After nearly two-hundred live performances spanning two international tours, Louis Tomlinson is celebrating the end of era on the road that spanned three years. On Thursday, the musician shared Live, a record captured across 15 different shows in 15 different cities.
“I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last 3 years touring the world twice over, the feeling I get sharing those live moments will be with me forever,” Tomlinson shared in a statement. “To be able to record these songs from all over the world and put them out as an album like this feels so special, and a real tribute to the fans who make each and every show feel unique and incredible. Thank you! Enjoy!”
The album features live performances from both the Louis Tomlinson World Tour — which was cut short in 2020 and resumed in 2022 — and the Faith in the Future World Tour, which kicked off in 2023 in support of the singer’s sophomore studio album of the same name. Combined, the tours included 170 shows in 47 countries across 5 continents.
Tomlinson captured performances of popular singles “We Made It” and “Walls” from his debut solo album Walls and “Written All Over Your Face,” “Silver Tongues,” and “Out of My System” from Faith in the Future. The album features recordings from London, Nashville, Vancouver, Barcelona, Chicago, Budapest, Paris, and more.
The digital version of Live is available now, with physical editions for the record set for release on Aug. 23 on a double CD and 2LP picture disc vinyl.

Suga DUI and The witch hunt:
How SK media handled suga DUI Vs the other DUI cases in that country where a DUI of falling over an E-scooter gets more coverage than BTS Grammy achievements alone and when there were other DUI cases happening in that month too ,even the following months with even SK ex president daughter having DUI but guess here we have media leaving no chance to use BTS to cover every issue in south Korea.
Total of 271,525 articles were published about this incident and among them SK media alone published 263,913 articles .29,990 articles were published on 10 aug 2024 alone making upto almost 5000 articles per date ,alot of these articles were almost identical and only 6% factual .During period ( 7 Aug- 15 SEP ) most articles were written in earlier dates.
Top media houses which include JTBC ,Dong -A ,X -spots ,Ten Asia ,Yonhap ,Top star shaped public opinion ( by sharing fake CCTV footages and other misinformation) with this much reporting and while neglecting the imp cases or issues such as deepfake etc but even with this much reporting media failed to teach public and authorities about these E- scooters and rules , regulations about their usage and classification because even the Head of Urban Transportation Office couldn't recognise which scooter was suga using when shown picture ,so people clearly need to be educated.
By this post I am not defending crimes or saying DUIs are nothing , the problem is if DUI is so worse in Korea then all the other DUI cases should be treated like this too but they were solved in one or two weeks, got almost no media coverage,no tabloids articles written,no blogs mentioning those cases,no fake information and the media and witch hunt happened only in this case.If this is fair treatment and a standard for how a criminal and DUI case is handled why I am unable to see the same for other cases which were worse where there was property damage ,car involvement .If crime and law is important every citizen should be treated equally just because they are BTS it doesn't mean that they have to tolerate this much . Journalists ,blogs ,media dont have to treat BTS like this and this is without antis which also contributed a lot ( by creating fake DUI challenges ,sending funeral wreath etc which is still happening to even this date).
* I tried to share links ,drives ,pdf since yesterday but I am not able to due to my phone and Tumblr acting up. Props to people who actually did this research by doing so much hardwork.

I was tagged by @my-rose-tinted-glasses. Thanks, Rose!
go here to see your top 10 posts of 2024, share them and tag people!
1. Watch Tracy Chapman Start a Quiet Revolution. 11,874 notes - Feb 5 2024
After watching Tracy Chapman perform with Luke Combs at the Grammys I thought: SHE’S STILL GOT IT. So I dug out a video of the first time I’d ever seen her (which also happened to be the first time I’d heard Fast Car) -- a live performance at Wembley Stadium in 1988. It’s life-altering. No joke.
2. Re: Love in the Air (Japanese Version) First impressions. 273 notes - Nov 2 2024
I am enjoying how the tighter script in the Japanese version is making it even more obvious that Payu/Arashi really did have...
3. In which I lose my mind over the current state of QL and Asian Gay Dramas. 194 notes - Jan 10 2024
There's so much diversity on our screens right now! My currently airing favorite queer dramas include a hot af trans chic and...
4. Unknown - Ep 11 - That Scene 187 notes - May 11 2024
The opening scene of episode 11 landed differently for me than it did for others. I was going to just keep it to myself since I have a minority opinion, but when I rewatched it last night I fell even more in love with it!
The structure!! It’s so good! Let me explain... (gif by @wanderlust-in-my-soul)
5. Re: The main characters’ names in A Killer Paradox. 169 notes - Feb 10 2024
THEY BOTH HAVE SUCH CUTE NAMES!
당 = Tang = Nickname for Sugar and used at the end of words to cute-ify them.
난감 = Nan Gam = Embarrassed. Impossible. Awkward. Because you’re at a loss, in a sticky situation, or facing a conundrum, a paradox. His full name Jang Nan Gam means Toy, and can sometimes be slang for ‘Are you playing with me?“....
6. In Defense of Dee’s choices in Wandee Goodday as the fandom got progressively more and more frustrated with him. 162 notes - Jun 1 2024
I 100% understand Dee’s behavior this episode. He’s aware of his own feelings, aware that they’re growing, and sometimes he can’t help himself. He crosses the line because of those feelings. Yet every time Yak says or does something that seems a little over the line in return (like introducing himself to Dee’s parents as his boyfriend), Dee feels like...
7. On the nifty Korean wordplay in the opening and closing credits of Love Next Door. 145 notes - Aug 24 2024 THE THIN LINE BETWEEN HATE AND LOVE. Just putting this out there because it was a cute visual! At the end of episode 2, we see the episode title written in the stars... (This ended up being something I posted about for at least half the episodes, but I never did collect the posts into an easy-to-find series. Hmmm....)
8. In which I got my hopes up after watching the first 2 episodes of Wedding Impossible (before they were dashed against the rocks later...) 145 notes - Feb 27 2024
It’s probably too early to be putting this out there, but Wedding Impossible has a gay male lead, a lavender marriage plot between said gay lead and his high school bestie who beats up homophobic bullies and acts as his beard during their school years, and said bestie falling in love with the gay lead’s younger brother (so a noona romance?)...
9. Just another day of simping for Gun Attaphan and sharing a host of his pics. 140 notes - Feb 5 2024 THE SERVE! My favorite flavor of Gun Atthaphan looks is when he dresses like a U-haul Lesbian.JUST LOOK AT THE MAN!...
10. A 4 Minutes Theory that was only kinda right. 135 notes - Jul 27 2024
4 MINUTES - DEATHBED REGRET THEORY
So @biochemjess put forth the idea that both times that we have seen Great see 4 minutes into the future were times he failed to take responsibility for his actions.
We also have the account of the cardiac arrest survivor that Dr Den is interviewing who says that she did not know she was having a cardiac event, but instead experienced it like living her past memories again, and....

2023 Tumblr Top 10 Posts
This was really interesting to go throughas I really try to avoid anything related to stats - but also fun to revisit some posts/fics I’d forgotten about!
This year was such a transformative year in many different ways, that I’m still trying to process with 2024 quickly approaching. I’m looking forward to seeing what the New Year brings. But I hope it brings me more of the same I’ve experienced here - community building and some wonderful people that I get to call friends 💕
So if you’re interested, check out the following! If you do your own Top 10, please tag me in it! 🙌 you can do your own here!
1. 879 notes - Jun 26 2023 - Pre-Outbreak/Non-Outbreak Joel (photo set)
2. 413 notes - Sep 10 2023 - Sequins (Joel)
Still so thankful for @wildemaven posting that gif - because if she hadn’t Sequins!Joel would never have been created! It’s the gift that keeps on giving. This was also my first foray into anything non-TLOU themed for Joel and I’m still shocked it was received so well.
3. 306 notes - Sep 26 2023 - Happy Birthday (Joel)
Written for Joel’s birthday - this was just straight up smut and birthday sex. But hey, it’s canon Joel likes it gentle, steady, nice and slow… so who was I to not give him nice and slow 🫠
4. 237 notes - Aug 16 2023 - Stood Up (Frankie)
To this day I don’t remember where this idea came from. I was really intimidated to write for Frankie, like I almost didn’t post this! But I’m so glad I did, it’s spurred several other one-shots involving Frankie x Mav and a current (neglected) WIP that I’m excited to get back to in the new year.
5. 227 notes - Aug 31 2023 - Marcus Pike coded Pedro, which inspired this (and number 7).
6. 225 notes - Jul 6 2023 - New (to me) Whiskey promo shoot (photo set)
7. 205 notes - Sep 2 2023 - Sick Day (Marcus)
When I first came back to fanfiction I was so confused by the reader insert format. The last time I wrote fanfic, it was canon characters or OC’s - which is what both Gold Rush and Chiffon (my first) are written in. So in order to try out the format I started with Marcus and what is now the Sweet Jane series. I have plans for those two, I have how they met mapped out in my head, that I hope to explore soon!
8. 175 notes - Aug 4 2023 - Strings (Joel)
This was another nerve wracking foray - reader insert Joel and because it was a challenge to write Joel with someone other than my OC. It started as a one-shot, that then was three parts, then four and finally finished at five. It’s also the only series I’ve managed to complete 😆. I’m so proud of this one, it has a special place in my heart - this is the ending Joel deserves, living on a little farmhouse being taken care of and a reluctant chicken dad.
9. 167 notes - Aug 14 2023 - A Sunday Night Ramble (text post)
This was a late night epiphany - where I realised that I was trying to force writing and make my two OG series’ fit into more palatable moulds for others consumption rather than writing the story I wanted. It’s also a good reminder that it’s okay to take a break from something that isn’t currently serving you. If you come back to it two day later, two weeks later or never - it’s okay. You’re not beholden to anyone. This is all supposed to be fun first and foremost, if you’re not having fun then it may be time to step back and re-evaluate.
10. 166 notes - Aug 24 2023 - Drip (Joel)
I still get sad when I think about this piece. Like real sad. I don’t know if I could write something like this again now - or ever. I was well and truly in my feels with this one. I made the decision to watch a walkthrough of all the cut scenes of TLOU2 and it broke me. I knew what was coming, but knowing and watching were two different things. I do like that I left this one open to interpretation - meaning I can revisit one day if I want, so who knows.
NPT’s: @wildemaven, @gnpwdrnwhiskey, @rhoorl, @morallyinept, @frenchiereading, @maggiemayhemnj, @magpiepills, @goodwithcheese, @secretelephanttattoo, @sin-djarin, @ramblers-lets-get-ramblin, @undercoverpena, @nerdieforpedro, @linzels-blog, @for-a-longlongtime, @avastrasposts, @musings-of-a-rose, @mysterious-moonstruck-musings & anyone else who wants to play - consider this me tagging you in! Please tag me if you do it! I’d love to see! 🙌

We Don’t Have to Wonder if the Great Barrington Declaration Could Have “Worked”. In the Real World It Failed & Redefining Basic Medical Terms Won’t Change That. - Published Aug 23, 2024
Follow either link for the full article and associated videos!
Herd immunity occurs when enough people have immunity so that most infected people cannot find new uninfected people to infect, leading to the end of the epidemic/pandemic. The Great Barrington Declaration (GBD) was premised on the idea that the mass infection of unvaccinated “not vulnerable” people would end the pandemic. For it to have “worked”, 330 million Americans would have had to determine whether they were “vulnerable” or “not vulnerable” and then been willing to play their assigned role. That didn’t happen. In a previous article, I explained that for that reason, we don’t have to wonder if the GBD could have worked, in the real world it failed. However, this was not the only thing what actually went wrong with the GBD.
With this in mind, let’s turn to the concept of herd immunity.
What is herd immunity?
Herd immunity occurs when enough people have immunity so that most infected people cannot find new uninfected people to infect, leading to the end of the epidemic/pandemic.
That reasonable statement comes from the GBD itself. Even though SARS-CoV-2 was less than a year old when the GBD was written, its authors were certain that the simultaneous infection of 230 million unvaccinated, “not vulnerable” people would lead to herd immunity, protecting more “vulnerable” people. They said:
When herd immunity is reached, they (vulnerable people) can live normally again with minimal risks… If focused protection is used, it will likely only take 3 to 6 months.
In 2020, the GBD used the universally accepted definition of herd immunity. They discussed it with regards to new infections and the risk the virus posed to those without immunity to it. Herd immunity occurs when enough people have immunity so that most infected people cannot find new uninfected people to infect, leading to the end of the epidemic/pandemic. This wasn’t controversial at all. Everyone agreed with it.
While the GBD’s definition of herd immunity wasn’t in dispute, many people wisely doubted whether natural immunity alone could lead to herd immunity in under 6-months. Because babies aren’t born with natural immunity, humanity never achieved herd immunity to any virus through infections alone. Only vaccines can lead to herd immunity. Prior to the vaccine, for example, measles cases would rise and fall every couple of years as a new crop of newborns were infected. Herd immunity didn’t arise until the vaccine arrived and measles cases plummeted. There have been 214 cases this year, which is 214 too many, but thanks to herd immunity from the vaccine, measles cases are not rising exponentially. We will lose herd immunity if not enough children are vaccinated.
It is also not possible to reach herd immunity for a virus/vaccine that does not create durable immunity. Unfortunately, neither SARS-CoV-2 nor the vaccine does this, and reinfections were discussed by doctors in the mainstream media as early as September 2020, specifically in response to Dr. Scott Atlas’s pleas for herd immunity through mass infection. Watch the commentary of Dr. Sanjay Gupta in the second half of the video below as a reminder of what was known at the time.

Fiona’s Art Journal:
Table of Contents
Hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog!
As outlined here, my New Year’s Resolution for 2024 was to do something for my art every day. Whether writing, drawing, watching/studying, exploring or reading—I’d do something to sharpen my artistic focus daily.
As the year has gone by, I’ve documented some of the process on Tumblr. The tag “#Fiona’s Art Journal” has both reflections and artistic works, and “#Poetry” has an index of poems. This post is an index, and I’ll update it with hyperlinks to journals, art posts, and other favs.
NB: Aside from theatre and art posts, much of this blog is fandom posting about whatever (usually queer) media has most recently captured my interest. You can track various Strange New Worlds, Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Supergirl and House of the Dragon rotations (to name a few), along with other shows/movies on my list. I will probably spend the rest of 2024 crying about Agatha All Along (as WandaVision is an all-time favorite media & I’ve waited 2 years, since the night before I graduated undergrad, for Jac Schaeffer to fix this mess). I appreciate your understanding during this time, lol.

K’s 2023 Tumblr Top 10!! 🎉
Thanks to @evita-shelby for sharing this link so that I was able to do this top 10 list too - I was sad when I didn’t see the option for seeing my year in review, but love that I was able to see which 10 fics were my most seen/liked for 2023.
It’s really not a surprise that the majority of them were written when I had my last big spurt of inspiration….where I was able to write and post a handful of fics within the span of a few weeks. I can only hope for a few more strikes of that in 2024.
Here’s hoping that this new year is filled with many, many amazing fics … and that maybe I’ll finally open requests again!!
If you’re a fic writer/overall poster on tumblr and are curious to know what your top 10 posts are, there’s a link at the bottom of this post that should work.
ALSO - all gifs are not mine - if you want to see the creators of them, click on the links that will take me to the fics they’re used in. Proper credit is shown under them in the post.

fun fact this is what i used to find the ntlis excerpt earlier bc tumblr search would give me nothing, but I thought itd be neat to look at my most popular posts since tumblr doesnt actually tell u that info. All the most popular posts outside of #1 are from 2022 or earlier (pandemic era, lots of posting lots of reblogging) and one single post (a screenshot of my tweet making a topical gaylor reference AND a toe bearding gag at that. aged oddly!) was made pre-pandemic. I think the mcr homosexuality collage will only continue to move up the ranks as more pride months come and pass, same for the all I want for christmas quote. Will be sad when something eventually knocks of so theres this he/they, a real classic. I turned off notifs for the cannibalism joke immediately so I cant believe its at fucking 14 thousand notes it cant possibly be that funny. Thats all I got folks, im putting 6 and under in a read more bc this was gonna be obnoxiously long as is and now ive written a long winded paragraph and I cant do that to my dash. Have a good one i guess idk

Also, earlier this month, IDF dropped leaflets OUTING QUEER PEOPLE in Gaza. (Note: the account did not blur out the individual's name or details, which are written in Arabic.)

Let's take a second to talk about homophobia, transphobia, and colonization.
I studied Islam, Arabic, Middle Eastern history, Israel, Palestine, and LGBTQ+ rights for 2 years in graduate school. My focus was all over the place, for sure, but it means I have a lot of knowledge that I can offer on this stuff. I am w h i t e and not Muslim. I am both queer and transgender. This is something I'm incredibly invested in, so please enjoy this infodump.
The idea that queer and trans folks aren't welcome in Palestine is absolutely false. Multiple Gazans have talked about having trans or queer neighbors or friends and not blinking an eye. Obviously, mileage varies based on who you run into... just like it does in the good old US of A.
And? LGBTQ+ identities were openly and freely embraced before colonization fucked it up. Whether it's recent history or pre-colonization, this has been researched and well-documented.

This is just one reason why, when we have folks like Tom Daley calling for a ban on Olympians from countries who have both a history of experiencing colonization violence and struggling to undo that RE LGBTQ+ rights, it pisses me the fuck off.
If you do not know the history or the context, you're doing everyone a disservice.
Whether it's in Africa or the Middle East, w h i t e colonizers act like we're so much better than these countries - countries that did not generally have homophobia or transphobia until we entered and fucked them up.
Instead, we view them as "barbaric" and "savage" and all the other racist buzzwords.
Victoria Kishoiyian wrote a bit about this, specifically focused on Africa, for the Harvard Political Review in 2022:
Backward and Barbaric: How The Western Gaze Perceives and Portrays Homophobia in Africa
tldr; colonizers fucked up the world, not only by creating false countries and giving land to people not indigenous to the areas (like Is rael) BUT also because we introduced homophobia and transphobia.
Pinkwashing is just an extension of colonial practices, and it must stop. Now.
You're literally gay??? And it's pride month??? And Israel's our only safe haven in that region???
There's no pride in genocide

Upper Iowa Football Achieves Historic Success in 2024 Season
Photo Courtesy of Myah Brinker (Instagram: @myah.brinker.photography)
Written by: Hayden Sathe, UIU Collegian Staff
It was truly a phenomenal season for Upper Iowa football in 2024, as the team placed itself in the record books as one of the best teams that Upper Iowa University has seen in a long time.
In August, Upper Iowa entered its second season as a member of the GLVC after years of struggling to compete in the NSIC. Coming off a 3-8 season, Upper Iowa was picked to finish seventh in the conference in the GLVC Preseason Coaches’ Poll, placed ahead of only William Jewell and Lincoln University.
Fortunately, the Peacocks surprised many people by finishing the season 7-4 overall and going 6-2 in conference play, finishing tied for second in the conference with Truman State. While many outside of the team considered it a surprising breakout season, if you were to ask any member of the team, they would tell you that this season was no surprise at all.
Upper Iowa’s season started on Aug. 31, when the Peacocks traveled to Indianapolis to take on the Division I (FCS) Butler Bulldogs for their first-ever matchup with a Division I team. The team showed promise at first, but a rough second half led them to lose their first game 40-7.
On Sep. 7, the Peacocks came back to Fayette to face their old friends from the NSIC, Concordia St. Paul. The Peacocks took care of business, scoring two defensive touchdowns and winning their first home game 33-7. In week three, UIU traveled 12 hours to start a three-game road trip and to finish non-conference play against South Dakota School of Mines. This game was neck-and-neck from the start, but the Peacocks fell just short and lost 17-10.
Upper Iowa started off GLVC play on Sep. 21, hitting the road for a matchup in Bolivar, Missouri against Southwest Baptist. A late fourth quarter comeback propelled the Peacocks to a 21-7 victory, their first road win since October 2019. They continued their late fourth quarter success in the next game against Quincy, scoring 22 points to lead them to a 29-27 victory.
The Peacocks dropped their first conference home game against Truman State on Oct. 5 though, as their fourth quarter magic was not enough to come back against the Bulldogs, losing a close one by the score of 26-23.
The second week of October was homecoming week in Fayette and Upper Iowa’s football team was taking on the William Jewell Cardinals. The Peacocks had a strong first half, leading 24-6, before the Cardinals came marching back to take a 31-24 lead of their own. As all great homecoming games go though, it was the home team that got the last laugh in overtime, taking this one 38-31.
On Oct. 19, Upper Iowa hit the road once again to take on the newest members of the GLVC, Lincoln University (MO). The Peacocks took care of business early and coasted their way to a 31-3 victory, their third in three tries on the road in conference play.
This set up Upper Iowa for its biggest game in the school’s NCAA Division II history. Indianapolis was coming to town as the conference’s top team as the Peacocks sat just behind in second place. With just four weeks left in the regular season, there was a lot on the line in this one. Unfortunately, it was all UIndy in this game, as the visiting Greyhounds left Fayette with a 40-13 victory.
The Peacocks went into their bye week at 5-4 with two games to play and still plenty to play for. Following the bye, they hit the road for a final time to face off against the McKendree Bearcats. It took another fourth quarter comeback to win this rainy game, with the Peacocks taking the lead with 20 seconds left to win 28-24. Returning home to Fayette for Senior Day and the final gameday of the 2024 season the Peacocks played their best game of the season, dominating Missouri S&T 51-7 and outscoring the Miners 28-0 in the second half.
The Peacocks earned multiple postseason honors, with 16 players receiving All-Conference recognition. The lone Peacock named to the first-team All-Conference list was Rhett Smith (DT, Sr.). However, the second-team All-Conference list was filled with Peacocks, as Zacarius Murray (CB, Sr.), Michael Mulherin (LB, So.), Jayden Mitchell (RB, Sr.), Mante Morrow (WR, Jr.), Ben Kamara (CB, Jr.), Nathan Behne (K, Fr.), Trevor Thompson (LB, Sr.), Eddy Latanauskas (DT, Jr.), and Klay Seehase (OT, Jr.) were all honored. All-Conference honorable mentions went to Darryl Overstreet (QB, Jr.), Avery Dixon (CB, Jr.), RJ Wells (RB/P, Jr.), Nick Perry (OL, So.), Braden Powers (DL, Jr.), and Baxter Bohr (DL, Sr.). Congratulations to every member of the all-conference teams!
Several seniors concluded their Peacock football careers by leading the team to its best season as an NCAA Division II member: Tyler Owen (DB), Zacharius Murray (CB), Aboubacar Barry (RB), Jayden Mitchell (RB), Cam Williams (WR), Chris Ndushabandi (WR), Willy Camacho (WR), Connor Frasier (RB), Trevor Thompson (LB), Drake Kinney (OT), Tyler Nielsen (OL), Noah Schirmers (OT), Riley Kennow (OL), Isaiah Gray (TE), Chandler George (WR), Baxter Bohr (DL), Rhett Smith (DT), Deion Hicks (DT). Thank you, seniors, and best of luck in your future endeavors!
Some key accomplishments were achieved this season by the team, including the team notching its first seven-win season in the team’s Division II era. In the school’s history, this was the first seven-win season since 1997 and only the second since 1966. In just its second year in the GLVC, Upper Iowa football finished tied for second place in the conference.
This year's team also won the program's first road game since 2019, finishing 4-2 on the road overall, including a 4-0 mark on the road in conference play. This was the first season since 2017 that the Peacocks finished with an overall record and away record of above .500. They also scored 50-plus points in a game for the first time since 2017, as they capped off this highly successful season on Senior Day with a 51-7 win.
With all of the excitement at Harms-Eischeid Stadium this past fall, it’s hard not to look forward to next season already. Upper Iowa will be back into action for their first game of the 2025 season on August 28th against Drake University in Des Moines.
