It was after another bar with no information that Marc got the call. "Moon Knight here," he greeted on instinct. "I've found it," Reese's voice was thick and tinged with dread, "the Anti-Ecto Acts." "Reese?" "It's-," she audibly breathes deeply, "It's bad. It's really, really bad."

Instantly, Marc climbs to the nearest rooftop before he asks: "How bad?" "...Anyone who meets a certain threshold of 'ectoplasm contamination' is no longer considered sentient," horror coated each word, "It's legal to, and encouraged to- To detain, experiment on, and slaughter any who meet the criteria."

A vicious cocktail of anger, disbelief, and nausea swelled in Marc's chest, punctuated by the same feeling echoing from Steven and Jake. "How- How did anyone allow this to go through?" Jake asked, pleaded for an answer. "The bigger question is do the Avengers know?" Steven pointed out, but agreed regardless. "Ectoplasm as in ghosts, right?" Marc asked aloud instead. "Yes," Reese's voice shook slightly.

"Being dead's illegal now!?" Jake roared while Steven radiated the air of a man on the edge of hysterical laughter. "Right," Marc was beyond angry now, "I'd like you to do something for me, Reese." "Ok." "Print out two copies of the offical documentation for this...law, and I want you to attach a message to both." "What's the message?" "If I found out that any of you knew about this, the number of faces I've removed is going to go up."

When relief past over Danny's face after the dose, Greer gave a sigh herself. "I take it it's working?" Badr asked with a slight smile on his lips. "Yeah, can still kinda feel it but-" Danny cut himself off, and sighed as he relaxed into the sheets. "I'll be getting some more, then," Greer stated with a smile. The Mission delicately plumped up his pillow as he yawned. With in a minute, Danny was asleep.

"Thank you Greer," Badr relaxed minutely. "Of cource, I'll see if any of the others need me." "If Reese is having no luck, could you send her in? I think a brief rest is in order." With a nod, Greer left the room quietly.

Instantly, the Mission spawned a door on the other side of the hallway. Greer startled slightly but stepped through.

Reese looked haunted. Two envelopes sat in front of her, the same message scribbled on both. For a moment, Greer was afraid that she might throw up. "Reese, are you ok?" "No... I found it, the Acts."

Reese stood up almost robotically. "I don't want to think that the Avengers know about it, but-" she paused and picked up the envelopes, "Could you take these?" "Where to?" "Sanctum Sanctorum, and Avengers HQ. Don't look up the Acts yet, wait until these are delivered." "OK," Greer nodded and took them, "I'm getting some more medication for Danny. Badr's asked if you can take over for him." "Yeah, just give me a moment and I'll head over."

With a nod that is echoed by Reese, Greer walked away, worry bubbling in her gut.

Nuclear hot take, but Hank Pym should get to roast a meat cake (with potato frosting) for William.

Greer would love the idea, but Jan absolutely refuses to allow this food crime in her house.

Were this a fair and just world Hank McCoy and William Grant-Nelson(Pym) would have met at least once and might even have a cute uncle-nephew dynamic. You think William wouldn't love having an uncle whose furry like him but BLUE??? It would be the coolest thing in the world to him. He'd probably try to dye himself blue afterwards.

It was a lot of fun working on this!! Below, you'll find that I had SO much more planned for this, but, because my computer hit the fan and decided to do a full system corruption (everything I worked on was lost), I only have the script and screenshots of it. However, I hope you enjoy plan B and have a great new years!!

(I don't know why on mobile it compresses these images horribly, but hey, they're not so compressed if you click on them or on computer! :D)

OKAY, so I was going to make this a different post, but I had an entire comic planned out haha.

This was the entire thing, aside from the reference page haha. EIGHTEEN PAGES WERE LOST. Worse? I already inked half of them and started coloring one. Wonderful.

First page - Jake turns off the blaring alarm. I managed to ink and color this page... well, color at least Jake in the Mr. Knight suit and the sarcophagus before my computer decided to die, so a win!

Second page - Included Jake waking up and getting ready for the day. I still have screen shots of the closet and this!! Hurray!!

After, it was basically a bathroom scene where Steven showed up, was like: "Hey, Marc's not getting up. Check what day it is today!" Jake checks, it's Rosh Hashana! Wow! No wonder why. Crazy. How do you want to spend it? Steven is like, I miss our families traditional food. Spoiler alert: They get the food and everyone sits down to eat together.

Next, Jake shows up and hangs out with Reese before Yehya bursts through the door with a lot of food. He would've walked to the kitchen, which is thankfully next to where everyone is (thank you Mission), and everyone else would follow suit as they helped put food away/prepare food (with banter, of course).

As they're putting away/preparing food, Greer shows up with William, and begins helping as well. We get a nice moment with Jake and William, where then he sends the kid off to grab Solider. William also gives Jake a "Happy Rosh Hashanah!" card spelt horribly that melts everyone's heart. Reese goes to put it on the fridge, and Greer and Jake have a nice moment together, now alone because Mission decided to make a wall to separate them from the others.

However, this is where the screenshots stop for some reason. After, it detailed the antisemitism in the past and how Marc feels uncomfortable with their Judaism because of everything that has happened, and because of that, how it's been a long time that they have fully celebrated Rosh Hashanah with their family. It effects Jake greatly because he loves his religion.

It ends off with them having a nice meal together and Marc finally showing up to say "Our new mishpocha... hm?" and Jake reciprocates the feeling.

HOWEVER! My computer decided to cry and crap itself, so now we're here with me longing for the snow. I hope you enjoyed this gift, even though it was Plan B, and once again, happy new years!! <3
