I wanna lore dump about my oc really quickly but no one is awake I believe,, so here we are! (Btw this is based off of mostly everything that has happened in rp on the @/habitual-creatures blog)

Also Xia/💜 anon is literally me in a way. Like I'm not kidding Xia was supposed to be my persona and now oc at the same time. So yeah!

Also, while writing this, I just realized it's a HUGE lore dump! So if you don't wanna read it all you don't have to :3

So how do I put this,,,

She's uuh like the Goddess of Chaos/Anything it's a mix of both! Xia became one at the age of 4 and because she got struck by lightning after a traumatic event with her dad,, Her age range is 13-17. (Because that's my age range, I'm not getting specific)

Just sometimes her emotions can cause trouble! Or she can just cause trouble when she wants. She looves chaos and watching people fall or suffer. But she holds back on a lot of those urges. Knowing they aren't right until it is deserved (MOST OF THE TIME),, :3

Aside from Smoke getting in her head and telling her to do things, she has another set of voices terrorizing her!

They tell her to do HORRIBLE things. Like very very bad. They are a pain and she oftens breaks down a lot because of the voices getting loud. That hasn't happened recently because of her dads (HABIT and Evan) keeping her grounded half the time. They are the only ones she actually trusts enough.

Xia masks her emotions a lot by acting super unserious and childish at times, so after bottling up all her emotions she tends to break down at times. She can't seem to be serious when she actually needs to be. Causing her to get in trouble.

She has horrible bad habits. Lip picking, skin picking, biting nails and picking at them, hair pulling, etc.

EXTREMELY touch starved in a platonic way. So she tends to act clingy with people she trusts (Mostly HABIT) Xia isn't used to a lot since she never actually anything half the time.

Uuuhh something something her mom sucks (iykyk) and she needs better parents or just a better life in general!! (Me tho)

Forgets she's a God/Goddess at times so she rarely uses her powers, or is just to scared to try to use them.

Since she is the literal Goddess of Anything she can do anything. If she thinks of it then it could definitely happen. She wants the world to disappear? Boom. Done! I'm not kidding, literally ANYTHING. (Ik she's basically a mary sue or what ever I don't care let me have fun)

She's not entirely unstoppable. Like ofc you could try to kill her. But she's a God and is basically immortal. Something that can kill her? Herself. Or a being more powerful than her.

Yeah she's just a very sad character overall. (Even though it's just me with modifications,, Even her design is just irl me!)

Previous anon here! I haven't watched Between us (I think was the show called? With Team and Win) so I can only use UWMA as a reference but Pharm is very diffent from Bu Xia lol.

I'm really curious tho - Rain from LITA is also a Brat but he's different kind of brat compared to Bu Xia, isn't he?

Bu Xia seems to be naughty I guess? But the moment Chiang Ji puts him in line he stays there? I think? Maybe I'm wrong? But Rain seems to be the type to push Payu's buttons more compared to Bu Xia?

Bu Xia is very different from Pharm. Pharm and White are alike. Some brat tendencies, but they are really more submissive. While Bu Xia, Team, and Rain are full on brats. Now, when it comes to describing Doms and subs, you have to think of this as a sliding scale spectrum. My horrible example below.

So Rain would be in the Red range along with Team. While Bu Xia would be in the brat catagory. Pharm is subservient (just realized I spelled this wrong on the chart. Nobody judge me! I made it quickly just for this.) White is a subservient that squeezes closer to the orange side of things without fully making it to brat category.

The SAM Submissive - A SAM type submissive, also known as a Smart-Assed Masochist, is just that, a smart-talking submissive with a quick tongue. Usually, their Sammie behavior isn't actually a cry for attention; it's just their way of being playful. In fact, most SAMs when actually threatened with punishment will back off, saying that they were only playing and that they didn't mean anything by it. Occasionally, this behavior can be incredibly frustrating to their partners, but the rewards far out weigh the negatives.

hi! i know 'call the ocean waves ashore' was discontinued/dropped but i just wanna say that it was the first qzgs/tka oc-fic i saw at all in the fandom and what got me to look to see if i could find any others - consequentially finding honestly one of my current favs. i just reread it tonight and reading the plot notes on the last chapter has me so wistful - and longing imagining reactions of like, blademaster characters (hello huang shaotian, blue river, and lu hanwen) finding out that xia lan used to be athena? YX finding out that they both know WXF??? Anyways. Just wanted to drop by and say that like. even tho her story might be over i sincerely love her and her story very much, and thanks for writing what you did 💜💜

Thanks, glad you enjoyed that plot bunny! It was one of the first fics that I had very extensive plans for (as you can probably tell by the long plot outline that was shared in the last update) and even though not all of the details were fleshed out, there was a clear end that I intended to write towards. Obviously I didn't manage to get very far for that plot bunny, but it was a fun exercise while it lasted and I'm glad there were readers who enjoyed it nonetheless!

A few more bonus tidbits of stuff that never made it into the story:

-The new character that Xia Lan makes in the China server is male. Her half-brother coaxes her into playing by asking her to help him level up an alt account, so she made a male character. This causes various misunderstandings.

-Xia Lan, having no idea about the details of the early gaming scene in China, does not realize that Wu Xuefeng and Ye Xiu were teammates. When she gets in touch with Wu Xuefeng and convinces him to come help out, there is a shocked reunion that takes place as a result.

-Perhaps unsurprisingly, Xia Lan has an aversion to hot liquids. At one point, there's a near-accident when she's handed a plastic foam cup of too-hot soy milk by a vendor, and it takes her awhile to calm down in the aftermath. Ye Xiu is confused by the extreme reaction, but makes sure that their other teammates don't crowd her or overwhelm her.

The mystery behind this isn't solved until Xia Lan's scars are discovered and Cynthia publicly confesses what happened in GhostFyre.
