who is it that said buck and eddie are on parallel journeys atm? because i can't stop comparing the last scene in confessions to their respective mini "oh" moments at eddie's house in wannabes.

in 806 they came together while eddie was joyful and buck was heartbroken, just for completely unrelated reasons. then in 808, eddie had a realization about buck that was joyful, and buck had one about eddie that was rooted in heartbreak. it's the same moment repeated, but now those feelings are actually aimed at each other.

this parallel pretty much guarantees that it is destined to happen at least one more time, and it stands to reason that when it does it will be even more centered on their relationship, pushing them closer until they ultimately find their journeys pointed directly at each other.
