something positive about the witcher 4 trailer that i’ve not seen anyone mention, maybe because it’s cdpr so it’s already to be expected that the visual design will be peak…

and maybe because i need an eyewash station after all that netflix has thrown at us…

but it felt great to see new witcher visuals with very present slavic design and motifs, the peasant girl’s dress and her crown, the atmosphere and setting.

again, maybe the bar is low because of netflix, this is just cdpr doing what they did great in witcher 3, but it’s satisfying to see the witcher retain a strong visual style and identity :p obviously they would be insane to change directions now, but it’s also not guaranteed (witcher 2 famously being more generic fantasy inspired, design-wise)

i’m just happy i finally got the “oooh, witcher” feeling when i saw it, which hasn’t happened in a while i guess

Heyyy I’ve been thinking about system vanessa again heres what vanny looks like in the headspace

Will looks like his funny glitchtrap suit when he’s projecting himself or in screens but he’s gooptrap in the brain. Also, nessa has a weird relationship to her physical appearance/her face specifically which is kinda why it looks so. *gestures* (heehee this plays into her appearance as the princess)

Anyway i kinda simplified my thoughts bc words are difficult for me mosta the time but theyre special 2 me ok.

NEW ART FINALLY YAYYY HERE’S A RANDOM SAYAKA CONCEPT I DID

to quickly explain my thought process behind this concept based off of the sayaka we see in the wnk trailers i was basically like “what if she was like an ice cream and her bandages are the cooler and when you take them off she starts melting” anddd boom!! (and also bc i wanted to make cheesy “i like my sayaka drippy” jokes)

PLEASE NOTE i did the drawing/lineart myself but my friend was the one who did the coloring + rendering so SHOUTOUT TO THEM!!! THEY DON’T HAVE TUMBLR BUT THEY MADE HER LOOK A LOT COOLER （≧∇≦）

Its not her fault that every new appearance of theirs ignites an urge to draw! How was she supposed to resist when they wander into the common area with such unique accessories and takes on their limbs! Ideas and variations that she could never have considered and worn with such a cool aura!

"Did you make these?" They hummed, a hand flipping through the layers of pinned sketches and studying each intently. Part of her screamed 'No duh!!!! Who's room are you in!!', but the other just rolled in panic. What if Zooble hated them? What if they wanted to mock her for it? What if they think she’s terrible no good awful and should be thrown in the cellar because of her comics? Did they see her art of her ocs kissing?!

Quick, make up a good lie.

"Yeah, I uh. I did." That was not a lie, Gangle!! That was very much the truth! Her nerves grew twisted as she began to ramble. "I think Caine's avatar creation is interesting and I like seeing all the new forms people come in as. Like - Like your’s, with all the variations you can change into! It’s so neat!" 

Zooble blinked at that, their antennae swaying slightly in what Gangle could only assume was pure hatred and wishing for her to explode and die. Their silence lingered, fraying her already rattled nerves further. She twirled her hands together, nearly knotting them up as she spoke, “I just. I think it’s cool. That you can get creative with it.”

Their gaze turned back to the cork board. Gangle wanted to abstract. “Would you draw something for me?” The question startled her, jerking back into reality with a soft ‘huh?’. When Gangle just stared, Zooble continued. “I like your art. I want some in my room.”
