I adore this recent trend (if that's the right word) of letting an orchestra play classical music on a festival. It's magical to see thousands of festival-goers going absolutely wild on Beethoven. Mosh/circlepits, crowd surfing. It's wonderful to see the orchestra and the audience having the time of their lives.

Su espectáculo se plantea como un “viaje afro futurista” para el cual crea vocalizaciones inspiradas en sus ancestros y mezcla sonidos del soukous congoleño, afrobeat y pop rock. The promotion of a K-pop event taking place in Israel ahead of a state-sponsored festival in South Korea has sparked outrage and calls for boycott from fans of the genre, who are accusing Seoul of "artwashing genocide".  The K-Pop World Festival, an annual Korean pop talent competition hosted by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), is an initiative that utilises the popularity of Korean culture - commonly referred to as the "Korean wave" - to promote the country globally. Korean embassies around the world are responsible for organising a preliminary regional round, and selected finalists then make their way to the stage in South Korea. After the South Korean embassy in Israel started promoting tickets for the 15 July auditions, K-pop fans took to social media in anger and called for boycotts with the hashtags #KpopFestivalOutWithZionism and #NoToArtwashingInKpop. "Artwashing in the middle of a genocide is a new fucking low, even for KBS. Participants and guest performers will never wash off this stain," posted one user on X, formerly Twitter, referring to the use of art and artists by groups to distract from or gloss over rights violations.

“NHK WORLD – JAPAN MUSIC FESTIVAL” ~ Magia

Today is the broadcast day of "Japan Music Festival". The first broadcast was a couple of hours ago so fans of already uploaded some footage online. Find the performance of "Magia" HERE on Bilibili. YK's entire appearance can be watched HERE.

Yuki Kajiura performs a special medley, including the main theme of Kimetsu no Yaiba, and (!!!)Magia(!!!) [featuring Hikaru!], the theme song to Puella Magi Madoka Magica, along with SOUKYUU NO FANFARE, the 10th anniversary theme song for Sword Art Online featuring special guests ASCA and ReoNA.

The next live broadcast on the official website is about to start in 20 minutes so be sure to tune in. The video will also be available on demand (free) for a couple of months so it will be possible to watch it as many times as you like.

Thoughts: Waaaaahhhh, Magia sounded amazing. I am so HYPED!!! Wish it had been longer T_T The main theme of Kimtesu no Yaiba was also a nice treat, I love Keiko SO MUCH in that song.

SAGAU Childe/Foul legacy finding out that his s/o(us) were a street racing back in our world!! And a great one at that yall!!

oh my goodness wait wait WAIT first you have to introduce him to vehicles in general!!!

listen, Childe does NOT know what a car is and neither does Foul Legacy. the only thing that comes close is the aquabus in Fontaine, and that's exclusively restricted to water travel (if you ask Childe, he thinks it's just a glorified high-tech boat) so to see a machine that easily take you where you need to go with just metal and a bit of gas, even more so one that's considered COMMON has your two boys completely in awe. unfortunately, Foul Legacy's too tall to fit inside, but Childe's more than willing to sit in the passenger's seat as you drive- it's absolutely exhilarating for him, especially when you go on the highway, and after you arrive at wherever you're driving to you have to sit for a few minutes because Childe's giddy and rapidly tapping his feet with a huge, wonderful grin

as for street racing, my goodness they both think you're so cool. genuinely, they think you're amazing because as much as they love the concept of cars, it also scares them a little because of how easily one wrong move can kill someone when driving, and the fact that you're handling your vehicle so easily is incredible. Childe REALLY wants to come along, but you refuse to let him put himself into danger even more, so he'll watch from the sidelines instead. Foul Legacy, on the other hand, is more concerned with making sure that you're safe. he'll mentally pull Childe away from the crowd and take control of their shared body, watching the cars from a distance until he can see yours, specifically keeping his eye trained on it for the entire race. he lets out a soft purr when it's done, shifting back into Childe to see you with other people. but don't worry, the moment you're home you'll feel claws wrap around your waist as you're scooped into Legacy's arms, rumbling and snuggling you as congratulations on a job well done
