I don’t exclusively use pads/period underwear but I use them more than tampons, and I only wear tampons in conjunction with pads rather than separately because tampons alone will leak on me, so:

I shower once or twice during my period (~8 days long). No more because it’s a pain in the ass to try to dry off while also bleeding out. I do have baby wipes if I feel gross in between.

I basically exclusively wear granny parties anyway regardless of what time of the month it is.

When sleeping, I wear a tampon on my heaviest nights, but I genuinely think some part of me is holding blood in while asleep, because I’ll stand up to go to the bathroom and THEN the floodgates open.

omg wait this highlights an issue I'd literally never considered. drying off while oozing if you can't just put a tampon in............ that would be so annoying jfgkljsdklgjds if i had to wear a pad and underwear while drying I'd be suffering so much bc I (autism) HA T E the sensation of drying so much already.

also i guess that makes sense re: blood flow at night, i mean i never thought about it but a large part of it is probably gravity, right? .........do astronauts with periods have issues with that? have they studied this? how much of it is gravity. TO GOOGLE.

Periods apparently are NOT that effected by gravity, at least not so much that anyone's ever noticed anything off while up there. The body expels it all on its own regardless of the presence of gravity!

Honestly one of the cruelest things Erik did to Charles was pause after saying Angel. You can see the anger fade immediately, he thinks for a moment that Erik is meeting him with love and gentleness. It anchors him, he stops to really look at him. Eyes to lips. For a moment he thought Erik called him Angel.

b) it's really hard not to like, re-write for them and stick to just "hey add descriptions here, change this grammar, really cool ideas!" bc i'm an adult and not trying to talk over/railroad these kids, but i'm just so excited for their ideas!!!

c) little boys write cool stuff like "what if we went to mars but it sucked so we left, but left behind all our technology and the technology rose up and created its own society and then went to war with us for abandoning them? what if transformers had 100x the war crimes? what if the earth blew up. what if we were the robots all along?"

d) little girls out here writing like "aunt melanie's skin was sloughing off the bones as her beloved dogs tore her apart, turning on her in blind animal instinct. the second she stopped providing food, she became food." and a lot of body horror and dark themes about group pacts and betrayals and ritualistic murder/sacrifices. like a lot
