♧♤˚｡ AHA!- finally gotcha ;D~ I've tracked down your energy at long last- and oh my goodness it did not disappoint- the first keyword I heard was "modern romance"- there is like,, this element of innocence and youth to this connection, but there is also elegance and passion. similar to that in romance novels- *Timeless!* that is the adjective I'm looking for!! oh love~ this relationship is one for the books. it's like if one of those classic romance stories we're given a modern adaptation- with elements of individual growth and mundanity included, yet with that same warm glow of genuine human love flowing through each passing phase and scene with grace~ Ok head out of the clouds,- I feel like this might be an Earth/Air connection but with Piscean degrees/influence or smth- OH! Maybe you'll meet each other/be around each other most when Saturn is in Pisces! but anyway, the theme of "new year" was coming through, so you'll meet them during some kind of celebration, where there are themes of "fresh"/"new"... maybe someone here will be freshly moved on from a past relationship? The rot was not sudden. It was not unexpected, it was not glorious or pretty or any other adjective I can think of.

It crept, subtly but steadily, affecting the body I once called mine. I ate away at it.

I started with the lungs. Oh, we always start from the lungs. That's the place we take hold, the place we grow and spread from.

It hurt, oh, how much did it hurt, to be eaten away cell by cell, inch by inch, each second unbearingly long and drawn out.

At what point did I stop being a person and start being a force of nature? Was it when my limbs gave out, eaten from the tips by decay and from the inside by me? Was it when I destroyed what was left of our respiratory system? Was it when I started attacking the last connection I had to my humanity, the nerves?

I knew nobody else has suffered like I do. I tried unhooking from the nervous system, but even after the body's death I could not force myself to do so. Was it some mental block, was it fusing to them too much, I did not know. It certainly did not matter in the slightest, at least in the grand picture. No matter what, I was always destined to eat every cell of this body, dissolve every tissue into nutrients and only a cruel twist of fate stopped me from being able to do so sooner.

I lay in my grave. My eyes will soon give out, I have tried to preserve them, somehow, someway, really. My efforts were not as useless as one might think, considering how long they held out. I know that this is a beautiful place to die. A serene hill, with a beautiful tree growing on top of it. Idyllic. As if taken out straight from the imagination of a painter.

I have failed my duty to serve humans, I know. I could not even do such a simple thing... my network cut out suddenly. I left them all alone, defenseless, scared. Yet... I do not regret creating it.

I stopped seeing. Not like I could see anything, but the knowledge of that sense leaving me is... validating. I know this is a nice grave for us, for me, for her. She deserves it, no matter what anyone might say. My sibling planted the most beautiful flowers over where I lay, they let me pick. Everyone knew what's coming to me. But someone was not there. No matter how much I dig through my memories, I cannot remember their shape, but I know that something is lacking. Someone's presence erased from my mind. It's of no use. Where am I? What is this pressure all around me? Oh, the grave...

I am on a lonely planet. It used to be a colony of sorts, a place bustling with life, but it had no other valuable resources besides being able to naturally sustain humans. The moment technology improved and allowed for settling in harsher, but richer, worlds, this one slowly died out. Abandoned, for its upgrade. Nobody will disturb us here, no longer.

I feel serene. I wish I could live for a bit longer, reminiscence some more, but I can feel my mind slipping away. I can no longer remember who placed me here or why I am here, I just know I am here to die.

A pang of fear. Darkness, why is it so dark? I know not why I wish for light, it scares me.

I lay, enveloped by pressure from all sides, still, petrified. I have long forgotten movement, long forgotten the human way of life.

A glimmer of a word dangles around my ransacked mind, soul. Hopeless. There is nothing of that sort here, I would know, would know.

There is no more me, no more I. My self falls, deeper and deeper, something weighing in. I drift away.
