Yes yes yes! Mumtho vibes are so good and so so awkward!

I was rotating them the other day and I think it would go exactly like that! Mumbo being unsure and flustered and rambling up a storm and overcorrecting himself while Etho just kinda nods and tries to get some distance because he’s a little overwhelmed, but also intrigued and is used to learning about people from a safer distance.

I think someone should give them a reason to do some redstone together. Let Mumbo be a flustered mess while Etho gets to admire him while he works and give him a small compliment that sends Mumbo spiraling, but in such a good way. I think they should brush hands one too many times and not really be sure enough to do anything else about it.

It takes them weeks, months, years even, to even accept that they are truly friends now and that there is maybe some admiration or a crush hiding under the surface of emotions that neither of them even want to acknowledge. Neither of them are going to be the one to make the first move (unless it is Mumbo accidentally spilling his secrets during a ramble or Etho saying something an edge too fond to be considered platonic, it’s fine they are so good at communicating)

Bonus points for an exasperated Bdubs in the background yelling at them to just hold hands already.

I think a very important thing about Etho and Mumbo's dynamics, especially in shipping, is just how much Mumbo idolizes Etho. Like- he still gets flustered about him. they have been on the same server for seven years, and he still gets very awkward around him, and bashful almost? Like, in Secret Life, I haven't seen the episode since it came out but when he got the task to be Etho's maid, he was like- apprehensive. Don't quote me on this but I even think he says like, "Oh no", and seems to act even more anxious than usual.

(My best guess for this is because like, Etho is- A, an og minecrafter, he's Etho, but also because of the things he's done for redstone - especially early on?)

Meanwhile, Etho is- well, Etho. A little cagey? Again, going off of my memory in Secret life, he almost has the vibe of like- treating Mumbo like a bug. Not in a derogatory way, but in a fascinating if not "why are you here" way

i think the secret to a good ship dynamic of them is just like. the most painful awkwardness ever. followed by etho slowly warming up to Mumbo's presence like a stray cat, while Mumbo becomes more comfortable with him.

I inherited my friend’s old Wii and found the HTTYD2 game at a discount store so I’ve been having some fun with that

The best part is obviously when the riders go flying off their dragons if you hit a wall. But my second favorite thing is if you play as Stormfly/Astrid and do a bunch of epic flying maneuvers, Astrid’s like having the time of her life and cheering. Whereas if you do the same stuff as Toothless/Hiccup, Hiccup is like TOOTHLESS STOP TOOTHLESS STOP TOOTHLESS STOP
