ok well the archive of my main twitter is working, not my private one. it says if something went wrong i can fill out a page on the privacy center thing... which is once again asking for my full legal name, a picture of my ID, etc etc
#awesome thanks#gonna try extracting it again. maybe i messed something up when i renamed it or something weird like that#after that extracts i need to restart my laptop tho#really should get a better screen recorder besides. xbox game bar. but this one is built in and gets the job done#problem is half the time it wont start up. and if it isnt starting then... oh well?#there is literally no option to tell the laptop ''hey this isnt working'' it just greys itself out and becomes unusable#sometimes task manager shut down and restart is fine but if that doesnt work just restart the entire laptop :/#thankfully this doesnt happen OFTEN but it's just often enough to be annoying and microsoft support is useless#chat

smiling friends as discord mods ; ☆
crazy ass idea
— glep (8/10 discord mod)
actions ☆
i think of him as the social media manager of the company and if mr. boss trusts him that much to maintain a positive image of the company online then being a discord mod would be a breeze
can control some semi-complicated stuff in the server like role-setting with reactions and unlocking different channels by reacting to a message, definitely improves this function if he thinks its faulty
^^^ any technical difficulties within the server are
takes being a discord mod pretty seriously yet he has the ability to be lighthearted about it sometimes
often mass bans people over spamming or any other offense without alerting everyone else, so like no context banning
^^^ ppl initially had a problem with it but then they lightened up a little when they noticed that those mass bans actually improved the server
^^^^ he still scares the shit out of everyone though
always online and monitoring the server
profile ☆
has definitely splurged money on discord nitro and those discord profile decor and effects
his profile would be decked tf out and follow a purple/green aesthetic
^^^ he has the clyde invaders icon skin and his account profile is purple
^^^^ idk if he has an anime girl pfp or not bc on one hand he would definitely have one but on the other hand he'd have a profile pic of a character he likes from a game.
one thing's for sure tho is that he never felt the need to change his discord profile picture unless he was in a server made for his job then he'd just change that server's profile pic to put his face and that's it lol
discord username is probably like theamazingGlep69 or something
his discord bio is definitely a random video game quote and that's it
his spotify, xbox, and steam account are the only things connected to his discord
extras ☆
always energized by those gamer-advertised energy drinks
^^^ no specific preference for like g-fuel or gamer supps or something he just grabs whatever he can get his grimy little hands on
selectively sends friend requests to people and never accepts friend requests from randos
^^^ in fact he INSISTS on being the one sending the friend requests to people instead of it being the other way around
^^^^ as a result he has less than 15 people on his friends list and he's happy with it
he definitely unadds ppl he hasn't spoken to in a while though to keep it ~fresh~ or something
— mr. boss (6/10 discord mod)
actions ☆
ok so like
he isn't TERRIBLE at modding he knows the basics
he's just very... lax. he's the type to not see anything wrong with spamming or other similar offenses just because he genuinely doesn't think it's a big deal
^^^ he'd be like oh what theyre just expressing themself idk
^^^^ or like when it comes to random ppl dming mods he'd be like idk what if they just wanted to ask a question but were too shy to do it in the main server YKWIM?????
he already lets his employees do what they want during their shifts so it wouldn't be very different in a discord server
because it's online, he already doesn't take it very seriously lol he'd just find any chaos amusing
it's like a giant group chat!!!!
BUT DESPITE ALL THAT, he's really good at organizing server events like giveaways and movie/game nights
he'd always make sure to make the events fun and accessible for everyone
as a result most of the server usually participates in the events
he's just not good at... moderation in general
he also doesn't enjoy the banning/warning ppl aspect bc it makes him feel really bad
profile ☆
he has an anime girl pfp and/or has matching pfps with ppl for a certain amount of time ONLY if they match his profile theme
his profile is a cutesy kawaii light pink anime girl aesthetic
^^^ he'd have the cat ears icon skin and his profile would be pink
^^^^ an evil part of me wants to say he has a sailor moon pfp
yes he also has discord nitro
what else will he do with the money he earns
he has cutesy kaomojis in his bio too and probably has the initial of someone in a text heart like < b 3 (b for brittney LOL)
only his spotify is connected to his profile
extras ☆
also brittney was his discord kitten
^^^ they had matching anime couple pfps
^^^^ they'd always vc
^^^^^ have fallen asleep on vc once
he uses cringe text faces like uwu or owo just bc he knows everyone hates it
^^^ he thrives off of the negativity idk
everyone in a server he moderates would probably feel the safest dming him out of every other mod
^^^ his dms r always open
ok so i know that he has normal ass headphones but hear me out. give him pink cat ear headphones. it's perfect
he has more than the usual amt of discord friends
he always has aesthetic ass discord statuses
has his online status set as idle bc its cuter
— allan red (7/10 discord mod)
actions ☆
he's the mod that everyone complains abt
definitely rewrites the rules and makes sure they're enforced at all times
he's the typa person to call someone out if they break the rules in any capacity
"@/feetlicker Please change your name, that is not appropriate"
"@/charlienipples No memes in general chat, go to #meme-channel."
unlike glep though, he gives a lot of context as to why he'd ban someone
^^^ maybe 2 much context
^^^^ in fact he very rarely bans ppl, the most he sends out is a very detailed warning in dms
always types in full sentences
most server members are afraid of dming him actually he's sorta intimidating
he definitely keeps the server in order but his reputation is just not the best
but he is very confrontational so if someone is causing a problem he isn't afraid of getting it dealt with
he's usually tagged during disputes bc he's level-headed enough to deal with them and offers good points
^^^ that doesn't stop others from thinking he's annoying though :((
very misunderstood but has good intentions
he has a set schedule on when he logs in and moderates, then gives himself free time
so basically he isn’t online all day
profile ☆
he’d have one of those blank discord profiles
like he’d make it normal-ish but he wouldn’t care too much abt sparkly text themes or connecting any of his other socials to it
uses a picture of himself as his icon and has a matching red background that is randomly generated by discord
^^^ (he didn’t pay for discord nitro)
^^^^ (everyone point and laugh)
^^^^^ (he just doesn’t find it necessary since he isn’t online THAT often)
his username is either his full name or a very absurd npc name (like scaryantelopes2536) theres no in-between
he never has a status set
clean profile but its boring to look at basically
extras ☆
takes online status very literally— if he doesn’t want to be disturbed, he puts dnd, if he’s online, he sets it as online, etc etc (so surprisingly very honest)
his profile pic looks professionally done in a studio then unfortunately it got very pixelated as a result of discord itself so its kinda funny looking
his friends list is only the 4 other ppl from smiling friends
doesn’t know or like brainrot or modern internet slang so when ppl say skibidi toilet or sigma rizz he genuinely has to get up and walk around outside to stay sane
is usually the one being trolled/pranked
IS the one that cringes at mr. boss using uwu or owo
— charlie dompler (5/10 discord mod)
actions ☆
HE'S THE TYPE TO be really good at it first then he'd lose interest
he'd get a high from it bruh
just the idea of having power would be enough to get him rolling
for the first couple months he'd be all up in the server channels being hella active
he'd stay up all night just moderating bc its exciting to give someone a warning if they act up or whatever
^^^ if he gets sleepy he drinks an energy drink
*someone fucks up in a server* "Ooh, oooh-- this is my favorite part, man. Watch, watch." *sends a 2 word dm to the person that just says 'warning One'* "Oh, haha! that--that was so fun."
yea he'd be riding on dopamine hits of doing good for the server
since he'd be sleep deprived he'd misspell a lot and send short answers so if someone asks why they were banned he'd give very short answers
"hey why was i banned lol" "bad" "what" "yeah"
i don't think he'd do much in the server other than moderate and make new channels
then he gets bored.
uh oh
all of a sudden he's very relaxed about everything so he would probably stop moderating so much
he would probably be doing the bare minimum now lol
5/10 bc he goes in and out of caring and not caring so i guess sometimes he's pretty good
discord is probably one of the only socials he is really active on
he would give himself dumbass roles just bc
profile ☆
some sort of meme/cursed profile icon with flaming sword icon skin
would definitely have an orange-themed profile in general bc he thinks its a color with an unfair reputation
every social he has will be linked to his damn profile
has a dumbass username
^^^ probably one of the only one of the 5 who doesn't use his real name on discord
^^^^ he would change his dn every once in a while JUST BC to be funny or something
its so stupid he would call himself the Poo Meister after letting a smooth one out
he's always on DND
uses his discord status to ask someone to play a game w him
extras ☆
he joins random meme servers just for the emotes
he's already a discord mod for like 3 servers rn and he's given up
he has a lot of online friends which is why he doesn't use his real name
he's always in a vc with someone
he's very very social online (i bet he has a popular twitter gimmick account too)
he made his current discord account when he was really young and he just stuck with the same one
he adds all the bots to servers he moderates bc he thinks he has amazing taste
— pim pimling (7/10 discord mod)
actions ☆
he would be the one doing all of the accouncements and questions of the day
he takes those jobs so serious
he types with caps on and uses encouraging gifs and emoticons (yes emojis too)
he never really moderates, he's the one just announcing things tbh he has a lot to say
even when he conveys bad news he'd do a little :P at the end just to soften the blow
(he's also the one who usually kindly lets people know why a certain mod banned them just in case said mod doesn't wanna elaborate)
his positivity pisses ppl off sometimes
don't shoot the messenger
he just logs in every morning, and writes a whole paragraph in announcements to wish everyone a happy day! then he types up the question of the day and logs off until the night
pim pimling is a very busy man
checks his notifs throughout the day tho (just in casies)
he just spreads positivity
one of the most important people in the server he's in at all times
he does intimidate ppl sometimes just bc of his role but he does try to be as not-intimidating as possible
if he's confronted on anything he does wrong he is quick to take responsibility for his actions
^^^ doesn't depend on the person's role, like if he bans someone's friend and the person pleads their case, he's very quick to apologize
^^^^ might cause him to be perceived as someone with no backbone but he's just very empathetic and understanding
profile ☆
his icon is definitely a picture of his face, probably some sort of cute selfie
similar to allan, he uses his full name in his discord dn and user
he does have nitro but he only uses it to change his discord background to a picture of nature
his bio would be long as shit. "Hi! (grin) I'm Pim Pimling and I'm 34 years old!" etc etc etc
^^^ definitely overshares in his bio too
has no socials attached to his profile at all
very straightforward profile
he uses his status a LOT to say the most random things?!>>W "Currently eating a bowl of cereal!"
extras ☆
he has a lot of people on his friends list bc despite everything ppl do have a soft spot for him
he had discord for a while like charlie did but he only ever used it to text friends and thats it
really interactive and responds quickly to dms
his dms r very open
he loves emoji reactions so much
he helps mr. boss with server events a lot
^^^ he also participates in every one
he likes using video calls in a vc
hallo ^w^ i just want to end this off by saying i now have an ask box to submit any headcanon requests if needed!! yayy
#smiling friends#smiling friends charlie#smiling friends pim#smiling friends mr. boss#smiling friends allan#smiling friends alan#smiling friends glep#charlie dompler#pim pimling#mr. boss#mr boss#allan red#sf glep#this took me three days#i feel like i’m being dramatic but i’m not#they’re finally here#i can’t believe i wrote the smiling friends as discord mods what the hell#insane work

Occult Encounter at the Mall
I was hanging out with my friend, Emily, I usually call her Em, and her friend group. We were in her car listening to music, on our way to the mall. Em and her friends are really cool. They’re all into video games, anime and nerdy stuff like me.
We arrive at the mall. Em’s driving is kinda wonky, but we get to our destination in one piece, thankfully🙏 We walk in to the mall. Straight to a clothes store. I notice they only have women’s clothes. Is it just me or is it always hot in clothes stores? I almost build up a sweat from just standing there. But luckily we didn’t stay there for too long. I start to remember I kinda hate shopping, but then we walked to this store were they have all sorts of pop culture stuff like games and comic books and such. It’s way more fun to look in these kinds of stores in my opinion.
We start getting hungry so we decide that we should get something to eat. We go to the food court. It has several restaurants and chains circling a big open space with tables and seats. Me and Em get a hot dog each. While her friends got some boba tea, a pizza and a quesadilla, which they shared. While we wait in line for the food, one of Em’s friends comes back, she had bought a sweater. It looked pretty cool. A knitted sweater with a gothic inspired cemetery, crows and flies flying around in the air while the ground was infested with rats and worms. I thought it was a cool juxtaposition with the knitted, cozy, warm crafting method, mixed with the dark, harsh, cold realities of the design.
Then we got our foods and went to sit down and enjoy our meals.
After a while we get done eating and start to discuss what to do next. None of us gets any specific idea, so we just hang around and chat for an hour or two. All of a sudden music starts blasting from the speakers. They’re playing Gangnam Style. And a person starts dancing on the open floor right in front of us. Suddenly others starts to join in. I can’t believe it. I realize it’s a flash mob. Im like; What the hell is going on? Have we been transported back to 2012??
Em told me that there was too many people there and that her anxiety was going wild. So we decide to leave. Her friends wanted to stay and see the show though. Which was no problem. On our way out we walk past this one store. I ask if they’re ever going to restore this shop, I can’t remember last time I saw it open.
Theres shutters over the entrance, but it has some holes in it so I try to shine the light from my phones flashlight in there to get a better look. But it’s still too dark to really see anything. Then my friend tries to be funny and tries to spook me, so she jumps on my back, making me drop my phone in to the store. «Nice, what do we do now?» I try to stretch my arm into the store through the shutter holes, but the openings are to small to fit my entire arm. As I try to make my arm fit I notice the shutters are kinda shrugging off the floor. I try to lift them and they fly up. Someone must have forgotten to lock them.
No one else were nearby, everybody in the mall were probably to preoccupied with the flash mob. So we walk inside. I grab my phone off the floor. I shine my phone on the stand I vaguely see next to me, and there I see all these games and statues. This store used to be a GameStop. All GameStops in my country are now closed down. Which is sad😿 This store must have been closed down since the start of the 2010s, at least. Because the shop was filled with games for the xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. Did we actually travel back in time or what is even happening right now?
I started remembering I used to go to this store all the time when I was just a kid. It was such a blast from the past. Like a rush of nostalgia. The games were scattered on the shelves, like half of them had been cleared for the shut down of the store. They still had some solid games though, like Super Mario Galaxy, the original Red Dead Redemption, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Black Ops, God of War 3. They also had box sets on the top shelves. The ones you could preorder and get a statue with the game, or some times other miscellaneous thingys. I couldn’t believe that these things were just laying around there. Em was also pretty awestruck.
Em immediately rattled on about how cool it all was, but also wondered why this would still be here. I had no idea, but I knew one thing. I wanted to check out the backroom. I always wondered what was on the other side of that door. It was located behind the counter. When I was small only the employees were allowed entrance. I always wondered what was on the other side when they would go check if they had a game or something.
I walked up behind the counter to the door. I laid my hand on the door handle, and pushed it down. Of course, it was locked. I turned around and flashed the flashlight of my phone on the counter. There was a computer and two monitors on the top of the desk, it didn’t work anymore. Beneath it were some drawers. I went through them. They were filled with game discs. I noticed that there was a key chain down in the corner of the one drawer. Maybe one of the keys could fit the door.
One of the keys did fit. I opened the door, and inside I saw a red ouroboros surrounding an inverted pentagram made out of Celtic knots, with an ankh in the middle of the pentagram. There were candles in each of its corner, half burned down. Each of the points of the pentagram pointed to its own symbol. I had to search them up and try to find them when I got home, so hopefully these are right. Under the middle downwards point of the pentagram was an alchemical solar symbol. At the middle left point was a Sri Yantra symbol. In the upper left corner the cross of saint Peter, i.e. an inverted cross. In the upper right corner was the sigil of Lucifer. And at the middle right point the I’itoi symbol. Pretty weird.
When Em came in behind me she didn’t say anything. She then said she wanted to get out of there now. So we left.

Team Sonic Racing
Original Platform: Xbox One, PS4,Switch, PC
Original release: 21st May 2019
Version Played: PC
Available to buy: Yes
Taking things in a different direction from Sonic All Stars Racing and Transformed, this kart racing game is entirely focused on the Sonic franchise, but with a twist of its own: you play in teams of three. While it does present some problems, it has some really interesting ideas.
Characters are split into three types: Speed, Technique and Power (similar to Sonic Heroes and Sonic Riders). Speed characters have the highest top speed, technique characters can go over rough terrain with no penalty and power characters can smash through obstacles without taking damage. They all ultimately feel quite balanced, and you can make further customisation to your cart to change stats or colour styles.
The racer on your team in the highest position will leave a “trail” behind them, any teammates following the line will build up a boost, which activates when they move out of it. If you coordinate well enough, you can technically keep leapfrogging each other. You can also pass item boxes between you (which can also increase the power of some items). Doing these team actions will build up your ultimate gauge, which you can trigger an Ultimate power, which makes you invincible and faster for a short period, and works even better if all three people on a team activate it at once.
All the items are based on Wisps, which is a neat idea for items, but unfortunately their icons aren’t very clear, so it’s not as easy as some games to remember what each one does. Different skill types also have their own unique wisps. These are more impactful than in the previous games (especially in speed types), but if an ally swerved in front of you, you get a little boost to recover much faster, so it’s a nice little touch.
Team Sonic Racing has a story mode called Team Adventure. Bizarrely, this is single-player only (I was expecting up to three players locally, especially as it’s literally got the word “Team” in the mode name). This is where one big problem with the team gameplay impacts you the most: you’re reliant on your AI teammates to be good. You can sometimes perform really well and get first place, pass back every single wisp to them and still not win the race.
Having to rely on AI racers also means that local multiplayer feels a bit off, due to having your performance affected by how well your teammates do. The ideal way to play Team Sonic Racing is to organise groups of 6, 9 or 12 people to play online, with voice chat set up between each team, which is a lot of faff to do. You can play without the team mechanics, but if you’re turning off the main feature, you may as well play Sonic Racing Transformed instead.
The 21 tracks are split into 7 locations. The new locations all look stunning: Planet Wisp, Glacierland, Sandopolis and Rooftop Run, and the individual levels feel distinct (although all Plant Wisp levels look quite similar).I really love the three Rooftop Run levels, all with a completely different atmosphere. Glacierland is a brand new icy location, with lots of floating ice crystals that look like more detailed versions of the Laser Wisp crystals from Sonic Colours.
Unfortunately, the other three locations are Seaside Hill, Casino Park and Final Fortress. These nine tracks are returning from the Sonic All Stars Racing games. The visuals have been completely updated and they look nice, but the layouts are the same and they’re all locations we’ve seen before in Racing games. I also find it odd that there’s a complete lack of classic themed tracks. While some main Sonic games have leaned on nostalgia too much, a kart racer is one time where it should lean on nostalgia.
Team Sonic Racing is a very solid kart racer. It has some extremely interesting mechanics which are implemented really well, and the new tracks in it are incredibly good fun. It’s main issue is that the main mechanic only works if you have the right amount of people to play with, and even then the story mode can’t be played as a team.

Far Cry 5: Customize Your Agent and Enjoy Classic Shooter Fun
Far Cry 5 is totally one of the biggest drops this year. This latest chapter in the Ubisoft series is coming back fresh with new vibes and a story that’s just as lit as its side characters. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in this wild religious cult drama, you might want to buy Xbox games like Far Cry 5 to get the full experience. Hope County, Montana, has been taken over by a sketchy group of fanatics who are all about maintaining their twisted order. Our job is to bring back peace and order, no matter what. Let’s get into the lowdown on Far Cry 5 for Xbox One. When a saga like Far Cry makes a comeback, you know it's gonna be a big deal. The first-person shooter is back with way more precision and power than before. In Far Cry 5, we step into the shoes of an agent teaming up with the feds to tackle a major cult problem that’s got the locals under control by force. The cult leader, Joseph Seed, has a grip on a ton of people, and chaos is off the charts. One of the first upgrades is picking your character’s vibe—whether you wanna roll as a dude or a dudette. There’s a dope agent customizer that lets you tweak everything from skin tone to hair, face, and gear. It’s not super deep, but it’s enough to help you vibe with your character and add some extra flair to the game. The gameplay is classic Far Cry—smooth, fun, and with different difficulty levels to suit all kinds of players. Whether you’re a newbie or a hardcore shooter fan, Far Cry 5 has got you covered.
Engaging and Rewarding Character Progression
It’s worth mentioning that even after grinding through a bunch of these side quests and buying PS5 games, I never felt bored or like I was just a delivery person for someone else. Each quest actually has a solid reason for you to dive in, whether it’s because some situations are totally wild or because they add cool deets to the story and give you some sweet rewards. You’re basically helping the resistance by choosing from four types of missions: rescuing civilians or hostages, blowing up cult stuff, doing tasks for the resistance, or taking over cult outposts to boost your team’s control. Plus, there are these “puzzle” missions where you find hidden stashes full of awesome loot. The character progression system is on point, making us stronger and more skilled without too much hassle. You can level up and unlock new abilities by completing challenges and missions, so it feels pretty rewarding and keeps you hooked.
Unique Characters and Diverse Enemies
Far Cry 5 is this huge, dynamic world full of life and chaos where you can dive into just about any activity you can think of. You can hunt, fish, forage for plants, drive a bunch of different vehicles, and stash them all in your garage. It's basically your chance to live that American dream life. Doing all this earns you cash to buy weapons, vehicles, and clothes. There’s a ton of gear and rides to deck out your arsenal and garage. One of the coolest upgrades from previous games is the option to roll with a buddy who can help make things easier and have your back in fights. You can recruit different resistance members you come across, and there are also special characters scattered around the map with unique skills. For instance, Boomer, a loyal doggo, can assist in combat and sniff out items or extra cash. Finding and recruiting these special characters is key to leveling up your squad and enhancing your gameplay experience as you progress through the game. The side characters are incredibly well-crafted, each with their own distinct personality, so no two are the same. Chit-chatting with them is a blast and they’ll have you laughing more than once. The enemies are also diverse, with different types popping up in each region, keeping the challenges fresh and exciting.
Far Cry 5: A Must-Have for Action Game Fans
Far Cry 5 on Xbox One totally nails the tech side of things. The graphics are seriously impressive—no frame drops to mess up the fast-paced action or the precision you need. Everything looks smooth and stunning, even with the game’s dark story. The world feels alive with animals, fish, boats, planes, and everything fits together in this immersive, interactive way. The enemy AI does mess up occasionally, but they usually spot you pretty easily, depending on the difficulty level you pick. The AI for the NPCs and allies is solid, though there are a few minor glitches with some special allies that don’t really ruin the experience. I didn’t run into any major bugs during my playthrough. The sound design and music are also spot on, adding to the overall immersion. So, to wrap it up, Far Cry 5 is definitely a must-have for fans of action games or shooters. It offers tons of gameplay and exploration, with a gripping main story and engaging side missions. Its technical performance is top-notch, and only a few minor issues might pop up. Overall, Far Cry 5 stands as the best in the series so far.

Top Video Players Compatible with Chromecast for Android TV
Since technology has been advancing, multiple-tasking has become a trend. A device or software is smart only if it can multi-task and perform every function efficiently. We look for applications that can multi-task and are simple. Like a social media app, you don’t only chat with your friends and family but can also share your memories in video, audio or picture format. A lot happens in one single application. In search of the best video player, we tend to look for the one that gives us a rich video-watching experience and can multi-task or help us in multitasking.
We want more from our phone's video storage than just a simple player to access and play videos. Occasionally, we would like to stream content online, search for our preferred TV show or film, or attach it wirelessly or via a cable to an external device. There are many features for a single app, but we've compiled a list of the best Android video players according to how well they work with Chromecast for Android TV.
Understanding Chromecast for Android TV
Google is the creator of the Chromecast line of digital media players. These devices use the Google Cast Technology. With this technology, you can cast or mirror your phone’s screen to a larger screen. This technology is not limited to Chromecast devices, there are also some smart TVs and speakers that have built-in Chromecast. It is compatible with Android, macOS, iOS and Windows.
Now, we know what Chromecast is. For further discussion, multiple devices support Chromecast but are there many Chromecast video players ? Yes, we have multiple Android video players with Chromecast features. The feature that makes it the best Android video player is Chromecast support. But for the video player to enable Chromecast, your device should also have the Chromecast feature. Let us check out the list of Chromecast video players.
Video Players with Chromecast Feature
We have waited a long time to get here. Let us explore the list of best Chromecast video players for Android devices.
1. LocalCast
LocalCast’s functions include using your device to stream media to an Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick, Xbox 360/One, or Chromecast. In addition to these functions, it should operate on the majority of DLNA-compliant devices and support streaming from cloud storage (such as Dropbox and Google Drive). It is limited to the codecs supported by Chromecast. It's still one of the best Chromecast video players for Android as well as iOS devices.
LocalCast for Chromecast gives users more control over features like zooming, rotating, and adding subtitles to their videos than the standard Chromecast app does. A variety of video formats are also supported, including MP4, M4A, and MKV.
2. KM Player
KM Player is also a well-recognized Chromecast video player. Additionally, it offers a user-friendly interface with a simple design and no adverts, making it easier for you to organize and play videos. It supports multiple codecs and casting. This covers direct streaming from cloud storage programs like Dropbox and Google Drive. With Chromecast, you can stream movies and music to your TV, and you can even play videos straight from iTunes.
Additionally, KMPlex offers gamification features that let users earn in-app currency by completing tasks that call for watching videos. Additional features of a KMPlayer VIP upgrade include GIF generation, video and audio editing, and VIP themes for changing the appearance of the app. What else would one need from the best video player for Android?
3. ASD Rocks Video Player
Rocks Video Player is your hub for non-stop entertainment. It is a multi-media player with a wide range of capabilities. You will love the HD video experience it offers, supporting both offline and online content. HD Video Player supports all file types, including MP3, MP4, MOV, 3GP, MKW, TS, FLV, and others. Any video format can be watched without any problems.
You can cast any video or movie from your phone to a TV or tablet, enjoying double the fun and better quality. This media player has additional features that enhance and add value to your media experience. This app has a ton of features that you should check out, like equalizer, casting videos, closed captions, support for multiple languages, and much more. These are the reasons that this video player is the best Android video player.
4. AllCast
The interface of AllCast is easy to use and intuitive. You can quickly access your music library, images and videos, Dropbox or Google Drive galleries, and even more (your accounts must be synchronized). It's simple to send sound, images, or videos to the screen on your Android device by simply selecting them on the screen. Furthermore, the display quality is excellent.

Alone in the Dark: From Creepy to Intense
The Alone in the Dark series really shaped how games were back in the '90s. Detective Edward Carnby's adventures, and how they were shown, basically birthed a whole new genre of survival horror that still influences games today, sparking my interest in buying Xbox games. So, it's pretty clear that without Infogrames' work, games like Resident Evil wouldn't be the same, or might not even exist. But when Alone in the Dark tried to make a comeback in the 2000s, it didn't hit the same high notes. Fans worry the new game might flop like those did. However, this time around, they pulled it off. It's not perfect, but it stays true to the original while throwing in nods for longtime players. Since this is a reboot, playing Alone in the Dark is like going back to your childhood crib after years away. Stuff looks familiar, but they've mixed it up enough to mess with your memories. The new game retells the old stories, bringing back familiar faces but shaking up how it all goes down for fun. You've got Emily Hartwood and Edward Carnby again – she hires him to suss out what happened to her uncle Jeremy, who disappeared from Derceto, a place for curing people with health quirks. It doesn't change how you play, but it switches up the cut-scenes, NPC chats, and even a chunk of one chapter for each hero.
Building Exploration and Puzzle Challenges
When it comes to gameplay, it's kinda like the latest Resident Evil games, which always tempts me to buy PS5 games. They ditched the old-school fixed camera (although there's a cool part where it shows up, hinting the whole game could've been like that), opting for the more modern third-person perspective. Edward or Emily explore the Derceto mansion, hunting for clues to crack Jeremy's disappearance and items to unlock new areas. But don't expect free-roaming or brain-teasing puzzles to get into hidden spots. It's pretty linear, guiding us through a four-story building where unnecessary rooms stay locked unless needed for the story. Finding key items to move the plot forward is straightforward. The puzzles are decent but not mind-blowing – mostly safes, mosaic arrangements, and tuning a talisman to hop between dimensions. The tile puzzles are a highlight, where you not only swap pieces but also rotate them to fit the pattern. However, cracking the safes and tuning that talisman really stumped me.
Retro Aesthetic and Developer Insights
The outdated gameplay in 2024 is a real pain. One big gripe is those invisible walls, especially annoying in places like Derceto where Jeremy's search happens. You can't just wander off a bridge into a lake or dive into the thick fog – though it's tempting to see if the devs cooked up some other punishment for careless players. The same goes for items – after each chapter, stuff you won't use anymore gets stashed away in the inventory, which kinda kills the vibe of reviewing clues and doing detective brainstorming. But the game's old-school vibe pops with cool hero skins and visual filters. There's even developer commentary you can toggle on, popping up as you explore through audio logs you find.
Issues and Atmosphere
There are a bunch of issues – some are annoying because they don't tell you clearly what to do, others break the immersion, and some just feel outdated. They won't stop you from finishing the game, but they definitely change how enjoyable it is. If they just fixed the graphics problems, this game would easily get half a point higher in ratings. The new Alone in the Dark is perfect for suspense fans who are sick of cheap jump-scares. If you're into a gripping atmosphere rather than just getting startled, this reboot is right up your alley.

Does anyone know how to set the series x/s so that, when a headset is connected, ONLY chat audio came thru the headset and ONLY game audio comes thru the TV? I can't get my head around WHY Brian does his headset that way but it's the only way he'll use it.
If it helps, we're using the Xbox version of the Astro a20. (I can't think of a difference that would make, since it seems like a system problem not an accessory one)

Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator says 'we're not a game […] what we're doing is accurate aviation activities'
Last week, while FlightSimExpo was about to land in Texas, developer Asobo presented a presentation on Microsoft Flight Simulator 24. The game was a surprise reveal during the Xbox Games Showcase, and it even caused some confusion among the audience because they weren't sure if it was a brand-new game or just an expensive expansion with a new name. Jorg Neumann is the head of Microsoft Flight Simulator and, after saying the Xbox announcement video had been "paper thin", came out all guns blazing (thanks, RPS). "Just to give you perspective, there's many tens of millions of people watching ," said Neumann. "It is good for our hobby to show up in these places". Neumann then went on to address some of that initial reaction from the core Flight Simulator audience. "Some of you correctly asked 'What the heck is this, is this just an acceleration pack or some such thing? Nope nope nope. This is the biggest undertaking ever in flight simulation. No doubt about it." The team's focus is, perhaps unsurprisingly, aviation activities, with Neumann saying that Asobo reckons from its data that around three million of the current Microsoft Flight Simulator's players are "core gamers", while the other nine million are "more casual people". The one common element the studio found between the two types of player was that "people wanted more stuff to do" in the simulation. "We said, 'okay, cool, fair enough, let's go make things like that,'" said Neumann. "But we are not a game. So we're not making game-y type missions at all. What we're doing is accurate aviation activities. We're working with lots of organisations across the planet that do these things. That do firefighting, that do search and rescue This is why we call it 'choose your pilot lifestyle'. This is the pilot lifestyle, this is what people really do." Neumann swiftly addressed an apparent concern about a lack of airliners in the trailer ("There are gonna be a lot of airliners, trust me you're gonna be happily surprised when we get to the whole plane list") before handing over to Asobo CEO Sebastian Wloch for some tech talk. "One of the biggest priorities for us was to make the client thinner," said Wloch. "When I read about people using the sim the first thing they say is 'it took a day to download, there are so many updates, it's filling my hard drive'" Wloch says the problem with delivering more content is making sure the game can "continue to grow and fit on people's computers". The previous game already used cloud storage but, appropriately enough, MSFS2024 is going to be even cloudier: "People who launch the sim will only download what they need," said Wloch, "not all sorts of textures that will never be displayed." The game (sorry, Neumann) has a new physics and aerodynamics engine that includes new modelling for soft bodies like tissue and rope (Wloch gave the examples of a helicopter lifting cargo via rope, or a yaw string on the exterior being buffeted by wind). There was a lot of chat about the modelling before some before and after comparison shots of aircraft which showed just how much more physical detail is being calculated within the simulation. One other big announcement among all the new stuff is that all changes are backwards compatible. So existing community content should transfer seamlessly into the new game, regardless of whether its creator updates it. Easily the best bit of the presentation came when Wloch got into it and started delivering exactly what the sim crowd wanted to hear: improvement after improvement, more detail here, there, everywhere. You can simultaneously see the live chat going gaga while an absolutely beaming Neumann stands behind Wloch drinking it all in. Then comes a demo of a hot air balloon, inflating and soaring before deflating and crumpling with the various surfaces involved colliding realistically, at which point, perfectly, the Frenchman Wloch says "so, voila". The room bursts into applause. Neumann looks like he's going to burst with happiness and pride. Say what you will about Asobo but, boy, do they love a flight simulator. Read the full article

According to the official Avengers 1.75 patch notes, the latest update adjusted Exotic gear and the Ultimo-Stone minor artifact. Apart from this, today's Marvel Avengers version 1.75 also includes various tuning, gameplay changes, and fixes Previously, a big update 1.73 added a long list of quality-of-life changes. Unfortunately, players are still facing problems with the game. Today’s Marvel Avengers version 1.75 will fix a few of these issues. Read more details below. Marvel's Avengers 1.75 Patch Notes - January 24, 2023 REASSEMBLE CAMPAIGN & AVENGERS INITIATIVE We’ve adjusted Exotic gear and the Ultimo-Stone minor artifact stat growth at Power Levels 167, 171, and 175, which we found were undertuned. An example of this new stat growth is that exotic 2 stat gear can reach 132 per attribute. Pym, Cryo, Gamma, and Web status can now fully stack on either of Monica’s Exos in the final encounter of ‘No Rest for the Wicked.’ We added several collision boxes during the final boss encounter in ‘No Rest for the Wicked’ to prevent clipping through the room. That’s not canon! Bucky will no longer appear in the Helicarrier as an NPC when you play as the Winter Soldier. We fixed an issue causing vendors not to carry certain gear if the player was PL 180 or above. COMBAT Players can now switch between the Winter Soldier’s ranged settings without the Hero becoming stuck. We added the correct sounds to Winter Soldier’s in-air Ultimate Heroic. The Winter Soldier’s sound effects when using the ‘Stone Cold Kick’ and ‘Explosive Entrance’ skills are now correct! The Winter Soldier’s ‘Soldier Tech’ Heroic Support Skill no longer provides an invisibility buff that exceeds the stipulated time Spider-Man can no longer perform Wreckage Takedowns on Monica’s Exos in ‘No Rest for the Wicked.’ USER INTERFACE The file icon that is displayed in the audio file reward banner is no longer off-center. The Winter Soldier’s ‘Winter Kills’ mission chain now properly displays all rewards. ART AND ANIMATION Fixed a distortion on the chest crest of Hawkeye’s ‘Modern’ Outfit. The Starbrand on Hulk’s chest when wearing the ‘1,000,000 B.C.’ Outfit now illuminates properly. We fixed the face skin weighting on multiple Heroes to prevent facial rig deforming. Fixed an issue where equipping the High-Caliber loadout on Black Widow only granted one pistol for both hands during Takedowns. “No Such Thing As Too Much” and “A New Kind of Trust Fall” will now switch Black Widow to her pistols if she’s utilizing High-Caliber, only for the duration Takedown, and revert back to High-Caliber once finished. We adjusted Thor’s Unhelmed Outfit inspired by ‘Marvel Studios’ Thor’ to prevent clipping when performing certain emotes. The Winter Soldier’s ‘Galvanized Stealth’ skill will no longer cause other players to turn invisible when his ‘United in the Shadows’ skill isn’t active. Mjolnir and Undrjarn now illuminate as intended when the Mighty Thor uses the ‘Mjolnir Chat’ emote in Outposts. GEAR, CHALLENGES, & REWARDS Hulks ‘Lethal Support Cryo Administrator’ perk now grants the correct nanites to allies. Iron Man’s ‘Support Cryo Boost’ perk no longer grants nanites when activating Hulkbaster, as intended. This perk should only activate Arc Overload and not with entering Hulkbuster. The ‘Lethal Ranged Plasma Administrator’ perk on the new Cloning Lab gear no longer overrides the ‘Ultimate Lethal Plasma Administrator’ perk. Happy New Year sunshine! I wish you and your loved ones a holiday full of happiness and rest. Thank you for sharing with us a bit of your culture! I'm really interested in Asian countries' cultures ❤️
Oh yes, I saw it! I'm sure that would be a nice way to celebrate your birthday haha! Same here, I'm really excited for the new season and to see Levi again 👀
I'm always so happy and in awe to hear you're glad to have me on your blog and that you consider me a dear friend of yours. My heart feels so warm right now and that's all thanks to you. I know I'm repetitive haha, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. You're playing a big role in my road back to recovery and for that I'm eternally grateful. Remember the same goes for you! Whatever problem you're facing, I'm here to help you and give you the love you deserve so much 💖
Omg you make progress really fast haha. So glad to hear you keep enjoying the game and that you're almost done with the first part of the experience. Haha yes, those hybrid flowers seem easy to breed, but actually it's quite hard at the beginning. I still remember my failed attempts haha. Congratulations for your first hybrid flower dear! I'm sure it'll be followed by many others. Oh I've never heard that game before and I wasn't aware it existed a mobile version of animal crossing. If you didn't like it you did a good thing deleting it. I have some games on my phone I don't really play anymore, but I don't want to delete theme because I feel like maybe I could have a change of heart. However, that never happens and then I end up with my phone's memory clogged! I wish you good luck with your progress! But with the rapidity with which you proceed, you probably don't need it 💕
Oh god! I've always wanted to play God of War Ragnarok!! Unfortunately I have a Xbox and the game isn't avaible there, only on ps4/5. I hope your bf likes it and that he's having a good time. When I was younger I used to play Cooking Mama with my brother and we loved it so much! It may seem childish but it's actually a good game. Glad to hear you were able to convince him to buy it and that everything worked out in the end. Once or twice I played GTA with my cousin, I never learned how to drive properly there and I always broke the car by crashing into something. Omg same! I have those Pokémon toys that used to come with McDonald's Happy Meal too. Unfortunately, I don't know anymore where I put them haha 💙
I'm glad to hear you came to a decision regarding Levi's birthday this year. Keeping mind of your creativity, I'm sure it'll be a great event! I'm excited for it and I can't wait to se what you have in mind 💗
Talking about shyness, I feel like I'm ready to reveal myself to you! But I remember you saying once that you enjoy not knowing who I am. So I want to let you decide! I'm happy with being one of your emoji anons so please don't feel pressured! 😊
Yes, you're right. We've come a long way together and likewise, I'm thankful to have you as one of my dearest friends! 🥰🥹
No need to thank me! I read your shipping fics in the past and I was in awe! Like you said, you and Levi are perfect for each other. I feel like with you Levi would be so happy and content with life. I'm so glad to hear you've overcome your insecurities and that you're enjoying this experience!
Thank you so much for the message! You saying that I make you happy makes my heart melt! I'm the one who should thank you for your support, for chatting with me and for letting me become one of your emoji anons! Never apologize for taking your time to reply! I understand you perfectly. Enjoy your holiday sunshine, I love you 💞 ~[🧸]
Hi there my dearest 🧸 anon!!! Good day to you! Thank you so much for the well wishes! It's been raining the entire day and even though I'm not complaining... it's too cold XD I'm glad that I can show you bits and parts of East Asian and Southeast Asian culture over here!!! I'm so happy to hear that you're interested in learning about my culture too. There's probably only a few people here who understands my culture, and I'm really touched to hear these from you hehe. Other than spreading my love for Levi, my blog will also be here to spread the love for East and Southeast Asian culture too!!
Hahha for SNK to air on my birthday is either the best or worse way to celebrate tbh... But yes!! I can't wait to see Levi again 🥺💖 I'm sure everyone misses him terribly and we can't wait for him to appear on the big screen again <3
Hehe. I think I'm also very repetitive, because I'm always talking about how grateful I am to have such a supportive friend like you too! There may be lots of bad things happening on the internet all the time, but I'm glad to have found you! ^^ let's continue to support each other for a long long time ☺️
Hehe, yesterday (21/01) my new Residence Services opened and now I have Isabelle on my island!!! Yay!!!! And Tom Nook just started talking to me about building that campsite to invite K.K. Slider over 😂 and urgh I have to farm for iron nuggets again................ :/ I'm making friends with my island's residents and I'm having so much fun!! I love it when I gift them something and they give me clothes in return haha, it's so cool!!
Talking about hybrid flowers, I got a second pink windflower again! And I got an orange pansy too, and a second one is blooming ^^ I'm trying to manifest for my other flowers to have hybrids too... other than windflowers and pansies, I have hyacinths, cosmos, and mums!! My tulip seeds are still in my storage because I have too many flowers outside my house XD
Pocket camp is actually quite fun!! It's similar to acnh, but you're at a campsite instead of an island. I kinda liked it, but it was hard earning money and I wanted to get those spring-limited kimonos and sakura decorations etc, but then I didn't want to spend money on those lol... so I gave up pocket camp XD but I'm the same!! Sometimes I keep games on my phone because of nostalgia, and I think I'll go back to playing them one day. In the end, I don't and it's just there wasting space.... hahaha.
Well my bf finished God of War Ragnarok already!!! He was complaining about how ridiculously hard it was to get the platinum trophy for the game on the PS achievements, so he stopped playing and he's going to uninstall it haha. I don't follow the God of War series, so it was interesting to watch him playthrough Ragnarok too! Aww cooking mama is really fun!! I used to play it on my cousin's PSP and that's how I got to know cooking mama lol. He loves playing cooking mama now XD
Don't worry, I'm terrible at GTA too. I tried playing it and I failed my first mission miserably???? I keep banging my car and killing people too, so I gave up on the game HAHA. I think my pokemon toys are still somewhere in my room though... I hope I can find them some day hehe.
Since Levi's birthday falls on Christmas, my idea for Happy Birthday Levi this year somehow coincides with the theme of gifting hehe. I'll leave it as it is so that I don't drop anymore spoilers~
Awwww!! 🥺💖 haha, tbh I'm okay with either too! I would love to know who you are, but at the same time, I love the anonymity about you too! I love seeing you as my emoji anon! It feels like I am talking to a secret admirer XD don't feel pressurised to let me know your identity as well, I actually really do enjoy this 'mysterious' factor about not knowing who you are hehe.
Haha I'm glad I overcame that insecurity too! Ultimately, I started writing Levi fics because it makes me happy to show my love for my favourite character is this way, and I started selfshipping because it makes me happy too. I realised I shouldn't be embarrassed for being such a huge selfshipper, and as long as it makes me happy, why not! Even though not many people read my Reivi stuff, I know that there will always be people out there who do read them and that's good enough for me 🥰
Thank you so much for this very thoughtful message too my dearest 🧸!! I appreciate you a lot and I am always keeping you in my thoughts 💚 also, not sure if you saw, but I made a discord server for my followers here!! There's not many of us yet, and I'm still trying to make it a nice cosy place just like my blog too hehe. If you have discord, feel free to join my server!! But same thing: please don't feel pressurised to do so as well ☺️ take care of yourself, and I'm looking forward to hear from you again!!! (*^^*)

Far Cry 5: Meet the Creepy Cult Leaders and Their Troubling Territories
A top-tier villain is someone who’s totally convinced of their own hype; cringe-worthy, over-the-top bad guys with zero depth are so last season. If your antagonist can break down their master plan, explain why it’s legit, and maybe even suggest where to buy Xbox games to fully appreciate their evil genius, they’re way scarier. So when you roll into Hope County to arrest the Project at Eden’s Gate leader and he’s all, ‘God won’t let you take me,’ and he’s dead serious, you know he’s a problem. Joseph Seed, or The Father as his squad calls him, is convinced the apocalypse is coming and he’s on a mission to save as many peeps as he can before it hits. When Seed is staring you down, explaining why he’s right, it’s hard not to get pulled into his vibe. He’s magnetic, smooth-talking, and super smart; it’s easy to see why people might get hooked on Joseph and his messed-up crew, even if they’re a bunch of crazy, gun-happy cultists. John, the smooth talker, promises redemption for anyone looking to join Eden’s Gate in Holland Valley, Faith uses the drug Bliss to mess with people’s heads along the Henbane River, and Jacob up in the Whitetail Mountains puts his twisted soldiers through brutal trials. Greg Bryk nails it as the creepy Joseph Seed, but his three sidekicks are just as intriguing, each with their own wild backstory. It’s a wild ride hopping between their territories and uncovering each sibling’s dark side—it’s both horrific and oddly captivating. The actors are so good that I was both impressed and squirming in my seat. When they weren’t around, I was blowing stuff up.
Encouraging Exploration and Local Encounters
In the past, towers were all about climbing and clearing parts of the map, but thankfully, those are gone. Ubisoft switched things up by putting that puzzle vibe into the new Prepper Stashes scattered across the map, which is a great reason to buy PS5 games and experience these updates firsthand. Loads of Hope County folks have been prepping for the end times, stashing ammo, cash, and upgrade points all over Montana, and it’s super useful for you. But getting to these stashes isn’t always a walk in the park; it often requires a bit of brainpower. You’ll get a starting hint to help you find the stash, but after that, it’s on you to figure out the environmental puzzles using your legs, grappling hook, and smarts. These stashes are a game changer—a nice break from the action that challenges you in different ways. Plus, if you don’t talk to NPCs in Hope County, you might totally miss some of them. Sure, Far Cry 5 often points you in the right direction, but it also rewards you for exploring and chatting with the locals wandering through the scenery. You might run into a woman and her dog out for a walk who’ll give you the lowdown on a cult hideout, an undiscovered outpost, or even a person of interest. Sometimes these folks are just regular people with good info, but more often than not, they’re a bit quirky.
Diverse Allies and Flexible Perk System
Injecting some fun into Far Cry with optional quests isn't exactly groundbreaking for the series, but there’s a ton of it here that gives you a nice break from the intense main story. There’s this one side quest where you help out a guy who’s super into aliens, and at first, I wasn’t sure if the reward was worth it. For a moment, it seemed like it might be over the top, but then I went with it because it just made things more entertaining. I had a blast silencing a movie set for a film director, enjoyed helping a Jesse Pinkman-type chef perfect his recipe, and got a kick out of collecting bull testicles while Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” played in the background. A few side quests missed the mark, but overall, they offered some fun downtime against the scenic backdrop of Hope County. Cruising in a vehicle tuned to one of Joseph Seed’s sponsored radio stations, listening to the Eden’s Gate choir’s eerie yet beautiful hymns, and driving through the backroads really shows off how stunning Hope County can be amid the chaos. But, like any open-world game, the illusion can get broken when you see your buddy glitching into the ground or climbing a ladder that they’ve already reached the top of. It doesn’t happen often, but it’s a reminder that you’re playing Far Cry 5, not chasing down a modern-day David Koresh. Having a grizzly bear as your personal sidekick also adds to the mix. Ending this holy war all by yourself is a tall order, but luckily you’ve got guns (and fangs) for hire ready to back you up. You’ll meet resistance fighters on your journey who are ready to help, but the nine Specialists in Far Cry 5 are who you really want in your squad to take down Eden’s Gate. They basically act as your co-op partners, following your commands, attacking enemies you dislike, and reviving you when you’re down. Depending on your playstyle, you can pick allies who are more tactical, like the stealthy cougar Peaches, or go for the more in-your-face RPG-wielding Hurk Durbman Jr. Trying out different combos is a good idea since not every situation suits your go-to buddy. This flexibility also extends to the perk system.
Embracing the Chaos of Outpost Takeovers
Since Vaas in Far Cry 3, the series hasn’t had a villain quite as chilling when calm and captivatingly unhinged as Joseph Seed. Him and his Eden’s Gate crew are a real nightmare for the folks in Hope County who are just trying to improve their lives. But when you need a break from dealing with them, you can be skydiving off a mountain, tackling one of the awesome Prepper Stash puzzles, or cruising down the river in a speedboat. I never plan for an outpost takeover to get wild, but when a random grizzly bear crashes in and messes up my stealthy approach, I can’t help but enjoy every chaotic second that follows.

I wanted to address my oldest friend's bombarding me with messages. Everytime he sees I'm on (the little green dot on Facebook) he blows up my messenger with 5-10 pictures of action figures and texts in the morning.
And throughout the day new figures he buys during his lunch hour. Or after work.
And when he's bored at work I feel like he uses me to fill boredom.
I feel overwhelmed. I feel like it's one sided. There's no communication going on, it's just spewing on me. Instant messages, but I'm bit able to process this bullshit all the time 24/7 instantly.
I brought it up. Told him to not overwhelm me with this stuff. Messaging me 5-10 times about playing Xbox every 10 minutes.
He hasn't messaged me at all. He's gone full ghost. He checks messages, but won't respond. I didn't text him as much I've sent him only 3. My first message, my more clear headed requests and boundaries I want.
And one to ask if he'd like to talk on Xbox chat.
Np response. Fine your bitter because I asked for you not to bombard me with messages? This is why I've never brought up a problem in 20+ years I've known him.
He always gets into conflicts with friends or some romantic relationship and then says "just tell me I'm a big boy, I can take it."
Well, this is proof to me he can't take it. I didn't do what these others have done.
They've ghosted him with no responses for weeks. I've never done that. To anyone. Ever.
He's intimating he want to throw away 30 years of friendship because I want him to ease off on these bombarding with messages?

If you see the error message "LC-202," that means there's a problem on Blizzard's side and you are going to have to wait for them to hotfix it. Matchmaking and "other social" services are screwed up, but Blizzard is looking into it. If all of this fails, email Blizzard your voice logs at also an issue affecting Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users who can't find a game or log in.

In the meantime, the company has released a series of steps you can try to repair the problem yourself. Blizzard is aware of the issue and currently working on a fix. According to Reddit users, there's a glitch in voice chat in Competitive Play on PC. For example, one user may be playing Dead Rising 3 and will be greeted with an invite into Battlefield 4 Team Deathmatch where the rest of the party members are playing.Overwatch voice chat is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Users trying to play different games may be greeted by constant invites into one or more games. The new Xbox One Party system is geared towards SmartMatch and group gaming. Users favoring traditional 360-type party chat might want to use Skype. There should be an option to "quit." When the app is closed, party chat should turn on without issue. To close Battlefield 4 (or any app), go to the home screen (Xbox One Button), highlight the app (usually in the main window), and press the menu button (former start button).
Xbox one chat problems Patch#
Until a patch is sent, the current work around is to turn on party chat before running Battlefield 4, or, if Battlefield 4 is currently running, to close it down. There is a known issue with Battlefield 4 where users are unable to turn party chat on while Battlefield 4 is running. Within the party window, you should see various options including "Turn Party Chat On." Basically, the new party system will allow you to party up with your friends for joining games, but by default, the game chat is turned on and party chat is turned off. You can either go to the party app from the home screen, say "Xbox Go To Party", or snap the party (say "Xbox Snap Party"). If this not an option, you have to consider which device to keep, since you can't use them both, at the same time.įor other NAT-related connection issues, check: PARTY CHAT IS TURNED OFF You can contact your ISP for help with this and make your router operate as a standard modem. Im convinced there is a setting somewhere im missing. The way to fix this is to switch the router to Bridge mode. The NAT is open, mic is open, chat is on, I have went through all these settings trying to trouble shoot it with the help of some youtube help videos. You need to only have one router/NAT that connects directly to your console and the gateway. If you've got a router connected to a gateway that's also a combined modem/router (eg: Netgear CGD24G), you may run into connection issues since both devices run NAT. Depending on your version/network, now either access Advanced and Select iPv6, then flag "Allow Teredo Tunnels" - or click the Network tab, then Network Options and check "Allow Teredo tunnels." This should solve your connection issue. If this step did not fix your issue, in the Airport Admin/Utility, click on your base station/router and then edit. Install it if a newer version is available.Ģ. Access your Airport software, command-click on the device and check for the latest Firmware. To make your Xbox One work with your AirPort, Time Capsule, or AirPort Extreme, take these steps:ġ. Many users are encountering this issue specifically with Apple Airport wireless routers. If your wireless is connected and your NAT Type displays Strict, this is the cause of your connection trouble. On the Network settings screen, under Current Network Status, check what NAT type you've got. Unlike Xbox 360, Xbox One requires your NAT (Network Address Translation) Type to be set to Open. However, everything works fine on Xbox 360. To get chat audio through your headset on Xbox One, you need to first make sure that your headset is plugged into the controller and that the controller is.
