#With Aaliyah and Tia <3

Note
The Switch happening during the Upheaval is such a great idea because I'm guessing Aaliyah will still be injured from Ganon when she drops in front of Sweetpea.
She tries so hard to keep going, fights harder than her body can stand through pure will until the gloom finally knocks her out and Sweetpea decides to take this crazy Sheikah to Tia, only for her to be missing. (Like they have Blessed Fairy Elixirs and Sundelions and Mipha on hand so Aaliyah is much better off than Sage is in the immediate aftermath.) So poor Aaliyah wakes up to an imposter Link and several faces she knows are dead. I think the only way Aaliyah actually listens to anyone is Sweetpea pulling out the Master Sword (and even then it takes a while and only due to the fact she's bedbound for a bit to recover)
And maybe neither world suspects its a Switch, only that one important person is missing and another has appeared until Tia and Sage arrive in the Lost Woods to ask the Deku Tree and *insert Magic reason* all four are able to communicate briefly. Like through a faux vision when the Sages talk to the successors. They manage to figure out that Tia and Aaliyah switch so Tia and Sage decide to continue with the plot since defeating Ganon might switch them back while Aaliyah and Sweetpea decide to see if any of the Sages and Champions might know anything.
Sweetpea also stops by the Three Springs to pray to the Golden Goddesses for information. (Not Hylia since she's on both Tia and Sweetpea's Shit List)
(I see Hylia as like the immediate Supervisor of Hyrule while the big Three are like the CEO's of all Worlds. Still kinda to blame for everything but Hylia's the one who is supposed to be supervising Hyrule while They concentrate on the bigger picture. Honestly, I think Nayru or Farore would be to blame for this because they see the shitshow happening in Sage's world and are like "Well, Tia's already doing so well with her Hyrule, maybe she can help this Hero too :D." Tia would've liked to have been asked, but she'll forgive and forget so long as she can keep both of them.)
Since you said Aaliyah becomes the Sage of Spirit, perhaps when Sage and Tia hit the Thunderhead Islands (and that subsequent mission) that Aaliyah switches back.
But Tia doesn't.
(Fun fact, I accidentally hit Thunderhead Islands after only getting Tulin and I hated it so much :) I saw it was a Main Quest and left. Then I got curious and got Mineru anyway.)
I think the Switch happening during the Upheaval is really the only time it could happen. Because that's when our Feral duo are so injured and sick they can't do anything to atrocious to the poor souls they're soon exposed to. Sage is too disoriented from loosing a limb and the gloom squeezing his vital organs to truly be a threat to Tia (For now. Until he gets better. But by then she's earned his trust-- just a bit)
Aaliyah's gloom absolutely renders her at maybe a third of her fighting capacity. That does not stop her. She's going until there are veins of the dark matter crawling up her neck and cheek and shoulder, nearly infecting her brain until she collapses in a blaze of fiery glory. Sweetpea is just :O bc what just happened. Tia would know! But, surprise, surprise, Tia's not there. The Sundelions seem to have the most effect in helping reduce the markings, along with the sun, but I don't think Mipha or fairies would help much. Gloom seems like something more like a parasite rather than an injury. A piece of Ganon that's turning their body against them. That all to say that, yea, while it's not good, not even okay, Aaliyah does wake up better than Sage. There's still tons of Gloom in her system, as there are no light shrines in Tia's world, and if there are, she hasn't found them. She didn't have Rauru to tell her to look for them.
It's not helped when she has the faces of the dead looking down at her. She's convinced she's dead. That she failed Link once more. But this imposter has the Master Sword. Which was destroyed. But it's not destroyed here?
She probably tries biting him then and there, just for shits and giggles, before trying to escape. Bedbound is simply a recommendation to her.
(They get chains eventually. She bites them then too.)
It takes a while for either party to trust each other enough to travel, but the first place they go is the Lost Woods. The Deku tree probably looks at them and is like 'meditate here for just a sec' and BAM- they're now in that zen place the sages were when talking to their predecessors. It takes a woozy second before Sage and Aaliyah are spotting each other and immediately latching onto the other. Their person was here! Safe and sound and where are you?! This wasn't enough. It would never be enough until they knew the other was safe and sound and within reach at all times.
Sweetpea and Tia probably have their own reunion before trying to figure out what's going on.
Sage and Tia go on to focus on Ganon while Aaliyah and Sweetpea look for causes. Who were the Zonai and how could what they do affect them so badly over ten thousand years in the future?
(Honestly, yeah, that's kind of how I see it to. Like Hylia is the manager that keeps fucking up perfectly good employees and the CEO's are the ones having to fix it. Only they're so out of touch with their employees, they're taking one star employee and just plopping it where they hope she'll fit and taking out another moving part and making the whole system crash because of it.)
So, here's my thing with Aaliyah being the Sage of Spirit. I imagine the Thunderhead Islands are just these islands the remain out of the realm of time and space. Like they're there in both areas and if one side does something it happens on the other side. Kind of like in the beginning of TotK when Zelda takes the Master Sword? So her and Sweetpea go through that whole mission and Sage and Tia are just watching this mysterious statue open like "D:< WHAT THE FUCK-"
(Fun fact, I also accidentally hit those islands with only Tulin. Except it didn't even register to me that it was part of the main quest until I was back on the surface with my new giant killer robot.)

When Richard told you he had a break from touring, you were ecstatic. One, you’d get to see your crush best friend again after Lord knows how many months. Two, with Richard coming back, it meant seeing Aaliyah again. While he and Yocelyn were on good terms (they had to be, if only for Aaliyah’s sake), you weren’t necessarily close with her. Civil, but not close enough to get to see Aaliyah often. At this point, you weren’t sure who you’re more excited to see: Richuki or little Aaliyah. But really, you didn’t care; they were two of your favorite people on the planet, even if Richard did get on your nerves sometimes.
But before you could get ahead of yourself, you remembered him mentioning there was still some last-minute stuff to do. Thankfully it’d probably only last a day or so, but still. You wanted to see your best friend and his adorable little daughter, goddamnit. Then again, you suppose you should be thankful for this. With a little extra time, you’d be able to pull together a little surprise for him, preferably something that didn’t involve a club, despite you two meeting at one.
And that’s why you’re bustling around your kitchen at nine in the morning, your speakers playing one of the many podcasts related to your course that you subscribed to. Eggs, flour, and other baking essentials lay on the counter as you look for the new piping tips you’d just gotten a few days ago, having watched one too many YouTube videos of other bakers trying Russian piping tips. Yeah, probably not the best idea to try them out so soon, especially as part of your surprise for your best friend and his little princesa. You poked your head into one of the cupboards, rummaging through it because you swear you put those piping tips somewhere in a cupboard. Your fingers brush against a plastic bag, and you cheer upon seeing that it held your new piping tips.
That feeling of triumph was short-lived, however, when a knock resounded on your apartment’s door causes you to hit your head on the counter above. Ow.
With a few curses tumbling from your lips, you make your way over to the door, one hand rubbing your head as you try and school your features into something that won’t scare off whoever decided it was a good idea to knock on your door at 9 am. Settling for a somewhat-fake smile, you open the door, a polite greeting already on the tip of your tongue. Said greeting promptly dies when you make eye contact with an apologetic Richard and Aaliyah hugs your leg.
“Richuki?” He gives you a tiny smile as you bend down to pick Aaliyah up, giving her a squeeze in greeting.
“Hey shawty,” he says, and only then do you notice the bag he has with him.
“What happened?”
“Something came up with Yocelyn at the last minute, so…” He trails off, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why the two were here.
“I’m on babysitting duty?” You set Aaliyah down with a grin, watching her pad off to the kitchen, no doubt looking for any sweets you might’ve baked beforehand. Once you’re sure she can’t hear you, you turn back to Richard with a spark of panic in your eyes. “Dude, you know I don’t do well with kids.”
“I know, and it’s really on short notice, but c’mon, you love spending time with Aaliyah.” He gives you that look, the one that always convinces you to go along with whatever he’s got planned. It never failed him before, and it certainly didn’t fail now. The two of you hold eye contact for five seconds longer, if only for you to preserve your pride, before you look away with a sigh.
“Fine, fine,” you relent. “But–” Richard cuts you off with a hug before you could even finish your sentence, and butterflies suddenly explode in your stomach. Sure, you’ve hugged before, but it’s different now. It’s been months since you last saw each other, months since you realized that your feelings for him crossed the line of friendship, and this first affectionate gesture between the two of you wasn’t helping.
“I’ll see you two later okay?” Still dazed, you nodded, hoping that you weren’t visibly blushing.
“Yeah. Bye, Richuki.” He says goodbye to Aaliyah, who already found your Russian piping tips before giving you the bag you knew to be filled with several of his daughter’s things. Taking a deep breath, you shift the bag onto your shoulder before facing Aaliyah with a grin.
“Tia (Y/N)!” She has a piping tip clutched in one hand, and you kneel down to look at her.
“What is it, preciosa?” There’s a spark of curiosity in her eyes that’s eerily similar to Richard’s own, especially when you have something new in your arsenal of baking supplies, and you feel as if you know exactly where this is going.
“Que son estos?” Aaliyah holds up the piping tip for emphasis, and you couldn’t help but smile.
“They’re for making flowers, flores, on cupcakes,” you explain, taking it from her and showing the pattern of the holes on it. “See, you can make rosas with this one.” Her eyes widen, and goddamn if it didn’t remind you of your best friend.
“Can we try them, Tia? Por favor?” A chuckle slips past your lips as you shake your head, standing up and taking her hand before leading her to the kitchen.
“It’s still early, preciosa. Maybe later in the afternoon, si?” She pouts at that, but it disappears when you pick her up and set her down on one of the stools by your kitchen island. “For now, do you want breakfast?”
“Si! What are you making, Tia?” You watch her take in the array of baking supplies spread out on the counter, setting the piping tip down by the others as you grab a bowl and a whisk.
“I was thinking pancakes,” you tell her, and there’s no missing how she practically beams at the thought of it. One previous experience with your pastry and sweets skills had her completely in love, and Richard swears you’re trying to steal his daughter by bribing her with food.
(”You know I can’t grill worth shit, right?”
“Does it look like that matters to her? She loves sweets!”
“Richuki, you’re her dad. Even if she did love the desserts I make, she loves you more, you dramatic ass bitch.”)
The day passes by fairly quickly; you and Aaliyah having spent a good chunk of it in the kitchen. Breakfast turned into brunch after you two decided to have bacon alongside the pancakes, something you two would keep to yourselves. Yocelyn trusted you enough to let you hang out with her daughter, and Richard was so sure that you’d be a good babysitter that he actually left her with you. You, the one who’s had only one (horrific) experience babysitting a couple of your hellish cousins; you, the one who repeatedly swears up, down, left, and right that you’re not good with children, that you’d only be able to look after a child for three, maybe four hours, tops. And now that you’re slowly proving yourself wrong, you’re not keen on losing that trust that he put in you.
Not that you could, but it’s not like you knew that.
“Tia? Can we make cupcakes now?” Now it’s nearing 3:45 in the afternoon, and after you two poked the butter from all sides, you deemed it soft enough for both the cupcakes and the buttercream frosting you planned to test the new piping tips with.
“Si. Now c’mon preciosa, can’t have your clothes getting dirty or your Papa would never forgive me.” As it turns out, Aaliyah loved being in the kitchen, especially when you or Richard were making something. She also loved helping out, even if it meant getting messy, something all toddlers inevitably ended up as, no matter how much or how little they helped in the cooking/baking process. Of course, Richard loved to spoil her (who wouldn’t?) so he bought her a little apron to wear whenever she wanted to help.
Once both of you had your aprons on, you set her on the stool again, grabbing a mixing bowl, a wooden spoon, and a sifter for the dry ingredients. The stand mixer had been plugged in at least an hour or so ago, so really, it was mostly combining the ingredients that needed to be done.
Forty minutes and several clumps of spilled flour later, the cupcakes were finally in the oven. Normally it takes you half that time to finish the batter and scoop it into the lined muffin tins, but you and Aaliyah might have had a little too much fun messing with the flour as you were sifting it. You set the timer before picking Aaliyah up and carrying her to the bathroom, where you two spent a good five minutes wiping the flour off your faces and butter from your fingers. With that done, the two of you migrated to the living room, settling in front of your TV as you pull up Netflix and let her choose something to watch. Halfway through the episode–gracias a Dios that she didn’t pick something like Peppa Pig–, you realize that it’s time to make the frosting.
“Aaliyah, Tia’s going to go back and check on the cupcakes, okay? Wouldn’t want to burn them by accident, now would we?” Aaliyah nods, though you’re pretty sure most of her attention is on the TV, and you slip back to the kitchen to start on the frosting. The tell-tale ding from the oven comes just as you begin to mix the butter and vanilla together, and you grab a pair of oven mitts before pulling the tin out.
The smell of chocolate fills the air, and if not for the fact that the cupcakes literally just got out of the oven, you would’ve bitten into one, a mistake you made fun of Richard for making several years ago. Ah, memories. But now’s not the time to lose focus; you still had frosting to make after all.
With the cupcakes cooling in the tin, you turn back to the mixer, adding the powdered sugar before you grab the piping tips, some food coloring, and a couple of your pastry bags. Honestly, it doesn’t take long before the buttercream is firm enough for you to pipe it, so you get a spatula and shovel it into the bag.
“Aaliyah! C’mon preciosa, it’s time to frost!” But before that, you lay out a sheet of parchment paper so you could practice using the new piping tips. You made two different colors for the frosting: pink, because you know your goddaughter would love it, and green for the leaves. Yes. Frosting leaves for frosting flowers. Of course, you set aside some uncolored frosting to put on the cupcakes before you piped the rest on, so you hand Aaliyah a mini spatula of her own and show her how to spread the frosting on top. Once that was done, you pick up one of the bags–the one with the rose-like tip–and start piping, showing Aaliyah the flower that came out.
“Tia, it’s so pretty!” Her eyes sparkle and you smile, piping more flowers around it before grabbing the green frosting to make the leaves. Time passes by fairly quickly, and before you realize it, Richard already let himself in with the keys you hid behind the funny little owl clock in the hallway.
“Daddy!” Aaliyah’s the first to notice him, and you nearly drop the cupcake you were frosting when she yells. Nearly being the keyword here; you’d have a private mini breakdown if you actually did drop it. Richard’s quick to make his way to the two of you, ditching his jacket on your couch as a smile lights up his face.
“What are you two doing?” He asks, and you hold up both hands to show him the cupcake and the frosting as Aaliyah told him about your day. Soon, you realize that they left to go into the living room, probably some time after you began to really focus on the little details that you added onto the cupcakes. Too bad you ran out of edible gold-leaf; it would’ve made them stunning. Oh well, they’re beautiful enough as they are though. The layer of plain buttercream you and Aaliyah set down really made the colored frosting pop, and you smile as you arrange them on a plate.
“Cupcakes are done!” You call out, wiping your hands on your apron before snapping a picture with your phone. Ah, those are definitely going on Instagram. Hell, you might even tag Chris and Erick just to see their reactions; those two loved your desserts almost as much as Aaliyah did.
“Damn, (Y/N), these look good.” You nearly jump out of your skin when he speaks, and you shoot him a scowl, whispering that he should watch his language, even if his daughter was too busy staring at the cupcakes.
“I’m hoping they taste better than they look,” you quip back, gesturing to your flour-covered apron. “Aaliyah and I didn’t get to taste the batter before we baked them, isn’t that right, preciosa?” Sure you may have broken one of the cardinal rules of cooking and baking (taste everything, even the batter), but you weren’t going to risk little Aaliyah eating more batter than you would’ve allowed.
“Then we should have a taste to see if they are, right baby?” You’d be lying if you said your heart didn’t melt every time Richard and Aaliyah interacted with each other, and you’d be the biggest liar if you claimed not to think that this was way too domestic for two best friends. To an outsider, it would definitely look like you two were dating, but... You’re not. As much as it pains you to acknowledge it, it’s the truth. You and Richard were just friends, and nothing more.
But he’s a good friend, possibly the best you’ve ever had, and he notices when your face falls a little, sees that tiny crease between your brows that always appears when you think of something that wasn’t really positive. And as your friend, he’s quick to drag your mind away from such thoughts, pushing a cupcake up to your lips. When you blink in surprise, he snickers, smearing buttercream all over your lips before taking a bite of the cupcake. There’s a minute scowl on your face at his actions (the audacity to use your own creation against you, honestly), but it disappears as you lick your lips. It’s the same recipe as you’ve always used, but damn if it doesn’t taste a little better now.
Meanwhile, Richard almost moans at how good both the cupcake and the frosting are. Maybe it’s because he hasn’t had your desserts in months or maybe because they really are better than most of the restaurants he’s been to, but there was something about them that tasted so much better than before. Dare he say it, dare he think it, but the cupcake, this little moment with you and his daughter in your messy kitchen as a children’s show plays in the background, this almost feels like home. A sharp poke to his side shatters his reverie, though he can’t help but look at you in a new light when you grin at him.
“Come on, Richuki. Comamos mientras vemos la TV, yeah? Aaliyah quiere terminar el espectáculo.” You don’t wait for him to reply, helping Aaliyah off the stool with one hand as you balance the plate of cupcakes with the other. He’s quick to follow, snagging a cupcake or two off the plate for him and Aaliyah to eat as you set it down on the coffee table.
Over the course of a dozen and a half cupcakes, the three of you watch the show that Aaliyah picked out, and one of you two would turn to her to ask for some context behind it. There wasn’t much of an answer from her though, she always shushed you both before you could finish asking. And as the orange light from the late afternoon sun turned dimmer and dimmer until night fell, you felt nothing but a quiet contentment, spending time with your best friend and your goddaughter.
Maybe this wasn’t how you planned to spend the day, but it was infinitely better than what you originally intended. Who knew cupcakes would make everything so much sweeter?

Hasta La Muerte // Chapter Four
Warnings: A little violence and blood
Word Count: 2.2k
Note: Not my gif! Also this chapter has way more action than the previous chapters, and you see more into the mob side now. I hope yall like it!
Introduction / Chapter One / Chapter Two / Chapter Three / Chapter Four
Tumblr media
You sat there in the booth, laughing with your two other friends and eating the breakfast you usually ordered every time you came. He sat at the table in the corner, slowly sipping on his coffee and occasionally looking down at the newspaper in his hand so it wouldn't be obvious that he was watching you. He kept his head low and his green eyes masked with the baseball hat. Funny, you never bothered to look in his direction, almost as if you forgot everything your family taught you and kept your all of your attention on the things your friends were telling you. But he did this every time you went out with your friends, he was getting tired of his job. You became boring to him, you did the same routine and there was no point in watching you anymore. You did nothing for the mob except you were a weakness to Richard and Yashua, and that was the only thing they could ever use.
"No way. You have a boo?" He overheard one of your friends ask you and it piqued his interest. Who could you be dating? You smile at her question, your head slowly shaking. You pushed some of your hair behind your ear, a habit you had when you were trying to avoid something.
"We're just seeing each other for now. But it's actually going pretty good," You tell them before taking a long sip of your coffee.
"So when are we going to meet this mystery man that snatched you up?" Your other friend asked. You shrug your shoulders and picked at some eggs on your plate.
"Come on, at least tell his name," She tries to pry out of you. He leaned forward to hear better, pretending to get some cream and sugar from the container across the table from him.
"His name is Christopher," You answer. He raised his eyes at you when he heard the name. Why were you with Christopher? What was the point of your relationship with Christopher? He quickly looked down when both of your eyes met, standing up and throwing a couple of dollars on the table and making his exit. You shift your attention back to your friends as he left.
He walked down the street as fast as he could, avoiding the gazes of everyone on the busy street and pulling out his phone. He quickly typed the text with all the information he was able to get and send it to Santiago.
It's her and she's with Christopher
~
You brush your fingers through his soft hair, trying your hardest not to wake him while you did so. His arms lay at your sides, you could hear the soft snores escape his lips while he rested his head on your bare chest. The sun was just beginning to set, the orange glow that seeped into the room made his features look warm and soft. You just lay there for a few minutes, hands playing with his hair while you admired how he looked while he slept. You just wanted to let him sleep for longer, but you knew that you both needed to eat and get dressed before Richard dropped Aaliyah off for the night.
"Chris," You whispered. You removed one hand from his hair and moved it down to his shoulder, giving it shakes. "Wake up," You said but this time louder. He groans at your action, nuzzling his neck deeper into your chest. You laugh at his action, your hand moving up to his face and poking his cheek.
"Y/N," He whined, turning his cheek to the other side to avoid you poking his cheek again.
"I'm hungry. And Aaliyah is going to be dropped off soon." You respond. He didn't say anything to you, instead, he just grabbed your hand from where it was and moved it back to his hair.
"Five more minutes," He tells you. You slowly tug at his hair. Just being here with him felt good. You never allowed yourself to do this, you only ever had one night stands and even those were rare for you. Chris slowly opened his eyes and adjusted his head so he was looking up at you. You smiled as his warm brown eyes found yours, you found them so comforting sometimes.
"Can we eat now?" You ask impatiently for food.
"Mamita we ate lunch like 3 hours ago," He tells you and laughs at you. You could feel the vibrations of his laughter, contagious and making you laugh too.
"Yeah but we had sex and basically burned it all off," You explain yourself. Chris uses his arms that were laying at your side to push himself up, slowly making himself up to your face.
"How about we burn some more?" He pushes his lips against yours as he finishes his question. God how you loved his warm lips. Your tongue found his bottom lip, licking it slowly until he decided to let you in. Your warm tongues ran along each other, falling into the familiar patterns that you guys did almost every time you kissed. You slip your tongue out and suck on his bottom lip before pulling away.
"Aaliyah is going to be here soon, and I want to eat," You whisper, pushing him off of you and onto his side of the bed. He watches as you stand up, running his eyes up your bare body. He loved when you walked around naked like that, he loved looking at your butt and admiring your curves. But it was quickly interrupted as you threw a pair of boxers at him.
"Chris, take a picture it'll last longer. Now get up!" You tease him, quickly slipping into a pair of shorts and one of your oversized shirts.
"Then come here so I can take a picture baby," He tells you, and at his words you let out a laugh. You turn around to see him sitting up on the bed, still naked and still staring at you.
"Never in a million years. And get dressed will you?" You tell him before walking out of your bedroom and into the kitchen.
"Fine but can you make some tacos!" Christopher shouts out at you, throwing the covers off him and standing up. He slipped into the boxers you had thrown him earlier and a pair of sweats before walking to the kitchen.
You were pulling out all of the ingredients to make Christopher's request, making sure it was enough for the both of you and Aaliyah. You seemed to do it in a paced movement, moving from the fridge to the counter to the stove, all efficient. You seemed so focused on doing what you were doing, cooking the meat and putting the tortillas to heat on the stove. He doesn't know how long he was standing there, watching the process of your cooking unfold before him but he enjoyed it, it reminded him so much of home.
"Babe, can you please chop up the onion and cilantro?" You ask him, looking at him over your shoulder.
"Of course nena," He responds, walking over to the onion and cilantro you had left on the counter. He picked up the knife and the onion, focused on dicing it up and ensuring he wouldn't cut himself. It was a memory for him to cook like this, he hadn't done it in a while. He was always at work with Richard, and if he wasn't then he was out at the club and taking girls to get dinner. But here he was with you, the girl who managed to give him a memory of home. He remembered when he used to do this with his mother and grandma, it brought many memories to him.
"Chris, are you okay?" You place a hand over his on the knife, stopping him from continuing his action. You noticed how quiet and relaxed she got when he started chopping. He turned to you, a small smile gracing his face. He nodded for a quick moment before leaning down to place his lips against yours. But it wasn't the fast and lust-filled kiss you both always shared together, this one was slow and sweet. You removed your hand that was over his and moved it to his hip while his hand found your cheek, pulling you closer. You pulled away and he laid his forehead against yours.
"Thank you." He whispers, closing his eyes and taking in the moment the two of you were sharing. You didn't want to ruin it either by asking questions, so you just stood there embracing him.
"Whatever I did, you're welcome." You respond and place a light peck on his lips before you hear the loud knocking on the door. You pulled away from the embrace you were in with Chris and quickly stepped over to the front door.
"Tia!" You heard the shout of the little girl as she threw herself from Richard's arms to yours. You caught her quickly and fixing her on your hip.
"Hi," You greet her giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. You look up from her to see Yashua and Richard burst in and giving you a quick kiss on the cheek, mumbling a quick hello.
"Here's Aaliyah's overnight bag. I will pick her up tomorrow, now both of you better be on your best behavior," You hear Richard explain to you. You laugh at how serious your older brother was being.
"Rich, she has stayed the night with me before. In plus we're already plotting," You respond while grabbing the bag from his hand and tossing it over to the couch. Richard rolls his eyes at you while Yashua silently agrees with you from behind Richard's back.
"Bye, princess. I'll see you in the morning," Richard whispers to the little girl, placing a kiss on her forehead before turning and pushing Yashua out of your apartment, shutting the door behind him.
~
The keys were heavy in his hand, turning the ring of the keys around his fingers. His dark curls fell over his face, the bandana he wore only barely keeping them in place, one leg straight and the other placed against the car as leaned against the black SUV hearing the wheels rub against the gravel as Zabdiel and Erick pulled up to their location.
As soon as the car had come to a stop, Erick hopped out and fixing his leather jacket while stepping closer to Joel. Zabdiel rolled his eyes at both men, turning the engine off and running a hand through his cropped blonde hair and gathering with the boys.
"What's the situation?" Zabdiel and Erick question Joel who led them to the door of the warehouse. He pushed it open and allowed Zabdiel and Erick to slip in before quickly shutting it closed.
The warehouse was mostly dark, only lit by the few lights that seemed to only light the path to the room. Joel faced both of his men before nodding his head in the direction of the room that held the man. Zabdiel and Erick's eyebrows furrowed in confusion for a moment until it clicked why they were here.
"Romeo is in there. Apparently, he's been working with Santiago the whole time we were doing business," Joel explains to both of the men.
"I thought Romeo left?" Erick asks. He was now confused, Richard had informed all of them that Romeo had gone back to Colombia.
Joel nodded at the boy biting his lip for a moment before explaining. "We thought he did. But he was hiding out with Santiago. Yashua and Chris got him when he was trying to steal from us."
"Well then why didn't Yashua and Chris just kill him?" Zabdiel questions.
"Because we need him. He has information about a possible attack on us, and we need to know what he knows about Santiago." Joel answers. "Come on," He adds. The boys start walking in the direction of the room, Joel once again opening the door and shutting it once they all entered.
He sat there, on a chair with his arms and legs bound to it, he had duck tape over his mouth which protected it from the blood that ran down from his nose all over his neck. When he spotted the boys he pulled at the knots that trapped him there, muffled grunts escaping his body. Zabdiel leaned over and ripped the tape off of Romeo's face, leaving a red mark behind.
"You can give up everything about Santiago the easy way or the bloody way," Joel explains to the bound man. He crossed his arms and eyed him down knowing that he would never give up information that easy.
"Santiago won't let you get away with this," Romeo says, voice hoarse from all the grunting and lack of hydration. Zabdiel scoffs at the words, throwing a punch at the man in the chair. His fist making harsh contact with his cheek, Romeo turned his head with the contact, moving his lower jaw at the pain and spitting out the blood at Zabdiel's feet.
"And what's Santiago going to do?" Erick asks, his normal bright green eyes darkened as he sent glares to the man standing tall. Romeo scoffed at the younger boy, letting a menacing laugh.
"He has plans, big plans for all of you, just wait."

Chapter 5
Words: 4,000+
Warnings: hardly even bad language in this chapter. I know, I’m surprised too.
A/N: I’ve been super busy lately, so I’m sorry for the delay but I appreciate you all still reading. any feedback at all you have is so so appreciated.
chapter 1 is here chapter 2 is here chapter 3 is here chapter 4 is here if you need to catch up.
The clear gel was shockingly cold against he skin as the sonographer rubbed it over Isa’s protruding belly. She winced at the uncomfortable feeling but smiled as Kaja eagerly shook her left hand. You would think that she was in the delivery room from the way she was flanked by her friend and mother-in-law holding her hands so tight. They stared at the monitor intently, anxious to see live what they have so far only seen in printed pictures. Noemi tore her eyes away from the screen for a quick moment before she looked down to investigate Isa’s whimper. “You okay, Isabella?” Isa nodded. “Fine. It just feels weird.” She didn’t recall ever seeing Kaja smile so widely. “This is so exciting,” she squealed. “I let you come and see last time with Joaquin,” Isa laughed. She shrugged, but her enthusiasm couldn’t be contained. “It doesn’t mean it’s any less exciting. It’s a new little baby I can’t wait to meet.” Noemi’s voice was quiet but Isa saw her eyes smiling. “My baby is having another baby.” “You still really want the gender to be a surprise?” Kaja whined. “We won’t tell Zabdiel. Swear.” Noemi didn’t echo the sentiment, but her smile told Isa enough that she didn’t need to. She was waiting just as anxiously. “He wants to wait until the baby is here to find out,” Isa answered simply. “And what about you?” Noemi prodded. Isa bit her lip, trying to contain her smile and clearly failing. Kaja’s jaw dropped and she chided her, “She knows! She knows and she won’t tell any of us!” Isa blushed and averted her eyes, her secret out. Noemi patted the hand of hers she was holding and smiled. “Well, if she does, that’s her choice. Her pregnancy is her journey and everything involved is her decision.” Kaja rolled her eyes. “But do I get to buy tutus or soccer jerseys for my new niece or nephew?” she groaned. “Buy onesies with CNCO printed all over them and the baby will wear them either way. Anything Dolce & Gabbana, we'll be good,” Isa suggested. Kaja grunted lightly in disapproval. “I’m gonna bribe the nurse. I’ll get you to spill eventually. I’ll figure it out somehow.” Isa chuckled. “Good luck.” The sonographer moved the transducer over the gel coating her stomach. “Alright, Mrs. de Jesus, we’re going to try to get a good look and check on our baby here, okay?” Isa nodded and fixed her eyes to the monitor to see whatever fuzzy monochrome images of her daughter would come on the screen. “It’s a girl,” Kaja concluded aloud. “How do you figure that?” Isa questioned, still scanning the screen for when she’d appear. “You can’t even see the baby yet.” “If it was another boy, you would have told us already,” she surmised. “Zabdiel would be over the moon if he had another little boy. The only reason he wouldn’t want to think about it would be because he's scared it’s a girl.” “You can have your theories,” Isa answered. “And if I was wrong, you would have told me right now that I’m crazy,” she added. “Well you’re crazy regardless,” Isa joked. “It could be another boy,” Noemi murmured. “It could be that since it’s what we expected that we have nothing surprising about this time around so they’re waiting until he’s here.” “Like I said,” Isa went on, “have your theories. But you’ll find out when the baby is out. Zabdiel wants a surprise, it’ll be a surprise.” Kaja rolled her eyes and giggled. “And since when do you listen to what Zabdiel has to say?” “Kaja,” Noemi warned lightly. Kaja winked. “It’ll be more of a surprise to him if everyone knew but him, don’t you think?” "Well right now,” Isa interjected, “all that’s gonna show on the screen is an empty stomach. I’m starving.” Noemi tapped her daughter-in-law’s hand gently. “Jasmyn is going to meet us with Aaliyah and Miguel for lunch in half an hour. We’ll get you and the little one in here something to eat, don’t worry.” “Okay, Mrs. de Jesus, the heartbeat sounds wonderful,” the sonographer interrupted gently. “The baby isn’t breech like Dr. Kirkpatrick believed, so that’s good. The doctor will be in momentarily to review this and get you going.” Noemi wiped a tear from beneath her eye, staring at the wriggling figure of the little fetus. “Mira a la carita… Looks like my baby as a baby… I can no wait to meet you, amor.” She kissed the tips of her index and middle finger and touched them to the small screen, immediately apologizing for the smudge as the doctor walked into the room. The doctor examined Isa, reviewed how the baby was developing, and sent them on our way, but not without the three extra copies of sonogram prints Noemi asked to bring home with them. It wasn’t a far trip from the obstetrician’s office to the restaurant where Jasmyn was meeting them with Miguel and Aaliyah for lunch. “Tia Isa,” Aaliyah yelled, beaming. “Hola mi vida,” Isa said, kneeling and hugging her tight, careful not to lose her balance. “¿Donde esta Tio Zabdiel?” she asked, shifting into her booster seat. “He’s at the studio with Papi,” Jasmyn said softly. “We’ll see him tonight.” She reached for the crayons on the table and began to color the paper placemat. “I draw a picture for him.” Jasmyn ended the embrace with Noemi and kissed both Isa’s cheeks. “How did everything go at the doctor with our little… Niño? Niña?” “Save it,” Kaja interrupted, “She won’t tell you. She won’t tell any of us.” Jasmyn smirked, touching the top of Isa’s stomach. “Una niña. I can tell.” “Sientanse, chicas,” Noemi urged, clicking the buckles of the restaurant high chair she had secured Miguel into. “We never really have time to enjoy with each other. Please, sit.” Isa scanned over the menu as Jasmyn stirred her straw absentmindedly in her glass. “So if you won’t tell us whether the baby is a boy or girl, can you at least tell us what you were hoping for? Or what Zabdiel’s hoping for?” “A healthy baby,” Isa answered, still reading the options rather than looking at her. “The politically correct answer,” Jasmyn groaned with a roll of her eyes. “The truth,” Isa insisted. Jasmyn smiled now but bounced anxiously. “I know but I’m just so excited.” “You’ll find out eventually,” Isa giggled, rubbing up and down her forearm comfortingly. Aaliyah scribbled in wild blue circles over a stick figure she’d created on the paper. “And here is the baby in Tia Isa’s belly- azul porque es un niño.” Kaja smirked knowingly and tapped her nails against the side of her water glass. Isa giggled, not even looking up from her menu. "I didn't tell her anything, so whatever she's saying is pure speculation.” Kaja narrowed her eyes at me. “That’s exactly what you want me to think.” Once they ordered their food, the conversation went around in small circles, always about the same. The new album, Isa’s pregnancy, and Aaliyah please don’t do that. Isa tried to focus on helping her niece with her scribbles, avoiding Noemi's glance. As much as she adored her mother-in-law and all she did for her, it caused the guilty sensation in the pit of her stomach to swirl. If she could hardly look her husband in the eye most of the time, she could much less look at his mother. Isa’s focus fell to her water glass, staring at it blankly as her thoughts began to race. She didn’t deserve the de Jesus family and how they put her on a pedestal, even though her husband didn’t. Zabdiel had his usual turn around since the last time they’d had sex. First he tried to be more physically affectionate, but grabbing her around her waist from behind and kissing up her neck felt more like trying to initiate round two than just wanting to be close and remind her that she was loved. Most everything he tried was rebuffed for that reason alone. Then he quickly backslid into the typical actions of only the most basic of attention necessary to get through the day, more quiet in her presence, gradually turning into almost nothing at all. There were the sporadic hills in between- an attempt at affection and then absence again - but the lull of nothing was the longest and the most threatening. Isabella’s phone vibrated in her pocket, reminding her that it’d been two minutes since it first had alerted her to a text from Christopher asking how the appointment went and hoping she was having a nice time out. Isa didn’t want to unlock it and see that there was nothing unread from Zabdiel showing any concern about her or the pregnancy at all. For her family, friends, and the sake of his fame, Isa pretended to be happy. She was absolutely miserable. She was with someone she was falling, maybe had already fallen, out of love with and was in love with someone she couldn’t be with. The little girl inside her womb wiggled and she’d usually be distracted and entranced with her movements but Isa just gulped down the knot in her throat and sat unmoving. “Isa,” Kaja murmured, tugging gingerly on her elbow. “Are you alright?” Isa snapped from her daze. “Hmm?” “Come on. Come with me to the bathroom,” she pleaded in a way that made it seem like a suggestion but Isa knew better. “Sure,” she replied, struggling over her belly bump to right myself in the chair before following her into the restroom. “You looked completely spaced,” she said once the door behind them had shut. “Do you feel sick? Are you okay?” Isa’s frustration and despondence had clouded over her usual exaggerated answer of “oh, of course, everything is fantastic.” She ran her hands under the warm water of the faucet only to splash her face with it afterwards. “Take a minute,” Kaja urged, watching her as if she was a bomb set to explode and she was taking note of how much time remained on the clock. “Just frustrated,” Isa murmured. Telling the girlfriend of one of her husband’s bandmates wasn’t exactly going to keep any exposed detail secret for long. Telling her friend was almost a given, as studying her expression told her almost all she needed to know without her say. “They said at the appointment that everything is okay with the baby. Is something going on with Zabdiel?” Isa was so accustomed to the fake smile and answer for everyone else, but not her. Isa didn’t answer with words but she was sure the falter in my face gave it away. Kaja sat on the counter beside the row of sinks. “Talk to me.” “He’s just been so distant,” Isa offered finally. “He only seems to want to be around me to have sex and nothing else. We don’t talk, we don’t love, we just… are here. He doesn’t engage about the baby unless he’s prompted to and I just worry that while I thought everything was coming together that we’re falling apart.” She jumped down from the ledge immediately and pulled her friend into a hug. “I’m so sorry, bean.” Isa bit back the tears that threatened to fall. She had no right to be sad or upset. If the whole story came to the surface, she was the villain. She couldn’t blame Zabdiel for not wanting to touch the same places where Christopher had. At the same time, the less that Zabdiel wanted to hold he, the more alluring being in Christopher’s arms became. Kaja took a paper cup from the dispenser on the wall and filled it with tap water for her to sip and calm down. “The work on the new album has been rough on all of them,” she suggested gently. “I know they've all been away from home more than we’d like. I don’t think he’s doing it maliciously.” Christopher had the same schedule and he made time for Isa when Zabdiel found reasons to be somewhere else. “I know. He just seems to be busy when I know the band has downtime. It just makes me wonder.” Kaja arched her eyebrow as Isa sipped the water. “You think he’s cheating on you?” Isa nearly spit out her drink. “What?!” The idea itself wasn’t preposterous. The fact that she had been so obsessed with her own affair to entertain the idea that her husband was having one of his own was. “Oh, no, Zabdiel isn’t like that. None of them are. I just thought that was what you were insinuating,” Kaja explained quickly. Isa tried not to scoff. None of them are? Kaja didn’t know them as well as Isa did, clearly. But no one knew Christopher like Isa did. “No, I just think he’s lost interest in me, and trying to do all the stuff for the baby with everyone being excited about us being this happy couple… It just isn’t real anymore and it’s frustrating.” “It’s hectic now, but I promise it’ll get better.” Kaja hugged Isa tighter, forgetting the cup and squishing it between them. Kaja eventually brought Isa back out to have lunch, but even though she was eating for not just herself, she couldn’t even fake an appetite. Noemi’s concern was quiet but obvious. Isa knew she’d hear something about it later, but her nerves wouldn’t allow her to do anything now in peace. Noemi scrutinized her plate. “Everything okay, Isa? You had said how hungry you were.” “The baby is just making me nauseous,” Isa said with a shrug. Noemi nodded in acknowledgment but Isa knew she wasn’t buying that completely. Never to stop for a moment, preparations immediately began when they returned for dinner- Noemi had decided a long day at the studio was going to be celebrated by a small feast Isa wanted no part in making. Her apprehension was easily excused as pregnancy fatigue, so she was able to sit and hear all about her son’s day out with Tio Carlos when he returned with Zabdiel’s brother about an hour later. Half an hour after that, the cars began filling the driveway and the prickling crawl of anxiety traveled up her spine. The dread of dealing with this feeling of impasse with her husband was always overshadowed by the thrill of knowing she would see Christopher’s honey eyes, but the two sensations mingled like a sweet tasting poisonous cocktail. It tasted amazing but God was it going to be the end of her. The only greeting she got from Zabdiel was a wave and a wink while he hugged their son and his brother in turn. That was fine by her when Christopher entered the room instead and hugged her close. “Hola, preciosa,” he said with his signature smirk. “¿Como estas?” His lips grazed her cheek and Isa tried to hide that she shuddered. “¿Como fue la cita con el doctor?” Her blood ran cold as Krista followed in behind them and grabbed Christopher’s hand. She was immediately too nauseated to recall the question. Noemi poked her head in the room to grab all of their attention. “Ya, a comer, todos! La cena está lista! Y Chris, no te preocupes, yo tengo los fotos.” She did a small dance as she walked into the dining room, giddy about anything she could share about her newest grandchild. Dinner was the same as lunch, the same circular conversation only with the band being able to share more about the new music. When Erick started talking about the captivating melody on the latest track that was composed entirely by Zabdiel, it was the first time in the longest that Isa had seen a proud smile grace his lips. She clasped her hand over his knee in supportive comfort and he squeezed her hand in return. Isa didn’t need to look in Chris’ direction to know that seeing her interact with her husband meant his gaze was on fire. The table had started debating on whether they were Team Niño or Team Niña when Isa got up to begin washing dishes and not have to listen to the same repetitive talk- that everyone knew more about what was happening in her belly than she did. She was so on autopilot trying to clean to relax my anxiety that she hadn’t heard Zabdiel approach from behind and kiss her cheek as his arms wrapped about her waist. “Y ¿a donde tu vas, hermosa?” The endearment made a smile flash on her face. “Tengo que lavar los platos, amor. Me voy a la cocina.” “Despues, cielo. Relajate,” he reasoned. “Come back- sit with me. I missed you all day.” Her eyebrows furrowed. Missed her? “¿De veras?” “Claro que si,” he answered, pressing another kiss to the crown of her head. “Yo no quería molestarte cuando estaban almorzando con ellas pero yo estaba pensando en la cita con el doctor todo el dia. Yo siempre pienso en ti, pero… Hoy te extrañé mas, yo no sé.” He spun her around in his arms and pressed his forehead to hers. As Isa gazed into his chocolate eyes, she realized how lucky she was. Her husband was, indeed, gorgeous. His chiseled features made him look like some sort of Greek God come to Earth. His tan skin was smooth and flawless, and his eyes were piercing. It wasn’t that he appeared cold, but he could touch your soul by just glancing at you once. That was what scared her most- she hoped he couldn’t see through her. There was not a moment of every day that she did not try to analyze the reason she did what she did before the shift in our relationship occurred, before they were so far apart when they were next to each other; who could ask for more from this perfection? Apparently she did. During the moments of frustration, Isa could put the blame on him in her mind. He has been avoiding her, he has been distancing himself, he’s pushed her away. But in moments like this when she saw him trying to reignite the spark, she knew she was the wind immediately extinguishing the flame and the guilt was unbearable. “Te amo,” he murmured. The thought of it killed her. This was the man she had promised her life and unwavering devotion to, and Isa couldn’t say the same to him. He had said he’d treasure her forever, and she could barely talk to him at all anymore because the shame she felt made her feel even more ill than she already was. This alone was more genuine attention than he’d shown her in weeks, and she didn’t want to turn that possibility away this time. But then again, it raised doubts. Did he truly love her? He could say it- he said it over and over. But actions speak louder than words and when was the last time he proved it? Could he just have had a little too much to drink and be talking nonsense? Was Kaja on to something - that his distance was due to him being comforted by another woman? His smile took her breath away and her racing thoughts came to a halt. Unable to reply, Isa kissed him tentatively. He gently took soft, slow, intoxicating drags on her lips, gasping at the feel of her against him. Isa slid her fingers down his cheek and his hand gripped the side of her waist. She wasn’t used to any genuine display of affection from him, and the renewed feeling was such welcomed attention that she leaned into him and reciprocated. Krista carefully slid the door open, more dishes in her hands, softly clearing her throat until they separated. “Hey, we were wondering where you two had gone.” “Why? ¿Qué pasó?” Zabdiel asked. “Noemi needs you.” Zabdiel walked out of the room and Krista glanced at Isabella. “You know,” Krista pointed out, “you’re lucky to have someone that cares about you so much.” Isa shook her head, not thinking that she heard her correctly. “What do you mean?” She shrugged her shoulders. “I mean Zabdiel absolutely adores you.” “Chris is head over heels for you,” Isa said quickly in hopes of Krista dropping the subject. She sighed, dejected. “Not the way Zabdiel is for you. Chris is always so preoccupied. He never pays attention to me anymore. He buries himself in music and rehearsal to avoid everything and everybody. He’s civil towards you, at least.” Krista shrugged again and was about to say something else when they both heard a loud scream of, “Oh my God!” coming from the backyard. Everyone dropped what they were doing and ran outside to see Kaja and Joel embracing, tears running down Kaja’s face. “Kaja,” Isa gasped, “are you okay?” Joel let her out of his arms and she nodded, walking over to the group and displaying a large diamond ring on the fourth finger of her left hand. “We’re getting married!” Zabdiel looked around, passing Joaquin to Chris. “You want to marry this loco? You sure you don’t want to rethink this?” Joel elbowed him harshly in the ribs. “I was actually being romantic. Don’t ruin it, pendejo,” he chuckled. Noemi wedged herself between them. “Joel, can I see you in the kitchen for a second?” Joel pointed to where they were still awe-struck over the ring. “Pero, I got-” She tugged Joel’s sleeve, showing she meant business as she hissed through clenched teeth, “Now.” Noemi was sure that the patio door was shut and no one else was around the kitchen before she turned and began to read the riot act to the boy she saw as another son. “Joel, what are you thinking?” “What do you mean?” Joel asked, pulling a Pepsi out of the fridge. Noemi rubbed her forehead to try and alleviate the forming headache. “You two haven’t been together long. You want to dive into this so quickly? You’re too young to know what you want.” Joel lowered his gaze, for one moment trying to see if the pouting face would work for her. When it didn’t, he murmured, “Noemi, I love her.” “I know you think that. I just don’t think you’ve been out enough,” she admitted with a sigh. “You haven’t dated much before her. You haven’t lived life all that you should before tying yourself down.” He searched for a reply, eventually growling, “Noemi, in the end, it’s my choice. I’d appreciate your blessing, but I don’t need your approval. A choice I decide to make is my business, not yours.” “Not my business?” she laughed dubiously. “Oh, you’d better be kidding, Joel. You’re like my son- every move you all make is my business.” “Noemi, I’m marrying Kaja. There’s nothing more to be said.” He made his way to the door to go back outside but Noemi grabbed his shoulder to sit him back down. Noemi was rarely pushed to the point of anger, but the way her voice thundered lowly and her eyes went alight made the hair on the back of Joel’s neck stand on end. “I start it, I end it. Now sit down.” “Pero, I-” “Sit. Down.” He grumbled as he slammed himself down in a chair at the kitchen table. “What’s the problem?” Noemi took a long deep breath before beginning. “Joel, you’re not thinking clearly. You’re too young to get married!” He exclaimed, knowing he could use a parallel as his point. “Zabdiel and Isa got married at nineteen!” “And do you want to make that same mistake?” Noemi rolled her eyes. “Joel, that was totally and completely different situation.” “How was it different?” he demanded. She hollered, “It was different because Isa was already pregnant!” Joel couldn’t reply, only tapping his fingers across the side of the can, and realization hit Noemi like a brick. “Oh, Jesus Christ, Joel.”

the dance show
week before the dance show everyone showed their effort in staying in school till 7/8pm for rehearsals putting their time and energy in it.
As rehearsal manager I made sure everyone was doing what they needed to and was telling me everything from what dances they were practicing to what how far they reached. I would then feedback to Mrs. Nash and Farah-Faith (director) whilst also working on the 5 dances I needed to rehearse
I worked on Flamenco (my solo) and also with Noemi, Bachata with Aaliyah but she pulled out last minute so I taught Bobby 2 days before the show. West Side Story with my class mates. Toxic with Farah-Faith, Shani, Chloe and Tia. Lastly, Earned it with Tia, Shani and Aaliyah however with earned it we had to make it a 3 person show as the last person did not show up : we tried our best to make it work with 3 persons. - we changed it 10 minutes before the performance as we were not sure if the 4th person was coming until right at he end.

Note
Teba and Saki have those parent instincts on Lock. And not just for all four of them but Riju, Yonobo, Revali, and Mipha and Sidon (despite those last two having an actual Dad around.) (Granted they aren't really the 'Primary' parents but still, they will be that older Mom/Dad friend and they will make you feel bad for lying to them. Or for teaching Tulin new swear words.) Daruk is also Dad and Urbosa have achieved Peak Wine Mom/Aunt vibes. And I'm throwing in Dorephan too. He tends to Dad the Champions and Sages too. (*holds him up* I just think he's neat.)
Champ calls him Dad exactly once and Dorephan is in tears. He's so happy with his soon-as-Sidon-Gets-His-Act-Together-son-in-law and He straight up adores his feral in-laws who scare the crap out out of Muzu and their sole source of sense who seeks him out for tea and talks.
The Four lost their parents in the Calamity and came out with a whole pack of parental figures.
Speaking of losing people, I feel Aaliyah more than Sage but he still gets it too occasionally, they also have issues with separating these Champions with the ones who died. Again nothing is held against them, but it still takes everyone a second to readjust when a memory one person has doesn't entirely sync up with another person's memory.
but lets not get distracted by the SadnessTM.
Aaliyah is not literally chained to a bed for the duration of her pregnancy but it is a damn near thing. She's chewing on everyone, left and right. Sage especially.
Tia will abuse both her magic and her surprising buffness to cart off her idiots. They drives her crazy and just wants five minutes, but they are her idiots at the end of the day.
Aaliyah is the favourite purely because she's the only one who stays to listen. Champ just clamped his hands over his ears like a kid (which fair. thats his Person and ew.) while Sage just about turns straight out of the door (which rude. She listened to all your pining!) And they wonder why Aaliyah gets an inch more leeway than they do.
Aaliyah just straight up YEETING the contraceptive into First's face and yelling about she doesn't want to hear shit anymore is hysterical to me because none of the three would have any idea. And Tia is left to awkwardly straight-faced explain that while she appreciates them respecting protocol and all that jazz, please at least hold her hand and stop leaving room for Hylia. Hylia aint done shit for her. And while they don't have to take her straight to her room and leave her boneless for the rest of the day, a little defilement never hurt anyone. Please she will beg if she has too. She did not spend 100 years holding back Ganon just to get cockblocked by her position as Queen. She will wait until marriage if that's what they're comfortable with but, please stop treating her delicately all the fucking time.
(Tia blames Hylia and potentially Sky's Zelda because if she hadn't gotten laid and started the Royal Lineage, then Tia wouldn't be getting cockblocked now.)
(I feel Twilight would be the one to finally snap out of the three since he wasn't raised with the strict rules of Knighthood/ Court Life and just draaaags Tia into his lap before kissing the breath out of her. It's only when Tia dazedly says that on her wedding night, he can have her first that the other two snap into action. Cause ruffled is a very good look on her and they aren't going down without a fight.)
That's probably when the hickeys start showing up and Aaliyah immediately starts going no-filter, Not Safe For Minors, gritty details about her three boys. Tia takes it gracefully (if with a little help from some wine because that's still one of her brothers and because she has memories of exactly what they all get up to in private against her will).
Aaliyah enlists Wild and Cal to help her distract Sage and Champ. Tia is regrettably informed of exactly how Aaliyah enlisted them.
SORRY IM LATE-
Teba and Saki have been training for this <3 They somehow go from having one kid to at least eight. (Dorphan is just another unfortunate parent in all of this FOFBF) They need parents all around to corral the children for a regular bed time. At this point, they are all on the straight in narrow lest they be subject to The Look. Yk the one? Daruk is the dad that's always hugging them and saying how proud he is FNOFBNF Urbosa is the wine mom that talks shit about your classmates with you. (he is so neat) Dorephan absolutely paretns them as well. It's just the dad in him.
Champ is never allowed to call him anything else from that point on. It was a trap all along. He brought Dorephan two new kids what are you talking about? Sure they bite a little but Muzu has been blissfully quiet since they showed up. So who is he to complain? Especially when Tia comes with them.
LITERALLY THOUGH- These guys are like reverse imprinting on EVERYONE-
Aaliyah for sure does, especially with the Sheikah of Tia's time. She is such a shaky person that it makes it hard sometimes to remember that she's...safe, I guess. That these people aren't out to get her. That she'll be okay. When something doesn't line up, you bet it takes a second to just...recombobulate. Sage does it too, but Aaliyah has to catch herself much more often.
FBFBF They have the potential for so much sadness it's actually kind of funny. But actually kinda sad.
THEY GET DAMN NEAR CLOSE. NFKONBF Sage contemplates buying a muzzle for a half second because he's probably covered in bitemarks. Like even before she's pregnant, I imagine they could just be like...cuddling and she'll just nibble on a nipple. snack on a tit pec. yk? When she's pregnant, now it's just a form of 'How fucking dare you attempt to chain me up.
Tia being the wrangler is so funny to me nifbf The only reason she hasn't suplexed their ass is bc they are her idiots.
Aaliyah being the favorite will now just live rent free in my brain bc you KNOW Champ is bitter about it, but he just cannot bring himself to listen to it. Sage has no patience for it. At all. He doesn't have it for fungus, so he won't have it for Tia. The only reason he has patience for Aaliyah is bc...well, c'mon, that's aaliyah. That's his girl yk? It's different when it comes to her.
That will not stop them from bitterly glaring at Aaliyah when she rubs it in.
Aaliyah is so done with all of their shit. Doesn't even stick around to explain what it is. She's in and then she's gone to find Sage because she doesn't wanna THINK about anything anymore. Tia is begging at this point for them to do something. Hell, she'll do it if they don't. She did not spend a hundred years waiting for something only for nothing. So either step up or step back. Like, just hold her hand just a little.
(Good people to blame. Bc c'mon. Aaliyah doesn't have to wait. She doesn't have to get cockblocked by no one. Tia is only a little jealous.)
(Twi for sure would be. Idk, it's the country boy in him. He's just a little more ruggish than the others, okay <3 He was holding back because knight one and two told him too, but if the lady wants it, the lady gets it. He's smiling like a maniac when she says that, hogging her bc they snost and they lost. )
Aaliyah is taking this as a challenge. Those two say some of the most downright vile, toe gripping, sheet slicking, gut churning things all with a straight face. These girls have no shits given. (Okay a little shits given, but it's easily fixed with wine. FBKBF It's a mess all around)
Aaliyah being the best girlboss she can be fr fr. Tia can never look at them the same way again.

All the found family, all the time. One of them accidentally calls Daruk 'Dad' and there's no turning back. Teba and Saki have Ultimate Parent energy and are somehow the only other people who can even slightly truly corral the Trio aside from Tia. (They share custody.) One big family.
I do like the idea of the Champions gaining their counterpart's memories as well (even if their's are slightly more... traumatising than the Sage's) so it is a bit of a struggle at first to separate Aaliyah and Sage from their past selves, but they've also been through this before. I think Champ would've been a lot more like Cal due to the pressure put on him, despite Tia's efforts to shield him from that. So while it would take them a little bit to adjust, it's also a quicker adjustment than one would assume. They still slip occasionally, but no more than they do with Champ or accidentally get Champ and Sage confused. I doubt there's any real hard feelings about it since they all know how confusing this is.
But also Daruk snuggling with Aaliyah like a particularly feral kitten trying to take chunks out of him while he thinks it's cute. Aaliyah is just straight up gnawing on him.
Even when Tia enlists his help to try and get her to slow down for five minutes Petal ffs you're 8 months pregnant!
Tia just plucking her feral idiots out of the air gives me life. She spent a lot of time being slung over shoulders now it's her turn to haul them off.
Only Aaliyah gets a little bit more leeway than the boys because she's the one who listens to all of Tia's bitching during teatime. It's gotten to the point Aaliyah started spiking her tea and Tia's not far behind.
("I just want to share some intimacy and closeness and get my back fucking blown out. Is that so much to ask?"
"Tia, I am begging you. Please stop talking about that asshole. I will hear anything else."
"Petal. Petal, I have plans for those scarves and Twi's pelt. I am going to make such a mess of those men. If I can still walk the day after my wedding, I've failed and will need to remedy it for the whole day."
"Tia. Please. How the fuck do you even know about this? You are so virginal and yet!"
"When my study isn't fucking occupied, I read."
"..."
"A lot.")
Tia just wants to get laid, but her three are so respectable and honorable and courteous. Can't they take at least a little bit of advantage? Just a smidgen? Anything?!
It's getting to the point Aaliyah wants Tia to get laid and Tia getting laid isn't something she wants to think about. The day one of them figures out how to make like 99% effective contraceptive tea is the day both of their problems are solved. (Look Tia deserves to have her back blown out. With the amount of bullshit she's been through, minimised or generally averted, she deserves this and so help her, Aaliyah if one of you intervenes, you're all dead to her.)
The biting thing becomes a massively running joke, especially after Tia breaks the streak. One that suddenly turns on them when Tia starts deliberately turning it into a "It has been x amount of days since Tia last gave a hickey to one of her suitors." which in turn Sage takes as a challenge and well, at least none of them are biting the general population any more. The jokes at the wedding get wild.
FNOFNF One of them accidentally dropping the 'D' word and the fam just never letting them forget it. Teba and Saki are the parents man. They're calling the four at like 3 A.M. being like "Where are you?"
"...Bed."
"Wanna try that again?"
"No."
They just have that sixth sense, ya know? HOGHG They have custody days <33
I feel kind of bad that the champs get the memories of like...dying. I doubt Sage and Aaliyah take it personally, but like...It does kind of put them off for a second. Like, they kind of have to take a moment and remind themselves its not on purpose. And it's probably a quicker adjustment like you said. They still slip, but it's momentary and quickly fixed.
I love the idea of people just confusing Champ and Sage until they do something so undeniably them that they're quickly reminded of whose who.
NOFNF Yeah Aaliyah is using the Gorons as a personal chew toy <3 bc they don't feel a thing. And the Zora chew them back >:( And the Rito's have feathers >:(( And the gerudo are all muscle >>:(((
Its a group effort to keep her off her feet at that point. Sage keeps them handcuffed <33
Tia being the buff baby <3 We love her. Dragging away the trio like its nothing.
Aaliyah is the favorite and they can't say anything about it so they just sit there like >:(
Aaliyah doesn't even hide it at one point and Tia just downs like three shots like its nothing. Then just spills her guts. At this point, Aaliyah knows the blond's fantasies better than her own..
("I just know he's a giver. I just know it."
"Tia, please. I don't care. At this point I'd be more willing to hear about Cece's Day."
"I'm telling you. I want to be carried in the day after my wedding day. Like just no usage of my legs. At all."
"I think I'd chew my own ears off rather than listen to this-"
"I mean absolutely just destroyed-"
"OKAY-"
"...You and Sage gonna have to run the kingdom for a day-"
"STOP TALKING-")
Tia fighting for her life fr- Like her boys aren't even holding her hand. They're sitting with enough room for Jesus Hylia in between them and her, hands in their laps. It drives her nuts. Like if she can just get them to brush up against her, she'd be okay for the night.
Aaliyah doesn't wanna think about anyone's sex like other than her own, and now she's being forced to. At this point, it's her life's mission to find a contraceptive. She does find a couple (Wild Carrot Seed, smartweed leaves, Rutin, etc.) and she nearly cries in relief. Its practically thrown in their faces before shes stomping off, yelling about how she doesn't wanna hear shit anymore. (That does not stop her from hearing all of the nitty gritty details, but after that point Aaliyah assumes it's fair game and is able to go into just as disgustingly intimate detail.) At that point, Aaliyah is helping to distract Sweetpea and Sage. Just dragging them off to some made up duty she pulls out of her ass.
The biting thing is their biggest inside joke. Until Tia turns it. Then it turns back into that when Sage turns it back on her. Aaliyah comes so close to buying a muzzle. The general public is relieved that their no longer at threat to being bitten, but everyone else who has to deal with these two are not happy >:(
FIFBF THEIR WEDDINGS (All three) WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN FHOFBF

(Forward real quick into Chain era Hyrule)
Sage keeps calling Sweetpea 'Fugus' because he's like a 'goddess damn mushroom that wont die'. Sweetpea is all "That's the nicest thing you've ever said about me! I love you too!"
(And to be perfectly honest, the whole Sage is approachable thing is kinda his own fault since Sweetpea loves kids and they sometimes get Sage and Sweetpea confused and Sage just goes with it. Cause ya know, they're kids. Aaliyah is giving him so much shit and Tia's just happy he's talking to someone.)
Sweetpea is the only version of that Link that isn't attracted to Aaliyah and the Triplets are like "You have terrible taste." (Instead he has a thing going on with Sidon and Yona. Sage doesn't want to know the details and if Sweetpea keeps telling him said details, Tia is about to be down a family member. Sweetpea realises his other counterparts don't have the same tastes as him and promptly chooses Chaos :D )
He thinks the way Wild and Cal are immediately gone on Aaliyah is hysterical but also is like lowkey running an intervention that's 68% effective so they don't have two dead bodies on their hands.
Of course when he spots a chain member flirting with his princess, Sweetpea is like "The Fuck you are :)" and is setting the Wolves on them while he distracts Tia.
(I feel like one of the older Chain is the way to go. Either Warriors, Twilight or First if we include him. Cause the idea of one of them being harassed by the Menaces all while Tia is mostly oblivious is funny. He can hold his own but he might need back up. Thank gods Wild is helping, even if its for his own benefit.)
Sage calling Sweetpea Fungus (I assume that's what you meant?) and Sweetpea just being like '<3 I knew you'd soften eventually brother!' and Sage is setting him on fire is so funny to me like-
Sweetpea is the brother that's all 'Friends! Love! Flowers!' and Sage is the one that barks.
(Okay, but like Sage is good with kids. He just doesn't have the patience for the adults that come with them. They all love the twins but the adults are like..."are you sure?' It's both heartwarming and the funniest thing ever. Bc on one hand, this man has literally slaughtered monster camps single-handedly. On another, he lets the village children braid his hair, flowers and all.)
(Sweetpea is counting down the days until he can call himself an uncle, man. Whether it's Tia finally finding someone or Aaliyah deciding its time to settle down. Bc he is going for the title of best uncle ever. It will be his.)
Sweetpea is the only one seeing Aaliyah for who she really is lmao. The triplets calling his taste terrible is actually so hilarious. Like they're just drooling over her while she chops logs and Sweetpea is gagging in the corner. He's seen her eat dirt before. He knows what she's like. ALSO Sweetpea being an oversharer when it comes to Sidon and Yona is so funny. Sage has no patience for it, but he's secretly the softest brother to sweetpea, so he 'listens'. But if he has to hear one more bit about Zora anatomy he's blowing up the place.
Sweetpea is the most annoying big brother when it comes to Aaliyah. Those two are throwing down every chance they get.
He's running distractions and lowkey foiling all of Sage's murders attempts. Wild and Cal owe him such a big thank you. And they don't even know it.
Imagine him spotting it and he just nudges the two feral beasts like 'Hey, someone is hitting on big sister-' and watches as they go absolute feral beast. like just D:< biting and tackling.
(Okay hear me out. All of them. So now it's three on three. Wars vs. Sweetpea, knight v knight. Twilight vs. Sage. Successor V Predecessor. First vs Aaliyah. The most composed knight in the timeline yet v an undead feral creature who was never meant to play a big of a part as she does who now has this super powerful rock on her side. Sweetpea may just look past Wild's obvious attempt on getting close to his SIL for the extra help.)

That is a Galaxy Brain idea. Aaliyah and Tia switch.
Because on the one hand, if Sage has already skip-de-do-dah-ed into Full Yandere for Aaliyah, Tia is going to have to do some really quick talking (and possibly shielding) to get Sage to at least humour her when they figure out that it was a switch. (Her resemblance to Natura isn't helping at all.)
Meanwhile, Sweetpea (which is Tia's favourite nickname for her Link alongside Gremlin) is happy to have a new fellow feral friend, but is also deeply concerned about her because she's confronted with the fact that in a different timeline, a timeline without her and a 'different' Princess, all of the champions survived, Hyrule itself wasn't nearly as damaged, several people that died are alive (including Link's sister who I've named Ariel) and there are still Divine Beasts here. (An extremely stressed Sheikah who bites and blows things up and is possibly on the edge of tears at any given moment is a bit beyond his still redeveloping social skills. Would she like a snack? Or some tea. Tia always makes tea for situations like this. He'll make some tea!) (Pray for him. He's usually more self-confident than this, but he is so out of his depth rn.)
(Tia learns about Aaliyah, thinks about the whole situation and starts wondering if she could commit interdimensional kidnapping.)
(Tia to Natura: If you can't play nicely with others, you don't get to play at all.)
Thank you, thank you <3 I was bound to have one eventually.
Okay, so, the best thing about Sage and Aaliyah is that they have been so broken ( I promise her backstory is coming soon so you guys don't have to guess what's going on in my head), that they can't recognize what a healthy relationship is. They understand what they have between themselves, and what they want from each other, but their relationship is probably dangerously co-dependent. They rely on one another to keep going. They have no care for doing things for themselves, but if bandaging a cut sets the Sheikah at ease, then Sage will do it. If eating more than just whatever scraps she finds settles him, Aaliyah will make time to eat a full meal. So when one half of that co-dependency is broken, the other is panicking. And when they panic, they get violent and unpredictable. Primal in the sense that they're missing such a big half of themself. Like a caged animal wound up, ready to strike.
And now, instead of his other half, he's faced with this imposter who looks so close to that witch that had damned them to start with? Yeah, she's going to have to talk fast and get to the point quicker. He's stalking towards her like a vengeful spirit, Master Sword dragging against the ground as it glints dangerously. He is a machine. anything to get what was his back. After she explains the switch and what it entailed, he's probably a little less jumpy. He's giving it some merit because it's what gets him back Aaliyah.
That doesn't mean he likes it though.
Sweetpea (AHHF I LOVE IT-) is deeply concerned. He's actually wondering if he can get her into therapy with the time he has her, because, like I said, Aaliyah is deeply co-dependent. So she's on edge and frazzled and so out of her depth she's freaking out. She hates not being in control and this gives her none. Not only that, but she's face with the Champions and the divine beasts and a kingdom that didn't fall.
I imagine with her title as the Sheikah Champion (Back in the Calamity days), she was privy to a lot more information than anyone else. Because there is no way the Sheikah didn't know more than they let on. My personal headcanon is that they know everything. They keep records of past generations. Of past Links. They know the prophecies and the stories foretold. They know it all. And they keep it locked down. Not even the average Sheikah knows. Just those in positions of power. Impa, Purah, Aaliyah. However because of this, she was trained from a young age. Groomed to be this weapon for this generation's Link and Zelda. She deviated however. She followed her duty in the sense that she died and fell for them (Only being kept alive by the Sheikah, who's loyalty lied with her rather than the crown), but after her death, it was like she was rewired.
Anyway, so being faced with her trauma once more hits her hard. The Calamity was something she was punished for mere moments after getting out of her own life preservation device. She didn't even know what she had done and they were holding her down. She couldn't even tell them her name before her back was being marked with lines that haunted her to this day. And it didn't happen here. Because their princess was worth so much more than the one she was faced with.
Sweetpea truly lives up to his name because just like Tia, he takes it in stride. He's following her at an appropriate distance, apologizing to those she snaps at and making sure she doesn't give anyone lasting trauma. He has no idea where she keeps pulling bombs from, but he's Stressed. But again, like Tia, he understands it comes from a place of grief. She's hurting and lost and this is just how she's been taught to handle it. And when the loneliness sets in and she's struck by just how far from home, from her Link, she is, she just shatters. It's a burst of destructive anger that leaves at least one forest in flames before she's just sitting there and crying.
Sweetpea is there the whole time, approaching when her flame shield finally shatters. He's offering tea and snacks because that's what Tia would do in this situation and she would for sure know what to do here because he doesn't and he does not wanna get skewered.
He's just as out of his depth as she is and is treading as carefully as he can. Her accepting the sweet bun he offers brings him a little ease even if he knows she's still wildly unpredictable. She trusts him just a bit.
(Interdimensional kidnapping could happen but she'd have to fight Sage. And he fights dirty.)
(Natura loosing privileges faster than she can blink-)
