A little rant mainly about gen z

The rant is under the cut bc it's long. Btw there are some parts where I talk about my gen alpha siblings

I was born in gen z and one of the last years of it (luckily I am not gen alpha). When I was a child I didn't get a ipad with useless video content on it shoved in my face. I used to watch shows on the TV like Dora the Explorer, Team Umi Zoomi, Bubble Guppies, Little Einsteins, Veggietales, and some others I forgot. I didn't watch TikToks or even have YouTube until I was around 8 years old. I remember when I was in kindergarten my grandma would read me books, my dad would tell made up stories about princesses and adventures, my mom would take me places and we would have fun when i was with her. I've been seeing stuff where parents wouldn't help their kid's school work, not motoring what they are consuming on the internet and most kids now can barely READ. Maybe for some families it's hard to pay attention to their kids because of how much work they have or it's just a one parent household (like mine). But even though in my household, my dad works until 6pm and he is the main parental figure in my life. He still had time to help me with homework, read stories and watch movies with me. I'll hear stories about how kids can barely read these days, when I was first grade I remember getting an award for being the best reader (idk why I got it). I've been in an advanced ELA/English class since 5th grade and currently reading books in a college level with my classmates. When I was younger I wanted to be a soccer player, actor, detective and an artist. I've been hearing that kids want to be influencers and not wanting to go to college. Sure, I've had a time when I wanted to become a influencer but currently I actually want to go to college and I want to become a forensic scientist. Also I've heard people talking about kids being little bitches and parents not caring or going on the child's side. When I was younger I wasn't spanked or had any physical punishment but I had time out or getting something taken away and I still listened to my parents and still had moments where I was afraid of my parents. The difference I see for this is between myself and my younger siblings, my siblings are 8 and 11 years younger than me. They both were born after my mother got remarried, her way of discipline is spanking, yelling and taking things away from my siblings. The same is with my stepdad, even though they both have that way of discipline they still have their moments of gentleness as parents. My brother was born a few years before covid and today he does have a ipad but be barley used it. And if he wants it, he needs to help with chores or something like that. He has ADHD, sensory disorders and has a hard time with talking. He is such a smart kid, I taught him all of his colors in 2 days. He can read so well for his age even though he has those mental disorders. My younger sister is a bit more a part of the gen alpha sterotype. My mom has told me stories about how my sister will punch kids and teachers in her class (she is 2 though so she still has time for her mind to develop). But the difference with most parents is that my mom and I will make her stop hitting people and telling her "No. You don't hit people".

So let's talk about Cynthia and Shy Guy. I've seen videos of Ari with shorter hair and I've seen them with that haircut wearing the pink jacket AND a black jacket. I know, I've talked about Cynthia a few times already and I need y'all to know that I'm still happily confused and I'm gonna say what I've already said. Again. When Cynthia says the pledge at the fair, she still has her hairstyle of the season, so I don't think that she will say the pledge and then leave the Pink Ladies.

Beckendorf: BASS. Argue with the wall, he's a bass, I feel it in my soul

Drew: from a contribution to my last post (@drewtanakaed you're so right), she's the soprano 1 that has an amazing voice but everyone lowkey hates bc she gets all the solos

Bianca: she's the type of person who should be getting solos at least once in a while, but is so shy about her voice that she never does. Mezzo soprano.

Zöe: she feels like an alto 2 to me. She's very confident in her voice, she knows she sounds good, but she won't go out of her way to show off. She's perfectly content with the single-note harmonies she's been assigned

Travis: he's a baritone, but his singing voice is subpar at best. It's not that he's bad, he just doesn't care enough about his singing voice to practice and develop it

Connor: same case as Travis, but I see him as a tenor 2

Katie Gardner (I put her last name bc she's such a minor character but I love her so she's here): soprano 2, she and silena sit and gossip together

Calypso: mezzo soprano. She could probably sing any part though, being a goddess and all (somewhat inspired by Calypso from EPIC the Musical on TikTok)

Octavian: ok so idk about y'all but I had this one tenor in my choir who was so flat, all the time, and he was always fucking everything up for everyone. That's Octavian. Not for any real reason, but I have a very specific hatred towards that kid (fuck you Liam) and I Do Not Like Octavian.

Hey there anon!, I deeply understand your emotions. The hate that JM is going through is really bad and I have personally reported those accounts on twt etc. I even took a few snapshots of a tiktok video comment section... I will surely share them some day or another. Well then lets get started! 2. Loving member

Jimin is the member that I connect emotionally to, he's a sentimental person but he just doesn't show it you just have to pay attention on his behaviour and actions. He consoles many of the members and he provides comfort for them. The picture I attached below sets a great example.

1. BTS MAMA 2018... It was a tough year for them. They were close to disbanding, and the members were emotionally drained. My heart sank when I saw hobi breaking down in front of the crowd, you can find tons of fancams but you should take a close look at Jimin. He handled the situation very well and I love the way he gives his subtle touch of love towards the other members.

2. Taehyung grandma death announcement

I don't think that I need to explain the about the situation. Taehyung was really sad and felt guilty as he couldn't mention his grandma name. He broke down and Jimin immediately noticed him and ran towards him and just gave him little pat/huggie.

3. The Final

Even by looking at the picture you can see the comfort. You know that GCF-TOKYO song “there for you’ which implies that Jk means he will be there for jimin but "you gotta be there for me too” which means jimin gotta be there for him too. So yeah, JM just know jungkook well and he comforts Jk pretty well.It was so cute and i wished i was a part of the audience, i would have had a panic attack looking at them being so cute,fluff,intimate ON STAGE . After Namjoon Jimin has the most remarkable academic achievements in bts. He was one of the top students in junior high and was THE top student in Busan arts high school from ALL the departments. Fun fact Jimin IQ is 128! He was valedictorian too.

"When he was in junior high, he was one of the top students so Jimin's dad thought of enrolling him in a foreign language school. When he decided to go to an arts school, his teachers tried to stop him and were disappointed. He was accepted as the top of his class and attended Busan High School of Arts. 36. Our Jimin didn't spend a lot of time preparing for the arts school. He was dancing popping when he decided to go to the arts school. That group is our pride, BTS.

67. That's what I know too.. I was looking into Busan Arts School before and one class for dance is probably correct. It was mostly music and art classes that I remember. So from Busan Arts School, one out of ten classes and a male student from dance department getting accepted as the top of the class...the percentage is just incredible. I know that the dance class has about 40 students? And male students could be 25:15 or 30:10. Jimin broke through this and became the top.

Namjoon and Jimin really made a huge gamble. They could've went the easier way. Truthfully, if they went their way, they both would have succeeded. But becoming an idol and not knowing what their future will be and BTS not being successful from the beginning must have been really hard for them. But now I'm glad they're successful and they can realize they've made the right choice."

I really respect and idolize him. His personality is unique and its different.He's been through alot. Being kicked from BTS for 8+ times, the members ranking his looks as the last and being called fat and ugly, that's really disturbing. He starved and went on diets just to please the audience and to have a jawline. He works his ass of and he really deserves more. He's obviously cutie,sexy,lovely,sweet guy! He prioritize his career, family and fans before anything. He has absolute heavenly vocals (+crazyyy high notes) and he is the definition of stage presence. PARK JIMIN IS THE STANDARD. Solo toxic fans are definitely going to attack on me but this is the reality.Jimin deserves more and he's such a sweet person. He performs with his whole heart and expresses it wonderfully,he goes all out and each performance comes out from his soul. He loves to perform. I MEAN FOR THE LOOKS, JIMIN IS THE FIRST FOR JUNGKOOK~.

He once even wasn't able to attend THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW due to his sore muscles.

Everybody's probably heard of Tiktok. And for that, I will always be incredibly sorry. The sad truth is, and I know that is hard to hear, is that I'm an avid Tiktok user. There goes my individuality complex.

In this strange mysterious land of Tiktok, there is a variety of odd content- from snakes to people who forget we're not in 2017 with 'epic fails' compilations. But in the midst of all the chaos, there is the most gruesome, cruel community of all, filled with overhypes and low standards. The dreaded booktok.

lol I'm kidding. My 4u page is exclusively cats and books, so if I sound mean or something know that I'm being sarcastic and that I love book content on Tiktok with all my heart. Except when they talk shit about my favorite books. Can you tell I don't have friends already?

Anyway, after 3 paragraphs, I'm finally getting to the point. which books am I rating you ask? You and me both. Because I'm very professional and obviously planned ahead, I'm going to go on Tiktok and rate the first 3 books that I see (and obviously read, though judging books by their covers is very fun indeed) in the hashtag. Hope you don't want to commit suicide by the end of this post:)

1. Ugly Love- Colleen Hoover

honestly, I would love to start off with a negative review, because ranting on the internet is the only thing that gives me the will to live (shoutout to Goodreads). Unfortunately, @bookrecoms on Tiktok has taste. What a shame. But I must admit I cruelly deceived y'all. They actually recommended It Ends With Us, but because I haven't read it and I knew this book was going to come up(like Miles did inside of Tate)(i need a therapist) eventually, so I'm just getting it over with.

I actually really like this book! I know, surprising considering I hate everything, but this book inspired me to turn off the black hole of hate that is my heart for approximately 4-ish hours. My favorite part in the book is that Miles calls Tate Rachel at one point, which I found both traumatic and hilarious. But hey, at least it wasn't at a wedding!

2. We Were Liars- E. Lockhart

I cannot describe the amount of hatred I have for this book. I swear to god it's almost worst than a Thousand Boy Kisses. The ending is the stupidest thing I've ever read in my entire life, and I've read twilight multiple times. Nothing can compare to the amount of anger that I had while reading this. so much wasted potential, and for what? For what? Never read this book. Ever.

I'm so dramatic holy shit, I'm kidding the book itself is fine I guess, the ending was just so annoying. 3/5

3. The Deal- Elle Kennedy

I love this book. you know, sometimes I think about life before I read the deal, and I can't remember anything but pain. Darkness. Suffering. Until I read this book, in a world without Garret Graham, in a world where I haven't embarked on the epic adventure that is this book, my mind only consisted of Percabeth and sushi. Then I read this literary masterpiece. How did Elle Kennedy did not win a noble prize yet? This book can stop wars, global warming, and the conflict in the middle east. I encourage y'all to send a prayer to Elle Kennedy before you go to bed and charge all your rose quartz in the moonlight. Amen.

Shang-Chi (2021) Review Pt. 2

This one will be about the less character-relevant stuff, such as casting, props, settings, and design.

Easiest first: props and costumes.

A bit cool, a bit silly, and bit too "Chinese-themed".

The old Ten-Ring troops had normal armor for the time and age. The new Ten Ring troops looked like the Snake-Eyes fodder ninjas but with tassled helmets. Like I appreciate what they were going for, but...it look dumb dude. And what they were doing with only one hook sword? The electrified thing was cool, but y'all didn't use the bladed hand guard, the combo hook move, the spiked pommel...wasted potential smh. And then the electric arc crossbows....again I appreciate the idea, but that was silly, especially after we showed the Ten Rings sniper with a normal ass gun. Or, just go full sino-futurism and give me the chainsaw spiked club, the electrified monk's spade, taser three section staff.

The villager's clothes were too...saturated, and monochromatic. It kinda reminded me of Mulan (2020) actually, the white people's ancient Chinese clothing. In contrast, in the he TianLongBaBu wuxia series I've been watching, people dress in...normal earth tones. Oh also, too many fucking sandals, where are my black loafers and thick white socks, with rope bindings? Like the kind modern Shaolin monks wear?? The villager's weapons too. Only Xialing's was kind of interesting, the rest are vanilla staffs and sword+shield. Boooo. Where's the dragonscale fangtianhuaji? The dragonscale guandao? Ok I'm done. Just disappointed.

Wenwu's costumes were pure drip in every scene. Zero complaints.

Shang-Chi's letterman's jacket was my favorite costume to be honest. He should not have changed in the village. The final costume seemed a bit too...modern, but not quite to the level of the Black Panther suit. It just seemed like Western superhero top with a vaguely Chinese pattern on it. Or it looked kindof...southeast asian? Wish it had no sleeves.

Katy should've kept her Macau drip. The "traditional" robe just didn't look right.

Xialing looked the best in her inverse Bruce Lee colors crop top and sweats. Like damn.

Ying Li's robes' green is too saturated in my opinion, unnaturally. Same with Michelle Yeoh's character. Now that I think about it, I hardly ever see bright green in traditional Chinese clothes...or modern Chinese fashion. Her pristine white/biege wushu outfit is also meh for me.

Death Dealer's dark blue + yellow colors are quite striking, but a bit odd and out of place with the rest of the Ten Rings' getup. Perhaps it was intentional, since he's the elite trainer? I wish it was more modern, a la Snake Eyes' suit. I would also like to complain about his opera face makeup though; why only the top half? Is that even a real opera face design? It's kind of a dumb half-ass reference I think. Like, Noh masks are used all the time for creepy effect, why not Beijing Opera?

Next, CGI animals.

Morris the Hundun/Dijiang was cute, but I half expected him to suddenly go nuts and devour Slattery, since the Hundun is one of the primordial evil beasts. But Disney needs their marketable mascot. I even saw a Lego piece for him before the movie was released!

The trip through the other world was a bit too safari-like. Like wow, the Ninetails is just chilling by the road, and a herd of Qilin conveniently pass by. The execution of these creatures were fine, though the Qilin eyes were too "dead".

I don't have problems with the Lions' design, but they were completely unnecessary, and lowered the stakes for the final battle for me. Those two lions could literally tear apart all five of Wenwu's trucks in less than a minute.

I stated already, the big evil monster, the little soulsuckers, and the dragon are completely unnecessary to me. Even when I saw just the wood carving of the soulsucking bats, I felt disappointed. Xialing and Shangchi spent way too long riding the big dragon and not doing kungfu :/

Onto settings.

I just recently visited Bay Area! The hilliness of SF was nicely showed off by the bus fight.

Macao seemed well-grounded and normal for a modern Chinese metropolis. Was portrayed better than Tokyo was in Snake Eyes in my opinion. The bamboo scaffolding scene reminded me heavily of Rush Hour 2's Hong Kong fight, and I could hear Jackie Chan assuring us "don't worry, Chinese bamboo, very strong!".

The Ten Rings compound was...eh. No defining features to locate it anywhere real so whatever. But the interior was weirdly homey?

The Ta Lo village is what I really want to complain about: why they gotta throw Chinese people back to the Xia dynasty like that? Straw huts? Really? And there was a total of like 7 buildings there, across a tiny area. That is not a village, it's a medium-sized temple complex. Kung Fu Panda 3's hidden panda village was loads more impressive, with interesting geography. This was on a flat plane next to a pond. Combined with the costuming, it's like hello, it's hokey Western orientalism again.

Casting.

Tony Leung. Perfect. Outstanding. Phenomenal. Sexy as hell. I have recovered fully from Lust, Caution. I see on Tiktok that westerners are thirsting after him, and I am very satisfied. The "Killmonger-Loki" Effect is now the "Wenwu-Killmonger-Loki" Effect. I only wish he were younger, because I hate the "daddy" kink. Mr. Leung, you are a hero to Asian-American men. Thank you.

Awkwafina. Yeah she is pretty good as the unabashed ABC friend. But lately, I feel she has been over-used as the main Chinese-American actress. On some social media, I have seen Black users complain of her 'blaccent' and vow to boycott Shang-Chi in protest. I'm inclined to defend her, as it is probably what she grew up with, and the boycott feels like another attempt to draw moral hierarchical divisions between minorities. Similar sentiment is "yall didn't come out for Black Panther, why should we come out for Shang-Chi?". I don't have any data as to whether 'we' did come out for Black Panther, but I generally disapprove of POC factionalism.

Simu Liu. I'm glad that Westerners are thirsting over him too. I'm glad he's very enthusiastic and affable, and well-liked in the Asian-American community. He's us! And he got a shirtless scene! But the catch is...he doesn't fit the current Chinese standard for "hot guy actor".

From the majority angle: that's toxic af. He's hot enough, why are we being so picky with dumb Asian beauty standards? Will we ever properly support ourselves? Like damn, this is the first Asian-American lead in a goddamn Marvel movie, and this is how you treat him?? By the Heavens.

From the other angle: his eyes are small, his jaw kind of round, head kind of wide. Not the most masculine, but definitely not feminine. He's a normal Chinese-American dude. Chinese dude, Harbin, Heilongjiang born. Compare that to Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Paul Rudd, Chris Pratt, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Mackie, etc. These are among the finest western specimens; why did the pick the Asian hero to be played by the 'normal-looking' dude? Was Jackson Wang not available? Or Ludi Lin? I personally have a suspicion that his appearance most fits the stereotypical look of an Asian man to Western audiences, and that's why he was cast.

He's received hate for this, from Reddit r/aznidentity, the sub that I frequent, which currently is cheering Shang-Chi's box-office success. That's toxic af, and must be heartbreaking for him. Unfortunately, it's part of the larger conflict of Western and Eastern media, representation, markets, and culture. And that's a big fish to wrangle in part 3.

Walking to the bathroom, you handle your business, hop in the shower, and put on your uniform. You walk to your vanity and just look for a minute, not knowing what to do with that mane on the top of your head. So you go with a simple looking, but actually kinda hard hairstyle. A slicked back ponytail.

Finally finished, you fix your edges and grab your lipgloss and mascara. You know the drill. Walking downstairs, you see a big ass pomeranian talking to your mama. Why is he here?

"Good morning mama," you walk towards her, kissing her cheek. "Why are you here?"

"Because I can. Your mama let me in."

"Duh. Lets go. Bye mama"

"Yeah, bye mama." This cocky fuck. Dragging him out of the house, you punch him in the stomach. "Don't call my mama 'mama'. We ain't married."

"Don't hit me." He bonked you on the head. Like deadass bonked you on the top of your head. "And if I marry you, I can call her 'mama'."

"I- No comment. C'mon before we're late."

Finally arriving at hell, you go to sit down and plan how much you're going to pay attention today. Then Denki walked up to you. You two hadn't interacted much besides small talk here and there. He was cute, kinda pervy, but cute.

"Hey Y/N!"

"Hey Denki. You need something?"

"I was wondering if I could... maybe get your number?" He was very shy. It was adorable.

"Yeah." Taking his phone, you put your number in his contacts. "Text me, kay?" You smiled and turned back around. Then, you noticed it was colder than Santa's ass crack. Putting your arms in your shirt, you put your head down, waiting for Aizawa.

"Damn, it's cold in here." You hug yourself closer, trying to trap any body heat in. One thing you hate to be is cold. Cold is bad. Very bad. Then, you felt a tap on your thigh. You were going to kill this boy one day.

But he handed you a hoodie. Maybe he won't get killed yet.

"Here big head. I saw that you were cold." Awww he was shy.

"Thank you," you muttered, flustered. If you weren't black you would've been blushing, but you can't. The hoodie smelled good. You ain't never smelled something so heavenly in your entire existence. Putting it on, your mood was instantly lifted, but you wouldn't show it.

                                         ~Timeskip to lunch ~

Grabbing your bento box, you walk the cafeteria. Looking for an empty seat you hear someone yelling. "Big head! Come sit here" You look to see the Bakusquad sitting at a table together. Walking towards them, Bakugo scoots over so you can sit next to him.

"L/N, hey!" Denki said.

"Hi Denki!" Then you saw a pink blob, a red rock, and tape dispenser. "Hey Sero. Wassup Mina. Kiri, hi," You said to everyone, facing your attention towards each person. Opening your bento box, you see some wonderful, delectable, delicious gumbo and garlic biscuits. You grab a spoon out of the bento and start to eat, then you notice everyone staring at you.

"What? Is there a problem?" Then they all looked away awkwardly. "No... Of course not."

"So what are y'all looking at?" Looking at them confused, you realize that they had probably never seen someone eat gumbo before. "OH! Y'all wanna try it?" Everyone nodded their heads. Usually, you didn't share your food, but they were curious so maybe this one time you could share. Grabbing an extra spoon, you give everyone a spoonful.

Their eyes lit up instantly. "Big head, what is this?" Everyone looked at you expectantly. "It's called gumbo. It's really big in the States as well as other places. You like it?"

Without even answering, he grabbed your spoon and bento and took another bite. This motherfu- You looked at everybody else. "You guys like it?"

"Y/N, this is amazing! I need to have more of this."

"I can probably get Mama to make some more and you guys can come over and eat."

Then you turn and see this blonde bitch still eating your food. He completely pushed his food aside and started gobbling yours. "Damn! Slow down, this ain't even yours." Taking it back you eat more of it. Enjoying it, you feel someone staring at you. Mind you, everyone has been talking throughout the whole lunch break up to this point and whoever was staring didn't stop.

"What Bakugo? You want some?" He turned around flustered. Of course would be flustered, emotionally constipated bastard. "Here," you push the bento towards him to let him eat again. Before he could start eating again, you take the spoon. "Say thank you."

"Tch," he scoffs. Giving him a look, he mumbles, "Thank you, dumbass." Better. "You're welcome, asshole."

"You two are cute." Mina. Of course she would say that bull. "I know I'm cute, I don't know about him though." You started to laugh at Bakugo. The punched your thigh and kept eating. This big ass hedgehog just punched me. Cocking your hand back, you slap the back of his head. As soon as Denki, Kiri, and Sero heard that you hear: "I like ya cut G."

That pissed Bakugo off. He started yelling and cursing at us, drawing attention to the table. Ew, attention. "Shut up! Stop yelling you damn hedgehog. You got everybody looking at us like we some damn fools. Be quiet!" Silence. "Thank you."

It's time to go now, grabbing the spoon and the box, you start to walk back to the classroom. Noticing you still had the hoodie on, you realize that Mina wasn't only talking about you sharing your food. Discombobulated, you put your head down and wait for everyone to get back.

~Another timeskip because I'm too lazy to write anything else for this part~

Finally, the end of the day. No more being social with people. You start packing up as usual. Getting ready to walk out the door, you realize to still had the hoodie on. You started to take it off, then a hand stopped you. "Keep it." Unsure, you look at him. "Are you sure? I can give it back if you want it."

"If I wanted it back, I would've taken it already. Keep it, big head."

"Thank you. Now, let's go" Grabbing his wrist, you drag him to the exit. It was the usual route, and more bickering amongst each other. Finally at home, you say your goodbyes and start to open the door when you felt a tug on your hand. Then a kiss on your cheek.

He snickered.  Was he copying you? Sneaky fuck. "Text me," was the last thing he said before walking away towards his house. How dare he be so smooth all the time. You were gonna catch him slipping one day.

Walking inside, you start to unwind. Sitting down at your desk to get started on the homework you didn't finish in class, you remember to text Denki and Bakugo. Now you were distracted. You and Denki sending memes and tiktoks, and you and Bakugo with your usual bickering and casual flirting.

After you finished your homework you went to lay down. Then, you got a text from Bakugo.

Before you could respond you had an incoming FaceTime call. Answering the phone you propped your phone up , grabbing your bonnet/scarf and started to wrap your hair while you two started to talk.

"What are you doing, Big head?"

"Wrapping my hair so it stays protected while I sleep and because it saves time so I won't have to do too much in the morning."

You continued to answer his questions about your hair. You two had been talking for hours, about everything and anything in between. Eventually, you heard a snore. He was sleeping. Looking at the time you saw it was 3:53 A.M. Sinking further into your bed, you slowly start to fall asleep.

You finally felt at peace while sleeping since It had happened. You could get used to it.

fifthly (is that even a word lol autocorrect says it's not), i had a really embarrassing first impression on one of my professors and it makes me feel horrible so i'm telling myself to make this a learning moment so i don't make this mistake again but god i wanna cry (to make up for it i'm gonna work 10x harder - or at least the best i can do juggling the classes that i have now - and make a really dedicated effort to make his office hours because i think it was 20? i don't remember but you need a lot of good impressions to change the bad impression and i have like a couple weeks left- tbh i think i only have like 1 remaining week because he canceled next week's and then there's thanksgiving break and then dead week so actually maybe there's 2- I DONT KNOW BUT THE ONES I CAN MAKE I SWEAR I WILL MAKE

to my now hs seniors who want to go to college, please ik ur school might tell you otherwise but max 1 technical (stem) and 1 writing based class per semester PLEASE

ummmm oh yeah also ik good study habits just don't develop overnight but please take this time while y'all have it to make really good habits bc y'all will need it, barely getting by in my classes and i'm STRUGGLING bc of it :,)

for reference, i was in the top 10 at my hs, had a 4.0 gpa unweighted, took like 12 ap exams, and a bunch of other things that probably make me look cool (or average, depending on the person that you are), and i got into my dream school (still extremely proud of myself for that so no i will not take any crap for that - also sorry but please don't ask which school, just know that it's really cool lol), but i am like oh my god wow

i don't want to say it's the "college depression" but y'all the struggle is SO real

so yeah

please at least try to take the first sem easy, i understand that for some majors, that's not possible but i hope it won't hurt to try
