on the small of his partner's back and be the first to open doors so he can hold it open for them. This has a risk of other couples in public to start arguing because “how come you're not like that with me?”

For real though he is so affectionate, and it's always the little things, too. Like if he's on his way back from the temple and a food cart is offering a free sample of something, he asks for another to bring to his sweetheart.

→ B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Mom/Dad/Parent friend. Overly responsible, always offering to help, and it's one thing when someone comes at him sideways—he can take the heat (begrudgingly)—but it's an entirely different thing when it's one of his buds. He has an extremely small friend circle, and he considers them family.

Friendship progression is slow and really only happens if he sees them regularly: a regular at the temple or they work together there, they're his neighbors, etc. He's got trust issues out the wazoo, though (thanks Avernus/Elturel). So be very, very patient.

→ C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

YES goodness gracious yes. He loves cuddling, or any kind of physical touch. Big spoon, little spoon, it does not matter to him so long as he's in physical contact with his partner.

Though, he prefers as much of his body flushed against theirs (the more skin-on-skin contact, the better); we're talking arms holding each other, legs tangled, heads buried in the other's, etc. If his partner is also a tiefling, their tails will be intertwined as much as possible. If his partner is a non-tiefling, his tail will be coiled around one of their legs.

→ D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He's been wanting to settle down for decades. But, a Hellrider is for life. His career was always to be his priority: even if he had a family at home, even if his own life was in danger.

But the moment he can finally settle down, soldiering days behind him, you can bet he'll be pitching in happily to the household chores. He may not be the greatest cook, but he'll tease he can chop the hell out of a vegetable.

→ E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Oh this is a nightmare scenario for him. He'll exhaust every possible option of salvaging the relationship before resorting to this. Once he commits to his partner, he doesn't let go easily. But if it comes down to it, he'll plan it out and whip out the ‘ol “We need to talk.”

From being a commander in the past, he's not afraid of confrontation, but he'll still be gritting his teeth as he bites the bullet to end it.

→ F = Fiancé (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

As stated above, once he commits to his partner, he's locked in; he dates with marriage as the end goal. Whether he's been married before or not, at his age now, this is it. So, he'll take his time before deciding to pop the question. Buuut he doesn't wait forever, though. He's a classic romantic, so no games or leading someone on. If his partner reciprocates with the same enthusiasm? Well he'll be down on one knee in no time.

→ G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Paladins who swear to an oath of devotion follow a set of tenants, one of these is to aid others, protect the weak, and punish those who prey upon them (labeled under Compassion). A sturdy and strong hand to slay enemies should also be capable of being soothing and with great care to those the paladin is sworn to defend. Zevlor is no exception to this. Even if his oath is broken, it's still in his nature to be like this.

As far as emotions? Much as he may try to appear stoic and calm, he wears his emotion on his face. And despite having the flames of Hell sat on onyx for eyeballs, they show a lot. I personally love the headcanon that the flames will brighten or dim depending on his emotions and I will stand by that proudly.

→ H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

As stated before, physical touch is something this man wants at nearly all times. So it's no surprise he gives great hugs. They're so gentle and calming, and even if the person he's hugging is taller or bigger than him, they'll feel enveloped by his touch. And being a tiefling, his body temperature runs higher, so his hugs are nice and toasty.

He'll embrace his partner often, and he particularly loves hugs from behind (both giving and receiving). People hug from the front all the time, so coming up from the rear is quite a bit more intimate. He craves closeness in every sense of the word.

→ I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He'll want to say it much sooner than he finally does. This is sooo cheesy, but he'll be staring at the side or back of his partner, feeling that wave of nerves, butterflies in his stomach, and the swells in his chest, but those short little words are caught at the top of his throat. His partner will notice him and curiously ask, “What are you looking at?” and he will say, “Sorry, I… was drifting in thought,” until one day his partner will once again curiously ask with an accompanied chuckle, “What are you looking at?” to which he will blurt out “I love you.”

→ J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

This man will n e v e r admit he's jealous. But boy does it show. His words are short, blunt. He won't look his partner in the eye. They'll have to coax it out of him. Simply asking “Wait, are you jealous?” will not work. In fact, it will likely send him further into painfully obvious denial.

Since his oath and faith were broken and lost, his ego is um… quite fragile, moreso when it comes to things in his life he believes he doesn't deserve. Like his partner. Especially his partner.

→ K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are so sweet your blood sugar levels will skyrocket.

So, so gentle and loving. He can certainly be rough when the time calls for it, but overall he's slow and even methodical a bit; he kisses like each one could be his last.

In public, he'll give a peck here and there, but at home? Showers his partner in kisses. Everywhere. It's one of the easiest and simplest ways to show how much he truly adores them.

He doesn't really have a preference where he likes to be kissed, but he blushes a bit and feels soft and mushy when it's anywhere on his face (especially cheeks, temples, and forehead) or any of his infernal features on his body. If his partner kisses the back of his hand, he'll freeze for a moment, then the bashfulness comes out.

→ L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He loves kids! I'd like to think that if asked what he would be if not a Hellrider, he would answer a schoolteacher (shout out to Early Access). He sees children as limitless potential with an insatiable curiosity; they are the future. And of course, he's always wanted children of his own, and perhaps a part of him still wants to try…!

→ M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Slow and easy. Decades of being a Hellrider waking up before dawn to report for duty? He is over it. Now he can finally take his time and savor the mornings.

If he's up before his partner and isn't helping out at the temple that day, he'll stick around and read a book until he hears them stirring awake. Once they're awake, it doesn't take much coaxing to get him back in bed.

If both end up sleeping in, they're not leaving that bed for at least an hour after they wake up. Just cuddling and chatting, enjoying each other's company. Afterwards, they always make breakfast together.

→ N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Evenings are typically relaxing. After dinner, he'll read or write a bit (he loves his poetry), have a glass of wine or two with his partner, or any other similar winding-down type of activity.

He has insomnia and frequent nightmares, and no matter how many nights his partner will be adamant to stay up with him, the warmth radiating from his body as well as the soothing baritones of his voice guarantee that will never happen.

→ O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He harbors a lot of secrets and stress within him. He's very wise, but oftentimes wisdom is formed from hardship. He's reluctant to share much aside from surface-level tidbits until the relationship matures and he feels safe and secure enough to let his guard down. Even then, he's definitely someone who will still reveal things about himself years into a relationship or friendship.

→ P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He has a temper for sure, especially if a soft spot was hit. That being said, he's also quick to calm himself. Being a leader—a leader in the military, at that—he cannot let himself get caught up in the heat of the moment; he has to catch himself before it gets to that point, even if his anger is justified (see: the confrontation with Aradin).

→ Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He's got a pretty good memory, but when it comes to his relationship? Almost nothing will need to be repeated to him. Hell, he'll write it down on scrap paper and tuck it in one of his journals if he has to.

If his partner works at a busy place in the city, he'll remember every co-worker his partner complains or raves about. Our man stays on top of the work drama: “Had a long day, darling? Was it that Galawyn again?”

→ R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

I think Zevlor's favorite moments in a relationship would be the little moments. Hearing his partner's fits of laughter, how peaceful they look asleep next to him, the way their eyes light up when they see a poster that their favorite traveling bard will be performing in town soon.

And of course, it goes without saying his all-time favorite moment would be the classics: the wedding day and/or the birth of their child!

→ S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

HAh this man is a guard dog. Even before they become a part of his oath, he's adamant to protect his person, his one and only. During the budding/honeymoon stage of the relationship this will be extremely obvious. Lots of, “Dear, please be careful with that,” or “Would you like me to accompany you?” As if they didn't personally kill the Chosen of the Dead Three along with a Netherbrain.

But for Zevlor to be the protected one? On the outside, he'll insist he's fine and that he can hold his own just fine, he's a grown man, etc. And he is right. But on the inside, he'll be so relieved to be tended to. So relieved, in fact, that he actually feels a bit guilty (but that's a whole other can of worms).

→ T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Oh he'll remember. He keeps track. Never will need to be reminded of something. He's someone who has that uncanny ability to bring his partner a random gift and they'll respond “How did you know I wanted this?!” and the bastard will shrug and smirk. He knows. He just knows.

→ U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

His biggest one is he will easily and nearly automatically put himself down at every opportunity. Early in the relationship it's to the point he doesn't even realize he's doing it until it's pointed out. He's always had this mindset to a degree, but even still, he was a much different person in Elturel as a Commander vs. now. The trauma from Avernus combined with the aftermath of being blamed for it (and then subsequently exiled), as well as the events of the Shadow Lands, all did a number on his psyche.

I'm also not gonna lie—he can be a little codependent, especially if the relationship is new. It's easy to fall down that slippery slope when you want to serve others, especially loved ones. He may occasionally have to be reminded he can be “selfish” and accept the fact his partner can do things for him that he doesn't need to reciprocate!

→ V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not terribly concerned. Well, not terribly concerned unless his partner is young and/or considered attractive by others (though he will always believe they are the hottest in all the land), then he'll feel very self-conscious and in need of some validation and reassurance.

He does like to maintain good hygiene and prefers to wear simple, clean, and comfortable clothes.

→ W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He's a sappy romantic at his core, so once he finds his person, he will absolutely say they complete him.

While he had his comrades in the cavalry, all who were extremely close-knit and loyal to one another, they couldn't fill all his wants and needs. When they were able to take some leave, many of them had spouses and children waiting for them to come back home, and Zevlor had always lamented that.

→ X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

We got a nail biter over here! I recently saw this front-view of an idle animation as he stood over the map of Elturgard, and while it very well could be a generic idle animation not specific to him, imo, the shoe fits perfectly I'm afraid.

He holds his hand over his mouth somewhat nervously, and you could say he's just pondering but I don't care! He's biting his nails okay!!!

→ Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

In a partner: if they're non-committal. No guessing games, wishy-washy, flaky nonsense. However, he is willing to wait if they want to take it slow and work through some stuff (and he'll be happy to assist them in any way he can). He just doesn't want to be with someone who treats him as a backup or if he feels like they're just settling for him.

In general: I have 0 evidence for this but I think he doesn't like tight spaces. Claustrophobia, if you will. Perhaps it's a lack of an easy escape or is limited in his movements, but he haaaates it. Even being in a crowd makes him uneasy.

→ Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

After canon events, he takes naps frequently. All that stress and his nervous system stuck in survival mode for the past several months will catch up to him, and to try and recover, he'll feel sleepy a lot. Known to begin to drift to sleep while embracing his partner, even while standing (he will deny this if confronted).

He also snores. Not loudly by any means, but it's a dead giveaway that he actually made it into a nice, deep sleep, as he's normally a light sleeper and has some gnarly insomnia sometimes. Almost always falls asleep after his partner and wakes up before them in the morning.

Ranking Every Miraculous Ship

Categories: OTP/One True Pairing, Love, Like, Good, Don't Mind, Eh, Dislike, and Hate.

I remind everyone that these are simply my own opinions. If you don't like it, then that is your choice. These are simply the ships that I like and don't like.

OTP/One True Pairing: Luka/Adrien- I love these two as a ship so much! Luka's calm and relaxed personality would totally balance Adrien's organized, stressed, and chaotic personality that he has from being Gabriel's son and Cat Noir. Plus, I feel that Luka would help give Adrien the confidence to stand up to Gabriel while Adrien would be the shoulder that Luka would need so that he did not need to be everyone's therapist.

Nathaniel/Marc- They're adorable in so many ways! When Marc was dragging Nathaniel to the stadium in the Penalteam episode has to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen on the show. It's also really cute how the two of them fit together so well. They are both so shy but opened up once they discovered all they had in common. They would be the power couple of comics! An artist and a writer is such a cute artistic pair!

Juleka/Rose- Another really adorable pair! The two obviously care a lot about each other. Especially with how Juleka was one of the few people who knew about Rose's secret illness. Plus, Rose was also really sweet about wanting to help Juleka overcome her photo curse back in the Reflekta episode. Plus, they show that two people who look so different can still get along great. Rose is all pink and cheery while Juleka is goth and shy. They are literal opposites, yet get along like peanut butter and jelly.

Jagged/Penny- They went through their own journey as characters and people. Jagged first comes across as an arrogant celebrity with Penny as his "yes, sir" assistant. But, then we see how the two of them really do have a special bond. They care about each other a lot. Plus, when Penny was understandably stressed from work during the Troublemaker, Jagged grew to understand her more. They have more than just a "boss and employee" relationship. Penny is also an adorable second mother figure to Luka and Jagged.

Tikki/Plagg- First, I love their nicknames for each other! Tikki is "Sugarcube" and Plagg is "Stinky Sock." While they do sometimes appear like siblings, they also sometimes act like an old married couple. Plagg gives me vibes of being the cheerful and fun side of the relationship with Tikki being the responsible "voice of reason" side. They balance each other in every sense, which really makes them even better for each other.

Love: Adrien/Kagami- These two have so much in common. From their love of fencing to their desire to step away from the forceful hands of their parents. The two brought out a lot of good things about each other. Kagami helping Adrien realize how awful his dad's treatment of him was and Adrien helping Kagami embrace her artistic side even when her mother doesn't approve of it.

Alya/Nino- Probably the least problematic couple on the show. Once they spent time together while locked in a cage during the Animan episode, they found out how much they had in common and how good they would be together. Nino might have had his moment of jealousy when he thought Cat Noir was flirting with her, but both have had plenty of moments where they showed how much they cared about each other. During the start of the Scarlet Moth attack when both were promising to take the other to the movies once everything was over, it was adorable.

Luka/Kagami- Another pair that would be all about balance while also sharing a lot in common. Both of them have such calm personalities. They would definitely be one of those couples that could happily sit together quietly for hours while simply enjoying each other's company without the need for constant talking. They both also have senses of elegance about them. Kagami with her fencing and Luka with his music. Luka would certainly also help Kagami relax her "I need to be perfect" train of thought.

Tom/Sabine- They are the definition of a healthy marriage. There is not a moment that is not completely sweet when they are together. They are probably the best parents on the show with how much they both obviously love Marinette. While a little cliche, it makes sense for the owners of a bakery to be as sweet as sugar.

Adrien/Nino- I am a sucker for friends-to-lovers stories. While Adrien and Nino are definitely great friends who give off big "bro" vibes, they would also make such a sweet couple. Nino has already made it clear how much he cares about Adrien given how often he tries to help him stand up to his dad. Especially when Nino tried to get Gabriel to let Adrien have a birthday party in the Bubbler episode. Adrien has also shown Nino support when he needed it, such as going with him when he was on The Challenge show in the Simon Says episode.

Like: Kim/Alix- These two have such a fun dynamic. They would be one of those couples that like to compete with each other but also would have a very nice relationship. Plus, their height difference would only make their relationship even cuter.

Sabrina/Chloe- Given actual character development and they could be a good couple. When Chloe had been trying to get better, she did show that she was protective of Sabrina. Such as when in the Ladybug episode, Chloe shielded Sabrina from the scarlet akumas. We also saw in the Miracular episode that the two did have a sweet friendship before Chloe got even more toxic. It would have led to a very sweet friends-to-lovers story.

Ivan/Mylene- Another of the most solid couples on the show. They were the first teenage couple on the show, actually, since they were brought together in the Origin episodes. And they have always been shown to be incredibly sweet. Mylene's nickname for Ivan, Teddy Bear, is very adorable! Plus, Ivan is also shown to be incredibly protective of Mylene.

Kim/Ondine- Kim is the loveable idiot while Ondine is basically his brain. The two are a great match with Kim's energy and child-like attitude balanced by Ondine's seriousness and maturity. Plus, Ondine helps Kim grow as a person when she helps him realize how harmful his past actions have been against Marinette. Not to mention also helping him see that jokes are better if everyone is laughing rather than just him.

Adrien/Plagg- Obviously, I am thinking about this with the headcanon of kwami having human forms. If that were true, then the two of them would make a cute couple! Plagg would help Adrien embrace his more chaotic side while also helping him stand up to those like Gabriel, Lila, and Chloe. Adrien would also help Plagg find a balance between his love of chaos and a more sensitive side.

Luka/Nathaniel- Two artists being together would be nothing short of adorable and cute! Luka's calm and gentle personality would fit very well with Nathaniel's shy and quiet personality. I can already picture how adorable it would be for Nathaniel to be leaning against Luka and sketching while Luka would be playing a soft melody on his guitar.

Adrien/Nathanial- I mostly enjoy these two together because of my headcanon that Adrien is a big anime fan. Given that Adrien did pose for Kagami when helping her with her art, he would definitely do the same thing for Nathaniel. Plus, it would be really cute for them to have moments where they are simply in a comic book store and geeking out over finding comic books they enjoy. And given his love of anime, Adrien would certainly want to help Nathaniel with his comic. It gives Adrien a chance to be himself rather than being the "perfect model" while giving Nathaniel the chance to open up by being with such a bright and cheery person.

Rose/Prince Ali- It's the little details that make these two work. Since learning that Rose has an unknown illness, it made even more sense why she admires Prince Ali for his charity work. Because charities like his probably were a bright spot in her life when her illness was worse. Plus, being with Rose would give Prince Ali a break from royal life when Rose would show him how to live like a normal teenager rather than always having to act like a prime and proper prince.

Adrien/Nathaniel- Two adorable boys who both have different kinds of shyness. Nathaniel is the usual kind of shy while Adrien is more the kind of shy where he is socially awkward, which leads him to not be as open as others. I headcannon that Adrien is a big fan of anime, which would give him something in common with Nathaniel. It could also allow Adrien to help Nathaniel with his comics and art. Plus, despite not being a designer, Adrien would have been around the fashion world for long enough to help Nathaniel with the designs of some of his creations. Also, maybe give him some fashion advice so that Nathaniel would STOP WEARING THOSE AWFUL PURPLE PANTS!

Nathaniel/Luka- Another artistic pair. An artist and a musician. Plus, Luka's calm personality would help a lot with Nathaniel's shyness. He would know when he should push Nathaniel out of his comfort zone and when he should simply let him be. Nathaniel can also help be Luka's muse for his music. Not to mention also help create looks for Kitty Section and give great ideas for music videos they could do.

Good: Marinette/Alya- Friend-to-lovers is one of my favorite relationship tropes. It's adorable in so many ways. Plus, the two are very good together. Alya always helps Marinette go outside her comfort zone while Marinette helps keep Alya grounded whenever she goes too far with her ambitions.

Alya/Ladybug- Aside from the obvious hero worship Alya feels for Ladybug, the two have shown to have more than that. Alya has seen the human side of Ladybug when she helped her with Damocles when he tried to be a superhero. Plus, Alya has also shown that she is still willing to put herself at risk to help even when she knows there are heroes around. Which is the reason Ladybug gave her the fox miraculous.

Marinette/Kagami- Despite Marinette first being jealous and also trying to sabotage Kagami, the two later formed a really good friendship. Plus, Marinette has tried to encourage Kagami to stand up for herself against her controlling mother. Plus, Kagami's organized way of life is a perfect balance to the chaos of Marinette's life and general personality.

Marinette/Nino- Nino did have a crush on Marinette before Ladybug locked him and Alya away during the Animan episode. If he never got over his crush, the two could have been a cute couple. Especially since they are childhood friends, which makes it an even cuter take on the friends-to-lovers trope. Plus, Nino is also a naturally relaxed person, which definitely would help balance Marinette's chaos.

Don't Mind: Gabriel/Natalie- The two could be cute as long as Gabriel would get over his obsession with his wife. If he simply moved on, he could see how close he and Natalie had become, which could naturally grow into a relationship. It does help that Natalie is already a surrogate mother to Adrien.

Nathaniel/Alix- This could be a cute friends-to-lovers story. Alix could easily balance out Nathaniel's shy nature, helping him to open up more and take him out of his comfort zone. Nathaniel could also help Alix calm down and not be as competitive as she usually is.

Sabrina/Max- They would be a fun brainy couple who could be that nerdy couple that likes to spend time reading the same book in the library together. Plus, both of them tend to avoid confrontation and enjoy being on the quiet side. They would be the type of couple who prefer to stay inside to watch movies or read books than to go out to clubs or parties.

Nooroo/Dusuu- They would bond over their shared trauma of having to deal with Gabriel. They would probably spend long nights complaining over Gabriel and his lack of fashion sense. They could have a lot of fun making fun of him, his lack of fashion sense, and his horrible akuma designs.

Wayzz/Trixx- Wayzz would be the calm and thoughtful one while Trixx would be the wild and reckless one. Another couple who would balance each other out very nicely.

Wayzz/Pollen- I just think they would be cute together. Especially since they are both similar with how they hold a lot of respect for their holders. Even if their holders do questionable things. Aka, most of Chloe and Master Fu's actions. But, their loyalty is something to admire.

Sabrina/New York Boy- She was shown to have chemistry with him. Even if they did not have a lot of time and he did not even get a name, giving Sabrina any development beyond Chloe is great.

Eh: Adrien/Juleka- The two are great friends, but there is only a little potential for them to be a couple. The most that I can see would be Adrien helping Juleka get more confident because of his more open and optimistic personality and Juleka could help Adrien learn to rebel against his father.

Chloe/Lila- Talk about a match made in hell. They would probably only end up together when they would realize that no one else would ever be able to want them.

Marinette/Cat Noir- The best side of the love square, in the opinions of most people. They have had fun together while also being able to talk to each other about their worries and insecurities. But, they did both really overdo it during their "fake date" which caused Marinette's dad to become akumatized.

Marinette/Nathaniel- They are both artistic types and would probably make great art together. Marinette could even be able to help him design outfits for his comic.

Max/Alix- The pairing of a nerd and an athletic girl is cute to think about. It also is cute to think of them together because they are two of the class "shorties." Just two small teens getting together. Very cute.

Ladybug/Queen Bee- It might actually give Chloe the chance to become a better person if she were to get together with her hero. Or, it could end in disaster because it would make her believe that she really could have whatever she wanted.

Chat Blanc/Dark Ladybug- It would not be the first time that two villains would end up together and fall in love with causing chaos as a pair. It would be like a more "healthy" version of Joker and Harley Quinn.

Dislike: Ladybug/Chloe- A hero and a civilian would never work! Especially since Ladybug never did much to stop Chloe from being a bully. After Chloe nearly crashed a train by using Venom, Ladybug should have put her foot down and never gave her the bee miraculous back. Giving it back to Chloe only encouraged her in the worst ways.

Marinette/Chloe- I have no idea why people ship these two together. It's a bully and their victim. Why does anyone think they would be good together? I have never understood that whole "bullying someone means they secretly like them" trope. It never made sense to me and it makes even less sense for these two. Chloe tormented Marinette beyond just simple bullying. They would NEVER work together.

Ladybug/Luka- Again, a hero and civilian would never work. Especially since we saw how Monarch specifically went after Luka when he learned that Luka was aware of Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities. A hero dating a civilian would only make an even worse situation to that. Plus, if they did not work as civilians, then they wouldn't work as a hero and a civilian.

Lila/Sabrina- Sabrina already is basically a slave to Chloe. Lila is shown to also hate work in any form. So, any type of "relationship" between the two would mostly just be Lila taking advantage of Sabrina and using her lies to make Sabrina do all of her work for her while likely making Sabrina think she was "helping" because she was doing something for "such a charitable person."

Marinette/Tikki- Unless kwami have a human form, I highly doubt that it's possible. Plus, Tikki doesn't do much to rein in Marinette's worst personality traits. So, they would be a slightly toxic couple.

Marinette/Max- Marinette already has been shown to not think about Max's feelings when she joined the video game tournament just to be close to Adrien despite how much she knew Max had practiced for it. I doubt she would fix things even if she and Max got together.

Marinette/Marc- I am one of those who headcanon them as cousins, so that is mainly why I don't ship them.

Alya/Adrien- I like them as friends, but I don't see them as a couple. I wish they had more moments of friendship between the two of them rather than having Marinette and Alya being the friendship that shines through the most.

Felix/Marinette- Literally the first time they met was when Felix pretended to be Adrien and tried to force a kiss on her/Ladybug. Not exactly the best way to start a relationship.

Hate: Adrien/Chloe- Chloe clings to Adrien as if he is a piece of prized meat. She treats him like a trophy to be won and doesn't care about him as a person. While they may be childhood friends, that only has made Chloe think she has some type of claim to him. Also, she brings out a lot of the worst parts of Adrien's passive side since he did make excuses for a lot of her behavior until he fully learned how abusive her bullying was.

Adrien/Lila- They are very similar to Chloe/Adrien in how Lila also clings to him. And unlike Chloe, Lile had not known him for long enough to make it acceptable in any way. She also treats him like a trophy to be won and openly acts like that when she uses her lies to try and get close to him. Also similar to Chloe, Lila doesn't care about Adrien as a person. She only cares about him as the "perfect model" that his father forces him to be. Plus, she had also teamed up with Gabriel to spy on Adrien and use her lies to try and isolate him from "bad influences." Which basically translates to anyone who is not her.

Marinette/Lila- Is there really any reason to explain why this is an awful ship? It's even worse than Marinette/Chloe. Even if Marinette was not aware that Lila is a liar and was simply kind to her, Lila would likely use that to take advantage of Marinette's kindness while also manipulating her feelings. It would be like an even worse version of Chloe and Sabrina's "friendship."

Marinette/Adrien- I have made it clear how I feel about these two. Marinette is a stalker! The schedule she keeps of Adrien's activities, the presents she has planned for him up to his fiftieth birthday, the wall of pictures of him, the plans for their children right down to how they look, and the video she sent to him on the anniversary of his mother's disappearance to confess her "love." It's all awful! It's one thing to have a celebrity crush, but it's another to be as obsessed as she is. Adrien may have a file of pictures of Ladybug and a bunch of her merchandise, but it's nowhere near as extreme as how Marinette behaves with him. Plus, as a superhero, there is no doubt there are tons of people who have the same stuff for Ladybug.

Luka/Lila- Did the two of them ever even officially meet on the show? People usually have Luka as one of those who remain on Marinette's side when others turn against her because of Lila. But, I don't think Luka has ever even met her. But, despite that, I don't think they could ever work. Luka is the best character on the show. He's calm, kind, empathetic, and protective. He's the opposite of Lila in every way. Given his ability to hear the inner songs of the people he meets, he would likely get a headache from being around Lila and forced to hear whatever noise her inner "song" would be.

Kim/Chloe- Chloe would bring out the worst in Kim. And she has done so before. She was the reason Kim had been a bully when she influenced him to do that awful prank against Marinette by using her fear of bugs against her. Plus, it's hard to forget that even when Kim did have a crush on her, Chloe stomped on his heart by insulting him and the gift he got her, which got him akumatized into Dark Cupid.

Ladybug/Adrien- Ladybug's common sense pretty much goes right out the window whenever Adrien is involved. During Volpina's first appearance, when she created an illusion of dangling him off the Eiffel Tower, Ladybug was incredibly close to giving up her earrings if it hadn't been for Cat Noir destroying the illusion. Ladybug knew Volpina's powers were illusions and still believed it just because it was an illusion of Adrien in danger. Also, Ladybug abused her powers during the Bubbler episode when she used her lucky charm to stop Adrien from slow dancing with Chloe. Also, with Adrien, it's never a good idea to date your celebrity crush. It's bound to end badly.

Luka/Chloe- Another pair that never officially met on the show. The only time the two have interacted was during Miracle Queen when Chloe had Luka under her control and she used him to fight against Ladybug and Cat Noir. And while she did say he was cute, she also immediately insulted him by saying he looked like he got his clothes out of the trash. Luka would never put up with any of her bratty behavior and would call her out every time she would act like that. Plus, once he would hear that Chloe was the reason Juleka was akumatized into Reflekta, on two different occasions, he'd never want to date her.

Luka/Marinette- The two of them failed completely as a couple on the show. For starters, he had only been Marinette's rebound when she tried to get over Adrien and failed completely since she honestly did not try very hard to get over him. Luka gave her his whole heart, including the most adorable confession of love I have ever heard. But he always came second to Marinette whenever she had a choice of anything else over him. There was also the episode with Desperada when Jagged Stone came to the houseboat for a new guitarist. Marinette didn't even give Luka a glance before taking his guitar, one of his most prized possessions, and handed it to Adrien to audition for Jagged despite knowing full well that Adrien played piano and not guitar.

Chloe/Prince Ali- Very similar to the issues with Adrien/Chloe. Chloe would only treat Ali as arm candy and a walking bank. Plus, Chloe would definitely abuse the power she would get from being a "future princess." She's bad enough as the mayor's daughter, so she would only be even worse as a princess.

Chloe/Kagami- Every time the two have interacted, it has not gone well. The biggest example being when Chloe teamed up with Marinette to try and sabotage Kagami at the movie premiere of the Ladybug and Cat Noir movie simply because Kagami was there at the invitation of Adrien. There has never been a single good interaction between the two of them.

Chloe/Nathaniel- The argument against these two begins and ends with one word. Evillustrator. That entire episode basically summed up why the two would never work. One, Nathaniel is way too shy and soft-spoken to be with someone as loud and proud as Chloe. Two, she would want him to quit doing his hero art and only make drawings of her. And three, she humiliated him on his birthday and defaced one of his drawings that she stole.

Ladybug/Cat Noir- Cat Noir's crush on her did get in the way of him being a good hero multiple times. I do think he was a better hero than Ladybug, but that doesn't mean I don't see his flaws. Especially with the way he acted during Frozer and Glaciator. But, at the same time, Ladybug could have treated him so much better. She treated him like a sidekick and not a partner. She constantly left him in the dark and used him as basically a human shield. She gambled with his life multiple times and never once saw anything wrong with it.

This is sequel to you know what...

Jaune: No Ruby... *mumbling in his sleep* No Ruby, don't marry him. I know Oscar is a great guy and all, but please don't go through with it.

Ruby: Oh did you have a bad dream. *playfully ruffle Jaune's hair* There, there.

Jaune then snatches Ruby's hand while he still in his sleep.

Ruby: Jaune?!

Jaune: No! Please don't go. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for never noticing your feeling. I'm sorry for being such a dumb dense doo doo head for all those years.

Ruby: Well, at least you finally realized it. I can't believe it took you this long.

Jaune: No please, Ruby please no....

Ruby: Oh Jaune. Here let me help you. *grabs blanket*

Jaune: *mumble* Ruby please don't leave me...

Ruby: Oh Jaune... I promise I will never leave you.

Jaune: *wakes up* Huh. Ruby did I say something in my sleep?

Ruby: No you slept like a log.

Jaune: Oh, okay then. I could have sworn that I just confessed to you.

Ruby: W-what makes you think that?

Jaune: I guess it's just a dream... But anyway. Ruby do you want to go out with me?

Ruby: *gasp* Really!? *cough* I mean, if I may ask. What brought this on?

Jaune: I guess... I just don't want to wait around anymore. And Ruby I love you...

Ruby: (Screaming internally) Yes Jaune! Yes.... Wait, wait, wait. When you said you love me do you love me as a friend or do you love me, love me?

Jaune: I guess it's my fault for being so indecisive for so long. Ruby, I want to apologize first before hand for what i'm about to do.

Ruby: Apologize for what?

She is then surprised by what happened. Jaune quickly grabs both of her wrist and push her down so he is now on top of her.

Jaune: Does this answer your questions?

Ruby: Jaune what's gotten into you?!

Jaune: I had a dream. Where I saw you in the arm of another man. I said to myself that as long as you're happy, I can be happy with it too. But it's a lie. When I see you smiling happily with someone other than me. I felt something died inside of me. Ruby. I don't like it... I don't like it when I see you with being in love with someone else. And I don't like it that deep down I have this feeling. If you aren't all mine, I can't stand it.

Ruby can't believe what she's hearing. Jaune finally letting out what's bottling inside of him. Looking up she can see him trembling and while it faint she can sees him starts crying on top of her.

Ruby: Jaune. It's okay. What you're feeling is normal. It just means you Love me so much that you want me to only be with you.

Jaune: But it's wrong thing to do, it's selfish and kinda sexist to say that I want you for myself... Anyway, I shouldn't have said that.

Ruby: Oh Jaune. I wish you stop with that misguided moral of yours. What if tell you that I like it when you think of me like that?

Jaune: Ruby are you sure?

Ruby: Yes Jaune. Contrary to what you might think there are woman that like being wanted like that. It made us felt cherished and valued. So don't fret with what society might think and just follow your heart... And I should do too. Jaune I love you too.

Jaune: Ruby I...

Ruby: Now kiss me lover boy.

The two finally kisses each other for the first time. Their lips stuck to each others that it felt like an eternity. At last the two finally joined to one another.

Ruby's Version:

Ruby: No Jaune, no don't...

Jaune: Aww... Ruby is having a nightmare. Here let me rub your head. I hope it help you out a bit.

Ruby: Jaune how could you... With my own sister.

Jaune: Oh Yang seems to be there with me as well. I wonder what we're doing that caused Ruby to react like this?

Ruby: And my own mother too... Am I not enough for you?

Jaune: With Summer too. And what do you mean by enough, Ruby?

Ruby: No. How could you say such a thing to me Jaune... How could you hurt me like this...

Jaune: Wait-what did I say to Ruby in her dream?

Ruby: Blake, Weiss. What are you doing here?.. Why are you joining my sis and my mom in his bed?

Jaune: They're doing what in my bed???

Ruby: J-Jessica what are you doing here? You're not even part of our franchise... You're just a one-off crossover character. Go back to DC.

Jaune: Who's Jessica?

Ruby: No... H-how could you do all of them in front of me... Stop making that face mom... Yang get off from on top of him... Weiss don't put Jaune's thing in your mouth... Blake stop purring when he is doing you... And Jaune please don't say you think Jessica is better than me...

Jaune: What on Remnant is going on inside Ruby's dream. What am I doing with all of them in my bed?

My own Lumini AU headcanons (or would it be facts since I made the AU 🤨) that have plagued my mind since I've made this AU eons ago 😄👍

Lunar and Gemini are married (woooo) and still act like as if they're in their honeymoon phase :p

They have a house in a rural area that was built with the help of the celestial family (Monty included tf 😤 yes him and Earth are happily married with a kid 🤬)

I have this little fun fact that Geminis reflection is just light (flash bang!), and Lunar realizes this, so he puts all of his artistic skills to drawing and painting Gemini in family photos or photos in general (also is just an excuse to draw his beautiful partner 🥲🫶)

Lunar is an astral body in this au btw

They do not have a kid, but the closest thing to it is a black cat named Clementine! They have big ol eyes >:]

Gemini absolutely loves Clementine and spends most of their time around him and carrying them around (Lunar draws them a lot, what? He loves his babies 🤬💗)

Gemini has a garden the variety extending to flowers to fruits (Lunar helps at times but doesn't in fear his powers would mess with the garden Gemini put time in making)

Lunar also animates but he's not so good at it but ay it's decent (it's mostly videos of Gemini and Clementine he makes)

Lunar has so many sketch books filled with almost everything in the damn world

Gemini and Lunar travel around the world together as well as the galaxy whenever they can (space work is still a thing!)

They both think that the other is way too far out of their league

Lunar has a whole book dedicated to their memories with Gemini and Clementine as well as his family with writing along each picture in the book (most are drawings when it comes to Gemini)

Gemini gives Lunar random jewelry and items they find when looking at other planets (stones, plants, flowers, gems, etc)

Gemini let's Lunar play with their hair

They are extremely lovey dovey with each other (ESPECIALLY LUNAR 😭)

Lunar in this AU sadly does die in the most brutal way possible, leaving Gemini in a crisis and wonder is he's ever coming back (I mean he's an astral, one of them, he'll be back...right?)

It's been a week since Y/N told me about what happened. I mean, I wasn't surprised, I had a suspicion about them liking IcyHot, but hearing it directly, hurt.

Ever since, I've stuck by Y/N's side, spending more time with 'em. I'm trying my best to impress Y/N, maybe then, they'll notice me.

(Y/N's POV)

Something weird is going on... Bakugou has been acting differently around me lately. He's been spending more time with me, and, I noticed, that he always leaves and enters class the same time I do. He walks me to school in the morning, and then back to the dorms in the afternoon.

I've never seen him like this before, he's never shown any interest in befriending me, so why now? Was he feeling bad because of what happened with Todoroki? I really don't know. Anyways, what happened today though, was much different. Instead of just hanging around near me, he plopped down on the couch. Directly beside me, thighs touching.

In the background, I hear fangirling squeals coming from Mina, Hagakure, and Denki. Whatever's up with them....(little does Y/N know, they're happy Bakugou actually agreed to sit that close to you [courtesy to Mina who convinced him])

We sat there for a long while, just me and him, as the common room slowly started to empty, everybody going to sleep. Everything was silent, each of us scrolling through our own phone, enjoying each other's presence.

Bakugou breaks the silence (brave move my man, I could never, breaking a silence scares me unless I'm with friends).

"Are you still thinking about that damn IcyHot?"

Short question, aggressive tone, but I could feel the caring tone hidden in his words.

"Hm?....Not really..."

"That ain't an answer." He replies.

I sigh, "Yes, sometimes...But I'm fine!"

"No, you're not." His voice is stern.

"Hm?" I turn my head to look at him. His red eyes staring into my [E/C] ones.

"Your eyebags are worse lately. You're not sleeping enough? If you're thinking about him, then stop, there's no point in thinking about a taken man." I understand he meant to make me feel better (let's be honest, Bakugou isn't the best in comforting people) but that did sting a little.

"Why do you care?" I ask, pouting a little, "I thought you don't care about anyone?"

He turns away, back to scrolling on his phone, a small scowl on his (rather beautiful) features. I thought I had beat him, so I got ready to go to my room and get some sleep (actually, stay awake, overthinking my whole entire life) when he suddenly whispers something that makes me freeze in shock.

"Because I love you, dumbass."

I stand there in shock for a second, eyes wide, the heat creeping up to my cheeks. "W-what..?"

"I ain't repeating," he stands up and heads to the elevator.

"W-wait!" I call after him, running to catch up with his pace. Now we were both standing in front of the elevator door, having some sort of flustered staring contest.

Honestly, it felt as if something took over my body. I took a few steps forward and then, right in front of Bakugou, I stood on the tips of my toes, and gave him a peck. On. The. Lips.

I don't know why I did that, but now, as an adult, that was maybe the thing I've done my entire life.

Katsuki and I are now happily married of five years, he's the #2 Pro Hero Dynamite, and I'm the #8 Pro Hero [Hero Name].

Although, at the moment, I'm on a break, since Katsuki and I are expecting a little boy.

I see so much discourse on X about Celeborn and as a multi shipper it's quite annoying. I don't think people realize that Haladriel isn't going anywhere. In fact, when you compare all the established canon couple fanworks against all the protagonist/antagonist (even anti-heros) fanworks in ALL SERIES/BOOKS/SHOWS/ETC TO EVER EXIST, there will always be more of the latter simply because of 2 reasons: the what if's to be explored and the forbidden aspect of it. I wish ppl would calm down. I also find it silly when I see my own mutuals dunk on Haladriel over the 'toxic' aspects and it bothers me too since I like both ships. Unlike Celedriel, you guys can take a Sauron & Galadriel relationship (in all sense of the word, not just in a pairing context) and take it in ANY direction you want, with enough creativity. You can write them as friends in an AU, or even before they became known by their names (like her meeting Mairon before he became Sauron). You can write S1 and S2 (even 3-5) divergence fics, redemption arcs, dystopia fics, crack fics, dead doves, or even fluff (like off-stage AU where they're not enemies off screen). Heck, since you guys got the mind palace thing, and with her growth over the ages, you can even find ways to make non-AU fluff/hurt&comfort (maybe when they're both tired of this endless fight of the ages because it's a stalemate and he wants to repent but he can't due to Morgoth's corruption and he knows it?). Haladriel has a cosmic connection, and I think this implies that even if one of them dies, it will still exist somehow even when they pass into the Undying lands. Haladriels don't understand how much advantage they have with being portrayed by actors with amazing chemistry, an established and growing fanbase, an entire season without any kind of background conflict that takes the focus away from them as their relationship was explored and developed, having it all: UST, 'acquaintances fighting alongside each other to become friends' and the 'friends-to almost?-to enemies' aspect, and there are even Tolkien's writings that confirm he is capable of redemption. I've even seen well-written fan theories on ways that he can redeem himself too. It's like star-crossed lovers baked into every kind of trope that ppl like to explore. Really, I don't understand how it's not obvious enough. Yes, she ends up with Celeborn, and they are happily married and their relationship is secure and comfy. I know that may sound boring to some, but that's why I like Haladriel too, because their relationship isn't confined to only one narrative, unlike Tolkien's works. Yes, you can argue that Haladriel has a doomship narrative because they don't end up together, but the appeal of doomships is that you can DO so much with it in fanon, even completely reverse it (as I've seen in fanfics already). If you tried to do something similar with an established canon ship where they are supposed to be happily married, it doesn't make much sense, unless it's for angst. Celeborn is just a humble normal elf and he doesn't have any that. He just trying to vibe, support Galadriel, and not piss anyone off lol. And I say all of that as a pro-Celeborn fan lol. Sorry for this long rant, I just wish they would leave my poor silver clam alone ;_; and for fans to stop fighting.

I agree 💯 with all of this. That’s why I can happily digest all forms of haladriel. Modern AU, canon divergence, coffee shop fluff, Sauron redemption arc, socially awkward Mairon. All of it. And thank peanut butter and bagels the fanfic writers in this fandom are bar none some of the best fucking writers I have ever read. We are so lucky.

"It doesn't make any sense. How are the Good Three supposed to help you cleanse the Heart and make Voryn sane again? Couldn't they do it before now if they wanted to?"

"Yes and no," Nerevar said, "For one, he's linked to the Heart and he's been on the watch for this sort of thing. That's...one thing I'm going to need you for. I'm sorry to ask it, but..."

"But what?" That feeling of suspicion came back, that familiar thing she'd gotten used to feeling in the old days. That feeling that had served her well in avoiding...certain kinds of problems, problems young women in shit neighborhoods tended to have.

"I just need you to distract him for a bit. You don't need to do anything racy, just keep Voryn's attention once we're back." Nerevar took a deep breath. "Ten minutes, maybe a bit more, and we can...figure out what this is going to be."

"But what about Boethiah and the rest? Azura hates what's going on, she wanted you to destroy the Tribunal. Surely they're going to ask for something in return?"

"They want Lorkhan back, and said it would be through me that he'd return."

"That...that sounds ominous..." Sadara went quiet and thought. Through him, Lorkhan would come back...that could have any number of meanings. Most of them fatal. But if he could get brought back from being only BONES, then he could be brought back if this plan killed him. But then he wouldn't accept it so easily if he thought he COULD die...would he? No. No, he wouldn't, she was sure of it.

She changed the subject.

"Voryn seemed to want both of us, but I didn't...I don't...I mean I've never..."

"You don't like the idea?"

"Yes? And no? I don't know." Sadara rubbed her head. "The only time I've ever seen people 'sharing' each other is with swinging, and that's definitely not something I like. As a couple, but three of us...I mean, I'm not completely AGAINST the idea, but...I don't want to end up the third wheel. I know you've got history with him, it's why you were late in checking on me..."

"Something we'll have to talk about with Voryn." Nerevar gave a slight smile. "In the First Era, when Almalexia and I were still happily married, we made certain agreements to let us look outside the marriage for...certain kinds of pleasure. I agreed to her dalliance with Vivec and she agreed to my own with Voryn. It should be the same here - we'll just have to talk and see what we're comfortable with...so no one feels neglected."

"I've never been well off enough for standards. And then when I was I didn't want to date at all." Sadara sighed. "After...the first wedding. It's...it's weird, okay. That I could go from having nobody to having two of you. And 'the two of you' being a saint and a devil. According to other Dunmer anyway."

"I'm no saint, that's just something Vehk and Ayem say to make themselves feel better." Then a wicked grin crossed Nerevar's face. "They're going to regret ever making me a cornerstone of their Temple."

"Are you--are you going to kill them?"

"Oh no, no. I'm not even going to raise a blade." There was a pause, and an absolutely diabolical grin. "But that's for later. Right now - how do you feel about this idea of the three of us?"

"If you can make Voryn sane, sure. Why not. I just...don't know you very well. Why would YOU want me?"

Nerevar paused. "There's no way I can put it without sounding creepy, but uh...I was inside your head. And I saw a lot of things I liked. The way you keep going despite every attempt to throw you back. The resolve every time you saw an obstacle to get over. I know what you'd say - it was that or give up, but...I liked that strength. Maybe it was simply that I was inside your head, but it felt like home."

He paused.

"I told you there wasn't a way to say it without sounding creepy."

"You and Voryn have to be the only men interested in me that haven't said they like my boobs the most of all my features. And he said the same thing you just did; he liked my strength. But given the fact you had to rescue me like some damsel, that doesn't damage it at all?"

"Voryn had to rescue me from death," Nerevar said, "And as you can tell, I'm no damsel."

"That's different." Sadara laughed a moment later, realizing she was wrong. She laughed louder when Nerevar replied again.

"Unless Voryn wants me to be, of course."

"Are you a damsel for him very often?" she asked. "Is that what he likes?"

"He likes a lot of things, he just hasn't had them in a long time. Most often with me is...is, well..."

"He wants you to be his faithful dog. I guessed that from the collar and the way you reacted to..." Sadara shifted slightly. "The words. But why do you like it?"

"It started when I was a canvasari, a caravan guard. A nobody. I liked the idea of being taken care of, and he liked having someone who would obey without question. Then when I was King of Resdayn...it was because I didn't want to think of all I had to take care of. I wanted to stop thinking, stop stressing, and just be...his. I had two hundred good years of that...so you could say it's become a habit."

"So if I ever want to shut you up..." She reached up, stroked at his hair, "...all I've got to do is this and ask if you're going to be a good boy for me?"

"Sadara." Nerevar's voice hitched. "We're attempting a serious conversation here, this isn't constructive."

It was funny, almost, to see the slight squirming, the restrained eagerness. She had had part of this conversation with Voryn, who had advised using this particular technique on Nerevar if he looked to be giving trouble. But gently, of course; she was new to him, it might not work the same way.

It looked to her like it was working just fine.

"Maybe you'd prefer it if he was the only one doing it. It is a little...different." But it wasn't that bad, and after the powerlessness of the last few months it felt GREAT to see someone writhing even slightly under her touch, entirely at her mercy, under her control. Especially someone big like Nerevar. Sure, it was weird that he responded doggishly to words like that, but - she liked the feeling this gave her.

"Are you a good boy?"

"Sadara--" More fidgeting. A strange desperation in Nerevar's eyes.

"Nerevar, answer me. Are you a good boy?"

"Ye-es..." And this time when she stroked at his hair he leaned into the touch.

And as she gave a few other commands Voryn had mentioned using, Sadara was amazed at the way the stress just seemed to melt off Nerevar. She didn't touch his cock once but somehow he seemed entirely satisfied with the endeavor once it was all over.

Sadara woke feeling groggy, but comfortable. The bed was warm, and most importantly when she looked up she didn't see the same stupidly expensive ceiling tile that there had been so many times in the past weeks. She grew to really hate those tiles, especially once...Voryn...had started making a nightly visit.

He'd kept assuring her Nerevar was on his way, that all would be well.

She turned over and curled up again. There was rain beating on the roof overhead, and it was relaxing in all the best ways...she could go right back to sleep, and all would be well.

Even if Helseth's dogs DID follow them here, she had not only her own self, but Nerevar too. As he'd said - there was no need to do this alone anymore.

She'd had Jiub, but not always, so she'd operated for ages on the assumption that there would be no help. Even if they lived together, as they'd been doing before, she'd assumed constantly that the worst would happen and she'd be on her own.

Sadara sighed happily.

Gods it was nice, not to have to think like that. In the back of her mind she thought - she'd have to figure out some way to help Jiub out, now that she'd be doing better. The number of times he'd helped her--

Just as she was drifting off again there was a knocking sound. Probably someone next door ordering pizza or something.

Then it repeated, only a bit harder - and now she was certain it was at their door.

That woke Nerevar up. He started to bolt off his bed and there was a sudden, "Urk!"

She stifled a laugh as the makeshift bedsheet leash tying his collar to the headboard pulled him back once he'd reached the end. She rushed over (still cursing the dress), and untied it, attempting not to study his chest, and cursing the fact that he had to sleep in nothing but his boxers. He groped under the bed for the sheath with Trueflame in it, and Sadara went for the dagger she'd brought.

Nerevar (bedsheet leash-cape hanging behind him) opened the door, sword up and ready--and then lowered it. "Voryn!"

Sadara tensed slightly, and couldn't explain why. She stayed back, and let Nerevar do the talking.

"I told you we were on our way, you didn't need to come and get us. How can you just walk around like this?"

"I have my ways. And of course I had to do it! Have you not seen the morning's headlines?--now let me in, the robes are going to get soaked."

Nerevar stepped back and (Voryn, Sadara's mind corrected instantly, she supposed the Nerevar in her was quicker than her anxiety) Voryn stepped in. He was maskless, and the third eye was prominent on his forehead.

At least he was wearing actual clothes. A robe that covered everything.

And after teasing Nerevar for a moment about going off his leash, Voryn looked past him, to Sadara.

"I'm sorry," were the first words out of his mouth as he walked forward. And before she could say what she'd already said a hundred times already, that he didn't have to say it - he'd dropped the robes in his hand and pulled her into a hug.

It was strange, but he'd done it a few times in her dreams, but this was - more.

Sadara returned the hug, and felt Voryn's grip tighten as a result. He let go after a minute or so and then seemed to snap back into whatever plan he'd made. "Nerevar said the spy we sent to collect your things didn't have the chance to get your clothes so I brought something."

He held up the red robe, and she noted right away the House Dagoth sigil on the chest in purple thread.

Of course.

She took the robe, thanked him, and headed into the bathroom to get a quick shower and change. She was too glad to be out of the stupid dress she'd worn for two days now to quibble much about the sigil. Obviously the only clothes he'd have ready would have the mark.

When she emerged from the bathroom (the robe was silk, and felt heavenly) she saw Nerevar, now fully dressed himself, in an identical robe whose only difference was the bigger size. He was giving voice to the thing she'd been thinking on looking at the purple sigil in the bathroom mirror.

"Of course you had to mark us both! What, do you have underclothes with the mark too?"

"I could have some made," Voryn laughed - a grand sound that prompted her to laugh in return. Both he and Nerevar turned to look at her then.

"We all very much need to talk," she said.

"Yes, we do," Voryn agreed. "But not here. I cut a deal with a couple reporters to get them pictures of my walk here and we've got about an hour before they put up the pictures they got and this place is swarming with more of them. Everyone wants pictures of Saint Nerevar and the bride he stole."

"We haven't been looking at the news. Or at least, I haven't." Sadara said, "What've they been saying?"

"That if Helseth was alive, he--"

"Helseth's DEAD?" she burst out.

"Of course, my backup plans have backup plans," Nerevar said, "I hired the Morag Tong to do it. They succeeded?"

"Very quickly. He was dead before the day was up," Voryn replied, "That should keep them busy, long enough for us to..."

"For us to figure out what us is?" Nerevar suggested.

"That, yes."

The look Voryn shot her then was - well, it reminded her of those puppy eyes he'd given her that first night he'd visited her dreams directly.

"How are we getting back?" she asked on walking across the room towards them. "Did you bring your own silt strider?"

"Naturally." And after an uncertain pause that made her wonder once again if this was really the man all Morrowind was frightened of, he added, "Come home with us?"

"As long as I don't have to see Gilvoth's face - yes."

"He won't be a problem," Nerevar said.

"For quite some time," Voryn added.

And then they all laughed.

(understand that these are just headcanons/my ideas and I'm very silly)

Go through the tag of #my headcanons if you want more stuff though honestly, as...I write a LOT about her.

Not gonna lie, this is a LOT of rambling. Also certain things I won't say as I DO plan to someday write Odypen's courting and I want the readers to "fall in love" with her ALONGSIDE Odysseus. We already know him. But the Odyssey kind of keeps a lot of her intentions/sneakiness hidden on purpose because she's just as much of an enigma to Odysseus as the Narrator in a way. (it's one of the things I love so much about her). I hope to write her in a way that "reveals" HER as well.

Honestly I'll try and tag all my stuff with her with Water Wife (maybe without tm because...that was just for the silly and it's sometimes annoying to dig up the emoji thing on computer)

I take a lot of liberties with everything "nonmortal" (demigods, nymphs, etc.) because honestly it's just genuinely fun to write about plus I'm neurodivergent :P also have chronic pain, so I like writing SOME of my gals doing athletics. Mostly just Penelope and Helen being SUPER into it while other women have some activities they like. Ctimene for example, likes running and Anticlea woodcarving (who Odysseus learned it from)

Also silly thing, but one thing I always try to keep in mind is the idea of "A lot of people write women just reacting and not affecting" and I feel like people think Homer and other Ancient Greek Authors do that when...No. They write very dynamic and complex women. Penelope isn't JUST "sobbing" when the suitors are there. If it weren't for her schemes, she'd be married already. BUT NO!!! She's so cunning and held them off WITHOUT physical force!!!

"She should've killed them-" YEs! BUT there are also the political implications of that and xenia to consider!!! Literally at the end of the Odyssey, Athena has to calm everybody down!!! She couldn't do that without even more angry people coming at her!!! rtdyfugh ANYWAYS

I also take "likeminded" and sprint with it. For every shitty/wonderful thing Odysseus has done, she's rooting for it or would do something similar. They're as full of love as they are full of hate.

These two are that "evil couple" sometimes. She's sitting in his lap and they just humiliated someone publically and laugh at them and then they start nuzzling noses, giggling.

She's prideful in many ways as well and she's not against throwing someone under the bus if she needs to and WILL blackmail. You're afraid of snakes and she doesn't like you? "Oh my gosh! What do you think of my new snake necklace?"

She's pretty reckless often in her youth (Her and Odysseus both got that Adhd swag). For example, in my one fic's first chapter, it mentions how she ate a catfish that is making her sick. She rushed in and wasn't even thinking about "...Hey, isn't this one kind of weird?" She was pretending she was fine at first when she clearly wasn't as she doesn't like showing "weakness" (plus adrenaline). Also as she just gave birth like, 8-9 months before, she's in a weird funk of feeling strange about how her body has changed a bit despite recovering very well (water helps!). She's soooo happy she took the "beast" down. While sick, she knew she was reckless and mad at herself.

She's actually closest with Helen probably. Her siblings are a bit older than her and as she was born in a creek and quite smaller because of it (Naiads being affected by the waters they were born in) she got teased by some other naiads for quite a while. Helen is also, a little shit, in her own way so these two loved doing silly shit often. (Penelope, Helen, Menelaus, Castor, and Pollux, were this very strange little squad of kiddos who just...did random shit. They each have scars and knicks from their silliness (except Helen and Pollux))

Some of the scales she has on her arms and one shoulder, dry out quicker, from one of the times older naiads got a hold of her and kind of ripped at them :'D "Puddle girl"

It's something she carries with her in a way and when her water breaks with Telemachus, she hides it at first being like "Hey, let's head towards the caves!!!" until Odysseus realizes and he's so frustrated and upset with her has to scoop her up. (her stubbornness and recklessness) He scolds her after everything calms down like two weeks later.

Funny enough, I've had this idea for a LONG time even before I watched the 90's Odyssey. Odysseus just gives that vibe of "I'm not fucking leaving." don't he?

Odysseus: I can't believe you did that. The Canals were closer, Penelope- Penelope: I know but he'd be so much stronger if he were born in the caves and he is. AND I'm fine!!! I'm actually doing very well.

She hates bracelets. She usually ends up breaking them from messing with them too much.

Athena technically spoke with her first before Odysseus but Athena was WATCHING Odysseus for a longer time.

She's really close with her parents because her eldest sister got married quite young and her brothers are in the military. She goes running with dad often (let me have this) and she enjoys swimming (ofc), running, and pankration (Idk why I think it's really neat but I do)

She's got a scar on her temple that is kind of hidden by her hair from when she got washed away once when she was little (the scars she DOES have are because of her own novice attempts at healing, otherwise she doesn't have really any) and she's got a little crook in her nose, something she's self-conscious about as it was one of her first times "setting bone" with water and so it didn't end up perfect. It's not too noticeable but of course, you notice your own flaws more than others. (When she finally allows Odysseus to kiss her face, he immediately places a little kiss on her nose.)

There's...SO many more but yeah. a lot of basics.

So having never read the Twilight books, but being a big fan of the Twilight fics by yourself and Vinelle, I get the impression that there may be a certain degree of gaslighting and/or misunderstanding going on around Bella and Edward's wedding, their "wedding night" (Edward sleeping with Bella while she's human), and Bella being turned.

I think my understanding is that Bella wants to be turned (preferably by Edward), would like to sleep with Edward (although I'm not sure the degree to which she's set on this being before she's turned), and is very ambivalent to if not against the idea of being married. Edward absolutely does not want Bella turned by anyone, doesn't want to risk sleeping with her while she's human (and therefore is really against ever sleeping with her at all), but does want to marry her if they're going to be together at all (although he'd rather she run off with Jacob to live her "human future"). I'm unclear what exactly the rest of the Cullens understand about all this.

If it's not too much to ask, could you explain your heretical take on what's happening here?

What Happened in Canon

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head in regards to Bella and Edward but I should sum it up/make it explicit.

At the end of New Moon, after having vanished for six months, Edward begs Bella to date him again and she agrees. However, Bella wants to be turned into a vampire and immediately has his family vote on the issue. The vote is mostly in her favor, though mixed (with both Edward and Rosalie voting against it), but ultimately Carlisle says he will turn her regardless of Edward or Rosalie's opinion.

Bella, is disappointed as she has always wanted Edward specifically to be the one to turn her. Edward, knowing this, promises to turn Bella himself but only if she agrees to marry him first.

Bella does not immediately say yes, not because she doesn't have feelings for Edward/wish to be with him for eternity, but because she hates the very idea of marriage (she never delves too deep into this but it's highly likely this is due to her being a product of a disastrously young marriage/messy divorce).

The pair spend a few weeks bargaining with each other. Edward asks Bella to consider all the opportunities she'll miss by being a vampire and what she wants to experience while human. Bella considers this, but is unpersuaded by the idea of attending university as a human and doesn't want children (something Edward explicitly brings up as her not being able to do if she's a vampire/living with vampires). However, she decides that she would like to experience making love as a human with Edward. That's it. That's the only thing Bella wants to do as a human and then she can happily turn. This is bad as Edward is highly likely to accidentally kill her in bed. There's then a lot of negotiating about how far the pair can go physically, the marriage, and turning Bella.

On top of this the Jacob love triangle subplot is going on where Jacob's trying to a) convince Bella to stay human and not become a man-eating demon b) tell Bella that she actually loves him and not Edward. This doesn't go anywhere for Jacob save that Edward speaks with him about how, actually, he'd be sad but quite happy if Bella ran off with Jacob to live a human life.

Ultimately though, it all settles with Bella agreeing to marry Edward after all (and have sex with him while human) and Edward then agreeing to turn her but planning to postpone it as long as possible (which doesn't go well as he accidentally gets Bella pregnant with a demon).

So that's our main couple right there, but as you ask, what about the rest of the Cullens.

What Do We Know About the Cullens

Sadly (and this truly is sad, as goddammit I want this so badly) there is only Midnight Sun from Edward's perspective and not the entire series. What I would give to know what terrible shenanigans Edward got up to in Rio or exactly how "talking to his family about how to make love to a woman" went.

So, we only know what Bella knows and what Bella knows is never much as, per Midnight Sun, Edward will not only skew information, leave information out, but will intentionally mislead if not outright lie about what goes on behind the scenes for his own purposes.

(He glossed over a lot of what went on in the Twilight period, a lot.)

Bella doesn't think much about what the Cullens do or don't know or even their opinions. She knows generally that Rosalie dislikes her, she thinks Jasper dislikes her, and she thinks the rest like her or at least like Edward. Bella... doesn't think too much past that.

Which means what I can point to are various things that happen:

Alice plans the wedding (a thoroughly ridiculous and hilarious occasion that sounds like a horrible time for all)

Alice also sends the Volturi a wedding invitation because she saw that they had to be waylaid or else they'd come crash the wedding and say "So, is Bella actually turned yet" and a terrible time would be had by all

Rosalie has spoken to Bella about not turning into a vampire and Bella kind of blew her off

Edward reported that he went to each of his brothers and his father to ask them about sex.

At the wedding, Bella tells Jacob she plans to make love to Edward while human, and Jacob publicly blows his lid and has to be carted out of the wedding with everyone watching (including the Cullens)

Also at the wedding, Bella gets really weird about Jacob and spends about ten minutes slow dancing with him while Edward slow dances with his mother. Everyone was watching, including the Cullens.

Two weeks into the honeymoon, Alice calls Bella because she's disappeared at which point Bella drops "I think I'm pregannanant" (but the way she says it... they may or may not think it's Jacob's...)

To be a completionist, here's what Edward mentions of the behind the scenes with his family on the topic of "making love to a human woman":

He took my face between his hands, still introspective, "I spoke to Carlisle after you and I made our bargain, hoping he could help me. Of course he warned me that this would be very dangerous for you." A shadow crossed his expression. "He had faith in me, though--faith I didn't deserve." I started to protest, and he put two fingers over my lips before I could comment. "I also asked him what I should expect. I didn't know what it would be for me… what with my being a vampire." He smiled halfheartedly. "Carlisle told me it was a very powerful thing, like nothing else. He told me physical love was something I should not treat lightly. With our rarely changing temperaments, strong emotions can alter us in permanent ways. But he said I did not need to worry about that part--you had altered me so completely." This time his smile was more genuine. "I spoke to my brothers, too. They told me it was a very great pleasure. Second only to drinking human blood." A line creased his brow. "But I've tasted your blood, and there could be no blood mroe potent than that… I don't think they were wrong, really. Just that it was different for us. Something more."

Which... there's a lot Edward's not relaying to us. That conversation with Carlisle sounds extremely paraphrased and to me like a very reluctant "well, you have very good control, Edward" and "you should think very very very carefully before having sex. Please."

I think the Cullens have been experiencing emotional whiplash since the start of the saga. The entire series takes place within the course of two years and they barely ever have any idea what's going on.

Edward's suddenly in love, Edward has human girlfriend?!, Edward doesn't have human girlfriend, Edward attempts suicide, Edward is back with human girlfriend who isn't dead?!, We're turning human girlfriend?, they're getting married but Edward doesn't want to turn her...

Midnight Sun they spend the entire novel having no idea what the fuck's happening and constantly trying to get Edward to tell them anything. Edward refuses.

But what they do know at this point is that ultimately, even if Edward doesn't follow through, Carlisle will turn Bella. Some (Alice, Jasper, Carlisle) are probably thinking a much shorter timeframe (lest the Volturi murder them all), Rosalie still wishes for Bella to remain human, and Edward is uh... thinking several decades if at all.

The Heresy

I imagine they're a little confused on why Edward and Bella are publicly marrying if Bella's going to have to disappear and fake her death soon. That will just make Edward the prime suspect, as it's always, always, the husband and Edward doesn't look good on paper (erratic behavior, isolated house where Bella could disappear, quickly marries her after a large absence right out of high school).

(They don't yet realize, mostly because Edward's the bridge between the Cullens and Bella, that Bella doesn't realize what disappearing entails. She truly thinks she can pretend to go to college and then never speak to anyone in person again and that nobody will question why they only hear her through email.)

I imagine they're also confused about the Jacob thing but don't want to go digging into it too much as that's for Edward to handle. And... he seems to be alright?

As for sleeping with Bella while human, I imagine all think it's a bad idea, but Edward has framed it in such a way that they blame Bella/don't want to say anything. Bella's insisting, it's the one thing she wants as a human, Edward has to do this for her...

So, I imagine they try to tell themselves Edward has good enough control and... try not to think about it (I imagine there's a lot of staring at Alice during that honeymoon period, waiting to see if Bella's been pulvarized or not yet).

Basically, the Cullens are that dog floating in space who has no idea what he's doing. EDIT
