Windsor Rejected By Accused ---- Blame for the double killing at East Windsor last December, when Straton Yarmolovich shot his wife and then committed suicide. was laid at the door of George Brechtow, of 1019 Hickory street, East Windsor, when he appeared in East Windsor Police Court today on a charge involving another man's wife.

DENIES GUILT Brechtow appeared today charged with corrupting the home of Trofim Worobess, at 1019 Hickory here he was a boarder. He pleaded guilty.

Inspector M. R. Winters of the Children's Aid Society, prosecuting. proposed that Brechtow be given 24 hours to leave the city, characterizing the accused as a danger to the municipality. Brechtow refused this offer and was remanded until Tuesday for trial. Mr. Winters told the court that he had investigated the Yarmolovich case and had learned that Brechtow, formerly a boarder in the Yarmolovich home was the cause of the double tragedy. Mr. Winters declared that even after Brechtow was ejected from the Yarmolovich home by the husband. Mrs. Yarmolovich and Brechtow might each other and carried on their affair. ‘Brechtow’ declared Mr. Winters, danger to the municipality. He is in the same situation at present that preceded the Yarmolovich tragedy. I want to avoid a repetition of that tragedy, or perhaps something worse.

’Worobess started yesterday. Fortunately he only beat Brechtow up. using his fists. He might have used something else. Brechtow is a danger to the community and I'd like to give him a chance to get out." SUGGESTS RELEASE Mr. Winters suggested that Brechtow should be released from custody to appear tomorrow morning. Then when he failed to appear, a warrant should be made out for his arrest and he should be arrested whenever he returned to the city.

Brechtow could nos speak very good English, but declared. through an interpreter, that he was unwilling to leave the city because individuals here owed him money. 

"Just to show you the seriousness of the present situation,’ Mr. Winters declared to the magistrate. ‘Mrs Werobess, wife of the complainant, went over and beat up one of our witnesses yesterday." 

“Was it a female witness she beat up?” asked the magistrate. 

“Nothing so gentle,” answered Mr. Winters, "it was a man." 

Magistrate Smith pointed out to the accused that acceptance of Mr. Winters’ offer might save him a long jail term, probably several years. But Brechstow remained adamant.

Mayor Williams, who acted as counsel in the Yarmolovich case, today supported the story that Brechtow was responsible for the Yarmolovich tragedy. Brechtow, Mayor Williams said, had been a hoarder at the Yarmolovich home and was summoned as a witness for Mrs. Varmolevich when the family'a troubles were aired in court, Mayor Williams declared today that he would appear on Thursday and ask that Brechtów he given the maximum penalty on the charge that faces him, several years in jail. 

Harry Baby, court interpreter at East Windsor, declared today that it was common knowledge among the country men of Yarmolovich that the latter went running for Brechtow before he killed his wife and then that himself.
