Salvador Dalí, World's Fair, 1939
Declaration of the Independence of the Imagination and the Rights of Man to His Own Madness is the beginning of Dalí's Manifesto.
He was inspired to write it by the censorship he met with when designing his Dream of Venus Pavilion at the World's Fair.

I've mentioned this before, with a picture of my own (which I have no idea the whereabouts of right now): When you walked into the Seattle World's Fair in 1962, they'd give you this coin that was worth $1 which could be used at most of the attractions. Most of them were spent, probably recirculated a few times, and then likely melted down after the World's Fair ended... but a few did come home with people.
