After checking off several major career goals, Gwen celebrated by asking Kirby out on an official date. Even though it's been a dreary winter, they had a lot of fun at the Winter Festival together - that is, until Elvira's number one fan spotted them kissing and wasted no time calling up the tabloids to smear Gwen's reputation.

Quite cold today. It's 44 degrees warmer inside my refrigerator. But the temperature would have to drop 20 more degrees to match what I remember as the coldest outdoor air I've ever experienced at home. That's actual temperature, not the "feels like" stuff weather people use to remind us we live in the tundra.

The dogs went outside briefly to relieve themselves. Normally they go in and out the doggy door a few times throughout the morning. Maybe a squirrel or rabbit returned to the yard? Can't hurt to check again. Not today though. Ella is upstairs on the bed, snuggling with Sheila who doesn't feel good. Oliver and Sulley made blanket and pillow forts on the couch and appear nearly lifeless.

I'm off work today, because of the holiday. I'm quietly cleaning and doing laundry. Later though, I will need to get out of the house--maybe go to the mall and walk. Don't worry, I don't have a polyester track suit or shoes with Velcro closures. Yet.

so my present for christmas this year was a pc (my first one ever!!!!!), specifcally going half an half on the payments and its running super well, just has some bits like bluetooth n wifi that need to be handled externally (wifi works semi ok bc it has the driver but not the usb it needs to properly work) since its refurbished from a super old model (they stopped in either 2013 or 2017 i dont remember off the top of my head) BUT the main reason i got this was so i could do stuff like blender and drawing and animation on it with less worries about space and functionality (blender makes my laptop flicker after a while for example) so really really looking forward to starting on things

There's a pause, as he takes a moment to think back to those days of his past when nothing in the world mattered to him more than absolute power, he shoved everything else to the side, but all for what? A fever dream where he believed the world would be perfect if he was this all-powerful figure who stood above everyone else.

Looking back on all of that now, if he did actually complete his selfish mission, what would he do next? The truth was, he didn't know. Now he did, it had taken him a long time to realize it. But all that power he had carelessly thrown his life away for? In the end, he would have been wearing a crown of dirt, King of nothing but utter regret --- he would never let anything blind him anymore.
