"Why do people call all pan characters bisexual?" well, probably bc pansexuality is the same thing as bisexuality?? And bisexual people are tired of biphobia and pretending like there is a difference
Bisexuality is attraction regardless of gender. Some Bisexuals do have preferences, some don't
Pansexuality means exactly the same thing. All attempts to say the difference between these two is always just a straight up biphobia
Everyone who is attracted to men and women is bisexual and people have a right to call everyone who is attracted to men and women bisexual. Just like people can call a woman who loves only women a lesbian or a man who loves only men a gay, or those who are attracted only to the opposite sex heterosexual
And removing this right form bisexual people is nothing but biphobia
People are really so afraid of calling themselves bisexual that they have made up millions of idiotic names for bisexuality and It's a real problem (pansexual, omnisexual, polysexual, abroaexual, gaybian...and every other non-existed sexuality that actually is just BIsexuality)

Here’s some lesser known sapphic tv shows that I recommend
Yellowjackets — only two canon lesbians and a gay man but in my opinion like half of them are lesbians, they get stranded in canada because of their plane crashing and eventually resort to cannibalism. Season three comes premiers on valentines day.
Teenage Bounty Hunters— one lesbian and one bisexual, they go to a religious school. Enemies to lovers, show ends on a cliffhanger
Bodkin— Irish journalist lesbian returns to Ireland because her boss sent her there due to complications involving a guy who killed himself, along with two other people to do a Podcast. The girl she kisses only has like 5 minutes of screen time and they don’t end up in a relationship. Hasn’t been cancelled or renewed for another season.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer— no lesbianism until season 4, this show is especially good if u love the whimsigoth aesthetic. Theres a really popular ship involving Buffy and Faith, unfortunately the writers didn’t make them canon. But there’s two canon witch lesbians.
Dare Me— so underrated, two canon lesbian cheerleaders. Very homoretic friendship, they kiss once. It’s like Jackieshauna but more toxic. There’s definitely some dark themes, unfortunately it was cancelled. But it’s still worth the watch in my opinion.
The Boys— this show is definitely really known, but most people don’t know that there is in fact a sapphic relationship in the show involving one of the main characters. Shes bisexual and her girlfriend or situationship is lesbian. They get a happy ending, at least so far. Theres another season coming so I can’t be sure.
The Fall of the House of Usher— a variety of queer characters, only two have canon sexualities. One of the main characters, Madeline Usher kisses a girl. She sees that girl everywhere as her brother’s kids start dying quickly. The only canon sexualities is her brother’s kid, shes a lesbian and has a wife. Definitely check out Mike Flanagan’s other shows, almost all have some sort of sapphic rep.

An analysis of love in From Eden/ Self titled by Hozier
Something so interesting about the love in From Eden is that, to me, the best way you can describe how the narrator sings about love is pathetic. Or in some cases even genuinely toxic.
Songs such as “take me to chruch” and “Cherry Wine” are about toxic love.
“Take me to Church” (while having a lot of religious imagery) has a theme of an unbalanced love. This theme, of course, can refer to a genuine romantic relationship but also the relationship of religious followers to their church.
“Cherry Wine” is about domestic violence. The narrator is aware of the domestic abuse they’re going through yet still revers their lover, exploring how domestic violence victims and survivors cope with abuse.
Other songs in From Eden the narrator is kinda pathetic in their love (I say this jokingly. I just think saying pathetic is funny). Think of songs such as “Angel of Small Death and Codeine Scene”, “Jackie and Wilson”, “Someone New”, “To be Alone”, “From Eden”, “It Will Come Back”. All of these songs are, in some way, showing the yearning of the narrator. The narrator has a love unreciprocated and he’s going to lengths to even feel their love for a second.
There are very few genuine love songs in From Eden. Out of the 15 tracks only 3 can be called genuine love songs (in my opinion) these songs being “Work Song”, “In a week”, and “Like real people do”.
My interpretation of how love works in From Eden is that the narrator is a victim of love. He grasps at something he just can’t reach. It’s as if the narrator is stuck in the desert, using their hands as a water cup yet the water slips out, he only ever gets enough to wet his lips.

btvs making magic a metaphor for queerness but then later making it a metaphor for drugs/addiction was stupid. but also like... have you seen the damage toxic yuri does? that shit IS addictive and WILL lead to you making irrational decisions and cause you spin out of control.

My room has become cat Hangout central. Honestly it's a miracle since Coco and Xena usually play fight like chaos beasts. Jackie was chased out by Xena for trying to pick a fight so no picture of her this time.

“Oh Jackie, you’re such a cutie. Hard to believe that after all these years, despite how much you’ve grown, you’re still that cute little spider that I got for my 12th birthday. I love you.”
Continuing forth with my Papa Louie spree, here we have another character from the series that I’ve grown to love. For the second Inktober prompt, Spiders, meet Willow and her pet tarantula, Jackie! I mean, could there have been a better duo to use for this prompt? Who knew that my new special would come with two characters that would end up being perfect for a prompt like this? That aside, while most do have a heightened fear of tarantulas, there’s no doubting that the long-lasting relationship between Willow and Jackie is enough to bring a smile to one’s face, as well as a new-found warmth in their heart.
Enjoy! 😊♥️
