FIRST AND FOREMOST i’ve been rewatching the mandalorian so i’ve been thinking about the fab four mandos au again which means that i’ve been considering mando’a again which MEANS i’ve been thinking about funpoison + “Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum” (“i love you” in mando’a, literal translation “i will know you forever”). AUGH AUGH AUGH AUGH AUGH AUGH. they are SOOOOOOO.

in unrelated thoughts, stream of consciousness style. they love each other SO much like before they’ve started dating kobra likes to make fun of poison because they will straight up just Stare at ghoul with this really big goofy smile just SO “anything you say, baby” but he also makes fun of ghoul because he’s always making excuses to touch them, to brush hair behind their ears and clean up their makeup for them and squeeze their hand. once they’ve started dating they’re SO shy with being affectionate around each other just because it’s so new but poison really loves being held and ghoul makes them feel safe so it’s not uncommon to see them curled up together on the couch with their hands wound together. and ghoul will blush and grin and roll his eyes whenever jet or kobra walk by but just sweep poison’s hair out of their face and tuck them a little closer.

ghoul likes to say they’re soulmates not because their love story lacked any hardship or was fairytale perfect from the beginning but because it WASN’T. and even though it wasn’t perfect, because life isn’t perfect, they kept running into each other. their lives kept meeting and intertwining for better or for worse. and ultimately what came of that was them both gaining an understanding of each other that blossomed into friendship that then slowly turned into being in love with each other. because they’d seen of the worst of each other right from the start and still ultimately said “you’re the one that i want”. for ghoul it means that the witch set their feet on a path towards each other, for poison, who doesn’t believe in the witch and barely believes in the idea of a higher power at all, it feels like maybe they could believe in destiny if nothing else.

oooohhh my god. i do not use tiktok so forgive me if i’m getting the source wrong but the one adventure time clip that’s like “you were a wonderful experience”/“you were everything”. in terms of personal flaws, poison is not necessarily always 100% healthily attached to their loved ones and i honestly think that ghoul’s death ends up being a kind of world-shattering life-altering event for them because he WAS everything. it’s like sometimes they don’t even know how to breathe without him. between the two, ghoul would have been better equipped to deal with poison’s death than poison was for ghoul’s not because he didn’t love them completely or because it wouldn’t have meant as much to him but because ghoul has been dealing with death of his loved ones from a very young age. it’s part of why he became so spiritual, because he let that belief that he would see his loved ones again, that they were safe and protected in their afterlife, be a comfort. poison doesn’t have that, and has never dealt with the death of someone so close to them before in a meaningful way. so it kind of breaks something in them. they don’t handle it very well in any sense.

on a less serious note i think ghoul loves to take poison dancing because it’s one of the only times that they’ll let their mask come off in public. they love to dance, they’re not fantastic at it, and unlike other times where they’ll feign disinterest in a skill if they know they aren’t good at it to save face publicly, if ghoul asks them to dance they’ll do it and they will honestly not focus on anyone else except for him. ghoul likes seeing them when they’re sweaty and breathless and happy and not caring if their makeup is running or if they look silly or how their clothes cling to their body. so a lot of date nights end up being “hey, there’s a band performing at this bar tonight” or “want to go to this party in zone two?” or “the roller rink is having a disco night on friday, want to go?” in fact, i’ve mentioned it before but their first official date is a couples’ night at the zones’ premier roller rink, Mega Moon’s, which used to be a lesbian bar before the wars and now is a locale for all sorts of folks but mostly LGBTQ-oriented :]

another thing i’ve mentioned before but ghoul loves to cook and party is not so great at it. HOWEVER, party DOES like to bake, though that’s not as feasible always in the zones. on the rare chance they get the opportunity though, they’ll get ghoul to help them — their excuse always being that they could use the extra hands but the real reason being so they can hang out together (and steal sugary kisses). i think their favorite thing to make is cookies but brownies are a close favorite just because those are GHOUL’S favorite & he’s written down his grandmother’s brownie recipe which is a hot commodity in the diner.

OH AND I HAVE TOUCHED ON THIS BEFORE but i don’t think i ever properly mentioned that they’re sun and moon coded. TO ME. more specifically day and night coded. i try to push that personal agenda with my writing when i can. when the day met the night……….

Lot of questions in one ask sorryyy

1.) psaltarian’s pet!

okay in all my thinking i have yet to ever consider this because he’s just so. cleanly. like the beach house looks entirely untouched and too sanitary (which is because it costs a fucking years salary to rent for filming but whatever). BUT. after much consideration i think i have landed on

young psaltarian: this guy was fucking around too much i don’t think he cared enough to own any sort of pet that he could actually bond with. probably owns a nice tropical fish tank but they’re sort of just things that exist in his house that he has to feed every now and then as opposed to something he actually likes.

old psaltarian: honestly getting golden retriever vibes. he’s responsible enough to actually care for a dog and it fits his lifestyle, not to mention the actual location of his house. i don’t think he purposefully went out and bought himself a dog but it ended up with him somehow and he’s basically that dad that spends every breathing second complaining about the family dog but is the only one putting in the work. loves taking that thing on beach walks and such but forever gets annoyed by the sand getting tracked in the house and also wet dog smell.

2.) sleeping positions!

sister: sleeps like she’s dead. no like actually. stiff as a board on her back, arms crossed over her chest. it scares everyone.

nihil: starfish because he’s an asshole. loooooves to sprawl out because he’s so used to having his massive fucking bed to himself (absolute nightmare for one night stands).

psaltarian: respectable side sleeper/fetal position. will occasionally be caught napping on his back with his arms crossed over his face

3.) sex positions teehee

sister: cowgirl because she’s a show off. i’ve never really talked about my thoughts on sister’s thoughts on sex but yeah she’s such a show off and loves pretending to be in power (this freak loves insane eye contact). doggie is probably a big one for her but that’s just for her weird breeding kink and she thinks it’s hot. old sister prefers spooning.

nihil: missionary is a big one for him (ugh nihil loves his basic straight sex he’s not immune to it). not to mention he’s a romantic at heart of course he loves being able to see his partner’s face and be annoying about it by talking them through it or just teasing them. also throwing doggie out there because nihil luvs it hard and fast whether it’s receiving or giving. old nihil favors riding.

psaltarian: mating press yay🩷 he’s big on just watching his partners expressions and being in close contact to sneak some distracting kisses in. also he’s probably into some crazy ass positions that require too much coordination and support (cough that nihil would enjoy if he wasn’t built like a twig). big fan of cowgirl too of course. old psaltarian does what he wants forever because he’s not sick or dying for the plot.

Don't know how much I agree with the tags but it's crazy how Louis always bargains with his significant others for his kids. It has been a while since I got to re watch season 1 but didn't Louis bargain with Lestat to let Claudia go and that he will stay? Or am I wholly completely misremembering and in over my head.

YES and the way it all circles back to how louis became man of house and paul & grace’s caretaker in his father’s death. everything he does is about protecting his own, which is why when he makes a mistake with them, it's so heartbreaking. louis promised to stay if lestat turned claudia for him. again, when claudia wants to leave - you’re remembering right. it’s not a coincidence he accepts armand’s companionship (on a bench, mind you) immediately after finding out armand threatened claudia. armand told louis he would leave him be in ‘73 until louis again offers to stay in exchange for daniel’s life. the cycles!! just so crazy that when he does leave, well!

This is the first time I've been able to watch an episode of maws as it airs so here's my take on S2E6!

• Clark is actually being mean and sassy and I love him for it like yes bby please wake up in a better mood next time you were kidnapped not murdered

• I didn't realize in the preview clip that aired a few days ago but Kara's eyes grey out even when she says "model citizen" at the beginning of the episode!

• the look when Clark sees Lois : (( the poor boy didn't even have time to process the breakup before he got knocked out and thrown into space but also she was the first thing he thought of when Kara asked if anyone cared for the real him :((((

• Clark says ow when he fights with Kara over the Polaroid! It's so natural that it took me a second to realize that he probably doesn't normally feel pain from playful roughhousing??

• the fact that Clark immediately clocks Kara the way Jimmy clocked him and Lois. The little shimmer in his eye when he asks if she likes him

• "what, no, what? I don't even know what that means. Stop being all weird with your stupid earth brain" this whole sequence makes me REALLY REALLY look forward to a post-brainiac maws where Clark and Kara can just be cousins in metropolis together (which I fully believe the maws crew will make happen)

• Cousin snowball fight I cryyy

• For a second I almost believed we were actually going to see space traveling and new planets but makes sense

• ok it's been lowkey before this episode but is Clark actually kryptonian super saiyan I don't know the lore

• Kara actually did genocide while brainwashed oh no

• I'm sorry I'm sorry WHAT Jimmy and Lois both 1. Found MM and the brain from the OTHER DIMENSION they traveled to and 2. WENT INTO SPACE TO FIND CLARK my joy is unending I love this show

• Clark is actually going to be used as a weapon nooo poor boy just wants to help I can't handle a world where the maws version of Clark Kent is a murderer :((((

Final thoughts, love! The maws crew is already doing such a good job of making Clark and Kara feel like cousins and I'm so happy she's in the show even though I was honestly hesitant about it at first. The next episode is called Olsen's eleven and once again I am. My joy is immeasurable. I love this show. I love that we get to experience it every week instead of all at once because now I get to comb through all the small animation details while I waitt!!! I'm just sad there were no phones in this episode because HOW will I know if it's still Monday may 9th now???

8) Kit is very outdoorsy. She likes to hike. Loves to climb. Trees especially but she can enjoy climbing rocks, hills, etc.

She likes to bake, she did it a lot for her siblings. Homemade food is her favorite so she likes to bring it to other trainees when possible.

She likes to listen to music to unwind. She also likes to hang out with Kore. Going to get drinks or just talking.

22) In a physical confrontation Kit is fight rather than flight but when it comes to emotional fights she will be very avoidan. Tries to change the conversation and such.

Kit is a lover not a fighter. She wants to make everybody happy. She loves to find things that remind her of her friends. Most of the time if she gets into a fight it is on behalf of somebody she loved.
