Meeting Chan was almost fate, honestly

You’re a graphic designer and happen to love designing album covers

Stray Kids were finishing up an album and needed a graphic designer to help create the album covers

Lo and behold~

Bonding during meeting after meeting while the creative process goes about working its magic

The bonding sessions turn into dropping by each other’s workspace

By which I mean you  visiting Chan’s studio pretty much every time you have a lunch break and bringing a snack with you

Which he greatly appreciates <3

The speed at which you two become best friends is impeccable

Very much a duo – especially the kind that are always seen hanging out together

The feelings start not too long after too

There is one problem though... you’re both oblivious

Somehow you both can’t see that the other is head over heels, and it doesn’t take long for the rest of skz to start taking matters into their own hands

They love you, really, but the running around in circles is going to drive them a little mad

They keep trying to bash hints over your heads

Which is ironic because the confession happens so quickly

Catches everyone off guard fr

The two of you are hanging out late and it gets blurted out

Cue quick discussion over what you want in a relationship and boom—

Y’all are a couple now! Everyone liked that

Chan being your boyfriend comes with seven other people because none of these men know what the meaning of the phrase personal space is

Baby I don’t make the rules here, this is just the truth

You take it in stride though, which Chan appreciates

Oh yeah, and this man is a hugger

A certified cuddler I’m telling you

I’m convinced he needs his arms around you for thirty minutes a day, every day, at least

Will have you sit in his lap while he works so he can get his daily y/n cuddles

Try to move and watch him whine I swear—

Do you not want his affection anymore??/j

Lmao but despite how busy the both of you are, date nights are wonderful

He plans dinner reservations on days you’re both free and refuses to listen to anyone asking him to work

Date nights are for the two of you and the two of you only <33

Walks hand-in-hand with you after dinner and you stop by a few stalls

If you happen to pass by an arcade, he’s gonna win you a plushie from the claw machine

Sure he spends a little too much on it, but it’s all good fun

Especially worth it to see your face when he does win a plushie

And sure, your friends are more than happy that you’re dating Chan

But they are a little jealous

Because who doesn’t want a relationship like yours

Pedri x El Hormiguero summary:

When Espanyol fans invaded the pitch, he just heard someone say run so he ran (in his own words 'faster than he did during the entire game')

They didn't want to disrespect Espanyol and their fans but simply celebrated winning La Liga

He wouldn't get tattoos because he wouldn't like them on himself

The first thing he bought from his salary was a car for his dad

He is very thankful for his brother (when they were younger Fer used to hit him but now he only annoys him with words)

His parents and his brother help him stay grounded

The post match party was very good but he can't give any updates but there were a lot of drinks involved

There was karaoke session during the party but he doesn't sing much

No player gave a striptease during the after-party (???)

He is very proud of his collaboration with Springfield even if he doesn't know much about design

He would love for Leo Messi to return

When he was a kid he wanted to have his hair cut like Iniesta until his dad told him that Iniesta is bald

His favourite goal he scored was the one against Sevilla

They don't talk about the Negreira case in the dressing room

He wants Man City to win (he added he really likes Pep's style of coaching and that he's going to watch the match)

When Xavi gets angry he starts off very slow and quiet but little by little he gets louder and angrier (Pedri then normally just stays quiet and keeps his head down)

They are all very close with Xavi and he helps them a lot

He was very shy when he first joined and met Messi, Busquets, and the other senior players. He was scared and didn't go into the dressing room much to avoid seeing them, because he felt embarrassed. He preferred to stay in the gym waiting for them not to be there until one day Messi came up to him and encouraged him

He tried to take the ball away from Leo many times in training but it's impossible

He's very forgetful (sometimes he wakes up in the morning for training, gets ready and then realises that training is in the evening and goes back to sleep)

Sometimes players are afraid to play after returning from injury but he isn't

Chapter soundtrack: Begin Again - Taylor Swift 

“So Charles, can you talk us through your special design?” the Italian journalist asked him.

“Well, I’ve wanted to pay a little tribute to the person who supported me throughout this season. There are, of course, all the mechanics and engineers that worked on the car, both in Maranello and who traveled with us. But I also wanted to add my friends and family this year. They all contributed to make this season more bearable for me.”

“Bearable? Was it this hard for you?”

“No. I mean, it has been tough, for sure. 2022 was not perfect but at least I was fighting for podiums and victories. This year, I quickly understood that I wouldn’t be able to do that. The car was not it, that’s it. It happens and as a driver your job is to make the most out of what you have and to push the hardest you can, in hopes to extract as much performance as you can. So, yeah, mentally it has been tough to accept at first and this is why I wanted to thank them in a more special way. So here, you have my best friends who travel with me, my mom and brothers, my girlfriend who copes with me even when I’m not the easiest to be around. She has a podcast, by the way, and I can tell you it is a great one, you should check it out. And last, but not least, I wanted to add her late brother’s name, who was a big fan of F1. This helmet will be auctioned and the profit will be given to the research against leukemia.” 

“That’s very thoughtful of you, Charles. Thank you for stopping by and good luck for the weekend.” 

You turned off the tv, shocked by what you’ve just heard Charles saying. Special helmet? Tribute? Luc? His girlfriend? You didn’t understand. He had broken up with you, basically banishing you from his life. What was he playing at? Mentioning your podcast, praising you, as if nothing happened? 

“Well, I think someone listened to your podcast and had a change of heart…” your best friend smiled. 

“But that’s the thing… he can’t do this to me… It makes me wanna take a flight to Abu Dhabi.”

“Why don’t you?”

“And what if I do? We need to talk. We need to come clean. We need to…”

“Breathe. Yes, you’re right. You need to sort out your feelings, both of you. You need to do all of that so you can build a strong relationship. But you have what matters the most: love. And goddamn, this man loves you. And you love him too. So pack your bags, girl, I’m sending you off to Abu Dhabi.” 

Securing P2 behind Max, Charles was confident. The Ferrari was easier to drive than expected on a track that wasn’t made for it. It was a surprising weekend and for the first time in a while, Charles had hope. A dangerous thing to have when you were a Ferrari driver. But it didn’t matter today. He was fully determined to finish the season on a high.

The Red Bull in front of him, Max as his main target, he put his visor down, letting himself feel his Ferrari, its power. It was now or never. The last dance. His last opportunity to conquer a win he so desperately needed. Oscar and his McLaren were right behind and he knew it would be a tough battle. The McLaren was quick and his driver talented but he had something Oscar was lacking and it was experience. Charles took a deep breath and waited until the lights went out. And when they finally did, Charles gave his best start possible, quickly coming behind Max, Oscar not far, fighting against George’s Mercedes. 

But no matter how much Charles was trying to be threatening, Max was unreachable. Therefore, it was probably a better choice to manage his tires, waiting for the right opportunity to arise. Laps after laps and after a good pitstop, Charles was feeling better than ever. He had pace, he had confidence and when Xavi told him he had the fastest lap, it gave him another motivation to push. 

“Verstappen only five seconds away, keep pushing,” Xavi informed him.

A look in his rearview mirrors indicated to him that no one was there and if he was looking straight ahead he could see the Red Bull getting closer and closer until he was finally in his reach. It was game on. He knew Max by heart, he had fought against him countless of times, if someone could take max down, it was him. Charles let himself be seen in Max’s mirrors, before launching his first attempt at overtaking him, to no avail. Charles knew it was pointless to try anything now but he just wanted to put pressure on his best enemy. And when Max least expected it, two laps before the final one, Charles attacked for real and managed after a tough defense from Max to finally take the lead. But it didn’t last for long as Max got him back at the first opportunity he found. But Charles wouldn’t go down without a fight and immediately pushed again. Wheel against wheel, egos crushing against one another, the air was thick in both garages, waiting to see who would come on top. Until finally, Max locked his wheels, sending him off the trail. A good save avoided him to encounter the wall but not without his front wing being slightly broken in the process. 

“Amazing job, Charles! Now push!”

He god did he push. He pushed like never. Like his life was on the line and when he crossed the checkered flag, he let out a scream of relief. His ears were filled with praises but he wasn’t hearing them. 

“Did we do it? Do we have it? Are we P2 of the constructors?”

“We are, Charlie, we are! All thanks to you. Splendid job,” Fred Vasseur’s words, filled with pride and emotions echoed in his ears. 

Everything went by in a blur and Charles wasn’t even sure what he had said during the after race interview. By some miracles, Max had still managed a P3 but by the grin he gave Charles in the cool room, you could have thought he had won. George was P2 and when he shook Charles’ hand, he didn’t fail to whisper a few words saying how impressed he was by how the Ferrari driver had raced today. 

When the podium finally arrived, Charles felt all the emotions held back all along the year come to the surface. All the late night work spent at the factory, all the disillusionments, all the hopes finally paid off and were worth it. He knew it, but when he scrutinized the crowd, trying to search for your face, forgetting briefly you wouldn’t be there, he felt a weight on his shoulders. And as soon as Monaco's national anthem started to play his eyes went up to the sky. 

“I know you don’t know me and you must be mad at me for what I did to your sister, but this win is for you, Luc,” he whispered. 

A champagne celebration in his garage along with his team and a shower later, he was finally ready to go partying until the early hours of the morning. Joris and Andrea were waiting for him, his bags with them, a smirk playing on their lips which drew suspicion on Charles’ side. 

“What?” he asked as Andrea shrugged, avoiding his glance. 

“Nothing. We were just thinking that it was a really beautiful day, don’t you think?” Joris replied. 

“We are in Abu Dhabi, it’s a beautiful day every day, mate. Seriously, what is wrong with both of you?”

“Well… we have a surprise for you. To celebrate your victory,” explained Andrea, mischief glimmering in his eyes. 

“No… I know what your idea of a surprise is and it is never good nor fun.”

“Believe me, I think you will love this one. Just turn around.” 

When he did, it took him a few seconds to recognise you. You were there, in front of him, a long blue dress floating around your silhouette, making you look ethereal. You looked older, tired and he knew it was probably his fault. A shy smile was playing on your lips as if you were unsure of what to say. It was brief, though, as you quickly shook your head, composed yourself and glued your eyes to his before walking determinedly towards Charles who was suddenly alone.  

“Y/N… I have so many things to tell you…” he started. 

“Did you mean it? When you said that it was important for you to have Luc’s name on your helmet?”

“I meant every word I said.”

“Good. Good.”

A silence floated in the air. 

“I’m sorry. I know it won’t erase the pain I caused you but I know the truth… You were right and I didn’t listen to you. Instead, I let Stan manipulate me.”

“It’s not only Stan, Charles… It’s everything else. What I said in my letter…”

“I read every word. Again and again. And then again, you are right. But you’re wrong about one thing. We will work out. We will find a way but you and I, we are meant to be. I don’t want you to regret us. And maybe I’ll spend the rest of my days trying to redeem myself and prove to you that you matter and that I love you, but so be it. I plan to woo you today, tomorrow and the next days. All my life if you let me,” he smiled, his forehead pressed against yours, your hands in his as he put them close to his chest letting you feel his heart beating loud. 

“And how do you plan to do that, exactly?” you smiled with an air of defiance. 

“I don’t know yet, but something tells me an idea is growing inside that pretty head of yours.”

You coughed, getting your composure back as you took a step back. You straightened up, smoothed your dress and looked at him right in the eyes. 

“Charles Leclerc, I’m Y/N, host of a podcast about racing. Usually I only interview women but I would love to have a chat with you, around a coffee maybe, whenever you’re free. What do you say?” you asked, hand outstretched, waiting and hoping for him to play along. 

“Well, Y/N, give me your number and I’ll see if I can fit you in my very busy agenda.”

And just like that, you both watched your story begin again.

xavier designing your first tattoo

you knew you wanted your first tattoo to have a lot of meaning.

xavier stared at you in shock, "you want me to draw your tattoo."

you nodded reassuringly, "i want it mean something special and what better than have you draw it for me."

xavier took that to heart, spending about a week designing it, making it was perfect, and something that resembled the two of you.

he was nervous when he showed you, watching your reaction as you looked at the design.

"it's beautiful." you whispered, looking back up at him, "i love it, thank you xavi."

sending down the paper, you glanced back at the tattoo, already envisioning where it would be.

i feel like xavi really has a soft spot for gavi like that's his son fr 🥺❤ and he won't allow anyone to doubt his talent and importance for the team! whilst he didn't really use gavi the best way possible in the second half of last season (and that also annoyed me) he def values gavi a lot and wants him to become the best possible version of himself. the way he always calls him up to pass on his instructions and calls him the soul and heart of the team 😭💞 he already sees him as a leader on the pitch despite his age and probably also sees himself in gavi in a way 🥲 dad and son fr fr ❤

I've said it before but Gavi is literally his mini me 😭😭😭 they're so similar so it makes sense that he clearly loves and dotes on him. Also imagine being a manager in charge of the club he loved his entire life and you find a player so young yet so passionate and dedicated to said club. A kid willing to literally bleed for his club and on top of it he's super talented and plays in the position you used to play and were the very fucking best at it. And as if all that wasn't enough, he also quickly became the glue that brings all the players together and is the dressing room's darling because he's just so easy to love. And on top of it, you can put him anywhere on the field and he'd never complain about it he'll just get out there and give his all. He's literally every manager's dream player and I'm not even exaggerating. But I'm so glad he's under Xavi out of all of them because Xavi seems to also care about him beyond being his player. He speaks about him so fondly like that's literally his son. The way he teased Gavi about his laces still brings a smile to my face they're very father son coded.

I know a lot of people say he stunted Gavi's growth with the leftwing slave shifts and maybe he did in a way because that's six months lost where he could've been developing in his actual position but him playing him there is just more proof of how much he trusts Gavi. He had other players he could've played there but he only trusted Gavi to give him what he needed in that position. So even that is a testament of how much he believes in Gavi and he defended him when everyone decided to turn their backs on him. He absolutely loves Gavi and appreciates him both as a player and as a person. The fact that he's Xavi's designated instructions transporter in games at nineteen and he's basically the one Xavi talks to the most in games says enough. When asked about it, Xavi said that he talks to most players but he talks to Gavi a lot because he has so much confidence in him, so much faith and because he's the soul of the team. Do you know how amazing it is to have Xavi fucking Hernandez talk like this about you? That's insane. So yeah he definitely has a soft spot for Gavi and he has every right to. I'll never forget how proud he was of him during and after the supercup final 😭😭

Part 8

Warnings: Fluff, Short, Drama

The mall trip is not over, they wonder a bit more looking at random items. They even get Riri one of Shuri’s jersey’s from a local sports shop that holds Benedict apparel. Panther had to be literally pulled out of the store when she wanted to get them matching outfits and tennis shoes. “But Baby we would look so cute!” “Maybe we would but not today we can come back.” The entire trip aside from Xavi was so much fun.

“Hey Ri can I confess something.” Riri laughs. “Are you making fun of me Panther?” “A little bit but. I have to let you know your surprise today was super thoughtful. It has my surprise beat.” Ri does not hear Shuri fully. “You are welcome Baby, it's like Renee said I had to have it for you. Plus you look so fine in it.” “Baby Girl, didn't you hear me? Close your eyes for me.” Riri looks over her shoulder at Shuri. “I tried to ignore you.” Complying with the request Ri closes her eyes which are gently blindfolded soon after.

The next time her eyes are uncovered Riri is inside a beautiful boutique. The aesthetic is elegant and upscale but Riri can tell it’s black owned the designs just showed it. MJ and a person who seems to know Shuri well come out from the back dressing rooms. “Baby you lied there is no way that suit will hold a candle to a dress from this place.” Shuri cradles Ri’s face. “Hey Princess don’t you worry. This is for Homecoming. Besides this is my cousin’s boutique so it’s more like a favor.” The woman steps forward and introduces herself as Aneka. She opens her arms wide pulling Riri in for a hug. With the warm welcome out of the way it was time to pick dresses. The process is taking a while. Riri going back and forth in all of these different colors and dress types is worth it to see her smile and laugh. Shuri zones out holding onto the memory of seeing such joy on her girlfriend’s face.

Shuri’s phone rings disturbing her peace. Al texted her a link about Xavi on social media “calling out” their relationship. His ig posts are basically him trolling about being “hurt” over his best friend dropping him over a “groupie.” To add to the issue there are girls who have tried to get with Shuri commenting that they had the same “situation.” Some even claimed that they were messing around last week. The anger is building within but she cannot allow Riri to see her. This internet shit will be taken care of another day.

This is so frustrating. I know Xavi has every right to refuse a player, but now that it’s resulted in Neymar leaving Europe, it’s just leaving me so heartbroken.

Hi! I'm having it pretty bad too, anon, but if we think with a cool head, this is just one narrative. Xavi isn't the only one at fault there, as some try to make it seem. Some medias or people 'covering' this whole affair conveniently forget our financial issues. The fairy tale rumors about PSG loaning him to Barça and taking charge of his salary are straight up delusional, given the relationship between the two clubs. With his huge fee and similar salary, what on Earth are we expecting Barcelona, still getting out of a financial pit crisis, being kept on its tiptoes by La Liga, slowly registering its own players one by one, to do. Xavi certainly was an obstacle to his coming to Barça, as he had, as a manager, every right to do so, but what with the tension between Barça and La Liga and those between Barça and PSG, things couldn't be more uncertain as to what we could've done with him. The questionning should, in my opinion, be oriented more towards Neymar's attitude (did he propose himself to other clubs? If he didn't, why?), the other big and financially healthy European clubs (if he proposed, why did they reject?) and PSG's own attitude.

I'm salty about Neymar leaving Europe, and I genuinely don't want to know what's going on in his head right now, but Xavi's the convenient black sheep designated by some medias or sources close from the Brazilian. So one of my absolute favorite songs and cover arts is "Your Struggle is also Mine" by Xavi. I associate it with Cscoop a lot because its his outro music. ORIGINAL ALBUM COVER

so i was watching a video where a guy made a custom skate deck and about an hour later i designed this!

I mocked it up in photoshop and then used some website to actually put it on a deck!
