Pokémon Verse

Disclaimer: This is an experimental verse. I haven’t played all of the main games and what I remember is a bit blurry because it’s been years. I apologise for any mistakes.

With that out of the way, here’s a quick rundown of the ladies’ teams and backstory.

Rook

Native of Kalos, Rook is really into the lore regarding the legendary Pokémon, something that goes surprisingly well with her current job. She may or may not have helped designing the Pokétch, the watch that is so popular in the Sinnoh region, though she seems to be working for several other tech companies. In place of a PKE meter, this Rook has another device to be obsessed with, this time to gather data on the Pokémon she encounters while traveling around.

In this verse, Rook still possesses her magic, though its origins are unknown.

Willow

Little is known about Willow. She showed up at Rook’s place in Kalos and somehow they started getting along despite their personalities being polar opposites. The two have been traveling together ever since and apparently Willow is helping Rook with her research.

Just like Rook, Willow enjoys gathering medals of the regions she visits. However, nobody seems to have ever seen Willow actually battle at the gyms. On the other hand, everybody seems to remember about an enigmatic masked individual with amazing hair who goes by the name of Mantis.

Willow still retains her current abilities, though they’re toned down given the lack of Cyberspace.

Erica

Found as a baby at the entrance of the cave in Celestic Town, Erica grew up full of energy and spirit of adventure. The townspeople sometimes struggled to keep up with her, but always regarded these as qualities and accepted Erica for who she was, and even encouraged her to go off on her own once the town started feeling a bit too small for her.

And so, Erica joined Rook in her travels around the world. All she asks for is fun, good company and the chance of seeing new Pokémon.

Erica is still a huldra in this verse.

Smokey has been following Erica around since it was just a Shinx. The townspeople allowed her to keep it since its nature made it for the perfect companion for Erica. Kept, since none of Erica’s Pokémon are actually caught. Each one decided to follow her around on its own.

Fae

Even in this verse, Fae is a rising star of entertainment. Musicals, movies, concerts, you name it, she’s done it and has fans scattered across each region. Her fame doesn’t keep her from joining the others, or even have them over at any of her houses scattered across the regions.

She’s the one who’s been to Galar the most, and even suggested Rook kept the Rookidee that had stowed away in her luggage. It was meant as a joke, but Rook immediately grew fond of the little guy, also known as Hely.

Fae is of course a fairy in this verse. Or is she?

Just like with Erica, Fae’s Pokémon haven’t been caught. They simply follow her because they enjoy her and taking part in her shows.
