Okay, so I just rewatched one of my favorite movies growing up, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, and...Just stay with me here before laughing that it made me think of Sterek.

So...Pack decides to go on a trip to Mexico, they're all running around in their wolf forms someone tranquilizes Derek thinking he's just a big dog, but the wolves don't notice anything until it's the next day and they realize their Alpha is missing, everyone is scared to tell Stiles that Derek is missing, so they try to hide it, Isaac goes back to Beacon Hills to find a picture of Derek in his wolf form and Erica & Boyd are with the task of distracting Stiles, Lydia and Kira so they won't notice Derek is gone.

Of course Stiles notices immediately that something is wrong 'cause they're acting fucking weird and Isaac isn't there with Boyd & Erica, and these 3 are almost never apart.

So Stiles cuts them on whatever they were saying and says "Okay, spit it out, what the fuck is wrong now?" Erica is the one who breaks first and says "We lost Derek, as in we can't find him" and Stiles, Lydia and Kira look at each other and then to Boyd and Erica and Lydia says "You guys are Werewolves...You could've followed Derek's scent..." Boyd and Erica look at each other and Erica facepalms and says "We panicked, okay? We knew we would be Werewolf barbecue if we just came here saying Derek is missing... So forgive us if we completely forgot we could just look for him with our noses!"

They didn't really need to look any further 'cause Derek walked through the door and said "I just got kind of kidnapped by some humans running a dog fight club or something but I'm fine now and the humans are in jail...They had some strong tranquilizer though, to knock me, an Alpha Werewolf, out..." and Stiles asks "You were wolfnapped. But are you 100% sure they were all humans? Like any hunters or something?" Derek shrugs and says "I couldn't smell any wolfsbane, so I think all of them were normal. Why?" Stiles shrugs and says "I don't know, it's just that it seemed so easy this time... 'Cause usually when one of us gets kidnapped there's always a hunter involved."

But seeing as we’re not, the least I can do is help you avenge her. And maybe call Thea for back up, since mentoring new wolves is kind of her shtick.”

Derek almost shrugged. "You didn't do it." He said. "It hurts, but it will get better." The fire had taught him that, and while he still had the occasional nightmare it was much better then it had been. A chuckle from him. "Before you commit you should know that there is a new werewolf involved." Derek said. "We at least know it's a wolf because it turned a boy." He couldn't let David just run into this without knowing Scott was also involved. "And I think there is at least one Argent around probably more. You know how they are."
