The Titan Squad-1
It was a good day in earth realm the birds were singing and the sun was shining but not everyone was having a great day.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?"
Lord liu Kang shouted from his monastery he was currently standing in his private office with geras "i regret to inform you Liu Kang but the news of the tragic death of Titan Kung lao, Titan Kitana and Titan Hatsune it happened the night before and i received this information this morning" geras said with a sympathetic and sad look on his face.
Liu Kang sat on his chair with no emotions other than shock and sadness the news took a huge toll on him "they're dead? That can't be possible," liu Kang said in disbelief he looked down on the ground as tears formed in his eyes "do you know who killed them Geras?," Liu Kang asked geras who looked down in sadness and no hope "i am afraid I don't,but i have some important news that i want to share with you," Geras said to Liu Kang.
Liu Kang looked up with hope "what is it Geras?" Liu Kang asked "lord liu Kang, Titan Hatsune, Titan kung lao and Titan Kitana had a plan if they die, In order for their Titan power not to go into the hands of evil they prepared a transfer seal that when they'll die they're powers would go to another time line where they would be trusted, they transferred their powers to their other selves in a time line where they are surely protected" geras said to liu Kang "that's good news but which time line did they entrust it too?" Liu Kang asked geras with a concerned look on his face "their powers are stored in this timeline, they trusted your time line liu Kang" Geras said "I am sorry can you repeat that" liu Kang said in disbelief.
At the wu shi academy Kung lao had just woken up from his sleep and went to get ready for the day he had his black hair in a small ponytail he rubbed his black eyes as the sun rays shined on his olive skin.
"it is a really good day today!" Kung lao said as he jumped out of bed and tried to do a front flip and land only for him to start floating in mid air "what!? I am floating in mid air!?" Kung lao panicked he then started to calm himself down as he slowly landed on the ground.
Kung lao was shocked 'must be kenshi with his telepathy stuff' kung lao thought as he went to the bathroom and went to get ready for the day.
The cafeteria was surrounded by a lot of monks and including the earth realms champions kenshi, Johnny and raiden who were waiting for kung lao they sighed in relief when they saw kung lao approaching them with his Shaolin attire and wore his razor rimmed hat.
"good morning guy's" Kung lao said and sat down beside raiden "look it's that second choice monk" "sucks to be him" "heard he almost got chosen" "damn poor him" kung lao started to hear people bad mouthing about him behind his back Kung lao looked down in sadness but he wasn't bothered by their word's.
"don't listen to them Kung lao, these jerks are just jealous that you are one of us" Johnny said to kung lao with an annoyed look on his face he looked at Kung lao with a smile trying to comfort him"i know Johnny" kung lao said to Johnny when suddenly "look at how arrogant he is" "I think he is personally jealous of-" "would you just shut up already!? You're supposed to be monks not some gossiping teenagers !" Kung lao shouted at the junior monks.
The windows opened on their own as heavy winds flew inside surrounding the cafeteria "and for your information i maybe arrogant but that doesn't mean I am jealous because raiden is my best friend-" "Kung lao calm down!!" Kenshi shouted at Kung lao who looked to see the food flying around as the people held onto their seats "what happened!?" Kung lao asked as Suddenly the wind disappeared.
"what was that?" Raiden asked kung lao as they finally got down from mid air "i don't know but this morning i was floating when I jumped out of my bed" kung lao said "so liu Kang suspicions were correct" they looked to see geras standing by the cafeteria gate "Geras what are you -" "liu Kang wants to see you this instant" Geras said to kung lao "well what are we waiting for" Johnny Cage said "sorry cage but" Geras said as he stepped inside the went to them he stopped infront of Kung lao "lord liu Kang wants to see Kung lao" Geras said Kung lao eyes widen wondering what it could be about.
In the royal palace of outworld Kitana was asleep at her desk she had been working all night on an assignment her big sister had given her.
Li mei the head of the secret police entered the room to see Kitana asleep "princess wake up!!" Li mei shouted as she carried some books in her hand.
Kitana slowly woke up she rubbed her black eyes and her fair skin glowed in the sunlight, her black hair was a mess she looked at lei mei with a sleepish look on her face "morning Li mei" Kitana said "actually it's the afternoon" Li mei said to Kitana who put her hands on her head in frustration "are you alright princess?" Li mei asked "I am fine Li mei" Kitana said to Li mei "if you say so Princess and empress mileena is having a meeting so I'll see you then" Li mei said before leaving the office.
Kitana sighed "i really need some coffee" Kitana said to herself she looked beside her to see a cup of coffee floating with a teal blue aura surrounding it "am i dreaming?" Kitana asked as she grabbed the cup of coffee and drank it in one gulp "that felt better" Kitana said to herself.
Later Kitana had gotten ready she wore her usual royal clothes and her crown she made her way to the war room she entered the war room to see syzoth, Li mei , mileena , baraka and her father Jerrod who was in control of ermac.
"sorry if I am late" Kitana said "your exactly on time Kitana we were just about to start" mileena said Kitana sighed in relief "thank God" Kitana said to mileena "Kitana are you alright? You look like you haven't slept for days" Jerrod said concerned for his daughter "i am fine father" Kitana said to Jerrod "are you sure Kitana you look like your going to-" "I SAID I AM FINE SO CAN WE MOVE ON AND START THE FUCKING MEETING" Kitana shouted then suddenly everything started to float around the war room "princess calm down" syzoth said to Kitana who was in shock suddenly the weapons fell to the ground and Kitana was in shock.
"it seems that Kitana has also been facing the same issue that Kung lao faced" geras had just arrived at the war room "geras what are you-" "king Jerrod I am here to take Kitana to the monetary lord liu Kang wishes to speak with her about something important" Geras said to Jerrod while Kitana was wondering what had happened.
At the shirai ryu compound Hatsune was currently walking outside her brown hair in a high pony tail and her pale skin glowing in the sun her red eyes with a hint of Amber making them look warm she looked around as she walked in the garden when suddenly she saw Tomas walking with jade.
Hatsune glared at them feeling rage boiling inside of her "hey Hatsune!!" Hatsune looked down at Hanzo "well if it isn't ant man" Hatsune said with a smirk "shut up!!" Hanzo shouted at Hatsune and she rolled her eyes "why were you glaring at Tomas and jade?" Hanzo asked Hatsune she looked at hanzo "i wasn't glaring at them" Hatsune said to hanzo "yes you were I saw it with my own eyes!! Are you jealous?" Hanzo asked with a smirk "i am not jealous!" Hatsune shouted at Hanzo "yes you are-" "listen here short stack if you call me jealous one more time i am going to choke you to death right here and right now!!" Hatsune said to hanzo as red aura formed from the ground without Hatsune notice creating small rock hills around her "you got it?" Hatsune asked with a smirk "yes ma'am" hanzo said scared.
"BY THE ELDER GODS!?" The duo looked to see a huge three headed serpent with black scales and purple skin poison drooled from their mouth with their green fangs sharpened the three headed snake went to attack Tomas but Hatsune rushed forward in front of Tomas with her sword.
As Hatsune was prepared to kill it when she felt some weird energy as a red rune circle formed beneath the monster Hatsune then created red energy ropes from the rune tying the monster up "see you in the netherrealm bitch!!' Hatsune shouted as the monster then got sucked into the rune circle.
"Someone caught her she's going to-" "I didn't faint and that monster is big as hell" Hatsune said interrupting hanzo "are you alright?" Tomas asked Hatsune concerned "i am fine " Hatsune said looking at her hands "Hatsune ryujin" they looked to see Geras "liu Kang has been looking for you for years and finally you have showed yourself" Geras said to Hatsune "maybe whoever your god is should keep looking because I am leaving" Hatsune said as she walked backwards only to get sucked into a sand portal "don't worry she's in safe hands" Geras said before disappearing.
Hatsune ended up in liu Kang office only to see Kitana and kung lao "hi?" Hatsune asked awkwardly "great everyone has arrived" liu Kang said as he entered his office "you wanted to see us?" Kitana asked liu Kang "yes and.." liu Kang paused as he looked at Hatsune who was still confused about what was going on "oh you found Hatsune" liu Kang said to Geras "it was easy to find her lord liu Kang" Geras said to liu Kang.
Hatsune looked around "why am I here?" Hatsune asked liu Kang "that is the same question i am having" kung lao said to Hatsune "i am kung lao" kung lao introduced himself with a smirk Hatsune looked at Kung lao "Hatsune" Hatsune said to kung lao.
Liu Kang watched the two interact having thoughts in his mind "lord liu Kang" Kitana said liu Kang looked at them "oh yes, i would like to introduce you Hatsune the assassin from the netherrealm who had been keeping a low profile for a long time" liu Kang said introduction Hatsune to kung lao and Kitana "now for what I have called you for you see other timeline the time Titans have died a tragic death" liu Kang said trying to hold back his tears "those Titans are your counterparts" liu Kang said to the trio.
The trio were in disbelief "wait dead!?" Kitana said shocked "how!?" Kung lao asked Hatsune was silent as she was processing the information "what else?" Hatsune asked liu Kang "before their death they had made a plan to transfer their powers and those powers have went to you" lord liu Kang said to the three of them "transfer seal, that's clever and it explains why my everything in the war room started floating when I got angry" Kitana said to lord liu Kang "so we have titan powers that's cool!!" Kung lao said excited but Hatsune was worried "you seem worried Hatsune?" Liu Kang asked Hatsune "it's nothing" Hatsune said to liu Kang.
"don't worry you three will have control over these powers in no time but for that you must remain here at the monastery to train" lord liu Kang said to them "i am in" kung lao said "same" Kitana said Hatsune looked down she sighed and looked up "i guess i am in as well" Hatsune said to lord liu Kang.
Liu Kang looked at the trio infront of him kung lao and Kitana were happy but Hatsune seemed worried then happy but liu Kang didn't bother with it since it was her place to tell them.
For now it was time to begin their training .

Yup, still on my gay coproganda bs.
One of the more interesting things about Jiang Ting's character is how much he doesn't actually want to be a character. His defense mechanism is to turn the question around. We first see this when Yan Xie confronts him the first time about being 'Captain Jiang'. He asks Jiang Ting what he has to say about all of the things he'd uncovered about Jiang Ting's past, and Jiang Ting's response is "What do you want 'Captain Jiang' to say? Tell me and I'll say it."
And he does this so often. He could lie, he could tell a half-truth, instead he asks what the other person wants to hear. What they want him to be.
And guess what? I'm totally normal about that. XD
The earliest memory we have of him is as a child, cleaning his father's body and being grateful that he wasn't beaten today. He's too young to understand that his father overdosed (we get no information about his mother) and is already dead. He's too young to realize that the majority of the people in his small village are either addicts or dealers, that it's a miracle he was born without HIV. When he's sent to the orphanage, he's isolated and bullied, internalized that he's unclean and unlovable when he looks in the mirror. When Yan Xie gets angry at the corruption in the orphanage Bu Wei grew up in, he just replies that 'It's like that, in places like these.'
When Ma Xiang confronts him, asking him who he is really. Is he the mole that got Yan Xie shot and nearly killed, lying on an operating room table while they waited for news? Jiang Ting says it himself, he's the most suspicious out of all of them, because even swept under the rug, the rest of the division Knows something is off about their 'Consultant Lu'. Jiang Ting doesn't define himself. He says "I'm who your Yan-ge thinks I am."
Yan Xie listens to the half-truths he's spun about himself after he dragged Jiang Ting out of the river, and Jiang Ting tells him: The safest thing for you is to hand me over to the police. I can't make myself believe you, because I have nothing now. I can't respond to this feeling, because I don't want to lie to you. Whether you hand me in or not is up to you.
He even does this to Wen Shao, when his loyality is probed. "What do you want me to say?" Except Wen Shao thinks he understands Jiang Ting the best, that only Jiang Ting understands him. Jiang Ting tells the truth then, that the one who understood his reasons wasn't him. Yan Xie was the one who correctly guessed the motives.
Because Jiang Ting has never been wanted as himself. He was the child of drug addicts, tossed into a orphanage where the corruption was rampant and money went into the adult's hands more often than not. When he finally found a friend, someone who liked him and didn't chase him away, his first thought is of saving his friend. Wen Shao has money and a family who loves him, so it's okay if he dies as long as Wen Shao lives. When his friend betrays him, saves himself first, Jiang Ting is happy.
Except his first friend, the person who says now everything I have is yours and you will be my only brother, the one person who likes someone like Jiang Ting, is the son of a drug lord. He forces the kidnappers who hurt them to take heroin, then turns to Jiang Ting and asks if he's happy now.
The child who watched his father overdose and has finally learned to understand what drugs are, is forced to watch more people die the same way by the one person who was supposed to love him.
He's happy. He's very happy. (The lie is so weak - he's ten years old and he's never had to hide himself like this before, despite everything. He's only just realizing that his first lie was already made, because he can't be loyal to Wen Shao, not like this. But he lies, because what else can he do? )
Wu Tun adopted him to keep his son, Wen Shao, in check. He's a pawn, put into a good school and groomed to be a policeman with padded pockets who will let the drug cartel off. He hates - hates - that he has no choice in this, he just has to become the pawn Wu Tun wants.
Wen Shao returns and he's brought new, even worse drugs with him. He wants his Red Queen on his side, gives Jiang Ting an apartment to rest in, to take care of things that would be 'inconvienent' otherwise, and Jiang Ting hates and hates even more.
So he plans to kill the King of Spades, then take out the Ace of Clubs. It can't erase what he is, but maybe he can move forward. All the over time, the stress, the loneliness will be worth it. (I'm so very very Normal about how he can't just agree to hanging out with his coworkers, how he over thinks and decides half way to take the agreement back and say 'let's talk about it tomorrow'. Because he wants to go, for the first time in his life he wants to do something as simple as going out with coworkers - possibly friends.)
Except he's been sold out. His plan falls through. His team dies and he'll never be able to talk about it tomorrow, and when he runs into the fire, all that's left for him is three years of being comatose and the King of Spades going free.
When he meets Yan Xie, he hides. He wants to be what Yan Xie wants him to be, but he can't. He's still tied as the Queen of Hearts, haunted by the sins he's committed and the people who died. He comments that Yan Xie is blind falling for someone like him, calling him beautiful all the time. That this crush that he'd never allowed himself to pursue has come back into his life and wants to be picked by him.
The Red Queen's heart that was so full of hate now has something else. But even if Yan Xie was blind now, would he still love Jiang Ting when he saw the truth?
He hides and he hides and lies, and when the cards are drawn, he finally tells the truth, finds something to define himself by. "I love you, Yan Xie."
Yan Xie's faith in him is already broken. It has to be broken further. The best lie is the one that is the truth that no one believes.

(TGCF book 7 spoilers!)
After being so busy in the last few days, I was finally able to finish it! Let's just say that I have so many thoughts!
First things first, Shi Qingxuan my beloved ๐Ÿฅน I missed him a lot! Though I am sad at how much trauma he went through, it's nice to know he isn't completely unhappy and even became a beloved figure in his new community.
Second things second, Yin Yu! Even though he was full of ressentment over always being in the shadow of his shidi, he still protected Quan Yizhen, and I think this means a lot more than he realized! Deep down, I think he still cared deeply for him, and I felt quite sad over his death. (Also, is it just me, or do YY and QYZ remind a lot of SQQ and LBG?)
Speaking of characters I feel sad about, Qi Rong is probably the one I'm going to miss the most. I have so many thoughts on him, I almost don't even know where to start! He was always the character that brought a smile to my face with his shenanigans when things were more serious, so seeing him die was sad, but he had a very satisfatory ending imo! I think that, even after he started hating XL, deep down, he wanted his approval/attention/love, but because of his personality (shaped by multiple circumstances neither he or XL could control), he never truly got it. I think what QR truly wanted was someone who loved him inconditionally and genuinely regardless of his sociopathic and immature behaviour, something he didn't get since his mother died. And, in the end, he got it in the form of a child. Even after threatning Guzi so many times, he always stuck by his side, and, without realizing, QR also became attached, because deep down he just wanted to be loved. As he died, he realized this. Realized that he never got XL's love, but that didn't matter, because in the end he still had what he needed, which was his child's love. ๐Ÿฅน (Also the irony of him accidentally being right about most gods is not lost on me!)
And of course who can forget about the main highlight of this book? I always knew Jun Wu was related to White No-Face (in part because I was already spoiled he was the big bad of the series, thus they had to be related), and I always suspected White No-Face was the prince of Wuyong, so the reveal didn't surprise me at all. That being said, the way the reveal was executed gave me chills nonetheless! I think JW is perhaps the biggest projector I've seen in a piece of media, he really saw (sees?) XL as a version of himself and thus wants him to "join the dark side", because XL choosing the bright side might mean that JW could've become like that as well, and that perhaps hurts him. He succumbed to his own despair, so someone so identical to him must follow the same path... Right? But I wasn't expecting him to be so... In control of the narrative up until now. I wasn't expecting most monsters to be related to him as well, and I always thought that the HX/SQGX/SW ordeal was something mostly related to the three, so the reveal that JW was planning on getting rid of SW in one way or another... JW truly had eyes everywhere uh.
Another character that was everywhere in the narrative right under our noses as well was Mei Nianqing, he reminded me of XL as he recounted being involved in so many things since the days of Wuyong, to him being the person who tried to warn about SQGX's fate at the hands of the Reverend, to being the state perceptor of Xianle. I knew he was going to play a big role in the story after he was mentioned in book 6, but I wasn't expecting him to have such a big role in the story, to the point where it was him who basically explained the truth about literally everything.
I also liked seeing LQQ again, and Pei Ming was the funniest character besides QR. The shenanigans he gets himself into are always entertaining, but I can't help but pity him. One of his friends is dead, the other works directly for JW, and in the end he had to deal with a crazy ex-lover and a crazy ex-friend as well. Also wasn't expecting Ling Wen to be so... Cold, as she was one of the first characters we saw in the series to be somewhat amiable of XL. Then again, the hints of her coldheartedness were there since the Brocade Immortal arc anyways. It makes her quite the intriguing character!
And last but not least: Mu Qing and Fen Xing. I became much more found of them once I realized they where their own supposed subordinates who helped XL in the beginning. I was quite lukewarm of FX's doomed romance, but after these last two books I understand now why it makes sense within the story. Also, Mu Qing acted quite sus in this book, it didn't cross my mind at first, but I wonder if he's working for JW...?
So yeah, these are my thoughts on book 7! I admit I thought this was the last book of the main story and book 8 would have the extras, but I'm glad the story didn't finish just yet! I hope to get the special edition with merch this christmas haha! Also, I'm glad you liked to hear my thoughts on the story up until now! :)
Yay! Love reading this!
And oh yeah, YY and QYZ are definitely SQQ and LBH. That's kinda why I'm always side-eyeing the statements that all characters are straight besides the main pairing. Like. Girl, they clearly aren't lol.
And yes, Qi Rong! I think I did an analysis in the past about how if you look at exactly what he says early on in the story, he's right about every single god except for two: Quan Yizhen and Shi Qingxuan, the two gods who are actually the most pure hearted and kind and good, but otherwise, on paper, seem not fit to be gods--Quan Yizhen because he doesn't care about pleasing others and the clear autism subtext, and Shi Qingxuan because his brother literally took his god-exams for him to get him ascended. Yet, these are the two best gods in a lot of ways, and the only ones Qi Rong can't read for filth because he's seen so few examples of actually good people in power.

Hello beloveds, it is I: The Li Cu guy. I'm not sure if I'm coming back 100% but I was thinking about Li Cu. Tragic little guy
I can't remember if I ever made a post on this or if it was just smth mentioned to a mutual in DMs, but I think Li Cu would struggle with becoming his own person. He has two father figures (imo)
His own father, a man battling alcoholism and subjecting Li Cu to frequent abuse.
And Wu Xie, a man that put him through the worst experiences in his life, but also someone who, at the very least, seemed to at least care about whether he was alive or dead, which wasn't exactly something he was familiar with.
To Li Cu, these men can feel like nightmarish projections of his future. He wonders if he, too, will eventually distort - giving in to cruelty and violence, abandoning and hurting the people closest to him.
He lost Shen Qiong. Probably blames it on selfishness. He needed to survive. He needed to lie to Shen Qiong. And because of his betrayal, she died. He's haunted by her face. Haunted by the fact that she didn't have to die. Just to make sure he lived.
Su Nan as well. She essentially sacrificed herself for him. And for what? For him to inevitably become someone too lost in their own hatred?
He fears becoming someone he hates. He fears what he percieves as his inevitable future.
He's never had control of his destiny. It's always been chosen for him. Resignated to the ebb and flow of others' whims, what reason does he have to believe that he can dig his heels in, reject the idea that he'd ever give in to malice?
And meanwhile, chances are the people around him already see him as someone who can be better. Who will be better. Even if he can't see that himself.
Anyway hope everyone's been good

A Supplement to the Journey to the West is so hetero lol. I swear it was written by a fan who thought it was weird that Monkey had no love interests๏ฟผ in the original story.
Funny thing... I really love Supplement XD
Like I KNOW it is insane and anyone that has read it knows it much more like... Alice in Wonderland kind of storytelling rather than anything coherent. Location change on a whim, people come and go out of nowhere, and it's more of a bunch of symbolism tighten put together than anything like a trusted narrative.
Even Wukong being married to Princess Iron Fan is just more symbolism of him having to deal with his desire and the end villain supposedly being a demon made of the same stone as Wukong but as an Evil Fish... like... you can't just add on 'oh by the way, Wukong has a long-lost fish brother.'
If anything I find the story fascinating that it practically shows an alternative universe of 'what ifs' and impossible feats. Yama is dead. Time travel is a thing. Heaven has fallen to earth. Tripitaka is a general in an army. Wukong impersonating the Six-Eared Macaque..... THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ON AND IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY FUN IF YOU CAN GET WITH IT. The idea that Wukong marries Princess Iron Fan because he knocked her up BY JUMPING IN HER STOMACH is so MIND BOGGLING. Also Red Son just... doesn't exist. It says Princess Iron Fan as NO other children from Demon Bull King and even Wukong is confused because he KNOWS he fought her child.
And if you know the story then you know... it's all a dream/illusion made by a demon trying to eat Tripitaka and honestly, it sounds more like Wukong's nightmare than a dream.
And there are earlier interpretations of Sun Wukong before Wu Cheng'en made his final draft in the 1600s, one of those being Sun Xingzhe from Zaju Xiyou ji by Yang Jingxian who was known for being much lustier and having a wife Princess Golden Cauldron. He also had four other siblings as well. While this never made it in Wu Cheng'en's draft there was a lot more versions of monkey yao before the creation of Journey to the West.
I take it a lot more like modern media whenever a movie or a show tries to give one of the pilgrims a love interest. In many, if not most cases they die... rip. But it is that kinda 'what if' scenarios more for the sake of entertainment or trying to flesh out an already fully fledged character. I doubt SJTTW is meant to try to emulate JTTW the same way modern media doesn't try to claim Sun Wukong would actually have a partner as he has shown no interest in romance within the novel. Romance is left more to Zhu Bajie~

genya genya genya genya tell me about Chinese mythology
Been a long long time since I last studied it so I rather keep myself from saying bullshit. BUT i will NOT keep myself from talking about the three deities that never leaved my brain and who STILL refuses to pay rent!!! The Li brothers!!! (Or as I like to call them the "Heaven'Li brothers" because they're warriors of heaven, get it? i'm soooo funny and clever.)
(tw; mention of sucide, child abuse, murder, fratricide, torture, tentative of patricide and gore.)
SO. Let's start with the oldest!! Li JinZha!! Eldest son of general Li Jing(i despise that man with all my being) and Lady Yin Shi. He is the very definition of golden child and eldest daughter syndrome. He has tons of nicknames, but the most famous are; "Golden Tactician", "Great Crowned Prince" & "First Prince". Like his second brother; MuZha, their "lore" isn't very explained as they're both shadowed by their younger brother; Nezha. What is know about Jinzha is that he's the disciple of Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun, one of the Three Great Immortal. He leaved the Military Fortress of Chentag Pass at an early age to study under his master as it probably happened before NeZha's birth. There's no mention of him in NeZha's life (well it depends, in some versions he is present at his birth) until the fight with their father. When Li Jing was about to kill himself, Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun stoped him and made him hide in a cave (can't remember which one but in Chinese mythology caves always have super fancy name sskjsgdhgsf). When Nezha came to kill his father, Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun imprisoned him with the dragon stake and ordered Jinzha to whip NeZha until Taiyi Zhenren (NeZha's Master) called for his disciple. As I already said, the information on his story are poor (i would die for a show that talks about JinZha's & MuZha's adventures while being away from Chentag Pass) but I can tell you a funny fact about him; he is both god of medicine and exorcism, it's like he had "I'm a doctor but... *process to get a fucking sword*" energy. My interpretation of him is of the oldest child that always has been seen by the "favorite" by his brothers, when in reality he was nothing but a trophy to brag about at parties and was as neglected as the others, but he kept being "perfect" for the sake of still having his father attention. He's also the one trying his best to keep the family together and to avoid another murder. He needs vacation, and a an apology from both his brothers, maybe even a hug from them, and their father burning in hell.
The second is MuZha, his only nickname that I know is "Wooden Scholar". Same as his older brother, he leaved home early to go study under the one and only GuanYin!!! The deity of peace and harmony(GuanYin is shown as having a very unstable gender but i'll refer to her as she/her as she is shown more frequently shown as female in modern representation and to make it easier for myself, but i do believe in nb/genderfluid GuanYin supremacy). As said in his tittle, he is more brains than brawn unlike his brothers (but he is still a fighter, as he's frequently shown with melon hammers and hooks of wu). Same as JinZha, his first know apparition in NeZha's legend is when NeZha wanted to kill Li Jing, MuZha tried to stop him and fought him. And NeZha killed him. You heard me right, the seven years old killed his older brother, and you wanna know with what? With a fucking GOLDEN BRICK. but don't worry, MuZha is later brought back to life. We don't know how though, my theory is that GuanYin made him a new body with wood (I mainly imagine that because it would very funny if his coming back from death mirrored NeZha's, to me at least). My interpretation of him is pretty much of the depressed and nerdy middle child. He's sick of everyone in his family (except his dead mother), especially his brothers' bullshit (JinZha being scarily perfect and NeZha... being NeZha). He was was very loyal to his father pre-death, to the point of being blind to the neglect and abuse he would put him and his brothers in. Post-death he became distant to his bio family, staying with his found family with GuanYin as his parental figure and Red Boy & Longnรผ as his adoptive little siblings. live yo life nerd boy, live yo life!!
And last but not least, the fucking menace himself!!! NeZha!! Also known as "Third Lotus Prince". I talked so much about him in the past that his part will mainly be a mix of what is already in my notebook app. He's the reincarnation of the Pearl Spirit/Lingzhu. I couldn't find a lot of information on Lingzhu, except that it was a powerful (Lingzhu was stronger than the Twelve Golden Immortals) spirit who probably was a demon (In the same way as Lady Rock Demon of being an "Highly powerful spiritual weapon that is able of turning into a living being aka a demon"). Lingzhu was forced through reincarnation by the Three Pure One (Deities who are more powerful than the Jade Emperor himself). The fact that Nezha is the reincarnation of the Pearl Spirit who's original form is well, a pearl, makes Nezha soulless. You heard, the Third Lotus Prince doesn't have a soul. The Heavenly Realm made Lingzhu reincarnate as the third son of General Li Jing as a gift for the Li family. Nezha is literally a gift from Heaven. His mother, Lady Yin, was pregnant of Nezha during 3 years and six months and giving birth to a meatball from where Nezha will later come out from. Li Jing tried to kill him immediately but stopped. And Tumblr deleted the rest when I tried to save it in my draft I'm genuinely crying so fuck doing storytelling efforts and fuck you Tumblr. NeZha went to the beach, he played with his red tissue that Taiyi gifted him but he didn't know that it was magic and that he was currently causing chaos in the deep of the ocean, where the kingdom of the Dragon King of the east was located. Dragon king send a guard that talked badly to NeZha so NeZha killed him. Dragon King sent his third son and-
You know what sorry anon but I'm too tired I promise I'll update the post soon with the end of the story but I've been writting for two hours and I need to post it or else I'll go crazy xhigixturzruzurx7r.
And here one of my favorite representation of the Li bros!! They're from Fei Ren Zai/Non-Human and they're one of my favs because they're one of the rare and probably the only representation of them having a healthy relationship (and also Li Jing being depicted as the loser incompetent fucker he is.)

Chapter 106:
Three-Eyed-Pai is back and she is sassy, already snarking at the Egyptian Book Of The Dead. She goes on the teenager's spiel of humans creating gods to escape the fear of death. I mean, taking your heart out and putting it on a scale...if you take your heart out, you'll die. Stupid.
Tumblr media
Yakumo is freaked out though because that indicates they aren't in Konron after all. But Three-Eye-Pai tells him to shut up because the sand monsters are here. He asks her to read the hieroglyphics to him because they probably have the password for the Gatekeeper in them. She tells him about Anubis and his pet thingie that eats the hearts, Ammut. Then the book nerd, Thoth and owl-head boy, Horus. It's only then that she points out that though the Gatekeepers look like gods, they were created by a crazed Wu so Yakumo shouldn't get confused. And because they and the Konron Key were created by the Wu, the only way to get out is to destroy the place. Yakumo yells for her not to, to keep her from killing Gupta, but Three-Eyed-Pai collapses to her knees before she can do anything. The sand has invaded her body!
Tumblr media
But she gets the password! Somehow! And she blasts away...only for Yakumo to step in the way to stop her. She calls him an idiot and boom, explosion.
She holds back to keep from oblierating Yakumo, which he thanks her for, but he still has the Gatekeeper to deal with. Anubis is about to descend on him and Pai wakes up to apologize to him because she can't live with him when they turn human...because the sand is turning her to stone. They're fucked because only a Wu can calm down a Gatekeeper...and Yakumo is a fucking Wu! He rips his own heart out and holds it up for Anubis to judge.
Tumblr media
Outside, the driver with Steve notices the desert golem is disappearing. Inside, the chapter ends with Anubis bowing before Yakumo.

YES i love putting them through the spinner of angst. literally the only way i can think if rn is ray and maya telling them. like yk they thought their parents were dead, but turns out theyve been working for the enemy, but turns out they were kidnapped, AND TURNS OUT they also have a long lost sibling, A N D TURNS OUT HE WAS THE FUCKER THEY KILLED MONTHS AGO (if were going with that route yk) so just the parents were already a lot to take in for them, and then their lost brother turning out to be morro adding onto it?? oof
Oh yeah that would be A Lot to take in (now matter the route we took) poor Kai and Nya ๐Ÿ˜‚
ILL DO YOU ONE BETTER if we go with morro sacrifices himself then he fucking dies without ever making up with them. they are forever on bad terms (thats what they think until dotd ofc, because the one set thing we have for this is he DOES come back) ohh noo but if the reveal happens in s7 then they dont know theyre siblings until morro comes back. mmmmmmmmm yk what it doesnt HAVE to be siblings cause they were already friends/siblings (a la canon ninja team style) so it could work. depends on what they were arguing about tho. if they were just arguing about other stuff then it could work. doesnt work if they were arguing about the whole siblings abandonment thing
Oooo I like that
Hmm I mean we could have them find out sooner if we wanted to. And like maybe it's just me but I feel like if they found out later (like s7) Morro would be less bitter n stuff And more just, confused and afraid? Because like he's had the time to see that Kai and Nya are good people and probably wouldn't abandon him of their own accord and without good reason. And like they seem to care about him more? But maybe hes confused as to why they abandoned him in the first place (and afraid that there's nothing stopping them from doing it again)? Which could also be good.
Idk maybe that's just me, and it'd also probably depend on what route we took.
Another option for the reveal could be that they somehow find out sometime after Morro finds out he's not the green ninja, and like that could be the thing that pushes him over the edge and causes him to leave? Like maybe after the green ninja thing he still things he can prove himself while staying with the ninja. But then they find out they're siblings and its too much for him so he leaves.
Also I just remembered in s2 the time travel episode when they end up having to kidnap nya in order to restore the timeline. Not only would they have to deal with their past selves, but they'd also have to deal with Morro who (if we go the he grew up with Wu route) has been training to be the green ninja for years at that point and also has his powers meanwhile they don't have their powers. Aka they probably get their butts kicked and barely escape by the skin of their teeth (if at all). They might even have to reveal themselves to Morro like they did Wu in order to make it work (which would be SUPER awkward considering all that's happened that this Morro doesn't know about yet).
ALSO going the route where Morro doesn't die after he leaves you know he'd probably show up to Zane's funeral. Just like standing in the back where (hopefully) nobody sees him. And going that route there's also a good chance he could show up for the majority of s4 since he's still the master of wind he'd get an invite to the tournament. So if he accepted he'd be there for that. (Also if he does end up at the tournament him and Lloyd getting pitted against each other ๐Ÿ‘€) (or even him and Kai) (or both).
also i just had a thought MORRO ๐Ÿ‘ GOES ๐Ÿ‘ WITH ๐Ÿ‘ THEM ๐Ÿ‘ TO ๐Ÿ‘ SAVE ๐Ÿ‘ NYA ๐Ÿ‘ IN ๐Ÿ‘ THE ๐Ÿ‘ PILOTS ๐Ÿ‘ THATS THE FIRST INTERACTION (again IF were going with morro stays with wu)
Yesss
Sea I'm gonna need one of us to make a flow chart or something because I can't for the life of me wrap my head around all the different options ๐Ÿ˜… I'm a visual learner I need to SEE it
Tho correct me if I'm wrong but I do think we're both leaning pretty heavily towards him growing up with Wu?
Hi
Idk what else to put here I just wanted to say hi
Maybe tell me about one of your aus or something idk I'm bored
hi cradle :O
MMMM aus i dont really have anything to say about them without spoiling tbh. i can say that both morro betrays the ninja and morro joins the band have a sad (ish) ending lmaoo. ive got the next parts of both in the drafts, and ideas for movie morro
what else do i have
the morro long lost smith sibling one?? i dunno if that really counts as one?? since ive got literally nothing for it it was just a fleeting thought. i mean if anyone wants to steal the idea go for it

I wonder how Wukong would feel if he ever found out that Liu and Macaque were in something of a relationship together.
(this post is me trying to make sense of macaque/liu happening so it's really just babble. i'm adding this note as i'm getting to the end of the post. btw i'm calling this ship sugarplums. sugar plums are associated with winter because of the nutcracker that is associated with christmas. winter because that is liu's season, and plums for the obvious. are you seeing the vision. are you picking up what i'm putting down.)
i honestly don't know how he would feel or react. as it is, whatever liu and macaque would have would be... complicated. and hardly romantic. it's a thing born out of loneliness and desperation, never good.
and when does this thing of their start? ok, liu is the sole survivor of the huaguosida from erlang's fucked up shade of justice, and macaque survives too. they find each other. realize this is all somehow wukong's fault. macaque just about knows what's happened to wukong and where he is and what he's doing and is thoroughly convinced they've been fully abandoned. does he immediately begin to pursue wukong? or does he bide his time, consummate this thing with liu, try with them to keep what little left of FFM they have? i can't imagine liu abandoning FFM. i can imagine macaque abandoning FFM.
macaque leaves. liu doesn't. maybe there's something there then, maybe liu, on their own for the first time in a very long time is frightened of it, and desperate for some kindโ€”any kindโ€”of companionship. maybe that leashes macaque for just a little while before he can't take it anymore and has to go get revenge.
what then, where does that leave liu, loyal liu who knows what's left of FFM is suffering and will fall apart without someone to guide them? this is their home, they can't... leave. wuโ€”. wukong instated them as a general for a reason. FFM is part of the reason.
so liu stays on FFM to take care of who's left. macaque goes off to. die. the rest of the journey happens. most of the monkeys who did have any shred of longevity are long gone to live lives away from their home that hosted much trauma to them, and eventually, liu has no one left to take care of. ma, ba, and beng are still. dead.
macaque is dead. until he isn't.
so macaque comes back. wukong is in self-imposed exile. he'd just missed liu by a few decades. liu does Not return to FFM at any point after they permanently leave. all-hearing liu'er mihou easily locates liu. enraged. confused. desperate. alone. explains everything. liu becomes. enraged. confused. they're desperate. already alone.
ok so this is how it happens.
and wukong is angry at macaque. but not at liu. never at liu. wukong would definitely feel... hurt. betrayed, in some way. but knowing he doesn't have the right (when it comes to liu at least) to feel that way. what happened to FFM was his fault, and he's been tryna make up for it ever since he re-settled, knowing that could never be. (he's been tracking down the monkey yaoguai that used to live there to check on them. see how they're doing. give help without exposing who he is to them when and where he can. sends clones to do the same.)
he'd also be confused. when did they even have time to do that? ("my liege," oozing with poisonous sarcasm, "you were gone a very long time.") oof. that stings. alright, he admits that was his bad (it wasn't his bad, he was imprisoned by the journey with no other choice, but that's no excuse. it's never an excuse.)
he's lost two of the most important people in his whole existence thanks to his mistakes, and they've found each other in this awful, wretched way that's like fangs injecting venom into flesh. he's.
he's heartbroken.

iFeng Film interviewed Bai Yu by phone. The interview contains spoilers of the drama The Wind Blows from Longxi.
Bai Yu watched Brotherhood of Blades and A Writer's Odyssey before and has a good impression of director Lu Yang. So why is it that Lu Yang had to persuade him into the role? Bai Yu answered laughing: "I just gave him some little pulling and pushing, hahahahaha." For Bai Yu, his first criterion to choose a project is whether the role appeals to him and then the collaborators. "I think the script (of TWBFLX) is fine. I read it carefully several times before I fully understood it. To be honest, I found Xun Xu's character a bit "silly", then Lu Yang talked to me several times and I suddenly realized that Xun Xu is just an ordinary person who sticks to his heart." Eventually, Bai Yu decided that Xun Xu was worth playing.
Not surprisingly, some audiences are unhappy about Xun Xu's actions and consequences. To this, Bai Yu answered jokingly: "Do you think you'd do well in that time? Playing a relatively normal person among a group of schemers is quite interesting. After all, they're all so good and I don't need to be good!"
For Bai Yu, the death of Xun Xu's sister is very influential to his character. He had been thinking about how to act that scene for a long time but didn't find a satisfactory solution. "Because I was beaten, I couldn't move the lower part of my body. I could move my hands but not how I liked it. On the day of filming, I was lying there and I suddenly realized that the pillow was made of wood and I could move my head. So I thought to myself: why don't I try it? Feel it? Then I did it and the result was not bad!" "It hurt a little but not that much."
Did Xun Xu ever suspect Zhuge Liang? Bai Yu considered it for a while: "If there were evidence, he would. But there wasn't. And because his family served the Zhuge Clan and he witnessed his doing since childhood, so he had ultimate trust in him."
About the ending. "For Xun Xu, Chen Gong's choice is surprising but it makes sense. Xun Xu doesn't want Chen Gong to die but he understands Chen Gong that he must do it." Bai Yu admitted that those who live would suffer more than whose who are dead. It's cruel. "I think Xun Xu made compromises. Zhuge Liang told him "people are the most important" and that's what he sticks to. Going to the East Wu is a compromise. He more or less works as a spy and becomes the new White Lord."
The hardest part of the role of Xun Xu is to make believe that such pure person exists in such complicated circumstances. Xun Xu's shyness towards Liu Ying is very natural. According to Bai Yu, to act well in that scene, "you just need to believe in love." Sometimes Bai Yu's own character was shown while acting and Lu Yang had to remind him of it. Bai Yu admitted: "That's right. Sometimes you were too immersed that you got high and became very sensible. That's something I'm learning: to find a balance between sensibility and rationality in my acting."
The parting scene with Chen Kun is one of the most important scenes in this drama. At the time of the interview, it was not aired yet. Bai Yu fooled around: "I did not cry in that scene! I was very cool. Cool till the end!" "It's indeed a very important scene and I have a lot of lines. When Brother Kun and I began to film that scene, we already went through a lot. And we did it well the first time we tried it and we both felt satisfaction in acting." After that, Lu Yang made some adjustments and shot several times. "I can't remember how many times we've filmed (that scene) but both Brother Kun and I kept the emotions, which was miraculous. I never had such experience, being able to keep the emotions for so long."
It was summer when they filmed the drama and the temperature inside often surpassed 40 degrees. The actors had to put on costume-drama clothes that consist 3-4 layers. All the actors have become thinner, especially Bai Yu.
Bai Yu only spent 5-10 minutes in filming the fight scene (training included). "It was so easy. But I didn't feel satisfied as I love martial arts." He'd expected a long training session like Lu Yang did in his previous movies. "I prefer melee combat. What Liao Fan did in the movie Master feels so real and I like it a lot!"
TWBFLX is very influential to his acting. "I didn't realize it at that moment. But when I was filming Take Us Home, I realized that I'd improved and the improvement was evident." It's more of an instinct. When one reaches a momentum of acting, he feels satisfaction that's not related to the outcome. Bai Yu really loves acting as it gives him satisfaction. But he never considers how far he can go. "As long as I am improving it's good. As to how good I can be, it depends on good fortune." As to director Lu Yang's hope to collaborate with him again, he answered firmly: "Director Lu Yang, come to me with a good script! Come!" His excitement could be felt through the phone.
Bai Yu has become good friends with fellow co-workers Song Zu'er, Chen Kun and Bai Yufan and interacts with them quite a lot. The key for Bai Yu is that they're sincere people. "Chen Kun cares for me as an older brother."
Bai Yu believes that it's important to have enough resting time between projects because an actor needs to live life to experiment and feel. But currently he has to force himself to adapt to a full schedule as he can't refuse the roles that he wants to play. "In the future I'll have to force myself to reduce my work time." Reporter: Ni Ni says that she quite enjoys being on set all the time. Bai Yu: "I'll ask her what's that she enjoys and see if I can understand it." Bai Yu likes riding motobike to relax but he said it was not to reduce pressure but because he really likes it. "I choose to sleep when I'm really feeling the pressure."
Recently, Bai Yu has played several tragic roles and it seems that he's attracted to tragedy (Last year he mentioned Manchester By the Sea as one of his favourite movies). "It's a life stage thing. Whether it's tragedy or comedy, if the role touches me, I'll go for it." It seems that honest, innocent and stubborn has become his new image. But Bai Yu said that he wasn't worried about being typcast. A: Do you think you can act well the role of Chen Gong? Bai Yu: "I'm very confident that I can act well, but I don't think I can surpass Brother Kun. Haha!"

My thoughts on Ninjago the Island!!! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ
So, gotta be honest... this is not a Blind reaction thing, I actually watched it in French first so I know most of the stuff already ๐Ÿ˜… It's entertaining, it got great animation, but nothing more than that in my opinion ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
Still there is stuff I liked or I want to point out, and finally I'm seeing the English version so I can actually understand what the HECK they are saying ๐Ÿคฉ
Alright, nothing else to say, here we go!
UNCHARTED
I haven't actually seen anything Clutch Powers related before Ninjago, is he always like this? I love that he is a jerk honestly, just wondering ๐Ÿ˜‚
Press F for respect for intern Dwaine (at least he seems to like being... used?)
Clutch: It's just a bunch of rocks! It's not alive!
Totem: I'm about to end this man's whole career
Wait, Misako is part of the explorers club? ... that would have come in handy in season 11 to get the scroll of Forbitten Spinjitzu from the club instead of begging uncle Powers for it... *sighs* I don't mind plot holes in Ninjago like most fans I think, but if you wanna make Misako relevant again at least pay attention to the details ๐Ÿ˜…
Wow, after the end of season 13 I would've thought Wu was going to go through a midlife crisis, not Misako ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Oww, everytime I hear I get ๐Ÿ˜ข Bless your soul Kirby, always in our hearts ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค
Well hello Brian
Tumblr media
Always nice to see you ๐Ÿ˜Š
Twitchy Tim must have been pretty interesting to voice ๐Ÿค” I like him enough, he's fun and all, maybe not at the level of the characters we got last season
Okay, the place is called the STORM belt, there are LIGHTNINGS, and the sand of the beach is BLUE. Are we gonna address any of these similarities to our Bluebell here or not? ๐Ÿ˜…
Wait, Tim was giving a hot air balloon tour, does that mean other people where with him? What of them? Are they dead? Did he let them die on the island?... am I reading too much into this? Probably ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
Alright, the part of the boats? SO COOL ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ I literally can't say anything bad about the animation at this point
Why did they think leaving Kai, Jay and Cole on one boat was going to be a good idea ๐Ÿ˜‚ Also Zane just randomly doing sick tricks on his vehicle, love that nindroid
I'm guessing Nya is keeping her water abilities for her season ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
Yep, yep, this is why the creators try to keep Pixal out of the adventures, with her everything is way too cool and easy to access to ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
Twitchy Tim: There are statues that become alive!!
Lloyd:... so it's a season 2 stone army ripoff, we've seen worse
It's a cute episode overall ๐Ÿ‘
THE KEEPERS OF THE AMULET
OKAY THE INTRO IS SO FREAKING COOL ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ
So Twitchy Tim has temporarily taken over Jay's role of spazzing out and complain about worse case scenarios... in another occasion they might have bonded over this, maybe ๐Ÿ˜‚
Okay, survival position? MOOD
Nya: DRAGOOON ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
Me: DRAGOOOOOOON ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Why am I not surprised that Jay was the one that named him Zippy? ๐Ÿ’™ Also HE'S SO CUTE ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• Love how in every adventure, we always get very different types of dragon in this show ๐Ÿ‘Œ I'm a simple person, I see a dragon... ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ
Oh-oh, it's the "Lloyd's done with this crap"'s face
Tumblr media
This means serious business... am I that used to LEGO characters that this way of crossing arms on the chest looks almost normal to me? ๐Ÿ˜…
Soooo, Master of the Mountain clearly gave Cole too much development... because now he got demoted to "the one who is always hungry" ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ I'm all for Cole's endearing love for cakes, which is super relatable, but if you're gonna push it on his fun side, at least be coherent ๐Ÿ™ƒ
Is it just me or it feels like the writing of this special was made by someone different from the one of season 13? Like, it's not bad, just less engaging and witty. For now. Maybe I'm being premature ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
New way of nerfing powers, we got... weird, sucking power totem thingies... OKAY
My gosh I really can't say anything about the animation, look at that! It's all cinematic with such a light! YES!! ๐Ÿคฉ
I'M SORRY
Tumblr media
WHY ARE WE LOOKING OVER THIS??? IT LOOKS LIKE COLE'S LAVA PUNCHES BUT THEY ARE JAY LIGHTNING FEET??? IT'S A GREAT IDEA AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT AGAIN??? WHY ARE WE IGNORING THIS??? ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™
So they at least addressed that lightning isn't a Jay's thing only anymore ๐Ÿ˜…
Alright, Jay having a mental breakdown because of a bridge because it always breaks, that's the Bluebell I know and love ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Nya telling him to keep moving was cute too ๐Ÿ’™โค๐Ÿ’™โค
Okay, I'm sorry but this really bothers me, what kind of lightning can instantly knock out the MASTER OF LIGHTNING??? Like, my gosh, really??? I hope they give us an explanation, like it's some sort of special lightning, because this really doesn't sit right with me. Jay is lightning proof, we've seen it in Skybound, we've seen it in Sons of Garmadon, I DON'T BELIEVE HE WOULD JUST BE KNOCKED OUT LIKE THAT ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก
Soooooo, storm amulet? Being one with the lightning? Is that the reason why Jay got to be the sacrifice? ๐Ÿ˜…
THE GIFT OF JAY
Alright, I am kinda looking forward for this one, what did Bluebell actually say or do to get him into trouble this time ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Oh, he just... introduced himself... well that was underwhelming
SENSEI๐Ÿ‘YOU๐Ÿ‘ARE๐Ÿ‘A๐Ÿ‘FREAKING๐Ÿ‘GOD๐Ÿ‘STOP๐Ÿ‘GETTING๐Ÿ‘KIDNAPPED๐Ÿ‘BY๐Ÿ‘RANDOM๐Ÿ‘VILLAINS๐Ÿ‘
Bring ooooon Lloyd Grills ๐Ÿ’ช
Okay I did like the little speech, definitely resonates with how Lloyd survived this long even though everything wanted him to give up, even his father... I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Jay out there making the real questions ๐Ÿ˜‚
Awwww Edna used to call him gift of Jay? I can totally see it, so cute ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™ Makes even more sense if Libber actually left Jay at the Walkers' door...
Pff, Jay made the connection I would've done honestly ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Like, him being the master of lightning really didn't give these dudes any impression or inspiration? Any cool idea, full Road of El Dorado style? ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ
Lloyd out there abusing of the animation budget ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š
Somehow these ninja never actual sneak in, it's always a huge mess everyone knows about beforehand ๐Ÿ˜‚ It's familiar though, I'm used to it and happy with it ๐Ÿ‘
I might not be the biggest Misako fan, but you know what I am a fan of?
Tumblr media
LEGO HUGS ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Dang it uncle Powers, you just got here to make a mess did you ๐Ÿ˜…
Not the first person of the fandom to say this, but Jay looks absolutely lovely with that flower crown ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒบ
Oh poor greenie
Tumblr media
Lloyd just has the worst luck ๐Ÿ˜“
Jay: Why would I be the gift?
Kai: Yeah who would want Jay?
Nya: Huh, me?? ๐Ÿ˜ก
Got some very good Jaya for this little special, can't complain ๐Ÿ’™โค๐Ÿ’™โค
I mean, not matter how big of a snake Wojira might turn out to be, we've already seen the biggest and the second biggest snake of all so ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
Whoa, at last... IT WAS THE FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER THAT HAD SOMETHING HE SHOULD'VE TOLD WU A LONG TIME AGO!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Wu, you got pulled a Wu, how does it feel? ๐Ÿ˜‚
Again, Jay freaking out, kinda my jam it's too funny ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™
Wow Kai way to be hominous offscreen ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I miss talking about my flame babe, this really isn't his time ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
THE TOOTH OF WOJIRA
So when I first watched this I was genuinely, really excited about knowing the truth behind all this. It turned out very different from what I first thought, but at least in this case it's okay (besides I was pushing with the lightning meaning just to see Libber again ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…)
I feel like the guys get their powers stolen or blocked so much it takes them a minute to remember "Oh wait I can literally burn my way out" ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
SPINJITZU YAY ๐Ÿคฉ
I... forgot that Misako knows how to fight ๐Ÿ˜… She knows how to do spinjitzu too if I remember correctly...
NYA BEING LIKE "OUT OF THE WAY IMMA SAVE MY BOYFRIEND AGAIN" โค๐Ÿ’™โค๐Ÿ’™
Gotta love how they were all crazy worried about Jay, like, this is something that never changes through the show. They really care so so much for each other ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•
Ooohhhh, okay, so Wojira does seem to be the main villain of next season according to the story. I remember Tommy saying that we needed to have faith and this is probably why. The special was okay, nothing too much, and hopefully that too much we will see in Nya's season ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
What the- pff, I didn't notice this the first time ๐Ÿ˜‚
Tumblr media
At this point I can't tell if that one short with the chicken of the movie carried a hate or a love for chickens in the actual show ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Nice to see Jay standing up for himself at least for a little while ๐Ÿ’ช Also Lloyd being "He's our trouble", aww family ๐Ÿ’œ
THERE IT IS
Tumblr media
MY BRUISE HEART IS SOARING ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’™
Gotta give props to the voice actors, voicing an explanation while fighting must be pretty hard! WE ARE BLESSED WITH AN AMAZING CAST!!! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ
And there he is, our favorite jerk... shaved Ronin ๐Ÿ˜‚ He does look a little weird, but it's fair, new animation and all. Not the weirdest until now ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
I genuinely had to make a mental check to see where we are with Ronin now, like, he started as a villain, then a partner, he betrayed us, became an ally, he hunted the ninja, then joined them, that timeline was erased, he was around in SoG and... wow this man is chaotic ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Yaaaay, Twitchy's last minute redemption act! Lloyd is too good at motivational speeches ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
A bit of Lava OTP/BrOTP
Tumblr media
Cause it's good for the heart โค๐Ÿ–คโค๐Ÿ–ค
Okay, Scooby doo reference, why not? Also honestly, I'm confident Ronin has seen A LOT of jails and prisons... probably won't stay behind bars for long ๐Ÿ˜…
Mammatus: sorry for imprisoning you and almost killing your friend
Kai: no biggie, that's how we make friends in this show
Alright the "And Clutch Powers" gag made me chuckle ๐Ÿ˜‚ ... wait where is he- DANG IT UNCLE POWERS
Okay, this is the last time I say it I promise, but I mean. I MEAN
Tumblr media
THE ANIMATION GUYS ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Aaaaand sensei you jinxed it ๐Ÿ˜… But you apparently awakened Nya's season so I'm gonna forgive you on this one ๐Ÿ˜‰
FINAL THOUGHTS
There are a few little details that bothered me a little, and it wasn't as exciting as I maybe hoped it was going to be, but it was fine. Enjoyable still. These characters make me like the show, even when it got nothing too impactful ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
But I got triggered about that lightning thing with Jay ๐Ÿ˜… I guess I'll just fanfic whatever I had in mind...
Don't have to repeat myself about the animation *chef's kiss*
The writing was really less engaging, a little normal in a way? Idk just a feeling. Nice to see Ronin again though, I really like him. And nice to see Jay freaking out, I really like that too ๐Ÿ˜‚
To be honest I wanted to put down my thoughts on this one because I REALLY wanna do the same with Nya's season ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ I already know that Maya is gonna be there and I am so HAPPY already!!! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™
So that's it from me! Thank you for reading me ranting, see you next season! ๐Ÿ˜Š
