Help my friend @nourasbasha feed his kids, my heart is breaking when i hear of the hunger his children are experiencing, begging for help crying for someone to listen.

“I swear to you, we are hungry. My kids cry all day saying ‘I’m hungry, I want to eat’ — and I have nothing to give them. Even my baby, not yet a year old, searches for a piece of bread or a spoon of lentils. We’re not asking for milk or vegetables or baby formula… just bread. Just flour to make bread.”

The situation in Gaza is apocalyptic and israel is starving palestinians out on purpose, profitting from the famine to charge palestinians insane prices for food.

These people live through it, please hear them out. Please help them out and don't just look away as palestinians bleed.

Hello friends, I am Abdullah Salem Abdullah Jaafar, 26 years old, a graduate of the University College with a degree in Information Technology - Multimedia. I used to have a beautiful family; I’m married and have four children, and my wife is pregnant.

I previously worked at a multimedia company, but because of the war, I lost my job, my home, my car, and now I have no place to live or work.

During the war, we were forced to evacuate more than four times. Each time, we had to leave everything behind without taking any of our personal belongings.

I live in northern Gaza.

We were displaced to southern Gaza, then to Deir al-Balah, then to Rafah, and now we live in an uninhabitable tent that is not suitable for living.

My daughter Rahaf was martyred in the war due to Israeli airstrikes. Now I have Iman, Malak, Basel, and my wife is in her seventh month of pregnancy.

Please, I am in desperate need of your help just to provide food and water for my children.

I lost my home and we have become homeless."

my singular favourite costume detail in iwtv is something bailey bass points out on her youtube channel - claudia wears fake, clip on earrings. it’s such a small detail but it adds so much to her endless physical childhood that she’s mentally outgrown. she couldn’t change it even if she wanted to - the piercings would heal. also, clip-ons hurt. she’s trying to grow up so much it hurts. it’s such a small detail but it shows just how trapped claudia was in her body and in her childhood. she’s so desperate, especially in season one, for the outside to match the inside. she could never truly become herself, she would always be pretending. she is a shadow of what she would have grown into.

Ahmed, a father of four, sits helplessly as his infant daughter cries without tears — her mother has no milk left, and hope has vanished from his eyes.

He told me:

"If I stay, I die with them in silence. If I go out, I may die alone. But I can’t bear to watch them starve and do nothing." He’s not asking for a dignified life — just a piece of bread to extend his children's lives by one more day. Just one can of baby formula… to keep his daughter from dying slowly.

In Gaza, fatherhood means offering your body to feed your children. It means becoming a potential martyr just to bring home a sip of water. It means walking into death — only to delay the death of those you love.

What kind of world is this? What conscience allows a people to be trapped between starvation and fire?

On October 22, 2023, an airstrike destroyed the house I was in — my grandfather’s home. It was the heart of our family.

I was there with my mother, my sister, and my three younger brothers.

When the missile hit, everything turned to smoke, blood, and silence.

My mother and sister were killed instantly.

My brothers and I were pulled from the rubble, injured — but alive.

Moments later, my father arrived at the hospital.

He didn’t know if any of us had survived. He ran through the halls, searching.

Al Jazeera Mubasher filmed that exact moment — the moment he found us.

This video isn’t easy to watch. But it’s the truth.

It’s the moment my father found his sons alive…

and learned that his wife and daughter were gone.
